W4 2013-07-18 (詩篇120-122)
122:1 （大衛上行之詩。）人對我說：我們往耶和華的殿去，我就歡喜。
122:2 耶路撒冷啊，我們的腳站在你的門內。
122:3 耶路撒冷被建造，如同連絡整齊的一座城。
122:4 眾支派，就是耶和華的支派，上那裡去，按以色列的常例（或譯：作以色列的證據）稱讚耶和華的名。
122:5 因為在那裡設立審判的寶座，就是大衛家的寶座。
122:6 你們要為耶路撒冷求平安！耶路撒冷啊，愛你的人必然興旺！
122:7 願你城中平安！願你宮內興旺！
122:8 因我弟兄和同伴的緣故，我要說：願平安在你中間！
122:9 因耶和華─我們 神殿的緣故，我要為你求福！
詩人(傳統認為是大衛)描寫前往耶路撒冷的朝聖者歡歡喜喜的心情。詩人說：「人對我說，我們往耶和華的殿去，我就歡喜。」耶路撒冷是以色列人信仰的象徵，當他們前往聖城朝聖之時，心中滿是渴慕、響往，所以在「上行」之際，路途雖然辛苦，但是心中的歡喜之情是無法形容的。
耶路撒冷不單是宗教的中心，更是以色列人的政治中心，詩人提到，「就是大衛家的寶座」(5)以色列人相信，上帝揀選大衛家來成為他們的領袖，透過這領袖賜福給所有的以色列人。所以 ，詩人為耶路撒冷求祝福，也深信那些愛耶城的人，也必受上帝的祝福。
以色列人愛耶城，事實上是表達了他們甚愛親近上帝。我們也要思想，我們對上帝有無失去那份熱切、積極的心呢？我們相信那些渴慕上帝、喜愛親近上帝的人今天仍然是有福的人。
題目: 當有人說，我們往耶和華的殿去，大衛為什麼會歡喜呢？
120:1 （上行（或作登階，下同）之詩。）我在急難中求告耶和華，他就應允我。
A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
120:2 耶和華啊，求你救我脫離說謊的嘴唇和詭詐的舌頭！
Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
120:3 詭詐的舌頭啊，要給你甚麼呢？要拿甚麼加給你呢？
What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? What shall be given...: or, What shall the deceitful tongue give unto thee? or, what shall is profit thee? done: Heb. added
120:4 就是勇士的利箭和羅騰木（小樹名，松類）的炭火。
Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. Sharp...: or, It is as the sharp arrows of the mighty man, with coals of juniper
120:5 我寄居在米設，住在基達帳棚之中，有禍了！
Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
120:6 我與那恨惡和睦的人許久同住。
My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
120:7 我願和睦，但我發言，他們就要爭戰。
I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war. for peace: or, a man of peace
121:1 （上行之詩。）我要向山舉目；我的幫助從何而來？
A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. I will...: or, Shall I lift up mine eyes to the hills? whence should my help come?
121:2 我的幫助從造天地的耶和華而來。
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
121:3 他必不叫你的腳搖動；保護你的必不打盹！
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
121:4 保護以色列的，也不打盹也不睡覺。
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
121:5 保護你的是耶和華；耶和華在你右邊蔭庇你。
The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
121:6 白日，太陽必不傷你；夜間，月亮必不害你。
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
121:7 耶和華要保護你，免受一切的災害；他要保護你的性命。
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
121:8 你出你入，耶和華要保護你，從今時直到永遠。
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
122:1 （大衛上行之詩。）人對我說：我們往耶和華的殿去，我就歡喜。
A Song of degrees of David. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
122:2 耶路撒冷啊，我們的腳站在你的門內。
Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
122:3 耶路撒冷被建造，如同連絡整齊的一座城。
Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
122:4 眾支派，就是耶和華的支派，上那裡去，按以色列的常例（或譯：作以色列的證據）稱讚耶和華的名。
Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
122:5 因為在那裡設立審判的寶座，就是大衛家的寶座。
For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. are...: Heb. do sit
122:6 你們要為耶路撒冷求平安！耶路撒冷啊，愛你的人必然興旺！
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
122:7 願你城中平安！願你宮內興旺！
Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
122:8 因我弟兄和同伴的緣故，我要說：願平安在你中間！
For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
122:9 因耶和華─我們 神殿的緣故，我要為你求福！
Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
