經文: 創世紀 17:1 亞伯蘭年九十九歲的時候，耶和華向他顯現，對他說：「我是全能的神。你當在我面前作完全人。
默想: 上帝應許要賞賜亞伯拉罕後裔已經渡過了二十四個年頭。亞伯拉罕與撒萊的信心已經動搖，他們夫妻兩人企圖用自己的方法，來幫助上帝實現他的應許。亞伯拉罕與夏甲同房的結果，生下了以實瑪利。但是這卻不是耶和華的心意。因此，耶和華再度向亞伯拉罕顯現，要亞伯拉罕作完全的人。我想，上帝是要亞伯拉罕努力作一位對上帝應許完全相信的人。因為，上帝對亞伯拉罕說，我是全能的神。在耶和華豈有難成的事嗎？求主幫助我，能夠對於你也存著完全的信靠。
題目: 為什麼上帝要再次與亞伯拉罕立約？你有何想法與學習？
17:1 亞伯蘭年九十九歲的時候，耶和華向他顯現，對他說：「我是全能的 神。你當在我面前作完全人，
When Abram was ninety-nine years old the LORD appeared to Abram, and said to him, "I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless.
17:2 我就與你立約，使你的後裔極其繁多。」
And I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly."
17:3 亞伯蘭俯伏在地； 神又對他說：
Then Abram fell on his face; and God said to him,
17:4 「我與你立約：你要作多國的父。
"Behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be the father of a multitude of nations.
17:5 從此以後，你的名不再叫亞伯蘭，要叫亞伯拉罕，因為我已立你作多國的父。
No longer shall your name be Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.
17:6 我必使你的後裔極其繁多；國度從你而立，君王從你而出。
I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come forth from you.
17:7 我要與你並你世世代代的後裔堅立我的約，作永遠的約，是要作你和你後裔的 神。
And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you.
17:8 我要將你現在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，賜給你和你的後裔永遠為業，我也必作他們的 神。」
And I will give to you, and to your descendants after you, the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God."
17:9 神又對亞伯拉罕說：「你和你的後裔必世世代代遵守我的約。
And God said to Abraham, "As for you, you shall keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations.
17:10 你們所有的男子都要受割禮；這就是我與你並你的後裔所立的約，是你們所當遵守的。
This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your descendants after you: Every male among you shall be circumcised.
17:11 你們都要受割禮〔原文作割陽皮；14，23，24，25節同〕；這是我與你們立約的證據。
You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you.
17:12 你們世世代代的男子，無論是家裡生的，是在你後裔之外用銀子從外人買的，生下來第八日，都要受割禮。
He that is eight days old among you shall be circumcised; every male throughout your generations, whether born in your house, or bought with your money from any foreigner who is not of your offspring,
17:13 你家裡生的和你用銀子買的，都必須受割禮。這樣，我的約就立在你們肉體上作永遠的約。
both he that is born in your house and he that is bought with your money, shall be circumcised. So shall my covenant be in your flesh an everlasting covenant.
17:14 但不受割禮的男子必從民中剪除，因他背了我的約。」
Any uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin shall be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant."
17:15 神又對亞伯拉罕說：「你的妻子撒萊不可再叫撒萊，她的名要叫撒拉。
And God said to Abraham, "As for Sar'ai your wife, you shall not call her name Sar'ai, but Sarah shall be her name.
17:16 我必賜福給她，也要使你從她得一個兒子。我要賜福給她，她也要作多國之母；必有百姓的君王從她而出。」
I will bless her, and moreover I will give you a son by her; I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall come from her."
17:17 亞伯拉罕就俯伏在地喜笑，心裡說：「一百歲的人還能得孩子嗎？撒拉已經九十歲了，還能生養嗎？」
Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said to himself, "Shall a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old? Shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?"
17:18 亞伯拉罕對 神說：「但願以實瑪利活在你面前。」
And Abraham said to God, "O that Ish'mael might live in thy sight!"
17:19 神說：「不然，你妻子撒拉要給你生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫以撒。我要與他堅定所立的約，作他後裔永遠的約。
God said, "No, but Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.
17:20 至於以實瑪利，我也應允你：我必賜福給他，使他昌盛，極其繁多。他必生十二個族長；我也要使他成為大國。
As for Ish'mael, I have heard you; behold, I will bless him and make him fruitful and multiply him exceedingly; he shall be the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.
17:21 到明年這時節，撒拉必給你生以撒，我要與他堅定所立的約。」
But I will establish my covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this season next year."
17:22 神和亞伯拉罕說完了話，就離開他上升去了。
When he had finished talking with him, God went up from Abraham.
17:23 正當那日，亞伯拉罕遵著 神的命，給他的兒子以實瑪利和家裡的一切男子，無論是在家裡生的，是用銀子買的，都行了割禮。
Then Abraham took Ish'mael his son and all the slaves born in his house or bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house, and he circumcised the flesh of their foreskins that very day, as God had said to him.
17:24 亞伯拉罕受割禮的時候年九十九歲。
Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
17:25 他兒子以實瑪利受割禮的時候年十三歲。
And Ish'mael his son was thirteen years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
17:26 正當那日，亞伯拉罕和他兒子以實瑪利一同受了割禮。
That very day Abraham and his son Ish'mael were circumcised;
17:27 家裡所有的人，無論是在家裡生的，是用銀子從外人買的，也都一同受了割禮。
and all the men of his house, those born in the house and those bought with money from a foreigner, were circumcised with him.

W2 2011-01-25 (啟9:1-11:19)
經文: 啟示錄 10:10 我從天使手中把小書卷接過來，吃盡了，在我口中果然甜如蜜，吃了以後，肚子覺得發苦了。
默想: 天使要約翰將那小書卷吃下肚子裡面，在口中甜如蜜，但在腹裡卻發苦。親愛的主啊！求你幫助我，願意把你的話語吃進我的生命裡面。讓我能夠享受你話語中甜如蜜的慈愛與應許，但是也讓我能夠深切體會你話語中發苦的公義與警告。
題目: 你對於這小書卷又苦又甜的味道有何感想呢？
9:1 第五位天使吹號，我就看見一個星從天落到地上，有無底坑的鑰匙賜給它。
And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key of the shaft of the bottomless pit;
9:2 它開了無底坑，便有煙從坑裡往上冒，好像大火爐的煙；日頭和天空都因這煙昏暗了。
he opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft.
9:3 有蝗蟲從煙中出來，飛到地上；有能力賜給牠們，好像地上蠍子的能力一樣，
Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth;
9:4 並且吩咐牠們說，不可傷害地上的草和各樣青物，並一切樹木，惟獨要傷害額上沒有 神印記的人。
they were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green growth or any tree, but only those of mankind who have not the seal of God upon their foreheads;
9:5 但不許蝗蟲害死他們，只叫他們受痛苦五個月。這痛苦就像蠍子螫人的痛苦一樣。
they were allowed to torture them for five months, but not to kill them, and their torture was like the torture of a scorpion, when it stings a man.
9:6 在那些日子，人要求死，決不得死；願意死，死卻遠避他們。
And in those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, and death will fly from them.
9:7 蝗蟲的形狀，好像預備出戰的馬一樣，頭上戴的好像金冠冕，臉面好像男人的臉面，
In appearance the locusts were like horses arrayed for battle; on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold; their faces were like human faces,
9:8 頭髮像女人的頭髮，牙齒像獅子的牙齒。
their hair like women's hair, and their teeth like lions' teeth;
9:9 胸前有甲，好像鐵甲。牠們翅膀的聲音，好像許多車馬奔跑上陣的聲音。
they had scales like iron breastplates, and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many chariots with horses rushing into battle.
9:10 有尾巴像蠍子，尾巴上的毒鉤能傷人五個月。
They have tails like scorpions, and stings, and their power of hurting men for five months lies in their tails.
9:11 有無底坑的使者作牠們的王，按著希伯來話，名叫亞巴頓，希臘話，名叫亞玻倫。
They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abad'don, and in Greek he is called Apol'lyon.
9:12 第一樣災禍過去了，還有兩樣災禍要來。
The first woe has passed; behold, two woes are still to come.
9:13 第六位天使吹號，我就聽見有聲音從 神面前金壇的四角出來，
Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God,
9:14 吩咐那吹號的第六位天使，說：把那捆綁在幼發拉底大河的四個使者釋放了。
saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphra'tes."
9:15 那四個使者就被釋放；他們原是預備好了，到某年某月某日某時，要殺人的三分之一。
So the four angels were released, who had been held ready for the hour, the day, the month, and the year, to kill a third of mankind.
9:16 馬軍有二萬萬；他們的數目我聽見了。
The number of the troops of cavalry was twice ten thousand times ten thousand; I heard their number.
9:17 我在異象中看見那些馬和騎馬的，騎馬的胸前有甲如火，與紫瑪瑙並硫磺。馬的頭好像獅子頭，有火、有煙、有硫磺從馬的口中出來。
And this was how I saw the horses in my vision: the riders wore breastplates the color of fire and of sapphire and of sulphur, and the heads of the horses were like lions' heads, and fire and smoke and sulphur issued from their mouths.
9:18 口中所出來的火與煙並硫磺，這三樣災殺了人的三分之一。
By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed, by the fire and smoke and sulphur issuing from their mouths.
9:19 這馬的能力是在口裡和尾巴上；因這尾巴像蛇，並且有頭用以害人。
For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails; their tails are like serpents, with heads, and by means of them they wound.
9:20 其餘未曾被這些災所殺的人仍舊不悔改自己手所做的，還是去拜鬼魔和那些不能看、不能聽、不能走，金、銀、銅、木、石的偶像，
The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot either see or hear or walk;
9:21 又不悔改他們那些兇殺、邪術、姦淫、偷竊的事。
nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their immorality or their thefts.
10:1 我又看見另有一位大力的天使從天降下，披著雲彩，頭上有虹，臉面像日頭，兩腳像火柱。
Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire.
10:2 他手裡拿著小書卷，是展開的。他右腳踏海，左腳踏地，
He had a little scroll open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land,
10:3 大聲呼喊，好像獅子吼叫。呼喊完了，就有七雷發聲。
and called out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring; when he called out, the seven thunders sounded.
10:4 七雷發聲之後，我正要寫出來，就聽見從天上有聲音說：七雷所說的，你要封上，不可寫出來。
And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down."
10:5 我所看見的那踏海踏地的天使向天舉起右手來，
And the angel whom I saw standing on sea and land lifted up his right hand to heaven
10:6 指著那創造天和天上之物，地和地上之物，海和海中之物，直活到永永遠遠的，起誓說：不再有時日了（或作：不再耽延了）。
and swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there should be no more delay,
10:7 但在第七位天使吹號發聲的時候， 神的奧祕就成全了，正如 神所傳給他僕人眾先知的佳音。
but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God, as he announced to his servants the prophets, should be fulfilled.
10:8 我先前從天上所聽見的那聲音又吩咐我說：你去，把那踏海踏地之天使手中展開的小書卷取過來。
Then the voice which I had heard from heaven spoke to me again, saying, "Go, take the scroll which is open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land."
10:9 我就走到天使那裡，對他說：請你把小書卷給我。他對我說：你拿著吃盡了，便叫你肚子發苦，然而在你口中要甜如蜜。
So I went to the angel and told him to give me the little scroll; and he said to me, "Take it and eat; it will be bitter to your stomach, but sweet as honey in your mouth."
10:10 我從天使手中把小書卷接過來，吃盡了，在我口中果然甜如蜜，吃了以後，肚子覺得發苦了。
And I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it; it was sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it my stomach was made bitter.
10:11 天使（原文是他們）對我說：你必指著多民、多國、多方、多王再說預言。
And I was told, "You must again prophesy about many peoples and nations and tongues and kings."
11:1 有一根葦子賜給我，當作量度的杖，且有話說：起來！將 神的殿和祭壇，並在殿中禮拜的人都量一量。
Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told: "Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there,
11:2 只是殿外的院子要留下不用量，因為這是給了外邦人的；他們要踐踏聖城四十二個月。
but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample over the holy city for forty-two months.
11:3 我要使我那兩個見證人，穿著毛衣，傳道一千二百六十天。
And I will grant my two witnesses power to prophesy for one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."
11:4 他們就是那兩棵橄欖樹，兩個燈臺，立在世界之主面前的。
These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands which stand before the Lord of the earth.
11:5 若有人想要害他們，就有火從他們口中出來，燒滅仇敵。凡想要害他們的都必這樣被殺。
And if any one would harm them, fire pours out from their mouth and consumes their foes; if any one would harm them, thus he is doomed to be killed.
11:6 這二人有權柄，在他們傳道的日子叫天閉塞不下雨；又有權柄叫水變為血，並且能隨時隨意用各樣的災殃攻擊世界。
They have power to shut the sky, that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.
11:7 他們作完見證的時候，那從無底坑裡上來的獸必與他們交戰，並且得勝，把他們殺了。
And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends from the bottomless pit will make war upon them and conquer them and kill them,
11:8 他們的屍首就倒在大城裡的街上；這城按著靈意叫所多瑪，又叫埃及，就是他們的主釘十字架之處。
and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which is allegorically called Sodom and Egypt , where their Lord was crucified.
11:9 從各民、各族、各方、各國中，有人觀看他們的屍首三天半，又不許把屍首放在墳墓裡。
For three days and a half men from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb,
11:10 住在地上的人就為他們歡喜快樂，互相餽送禮物，因這兩位先知曾叫住在地上的人受痛苦。
and those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry and exchange presents, because these two prophets had been a torment to those who dwell on the earth.
11:11 過了這三天半，有生氣從 神那裡進入他們裡面，他們就站起來；看見他們的人甚是害怕。
But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.11:12 兩位先知聽見有大聲音從天上來，對他們說：上到這裡來。他們就駕著雲上了天，他們的仇敵也看見了。Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up hither!" And in the sight of their foes they went up to heaven in a cloud.
11:13 正在那時候，地大震動，城就倒塌了十分之一，因地震而死的有七千人；其餘的都恐懼，歸榮耀給天上的 神。
And at that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
11:14 第二樣災禍過去，第三樣災禍快到了。
The second woe has passed; behold, the third woe is soon to come.
11:15 第七位天使吹號，天上就有大聲音說：世上的國成了我主和主基督的國；他要作王，直到永永遠遠。
Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever."
11:16 在 神面前，坐在自己位上的二十四位長老，就面伏於地，敬拜 神，
And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God,
11:17 說：昔在、今在的主 神─全能者啊，我們感謝你！因你執掌大權作王了。
saying, "We give thanks to thee, Lord God Almighty, who art and who wast, that thou hast taken thy great power and begun to reign.
11:18 外邦發怒，你的忿怒也臨到了；審判死人的時候也到了。你的僕人眾先知和眾聖徒，凡敬畏你名的人，連大帶小得賞賜的時候也到了。你敗壞那些敗壞世界之人的時候也就到了。
The nations raged, but thy wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, for rewarding thy servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear thy name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth."
11:19 當時， 神天上的殿開了，在他殿中現出他的約櫃。隨後有閃電、聲音、雷轟、地震、大雹。
Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple; and there were flashes of lightning, voices, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.
