131:1 （大衛上行之詩。）耶和華啊，我的心不狂傲，我的眼不高大；重大和測不透的事，我也不敢行。
131:2 我的心平穩安靜，好像斷過奶的孩子在他母親的懷中；我的心在我裡面真像斷過奶的孩子。
131:3 以色列啊，你當仰望耶和華，從今時直到永遠！

默想: 大衛是以色列人的王，他的身上有許多的責任與權力。他如何當一個王，影響的是整個國家的興衰。這首詩充分表現出大衛在上帝面前的心態。他對上帝說『耶和華啊，我的心不狂傲，我的眼不高大；重大和測不透的事，我也不敢行。」大衛的心態，不是我很行，很厲害，我有把握能夠做好一切的事。而是在上帝的面前謙卑，並且抱著仰望上帝的態度，審慎的行事。這並不是說大衛這個人沒有擔當，缺乏創見或開拓的勇氣，而是他知道，上帝的意念高過人的意念。所以他要禱告，尋求上帝的帶領與引導。
大衛說自己的心是平靜安穩的，就好像斷奶的孩子，在母親的懷中，感到滿足、和平與安靜。大衛不是野心勃勃，渴望成功或名聲。他知道自己要安靜地在上帝的懷中，依靠上帝所加給的力量。對他而言，掌管一個國家，有太多的挑戰，只有全然的仰望耶和華所賜的能力，才能夠真正的成為合神心意的君王。

題目: 詩篇131篇中大衛王說，他的心像斷過奶的孩子。這是怎樣的心情呢？

 

129:1 （上行之詩。）以色列當說：從我幼年以來，敵人屢次苦害我，
A Song of degrees. Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say: Many...: or, Much
129:2 從我幼年以來，敵人屢次苦害我，卻沒有勝了我。
Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me. Many...: or, Much
129:3 如同扶犁的在我背上扶犁而耕，耕的犁溝甚長。
The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.
129:4 耶和華是公義的；他砍斷了惡人的繩索。
The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.
129:5 願恨惡錫安的都蒙羞退後！
Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
129:6 願他們像房頂上的草，未長成而枯乾，
Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:
129:7 收割的不夠一把，捆禾的也不滿懷。
Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.
129:8 過路的也不說：願耶和華所賜的福歸與你們！我們奉耶和華的名給你們祝福！
Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.

130:1 （上行之詩。）耶和華啊，我從深處向你求告！
A Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
130:2 主啊，求你聽我的聲音！願你側耳聽我懇求的聲音！
Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
130:3 主─耶和華啊，你若究察罪孽，誰能站得住呢？
If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
130:4 但在你有赦免之恩，要叫人敬畏你。
But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
130:5 我等候耶和華，我的心等候；我也仰望他的話。
I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
130:6 我的心等候主，勝於守夜的，等候天亮，勝於守夜的，等候天亮。
My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. I say...: or, which watch unto
130:7 以色列啊，你當仰望耶和華！因他有慈愛，有豐盛的救恩。
Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
130:8 他必救贖以色列脫離一切的罪孽。
And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

131:1 （大衛上行之詩。）耶和華啊，我的心不狂傲，我的眼不高大；重大和測不透的事，我也不敢行。
A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me. exercise...: Heb. walk high: Heb. wonderful
131:2 我的心平穩安靜，好像斷過奶的孩子在他母親的懷中；我的心在我裡面真像斷過奶的孩子。
Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child. myself: Heb. my soul
131:3 以色列啊，你當仰望耶和華，從今時直到永遠！
Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever. henceforth: Heb. now
