King Solomon Prayed At The Temple

經文: 歷代志下 7:19-22 「倘若你們轉去丟棄我指示你們的律例誡命，去事奉敬拜別神，我就必將以色列人從我賜給他們的地上拔出根來，並且我為己名所分別為聖的殿也必捨棄不顧，使他在萬民中作笑談，被譏誚。這殿雖然甚高，將來經過的人必驚訝說：『耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢？』人必回答說：『是因此地的人離棄耶和華他們列祖的神，就是領他們出埃及地的神，去親近別神，敬拜事奉他，所以耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。』」
默想: 聖殿再高大美麗，也不能取代我們在日常生活中遵行上帝律例與誡命。聖殿是讓我們可以敬拜禱告上帝的場所，但是我們不能把敬拜禱告上帝僅限制在聖殿之內。我們在聖殿敬拜禱告時，從上帝所領受的啟示與恩典，必須能夠帶回家中與職場，在那裡我們要活出上帝選民的生活見證，如此，我們在聖殿的敬拜禱告才能夠蒙上帝的悅納。這讓我想起當年亞伯與該隱的故事，他們兄弟兩人都築壇並且將自己努力所得獻在壇上成為燔祭給上帝。上帝卻只悅納亞伯所獻上的，不接受該隱所獻上的燔祭。該隱滿臉不高興。耶和華對該隱說，你若行得好，豈不蒙悅納？你若行得不好，罪就伏在你門口，它要戀慕你，你卻要制服它。(創4:7) 求主保守我們，在日常生活中能夠順服遵行上帝的誡命，活出美好的見證，好讓我們在聖殿的敬拜與禱告，也能夠蒙神的悅納。
題目: 所羅門禱告完畢，有「火」從天上下來。對以色列民而言，這是經驗上主從天而下的真實，經驗到上主的同在。試問，上主時常用何種方式，讓你經驗他的同在？你真實體驗到了嗎？
7:1 所羅門祈禱已畢，就有火從天上降下來，燒盡燔祭和別的祭。耶和華的榮光充滿了殿；
When Solomon had ended his prayer, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.
7:2 因耶和華的榮光充滿了耶和華殿，所以祭司不能進殿。
And the priests could not enter the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD's house.
7:3 那火降下、耶和華的榮光在殿上的時候，以色列眾人看見，就在鋪石地俯伏叩拜，稱謝耶和華說：耶和華本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！
When all the children of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the LORD upon the temple, they bowed down with their faces to the earth on the pavement, and worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, "For he is good, for his steadfast love endures for ever."
7:4 王和眾民在耶和華面前獻祭。
Then the king and all the people offered sacrifice before the LORD.
7:5 所羅門王用牛二萬二千，羊十二萬獻祭。這樣，王和眾民為 神的殿行奉獻之禮。
King Solomon offered as a sacrifice twenty-two thousand oxen and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.
7:6 祭司侍立，各供其職；利未人也拿著耶和華的樂器，就是大衛王造出來、藉利未人頌讚耶和華的。（他的慈愛永遠長存！）祭司在眾人面前吹號，以色列人都站立。
The priests stood at their posts; the Levites also, with the instruments for music to the LORD which King David had made for giving thanks to the LORD -- for his steadfast love endures for ever -- whenever David offered praises by their ministry; opposite them the priests sounded trumpets; and all Israel stood.
7:7 所羅門因他所造的銅壇容不下燔祭、素祭，和脂油，便將耶和華殿前院子當中分別為聖，在那裡獻燔祭和平安祭牲的脂油。
And Solomon consecrated the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD; for there he offered the burnt offering and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar Solomon had made could not hold the burnt offering and the cereal offering and the fat.
7:8 那時所羅門和以色列眾人，就是從哈馬口直到埃及小河，所有的以色列人都聚集成為大會，守節七日。
At that time Solomon held the feast for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entrance of Hamath to the Brook of Egypt.
7:9 第八日設立嚴肅會，行奉獻壇的禮七日，守節七日。
And on the eighth day they held a solemn assembly; for they had kept the dedication of the altar seven days and the feast seven days.
7:10 七月二十三日，王遣散眾民；他們因見耶和華向大衛和所羅門與他民以色列所施的恩惠，就都心中喜樂，各歸各家去了。
On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their homes, joyful and glad of heart for the goodness that the LORD had shown to David and to Solomon and to Israel his people.
7:11 所羅門造成了耶和華殿和王宮；在耶和華殿和王宮凡他心中所要做的，都順順利利地做成了。
Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the king's house; all that Solomon had planned to do in the house of the LORD and in his own house he successfully accomplished.
7:12 夜間耶和華向所羅門顯現，對他說：「我已聽了你的禱告，也選擇這地方作為祭祀我的殿宇。
Then the LORD appeared to Solomon in the night and said to him: "I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice.
7:13 我若使天閉塞不下雨，或使蝗蟲吃這地的出產，或使瘟疫流行在我民中，
When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people,
7:14 這稱為我名下的子民，若是自卑、禱告，尋求我的面，轉離他們的惡行，我必從天上垂聽，赦免他們的罪，醫治他們的地。
if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
7:15 我必睜眼看、側耳聽在此處所獻的禱告。
Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place.
7:16 現在我已選擇這殿，分別為聖，使我的名永在其中，我的眼、我的心也必常在那裡。
For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that my name may be there for ever; my eyes and my heart will be there for all time.
7:17 你若在我面前效法你父大衛所行的，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例典章，
And as for you, if you walk before me, as David your father walked, doing according to all that I have commanded you and keeping my statutes and my ordinances,
7:18 我就必堅固你的國位，正如我與你父大衛所立的約，說：『你的子孫必不斷人作以色列的王。』
then I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father, saying, `There shall not fail you a man to rule Israel.'
7:19 「倘若你們轉去丟棄我指示你們的律例誡命，去事奉敬拜別神，
"But if you turn aside and forsake my statutes and my commandments which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them,
7:20 我就必將以色列人從我賜給他們的地上拔出根來，並且我為己名所分別為聖的殿也必捨棄不顧，使他在萬民中作笑談，被譏誚。
then I will pluck you up from the land which I have given you; and this house, which I have consecrated for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.
7:21 這殿雖然甚高，將來經過的人必驚訝說：『耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢？』
And at this house, which is exalted, every one passing by will be astonished, and say, `Why has the LORD done thus to this land and to this house?"
7:22 人必回答說：『是因此地的人離棄耶和華─他們列祖的 神，就是領他們出埃及地的 神，去親近別神，敬拜事奉他，所以耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。』」
Then they will say, `Because they forsook the LORD the God of their fathers who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshiped them and served them; therefore he has brought all this evil upon them'"
