經文:
15:1 「我是真葡萄樹，我父是栽培的人。
15:2 凡屬我不結果子的枝子，他就剪去；凡結果子的，他就修理乾淨，使枝子結果子更多。
15:3 現在你們因我講給你們的道，已經乾淨了。
15:4 你們要常在我裡面，我也常在你們裡面。枝子若不常在葡萄樹上，自己就不能結果子；你們若不常在我裡面，也是這樣。
15:5 我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子。常在我裡面的，我也常在他裡面，這人就多結果子；因為離了我，你們就不能做甚麼。
15:6 人若不常在我裡面，就像枝子丟在外面枯乾，人拾起來，扔在火裡燒了。
15:7 你們若常在我裡面，我的話也常在你們裡面，凡你們所願意的，祈求，就給你們成就。
15:8 你們多結果子，我父就因此得榮耀，你們也就是我的門徒了。
15:9 我愛你們，正如父愛我一樣；你們要常在我的愛裡。
15:10 你們若遵守我的命令，就常在我的愛裡，正如我遵守了我父的命令，常在他的愛裡。
默想: 耶穌在論到葡萄樹與枝子時，兩個重要的點。一是枝子是要結果子。二是枝子要常常與葡萄樹連結(在主裡面)。
耶穌說「凡屬我不結果子的枝子，祂就剪去，凡結果子的，祂就修理乾淨，使枝子結果子更屬。」(約十五2)從這段來看，枝子的責任就是要結果子，若沒有辦法結出果子，其結果，就是被剪去。那我們要結出什麼樣的果子呢？簡單的來說，一個是聖靈的好果子，就是當我們信主之後，生命不斷地向成聖的道路前進，我們的生命被主改變，而結出許多信德的好果子。另外的一種果子，是福音的果子，就是那些福音的朋友，看見我們生命所結的好果子，因而被吸引，透過我們生命的見證，使他們更認識基督，進而接受福音成為福音初熟的果子。所以結果子可以分為結出生命的果子與福音的果子。
另外一方面，枝子要常常與葡萄樹連結。耶穌說：「你們要常在我�面，我也常在你們�面」「因為離了我，你們就不能作甚麼。人若不常在我�面，就像枝子在外面枯乾，人拾起來扔在火�燒了。」當我們的生命沒有與主連結，就如同枯乾的枝子一樣，不但不能結出果子，甚至會失去生命，而被火焚燒。有時候，我們很可能看起來日子過得很好，生活很充實，但是我們卻是離了樹的枝子，只是為著自己不斷地圖謀，生命早已與主斷絕。這樣的生命，很快就會出現問題，空虛、乏味、失去意義。
求主幫助我們，要常常結生命與福音的果子，並且讓我們常在祂裡面，使我們的生命得著供應，得以不斷地成長。
題目: 你從主耶穌有關葡萄樹與枝子的比喻中學到那些屬靈的功課呢？
15:1 「我是真葡萄樹，我父是栽培的人。
"I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.
15:2 凡屬我不結果子的枝子，他就剪去；凡結果子的，他就修理乾淨，使枝子結果子更多。
Every branch of mine that bears no fruit, he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
15:3 現在你們因我講給你們的道，已經乾淨了。
You are already made clean by the word which I have spoken to you.
15:4 你們要常在我裡面，我也常在你們裡面。枝子若不常在葡萄樹上，自己就不能結果子；你們若不常在我裡面，也是這樣。
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.
15:5 我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子。常在我裡面的，我也常在他裡面，這人就多結果子；因為離了我，你們就不能做甚麼。
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
15:6 人若不常在我裡面，就像枝子丟在外面枯乾，人拾起來，扔在火裡燒了。
If a man does not abide in me, he is cast forth as a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire and burned.
15:7 你們若常在我裡面，我的話也常在你們裡面，凡你們所願意的，祈求，就給你們成就。
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.
15:8 你們多結果子，我父就因此得榮耀，你們也就是我的門徒了。
By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples.
15:9 我愛你們，正如父愛我一樣；你們要常在我的愛裡。
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love.
15:10 你們若遵守我的命令，就常在我的愛裡，正如我遵守了我父的命令，常在他的愛裡。
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
15:11 「這些事我已經對你們說了，是要叫我的喜樂存在你們心裡，並叫你們的喜樂可以滿足。
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
15:12 你們要彼此相愛，像我愛你們一樣；這就是我的命令。
"This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
15:13 人為朋友捨命，人的愛心沒有比這個大的。
Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
15:14 你們若遵行我所吩咐的，就是我的朋友了。
You are my friends if you do what I command you.
15:15 以後我不再稱你們為僕人，因僕人不知道主人所做的事。我乃稱你們為朋友；因我從我父所聽見的，已經都告訴你們了。
No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.
15:16 不是你們揀選了我，是我揀選了你們，並且分派你們去結果子，叫你們的果子常存，使你們奉我的名，無論向父求甚麼，他就賜給你們。
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
15:17 我這樣吩咐你們，是要叫你們彼此相愛。」
This I command you, to love one another.
15:18 「世人若恨你們，你們知道（或譯：該知道），恨你們以先已經恨我了。
"If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.
15:19 你們若屬世界，世界必愛屬自己的；只因你們不屬世界，乃是我從世界中揀選了你們，所以世界就恨你們。
If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
15:20 你們要記念我從前對你們所說的話：『僕人不能大於主人。』他們若逼迫了我，也要逼迫你們；若遵守了我的話，也要遵守你們的話。
Remember the word that I said to you, `A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you; if they kept my word, they will keep yours also.
15:21 但他們因我的名要向你們行這一切的事，因為他們不認識那差我來的。
But all this they will do to you on my account, because they do not know him who sent me.
15:22 我若沒有來教訓他們，他們就沒有罪；但如今他們的罪無可推諉了。
If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
15:23 恨我的，也恨我的父。
He who hates me hates my Father also.
15:24 我若沒有在他們中間行過別人未曾行的事，他們就沒有罪；但如今連我與我的父，他們也看見也恨惡了。
If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.
15:25 這要應驗他們律法上所寫的話，說：『他們無故地恨我。』
It is to fulfil the word that is written in their law, `They hated me without a cause.'
15:26 但我要從父那裡差保惠師來，就是從父出來真理的聖靈；他來了，就要為我作見證。
But when the Counselor comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness to me;
15:27 你們也要作見證，因為你們從起頭就與我同在。」
and you also are witnesses, because you have been with me from the beginning.
