全新四年樂活讀經
經文: 以弗所書 5:3-5 至於淫亂並一切污穢，或是貪婪，在你們中間連提都不可，方合聖徒的體統。淫詞、妄語，和戲笑的話都不相宜；總要說感謝的話。因為你們確實的知道，無論是淫亂的，是污穢的，是有貪心的，在基督和神的國裡都是無分的。有貪心的，就與拜偶像的一樣。
默想: 保羅在此提到有關話語與信仰的關係。保羅認為有關色情、無聊、或嘲諷的話語，都是不合宜的。信徒要常常說感恩的話。知足才會感恩。不知足就會陷入貪心。保羅認為貪心就與拜偶像一樣。貪心是十誡的最後一誡，拜偶像是十誡的第二誡。貪心就是對於上帝所創造與賞賜的禮物，不會知足與感恩，而是永無止境的企圖得到更多。如此，所貪圖的對象就會成為我們心中的偶像，主宰我們的生命。求主幫助我，讓我能夠常常知足感恩，常常說感恩的話。
題目: 保羅勸勉夫妻彼此順服，建立以基督為首的家庭，試問，在你的家庭裡，夫妻間是否以存敬畏基督的心，彼此順服？
5:1 所以，你們該效法 神，好像蒙慈愛的兒女一樣。
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
5:2 也要憑愛心行事，正如基督愛我們，為我們捨了自己，當作馨香的供物和祭物，獻與 神。
And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
5:3 至於淫亂並一切污穢，或是貪婪，在你們中間連提都不可，方合聖徒的體統。
But fornication and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is fitting among saints.
5:4 淫詞、妄語，和戲笑的話都不相宜；總要說感謝的話。
Let there be no filthiness, nor silly talk, nor levity, which are not fitting; but instead let there be thanksgiving.
5:5 因為你們確實地知道，無論是淫亂的，是污穢的，是有貪心的，在基督和 神的國裡都是無分的。有貪心的，就與拜偶像的一樣。
Be sure of this, that no fornicator or impure man, or one who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
5:6 不要被人虛浮的話欺哄；因這些事， 神的忿怒必臨到那悖逆之子。
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for it is because of these things that the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
5:7 所以，你們不要與他們同夥。
Therefore do not associate with them,
5:8 從前你們是暗昧的，但如今在主裡面是光明的，行事為人就當像光明的子女。
for once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light
5:9 光明所結的果子就是一切良善、公義、誠實。
(for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true),
5:10 總要察驗何為主所喜悅的事。
and try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
5:11 那暗昧無益的事，不要與人同行，倒要責備行這事的人；
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.
5:12 因為他們暗中所行的，就是提起來也是可恥的。
For it is a shame even to speak of the things that they do in secret;
5:13 凡事受了責備，就被光顯明出來，因為一切能顯明的就是光。
but when anything is exposed by the light it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light.
5:14 所以主說：你這睡著的人當醒過來，從死裡復活！基督就要光照你了。
Therefore it is said, "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light."
5:15 你們要謹慎行事，不要像愚昧人，當像智慧人。
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise,
5:16 要愛惜光陰，因為現今的世代邪惡。
making the most of the time, because the days are evil.
5:17 不要作糊塗人，要明白主的旨意如何。
Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
5:18 不要醉酒，酒能使人放蕩；乃要被聖靈充滿。
And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit,
5:19 當用詩章、頌詞、靈歌彼此對說，口唱心和地讚美主。
addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart,
5:20 凡事要奉我們主耶穌基督的名常常感謝父 神。
always and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.
5:21 又當存敬畏基督的心，彼此順服。
Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.
5:22 你們作妻子的，當順服自己的丈夫，如同順服主。
Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord.
5:23 因為丈夫是妻子的頭，如同基督是教會的頭；他又是教會全體的救主。
For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.
5:24 教會怎樣順服基督，妻子也要怎樣凡事順服丈夫。
As the church is subject to Christ, so let wives also be subject in everything to their husbands.
5:25 你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，正如基督愛教會，為教會捨己。
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
5:26 要用水藉著道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，
that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
5:27 可以獻給自己，作個榮耀的教會，毫無玷污、皺紋等類的病，乃是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。
that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.
5:28 丈夫也當照樣愛妻子，如同愛自己的身子；愛妻子便是愛自己了。
Even so husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
5:29 從來沒有人恨惡自己的身子，總是保養顧惜，正像基督待教會一樣，
For no man ever hates his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, as Christ does the church,
5:30 因我們是他身上的肢體（有古卷加：就是他的骨他的肉）。
because we are members of his body.
5:31 為這個緣故，人要離開父母，與妻子連合，二人成為一體。
"For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."
5:32 這是極大的奧祕，但我是指著基督和教會說的。
This mystery is a profound one, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church;
5:33 然而，你們各人都當愛妻子，如同愛自己一樣。妻子也當敬重她的丈夫。
however, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
5:2 也要憑愛心行事，正如基督愛我們，為我們捨了自己，當作馨香的供物和祭物，獻與 神。

5:6 不要被人虛浮的話欺哄；因這些事， 神的忿怒必臨到那悖逆之子。
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for it is because of these things that the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
5:7 所以，你們不要與他們同夥。
Therefore do not associate with them,
5:8 從前你們是暗昧的，但如今在主裡面是光明的，行事為人就當像光明的子女。
for once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light
5:9 光明所結的果子就是一切良善、公義、誠實。
(for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true),
5:10 總要察驗何為主所喜悅的事。
and try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
5:11 那暗昧無益的事，不要與人同行，倒要責備行這事的人；

Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.
5:22 你們作妻子的，當順服自己的丈夫，如同順服主。
Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord.
5:23 因為丈夫是妻子的頭，如同基督是教會的頭；他又是教會全體的救主。
For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.
5:24 教會怎樣順服基督，妻子也要怎樣凡事順服丈夫。
As the church is subject to Christ, so let wives also be subject in everything to their husbands.
5:25 你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，正如基督愛教會，為教會捨己。
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
5:26 要用水藉著道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，
that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
