W5 2013-07-19 (詩篇123-125)
125:1 （上行之詩。）倚靠耶和華的人好像錫安山，永不動搖。
125:2 眾山怎樣圍繞耶路撒冷，耶和華也照樣圍繞他的百姓，從今時直到永遠。
125:3 惡人的杖不常落在義人的分上，免得義人伸手作惡。
125:4 耶和華啊，求你善待那些為善和心裡正直的人。
125:5 至於那偏行彎曲道路的人，耶和華必使他和作惡的人一同出去受刑。願平安歸於以色列！
默想: 這是一首上行之詩，當眾人一起爬山要登上耶路撒冷時，看著群山，詩人(作者不詳)描寫上帝的慈愛，如同眾山圍繞耶路撒冷一樣地圍繞祂的百姓。上帝保護著我們，叫我們可以得著安全，使我們不被世界、惡者所攻擊。 詩人感受到，他們的處境，雖然有外族的威脅，但是這只是暫時的，上帝不會長久允許祂的百姓受惡人欺壓。上帝必為他們開出一條出路。在詩人的心目中，上帝是保守子民的上帝，祂不讓惡者得勢，也不讓祂的子民受苦。免得他們至終失去信心，而落入以惡報惡的情境中。
題目: 惡人的杖不常落在義人的分上，免得義人伸手作惡。(詩125:3) 你對這節經文有何感想呢？
123:1 （上行之詩。）坐在天上的主啊，我向你舉目。
A Song of degrees. Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
123:2 看哪，僕人的眼睛怎樣望主人的手，使女的眼睛怎樣望主母的手，我們的眼睛也照樣望耶和華─我們的 神，直到他憐憫我們。
Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
123:3 耶和華啊，求你憐憫我們，憐憫我們！因為我們被藐視，已到極處。
Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
123:4 我們被那些安逸人的譏誚和驕傲人的藐視，已到極處。
Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
124:1 （大衛上行之詩。）以色列人要說：若不是耶和華幫助我們，
A Song of degrees of David. If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;
124:2 若不是耶和華幫助我們，當人起來攻擊我們、
If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
124:3 向我們發怒的時候，就把我們活活地吞了。
Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
124:4 那時，波濤必漫過我們，河水必淹沒我們，
Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
124:5 狂傲的水必淹沒我們。
Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
124:6 耶和華是應當稱頌的！他沒有把我們當野食交給他們吞吃（原文是牙齒）。
Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
124:7 我們好像雀鳥，從捕鳥人的網羅裡逃脫；網羅破裂，我們逃脫了。
Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
124:8 我們得幫助，是在乎倚靠造天地之耶和華的名。
Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
125:1 （上行之詩。）倚靠耶和華的人好像錫安山，永不動搖。
A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
125:2 眾山怎樣圍繞耶路撒冷，耶和華也照樣圍繞他的百姓，從今時直到永遠。
As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
125:3 惡人的杖不常落在義人的分上，免得義人伸手作惡。
For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. the wicked: Heb. wickedness
125:4 耶和華啊，求你善待那些為善和心裡正直的人。
Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
125:5 至於那偏行彎曲道路的人，耶和華必使他和作惡的人一同出去受刑。願平安歸於以色列！
As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
