經文: 創世紀 2:2-3 到第七日，神造物的工已經完畢，就在第七日歇了他一切的工，安息了。神賜福給第七日，定為聖日；因為在這日，神歇了他一切創造的工，就安息了。
默想: 全能的上帝啊!你應該是不會累的，不需要在做了六日創造之工以後，就必需休息的。你不只休息了，你還特別將每週的第七日定為安息日，也祝福這一天，稱它為聖日。可見對你來說，工作雖然有其意義與重要性，休息也同樣是重要的，甚至是神聖的。主啊!求你教導我，讓我也會看重休息，並且用那個休息的安息日來親近你。
題目: 在上帝創造人的過程，對於男女、夫妻有何定規？
2:1 天地萬物都造齊了。
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2:2 到第七日， 神造物的工已經完畢，就在第七日歇了他一切的工，安息了。
And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done.
2:3 神賜福給第七日，定為聖日；因為在這日， 神歇了他一切創造的工，就安息了。
So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all his work which he had done in creation.
2:4 創造天地的來歷，在耶和華 神造天地的日子，乃是這樣，
These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created. In the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
2:5 野地還沒有草木，田間的菜蔬還沒有長起來；因為耶和華 神還沒有降雨在地上，也沒有人耕地，
when no plant of the field was yet in the earth and no herb of the field had yet sprung up -- for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was no man to till the ground;
2:6 但有霧氣從地上騰，滋潤遍地。
but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground --
2:7 耶和華 神用地上的塵土造人，將生氣吹在他鼻孔裡，他就成了有靈的活人，名叫亞當。
then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
2:8 耶和華 神在東方的伊甸立了一個園子，把所造的人安置在那裡。
And the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
2:9 耶和華 神使各樣的樹從地裡長出來，可以悅人的眼目，其上的果子好作食物。園子當中又有生命樹和分別善惡的樹。
And out of the ground the LORD God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
2:10 有河從伊甸流出來，滋潤那園子，從那裡分為四道：
A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and there it divided and became four rivers.
2:11 第一道名叫比遜，就是環繞哈腓拉全地的。在那裡有金子，
The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which flows around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
2:12 並且那地的金子是好的；在那裡又有珍珠和紅瑪瑙。
and the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there.
2:13 第二道河名叫基訓，就是環繞古實全地的。
The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which flows around the whole land of Cush.
2:14 第三道河名叫底格里斯，流在亞述的東邊。第四道河就是幼發拉底河。
And the name of the third river is Tigris, which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.
2:15 耶和華 神將那人安置在伊甸園，使他修理，看守。
The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and keep it.
2:16 耶和華 神吩咐他說：「園中各樣樹上的果子，你可以隨意吃，
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;
2:17 只是分別善惡樹上的果子，你不可吃，因為你吃的日子必定死！」
but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die."
2:18 耶和華 神說：「那人獨居不好，我要為他造一個配偶幫助他。」
Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him."
2:19 耶和華 神用土所造成的野地各樣走獸和空中各樣飛鳥都帶到那人面前，看他叫甚麼。那人怎樣叫各樣的活物，那就是牠的名字。
So out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name.
2:20 那人便給一切牲畜和空中飛鳥、野地走獸都起了名；只是那人沒有遇見配偶幫助他。
The man gave names to all cattle, and to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for the man there was not found a helper fit for him.
2:21 耶和華 神使他沉睡，他就睡了；於是取下他的一條肋骨，又把肉合起來。
So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh;
2:22 耶和華 神就用那人身上所取的肋骨造成一個女人，領她到那人跟前。
and the rib which the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.
2:23 那人說：這是我骨中的骨，肉中的肉，可以稱她為「女人」，因為她是從「男人」身上取出來的。
Then the man said, "This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."
2:24 因此，人要離開父母，與妻子連合，二人成為一體。
Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh.
2:25 當時夫妻二人赤身露體，並不羞恥。
And the man and his wife were both naked, and were not ashamed.

經文: 啟示錄 1:9 我約翰就是你們的弟兄，和你們在耶穌的患難、國度、忍耐裡一同有分，為神的道，並為給耶穌作的見證，曾在那名叫拔摩的海島上。
默想: 使徒約翰是主耶穌最親近三個使徒之一。這三位使徒的結局各不相同。根據聖經的記載，雅各是第一位為主殉道的使徒 (徒12:2)。照教會歷史的記載，彼得後來也照主耶穌的預言 (約21:18-19)，被人倒釘十架而殉道。只有使徒約翰，被主耶穌保留生命，一直到年老髮白，被放逐到拔摩海島上，親眼看到並忠心記錄下來世界末了的結局，以及主耶穌再臨的異象，後來又被釋放，回到以弗所，年紀老邁，壽終正寢。親愛的主，我們每個人的生命都在你的手裡，不管你量給我的年日是長或短，求主幫助我，讓我活出一個榮耀主的見證。
題目: 你對於以弗所教會的優缺點有何感想呢？
1:1 耶穌基督的啟示，就是 神賜給他，叫他將必要快成的事指示他的眾僕人。他就差遣使者曉諭他的僕人約翰。
The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants what must soon take place; and he made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,
1:2 約翰便將 神的道和耶穌基督的見證，凡自己所看見的都證明出來。
who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw.
1:3 念這書上預言的和那些聽見又遵守其中所記載的，都是有福的，因為日期近了。
Blessed is he who reads aloud the words of the prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written therein; for the time is near.
1:4 約翰寫信給亞細亞的七個教會。但願從那昔在、今在、以後永在的 神，和他寶座前的七靈，
John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne,
1:5 並那誠實作見證的、從死裡首先復活、為世上君王元首的耶穌基督，有恩惠、平安歸與你們！他愛我們，用自己的血使我們脫離（有古卷作：洗去）罪惡，
and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the first-born of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood

and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, every one who pierced him; and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

I John, your brother, who share with you in Jesus the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
1:10 當主日，我被聖靈感動，聽見在我後面有大聲音如吹號，說：
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet
1:11 你所看見的當寫在書上，達與以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉鐵非、老底嘉、那七個教會。
saying, "Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Per'gamum and to Thyati'ra and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to La-odice'a."
1:12 我轉過身來，要看是誰發聲與我說話；既轉過來，就看見七個金燈臺。
Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands,
1:13 燈臺中間有一位好像人子，身穿長衣，直垂到腳，胸間束著金帶。
and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden girdle round his breast;
1:14 他的頭與髮皆白，如白羊毛，如雪；眼目如同火焰；
his head and his hair were white as white wool, white as snow; his eyes were like a flame of fire,
1:15 腳好像在爐中煆煉光明的銅；聲音如同眾水的聲音。
his feet were like burnished bronze, refined as in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of many waters;
1:16 他右手拿著七星，從他口中出來一把兩刃的利劍；面貌如同烈日放光。
in his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth issued a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength.
1:17 我一看見，就仆倒在他腳前，像死了一樣。他用右手按著我，說：不要懼怕！我是首先的，我是末後的，
When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand upon me, saying, "Fear not, I am the first and the last,
1:18 又是那存活的；我曾死過，現在又活了，直活到永永遠遠；並且拿著死亡和陰間的鑰匙。
and the living one; I died, and behold I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.

Now write what you see, what is and what is to take place hereafter.
1:20 論到你所看見、在我右手中的七星和七個金燈臺的奧祕，那七星就是七個教會的使者，七燈臺就是七個教會。
As for the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

"To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: `The words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks among the seven golden lampstands.
2:2 我知道你的行為、勞碌、忍耐，也知道你不能容忍惡人。你也曾試驗那自稱為使徒卻不是使徒的，看出他們是假的來。
"`I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear evil men but have tested those who call themselves apostles but are not, and found them to be false;
2:3 你也能忍耐，曾為我的名勞苦，並不乏倦。
I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name's sake, and you have not grown weary.
2:4 然而有一件事我要責備你，就是你把起初的愛心離棄了。
But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first.
2:5 所以，應當回想你是從那裡墜落的，並要悔改，行起初所行的事。你若不悔改，我就臨到你那裡，把你的燈臺從原處挪去。
Remember then from what you have fallen, repent and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.
2:6 然而你還有一件可取的事，就是你恨惡尼哥拉一黨人的行為，這也是我所恨惡的。
Yet this you have, you hate the works of the Nicola'itans, which I also hate.
2:7 聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽！得勝的，我必將 神樂園中生命樹的果子賜給他吃。
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.'
2:8 你要寫信給士每拿教會的使者，說：那首先的、末後的、死過又活的，說：
"And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: `The words of the first and the last, who died and came to life.
2:9 我知道你的患難，你的貧窮（你卻是富足的），也知道那自稱是猶太人所說的毀謗話，其實他們不是猶太人，乃是撒但一會的人。
"`I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich) and the slander of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
2:10 你將要受的苦你不用怕。魔鬼要把你們中間幾個人下在監裡，叫你們被試煉，你們必受患難十日。你務要至死忠心，我就賜給你那生命的冠冕。
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
2:11 聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽！得勝的，必不受第二次死的害。
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who conquers shall not be hurt by the second death.'
2:12 你要寫信給別迦摩教會的使者，說：那有兩刃利劍的，說：
"And to the angel of the church in Per'gamum write: `The words of him who has the sharp two-edged sword.
2:13 我知道你的居所，就是有撒但座位之處；當我忠心的見證人安提帕在你們中間、撒但所住的地方被殺之時，你還堅守我的名，沒有棄絕我的道。
"`I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is; you hold fast my name and you did not deny my faith even in the days of An'tipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
2:14 然而，有幾件事我要責備你：因為在你那裡有人服從了巴蘭的教訓；這巴蘭曾教導巴勒將絆腳石放在以色列人面前，叫他們吃祭偶像之物，行姦淫的事。
But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, that they might eat food sacrificed to idols and practice immorality.
2:15 你那裡也有人照樣服從了尼哥拉一黨人的教訓。
So you also have some who hold the teaching of the Nicola'itans.
2:16 所以，你當悔改；若不悔改，我就快臨到你那裡，用我口中的劍攻擊他們。
Repent then. If not, I will come to you soon and war against them with the sword of my mouth.
2:17 聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽！得勝的，我必將那隱藏的嗎哪賜給他，並賜他一塊白石，石上寫著新名；除了那領受的以外，沒有人能認識。
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone which no one knows except him who receives it.'
2:18 你要寫信給推雅推喇教會的使者，說：那眼目如火焰、腳像光明銅的 神之子說：
"And to the angel of the church in Thyati'ra write: `The words of the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and whose feet are like burnished bronze.
2:19 我知道你的行為、愛心、信心、勤勞、忍耐，又知道你末後所行的善事，比起初所行的更多。
"`I know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first.
2:20 然而，有一件事我要責備你，就是你容讓那自稱是先知的婦人耶洗別教導我的僕人，引誘他們行姦淫，吃祭偶像之物。
But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jez'ebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and beguiling my servants to practice immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
2:21 我曾給她悔改的機會，她卻不肯悔改她的淫行。
I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her immorality.
2:22 看哪，我要叫他病臥在床。那些與他行淫的人，若不悔改所行的，我也要叫他們同受大患難。
Behold, I will throw her on a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her doings;
2:23 我又要殺死她的黨類（原文是兒女），叫眾教會知道，我是那察看人肺腑心腸的，並要照你們的行為報應你們各人。
and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches shall know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you as your works deserve.
2:24 至於你們推雅推喇其餘的人，就是一切不從那教訓、不曉得他們素常所說撒但深奧之理的人，我告訴你們，我不將別的擔子放在你們身上。
But to the rest of you in Thyati'ra, who do not hold this teaching, who have not learned what some call the deep things of Satan, to you I say, I do not lay upon you any other burden;
2:25 但你們已經有的，總要持守，直等到我來。
only hold fast what you have, until I come.
2:26 那得勝又遵守我命令到底的，我要賜給他權柄制伏列國；
He who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, I will give him power over the nations,
2:27 他必用鐵杖轄管（轄管：原文是牧）他們，將他們如同窯戶的瓦器打得粉碎，像我從我父領受的權柄一樣。
and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received power from my Father;
2:28 我又要把晨星賜給他。
and I will give him the morning star.
2:29 聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽！
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'
