經文:
12:1 逾越節前六日，耶穌來到伯大尼，就是他叫拉撒路從死�復活之處。
12:2 有人在那�給耶穌預備筵席；馬大伺候，拉撒路也在那同耶穌坐席的人中。
12:3 馬利亞就拿著一斤極貴的真哪噠香膏，抹耶穌的腳，又用自己頭髮去擦，屋�就滿了膏的香氣。
12:4 有一個門徒，就是那將要賣耶穌的加略人猶大，
12:5 說：「這香膏為甚麼不賣三十兩銀子賙濟窮人呢？」
12:6 他說這話，並不是掛念窮人，乃因他是個賊，又帶著錢囊，常取其中所存的。
12:7 耶穌說：「由她吧！她是為我安葬之日存留的。
12:8 因為常有窮人和你們同在，只是你們不常有我。」
默想: 馬利亞將真哪噠香膏獻給耶穌，通常這種香膏是一個新娘為了自己新婚之夜所預備的，可以說是新娘積一生之力，努力存錢下來，為要在結婚那裡，讓她的新郎來受用。
馬利亞對著耶穌打破真哪噠香膏，從耶穌的觀點來看，「她是為我安葬之日存留的」，我們不知道馬利亞是否真知道耶穌即將被釘在十字架，但是從馬利亞所做的事，我們可以確定，馬利亞真的深愛耶穌，為了回報耶穌的恩典，所以她想要把最好的獻給耶穌。
當馬利亞這樣做的時候，從旁人的觀點來看，是一種浪費、因為沒有將金錢用在刀口上。但是在耶穌的觀點中，這是及時表達對耶穌的愛，因為「你們不常有我」。
我們如何表達對耶穌的愛呢？我們又獻上什麼給耶穌呢？什麼是我們生命中的真哪噠香膏？常常我們不但不是將最好的獻給耶穌，而是從根本上放下耶穌，去追求我們認為最好的。願上帝憐憫我們。
題目: 你從馬利亞用真哪噠香膏抹耶穌腳的事件學到那些屬靈功課呢？
12:1 逾越節前六日，耶穌來到伯大尼，就是他叫拉撒路從死裡復活之處。
Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Laz'arus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.
12:2 有人在那裡給耶穌預備筵席；馬大伺候，拉撒路也在那同耶穌坐席的人中。
There they made him a supper; Martha served, and Laz'arus was one of those at table with him.
12:3 馬利亞就拿著一斤極貴的真哪噠香膏，抹耶穌的腳，又用自己頭髮去擦，屋裡就滿了膏的香氣。
Mary took a pound of costly ointment of pure nard and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.
12:4 有一個門徒，就是那將要賣耶穌的加略人猶大，
But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (he who was to betray him), said,
12:5 說：「這香膏為甚麼不賣三十兩銀子賙濟窮人呢？」
"Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?"
12:6 他說這話，並不是掛念窮人，乃因他是個賊，又帶著錢囊，常取其中所存的。
This he said, not that he cared for the poor but because he was a thief, and as he had the money box he used to take what was put into it.
12:7 耶穌說：「由她吧！她是為我安葬之日存留的。
Jesus said, "Let her alone, let her keep it for the day of my burial.
12:8 因為常有窮人和你們同在，只是你們不常有我。」
The poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me."
12:9 有許多猶太人知道耶穌在那裡，就來了，不但是為耶穌的緣故，也是要看他從死裡所復活的拉撒路。
When the great crowd of the Jews learned that he was there, they came, not only on account of Jesus but also to see Laz'arus, whom he had raised from the dead.
12:10 但祭司長商議連拉撒路也要殺了；
So the chief priests planned to put Laz'arus also to death,
12:11 因有好些猶太人為拉撒路的緣故，回去信了耶穌。
because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and believing in Jesus.
12:12 第二天，有許多上來過節的人聽見耶穌將到耶路撒冷，
The next day a great crowd who had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem.
12:13 就拿著棕樹枝出去迎接他，喊著說：和散那！奉主名來的以色列王是應當稱頌的！
So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!"
12:14 耶穌得了一個驢駒，就騎上，如經上所記的說：
And Jesus found a young ass and sat upon it; as it is written,
12:15 錫安的民（原文是女子）哪，不要懼怕！你的王騎著驢駒來了。
"Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your king is coming, sitting on an ass's colt!"
12:16 這些事門徒起先不明白，等到耶穌得了榮耀以後才想起這話是指著他寫的，並且眾人果然向他這樣行了。
His disciples did not understand this at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that this had been written of him and had been done to him.
12:17 當耶穌呼喚拉撒路，叫他從死復活出墳墓的時候，同耶穌在那裡的眾人就作見證。
The crowd that had been with him when he called Laz'arus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead bore witness.
12:18 眾人因聽見耶穌行了這神蹟，就去迎接他。
The reason why the crowd went to meet him was that they heard he had done this sign.
12:19 法利賽人彼此說：「看哪，你們是徒勞無益，世人都隨從他去了。」
The Pharisees then said to one another, "You see that you can do nothing; look, the world has gone after him."
12:20 那時，上來過節禮拜的人中，有幾個希臘人。
Now among those who went up to worship at the feast were some Greeks.
12:21 他們來見加利利伯賽大的腓力，求他說：「先生，我們願意見耶穌。」
So these came to Philip, who was from Beth-sa'ida in Galilee, and said to him, "Sir, we wish to see Jesus."
12:22 腓力去告訴安得烈，安得烈同腓力去告訴耶穌。
Philip went and told Andrew; Andrew went with Philip and they told Jesus.
12:23 耶穌說：「人子得榮耀的時候到了。
And Jesus answered them, "The hour has come for the Son of man to be glorified.
12:24 我實實在在地告訴你們，一粒麥子不落在地裡死了，仍舊是一粒，若是死了，就結出許多子粒來。
Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
12:25 愛惜自己生命的，就失喪生命；在這世上恨惡自己生命的，就要保守生命到永生。
He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
12:26 若有人服事我，就當跟從我；我在哪裡，服事我的人也要在那裡；若有人服事我，我父必尊重他。」
If any one serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there shall my servant be also; if any one serves me, the Father will honor him.
12:27 「我現在心裡憂愁，我說甚麼才好呢？父啊，救我脫離這時候；但我原是為這時候來的。
"Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? `Father, save me from this hour'? No, for this purpose I have come to this hour.
12:28 父啊，願你榮耀你的名！」當時就有聲音從天上來，說：「我已經榮耀了我的名，還要再榮耀。」
Father, glorify thy name." Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again."
12:29 站在旁邊的眾人聽見，就說：「打雷了。」還有人說：「有天使對他說話。」
The crowd standing by heard it and said that it had thundered. Others said, "An angel has spoken to him."
12:30 耶穌說：「這聲音不是為我，是為你們來的。
Jesus answered, "This voice has come for your sake, not for mine.
12:31 現在這世界受審判，這世界的王要被趕出去。
Now is the judgment of this world, now shall the ruler of this world be cast out;
12:32 我若從地上被舉起來，就要吸引萬人來歸我。」
and I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself."
12:33 耶穌這話原是指著自己將要怎樣死說的。
He said this to show by what death he was to die.
12:34 眾人回答說：「我們聽見律法上有話說，基督是永存的，你怎麼說『人子必須被舉起來』呢？這人子是誰呢？」
The crowd answered him, "We have heard from the law that the Christ remains for ever. How can you say that the Son of man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?"
12:35 耶穌對他們說：「光在你們中間還有不多的時候，應當趁著有光行走，免得黑暗臨到你們；那在黑暗裡行走的，不知道往何處去。
Jesus said to them, "The light is with you for a little longer. Walk while you have the light, lest the darkness overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.
12:36 你們應當趁著有光，信從這光，使你們成為光明之子。」耶穌說了這話，就離開他們隱藏了。
While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light." When Jesus had said this, he departed and hid himself from them.
12:37 他雖然在他們面前行了許多神蹟，他們還是不信他。
Though he had done so many signs before them, yet they did not believe in him;
12:38 這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話，說：主啊，我們所傳的有誰信呢？主的膀臂向誰顯露呢？
it was that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: "Lord, who has believed our report, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"
12:39 他們所以不能信，因為以賽亞又說：
Therefore they could not believe. For Isaiah again said,
12:40 主叫他們瞎了眼，硬了心，免得他們眼睛看見，心裡明白，回轉過來，我就醫治他們。
"He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, lest they should see with their eyes and perceive with their heart, and turn for me to heal them."
12:41 以賽亞因為看見他的榮耀，就指著他說這話。
Isaiah said this because he saw his glory and spoke of him.
12:42 雖然如此，官長中卻有好些信他的，只因法利賽人的緣故，就不承認，恐怕被趕出會堂。
Nevertheless many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:
12:43 這是因他們愛人的榮耀過於愛 神的榮耀。
for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
12:44 耶穌大聲說：「信我的，不是信我，乃是信那差我來的。
And Jesus cried out and said, "He who believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me.
12:45 人看見我，就是看見那差我來的。
And he who sees me sees him who sent me.
12:46 我到世上來，乃是光，叫凡信我的，不住在黑暗裡。
I have come as light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.
12:47 若有人聽見我的話不遵守，我不審判他。我來本不是要審判世界，乃是要拯救世界。
If any one hears my sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.
12:48 棄絕我、不領受我話的人，有審判他的─就是我所講的道在末日要審判他。
He who rejects me and does not receive my sayings has a judge; the word that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day.
12:49 因為我沒有憑著自己講，惟有差我來的父已經給我命令，叫我說甚麼，講甚麼。
For I have not spoken on my own authority; the Father who sent me has himself given me commandment what to say and what to speak.
12:50 我也知道他的命令就是永生。故此，我所講的話正是照著父對我所說的。」
And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has bidden me."
