W5 2013-12-06以賽亞書25
25:1 耶和華啊，你是我的 神；我要尊崇你，我要稱讚你的名。因為你以忠信誠實行過奇妙的事，成就你古時所定的。
25:2 你使城變為亂堆，使堅固城變為荒場，使外邦人宮殿的城不再為城，永遠不再建造。
25:3 所以，剛強的民必榮耀你；強暴之國的城必敬畏你。
25:4 因為當強暴人催逼人的時候，如同暴風直吹牆壁，你就作貧窮人的保障，作困乏人急難中的保障，作躲暴風之處，作避炎熱的陰涼。
25:5 你要壓制外邦人的喧嘩，好像乾燥地的熱氣下落；禁止強暴人的凱歌，好像熱氣被雲影消化。
25:6 在這山上，萬軍之耶和華必為萬民用肥甘設擺筵席，用陳酒和滿髓的肥甘，並澄清的陳酒，設擺筵席。
25:7 他又必在這山上除滅遮蓋萬民之物和遮蔽萬國蒙臉的帕子。
25:8 他已經吞滅死亡直到永遠。主耶和華必擦去各人臉上的眼淚，又除掉普天下他百姓的羞辱，因為這是耶和華說的。
25:9 到那日，人必說：「看哪，這是我們的 神；我們素來等候他，他必拯救我們。這是耶和華，我們素來等候他，我們必因他的救恩歡喜快樂。」
25:10 耶和華的手必按在這山上；摩押人在所居之地必被踐踏，好像乾草被踐踏在糞池的水中。
25:11 他必在其中伸開手，好像洑水的伸開手洑水一樣；但耶和華必使他的驕傲和他手所行的詭計一併敗落。
25:12 耶和華使你城上的堅固高臺傾倒，拆平，直到塵埃。
默想:
上帝是以忠信誠實施行奇妙的事，因為上帝的大能，使得強暴之國的城，變為亂堆，堅固的城邑變為荒場。人的勢力強大，從來沒有影響過上帝決意要行的事。耶和華為祂的名擺設筵席，除滅遮蓋萬民之物和遮蔽萬國蒙臉的帕子。重要的是，上帝吞滅死亡直到永遠。上帝的名與能力勝過一切的勢力，沒有任何事物得以阻擋祂。我們的神必要擦去各人臉上的眼淚，又除掉普天下他百姓的羞辱。上帝是紀念我們苦情的上帝，他沒有在我們苦難時，閉眼不看、塞耳不聽。相反的，祂為祂的百姓忍耐多時，必要替他們申冤。
上帝的名值得我們稱讚與尊崇，不單是因為他是大有能力的神，更重要的是，祂沒有忘記我們的苦情，祂不是在一旁觀看，而是感受到我們所受的痛苦。如果我們的上帝不是一位關心我們的上帝，那麼祂的大能與我們有什麼干係呢？感謝神，祂是與我們「共感」的神，了解我們、體貼我們，也以祂的公義判斷我們，並且以祂的慈愛拯救我們。這是我們的神，我們能不讚美、尊崇嗎？
題目: 耶和華的名是值得稱讚與尊崇，因為耶和華曾經做過那些事呢？
25:1 耶和華啊，你是我的 神；我要尊崇你，我要稱讚你的名。因為你以忠信誠實行過奇妙的事，成就你古時所定的。
O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
25:2 你使城變為亂堆，使堅固城變為荒場，使外邦人宮殿的城不再為城，永遠不再建造。
For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
25:3 所以，剛強的民必榮耀你；強暴之國的城必敬畏你。
Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
25:4 因為當強暴人催逼人的時候，如同暴風直吹牆壁，你就作貧窮人的保障，作困乏人急難中的保障，作躲暴風之處，作避炎熱的陰涼。
For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
25:5 你要壓制外邦人的喧嘩，好像乾燥地的熱氣下落；禁止強暴人的凱歌，好像熱氣被雲影消化。
Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
25:6 在這山上，萬軍之耶和華必為萬民用肥甘設擺筵席，用陳酒和滿髓的肥甘，並澄清的陳酒，設擺筵席。
And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
25:7 他又必在這山上除滅遮蓋萬民之物和遮蔽萬國蒙臉的帕子。
And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. destroy: Heb. swallow up cast: Heb. covered
25:8 他已經吞滅死亡直到永遠。主耶和華必擦去各人臉上的眼淚，又除掉普天下他百姓的羞辱，因為這是耶和華說的。
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it .
25:9 到那日，人必說：「看哪，這是我們的 神；我們素來等候他，他必拯救我們。這是耶和華，我們素來等候他，我們必因他的救恩歡喜快樂。」
And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
25:10 耶和華的手必按在這山上；摩押人在所居之地必被踐踏，好像乾草被踐踏在糞池的水中。
For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill. trodden down under: or, threshed, etc trodden down for...: or, threshed in Madmenah
25:11 他必在其中伸開手，好像洑水的伸開手洑水一樣；但耶和華必使他的驕傲和他手所行的詭計一併敗落。
And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.
25:12 耶和華使你城上的堅固高臺傾倒，拆平，直到塵埃。
And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
