�文: �代志上 17:1-2 大�住在自己�中，�先知拿��：「看哪，我住在香柏木的�中，耶和�的��反在幔子�。」拿��大��：「你可以照你的心意而行，因�神�你同在。」�夜，神的��到拿�，�：「你去告�我�人大�，�耶和�如此�：你不可建造殿宇�我居住。

17:1 大�住在自己�中，�先知拿��：「看哪，我住在香柏木的�中，耶和�的��反在幔子�。」
Now when David dwelt in his house, David said to Nathan the prophet, "Behold, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD is under a tent."
17:2 拿��大��：「你可以照你的心意而行，因� 神�你同在。」
And Nathan said to David, "Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you."
17:3 �夜， 神的��到拿�，�：
But that same night the word of the LORD came to Nathan,
17:4 「你去告�我�人大�，�耶和�如此�：『你不可建造殿宇�我居住。
"Go and tell my servant David, `Thus says the LORD: You shall not build me a house to dwell in.
17:5 自�我�以色列人出埃及，直到今日，我未曾住�殿宇，乃���幕到那�幕，���幕到那�幕。
For I have not dwelt in a house since the day I led up Israel to this day, but I have gone from tent to tent and from dwelling to dwelling.
17:6 凡我同以色列人所走的地方，我何曾向以色列的一�士�，就是我吩咐牧�我民的�：你�何不�我建造香柏木的殿宇呢？』
In all places where I have moved with all Israel, did I speak a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd my people, saying, "Why have you not built me a house of cedar?"'
17:7 �在你要告�我�人大�，���之耶和�如此�：『我�羊圈中�你召�，叫你不再跟�羊群，立你作我民以色列的君。
Now therefore thus shall you say to my servant David, `Thus says the LORD of hosts, I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, that you should be prince over my people Israel;
17:8 你��往哪�去，我常�你同在，剪除你的一切仇�；我必使你得大名，好像世上大大有名的人一�。
and I have been with you wherever you went, and have cut off all your enemies from before you; and I will make for you a name, like the name of the great ones of the earth.
17:9 我必�我民以色列�定一�地方，栽培他�，使他�住自己的地方，不再�移；凶�之子也不像�前�害他�，
And I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be disturbed no more; and violent men shall waste them no more, as formerly,
17:10 �不像我命士�治理我民以色列的�候一�。我必治服你的一切仇�，�且我─耶和���你，必�你建立家室。
from the time that I appointed judges over my people Israel; and I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover I declare to you that the LORD will build you a house.
17:11 你���足�你列祖的�候，我必使你的後裔接�你的位，我也必�定他的�。
When your days are fulfilled to go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.
17:12 他必�我建造殿宇；我必�定他的�位直到永�。
He shall build a house for me, and I will establish his throne for ever.
17:13 我要作他的父，他要作我的子；�不使我的慈���他，像��在你以前的��一�。
I will be his father, and he shall be my son; I will not take my steadfast love from him, as I took it from him who was before you,
17:14 我�要�他永��立在我家�和我��；他的�位也必�定，直到永�。』」
but I will confirm him in my house and in my kingdom for ever and his throne shall be established for ever.'"
17:15 拿�就按�一切�，照�默示告�大�。
In accordance with all these words, and in accordance with all this vision, Nathan spoke to David.
17:16 於是大�王�去，坐在耶和�面前，�：「耶和� 神啊，我是�，我的家算甚�，你竟使我到�地步呢？
Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and said, "Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my house, that thou hast brought me thus far?
17:17 神啊，�在你眼中�看�小，又��你�人的家至於久�。耶和� 神啊，你看�我好像看�高�的人。
And this was a small thing in thy eyes, O God; thou hast also spoken of thy servant's house for a great while to come, and hast shown me future generations, O LORD God!
17:18 你加於�人的尊�，我�有何言可�呢？因�你知道你的�人。
And what more can David say to thee for honoring thy servant? For thou knowest thy servant.
17:19 耶和�啊，你行了�大事，�且�明出�，是因你�人的�故，也是照你的心意。
For thy servant's sake, O LORD, and according to thy own heart, thou hast wrought all this greatness, in making known all these great things.
17:20 耶和�啊，照我�耳中��，�有可比你的，除你以外再� 神。
There is none like thee, O LORD, and there is no God besides thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
17:21 世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢？你 神�埃及救�他�作自己的子民，又在你�出�的民面前行大而可畏的事，�逐列邦人，�出你的大名。
What other nation on earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his people, making for thyself a name for great and terrible things, in driving out nations before thy people whom thou didst redeem from Egypt?
17:22 你使以色列人作你的子民，直到永�；你─耶和�也作他�的 神。
And thou didst make thy people Israel to be thy people for ever; and thou, O LORD, didst become their God.
17:23 耶和�啊，你所���人和�人家的�，求你�定，直到永�，照你所�的而行。
And now, O LORD, let the word which thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as thou hast spoken;
17:24 �你的名永��立，被尊�大，�：『��之耶和�是以色列的 神，是治理以色列的 神。』��，你�人大�的家必在你面前�立。
and thy name will be established and magnified for ever, saying, `The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, is Israel's God,' and the house of thy servant David will be established before thee.
17:25 我的 神啊，因你�示�人�，我必�你建立家室，所以�人大�在你面前祈�。
For thou, my God, hast revealed to thy servant that thou wilt build a house for him; therefore thy servant has found courage to pray before thee.
17:26 耶和�啊，惟有你是 神，你也����福����人。
And now, O LORD, thou art God, and thou hast promised this good thing to thy servant;
17:27 �在你喜��福��人的家，可以永存在你面前。耶和�啊，你已��福，�要�福到永�。」
now therefore may it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee; for what thou, O LORD, hast blessed is blessed for ever."
Now when David dwelt in his house, David said to Nathan the prophet, "Behold, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD is under a tent."
17:2 拿��大��：「你可以照你的心意而行，因� 神�你同在。」
And Nathan said to David, "Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you."
17:3 �夜， 神的��到拿�，�：
But that same night the word of the LORD came to Nathan,
17:4 「你去告�我�人大�，�耶和�如此�：『你不可建造殿宇�我居住。
"Go and tell my servant David, `Thus says the LORD: You shall not build me a house to dwell in.
17:5 自�我�以色列人出埃及，直到今日，我未曾住�殿宇，乃���幕到那�幕，���幕到那�幕。
For I have not dwelt in a house since the day I led up Israel to this day, but I have gone from tent to tent and from dwelling to dwelling.
