經文: 馬可福音 16:18 手能拿蛇；若喝了什麼毒物，也必不受害；手按病人，病人就必好了。
默想: 在教會歷史當中，我們可以看見有一些小教派，是以當眾抓毒蛇或飲毒藥，而沒有發生致命危險來作為基督門徒的證據。這是字句主義 (literalism) 解經原則所培養出來的信仰型態。我們在使徒行傳28章3-5節看到使徒保羅在被解送到羅馬的海上遭遇海難，在米利大島登岸，卻被毒蛇所咬。但是保羅蒙主保守，只是將毒蛇甩入火裡，並沒有受害，為主作了美好的見證。在這裡保羅不是主動去抓毒蛇，來證明自己的信仰。有關毒物的教導，主耶穌是說，若喝了什麼毒物，可見也是在一種沒有計畫與預期的情況之下，受到環境的侵害，會蒙上帝的保守。求主幫助我，不論到何處，都信靠上帝的保守，但是不會主動的去尋找危險的處境來試探上帝。
題目: 17-18節「信的人必有神蹟隨著他們；」，有哪些神蹟奇事？應用於現在你有何想法？
16:1 過了安息日，抹大拉的馬利亞和雅各的母親馬利亞並撒羅米，買了香膏要去膏耶穌的身體。
And when the sabbath was past, Mary Mag'dalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salo'me, bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him.
16:2 七日的第一日清早，出太陽的時候，她們來到墳墓那裡，
And very early on the first day of the week they went to the tomb when the sun had risen.
16:3 彼此說：誰給我們把石頭從墓門滾開呢？
And they were saying to one another, "Who will roll away the stone for us from the door of the tomb?"
16:4 那石頭原來很大，她們抬頭一看，卻見石頭已經滾開了。
And looking up, they saw that the stone was rolled back; -- it was very large.
16:5 她們進了墳墓，看見一個少年人坐在右邊，穿著白袍，就甚驚恐。
And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe; and they were amazed.
16:6 那少年人對他們說：不要驚恐！你們尋找那釘十字架的拿撒勒人耶穌，他已經復活了，不在這裡。請看安放他的地方。
And he said to them, "Do not be amazed; you seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen, he is not here; see the place where they laid him.
16:7 你們可以去告訴他的門徒和彼得，說：他在你們以先往加利利去。在那裡你們要見他，正如他從前所告訴你們的。
But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him, as he told you."
16:8 她們就出來，從墳墓那裡逃跑，又發抖又驚奇，甚麼也不告訴人，因為她們害怕。
And they went out and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them; and they said nothing to any one, for they were afraid.
16:9 在七日的第一日清早，耶穌復活了，就先向抹大拉的馬利亞顯現。耶穌從她身上曾趕出七個鬼。
Now when he rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.
16:10 他去告訴那向來跟隨耶穌的人；那時他們正哀慟哭泣。
She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
16:11 他們聽見耶穌活了，被馬利亞看見，卻是不信。
But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe it.
16:12 這事以後，門徒中間有兩個人往鄉下去。走路的時候，耶穌變了形像，向他們顯現。
After this he appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking into the country.
16:13 他們就去告訴其餘的門徒；其餘的門徒也是不信。
And they went back and told the rest, but they did not believe them.
16:14 後來，十一個門徒坐席的時候，耶穌向他們顯現，責備他們不信，心裡剛硬，因為他們不信那些在他復活以後看見他的人。
Afterward he appeared to the eleven themselves as they sat at table; and he upbraided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen.
16:15 他又對他們說：你們往普天下去，傳福音給萬民（萬民：原文是凡受造的）聽。
And he said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
16:16 信而受洗的，必然得救；不信的，必被定罪。
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
16:17 信的人必有神蹟隨著他們，就是奉我的名趕鬼；說新方言；
And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
16:18 手能拿蛇；若喝了甚麼毒物，也必不受害；手按病人，病人就必好了。
they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover."
16:19 主耶穌和他們說完了話，後來被接到天上，坐在 神的右邊。
So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
16:20 門徒出去，到處宣傳福音。主和他們同工，用神蹟隨著，證實所傳的道。阿們！
And they went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that attended it. Amen.
