King David Prepared For Temple Construction

經文: 歷代志上 22:1-4 大衛吩咐聚集住以色列地的外邦人，從其中派石匠鑿石頭，要建造神的殿。大衛預備許多鐵做門上的釘子和鉤子，又預備許多銅，多得無法可稱；又預備無數的香柏木，因為西頓人和推羅人給大衛運了許多香柏木來。大衛說：「我兒子所羅門還年幼嬌嫩，要為耶和華建造的殿宇必須高大輝煌，使名譽榮耀傳遍萬國；所以我要為殿預備材料。」於是，大衛在未死之先預備的材料甚多。
默想: 根據本段經文，大衛王想要為耶和華建造聖殿，上帝卻不允許。因為上帝認為大衛王手上殺人太多，上帝盼望是要由所羅門王來建殿，所羅門王的意思是太平，也就是和平之君王。大衛王雖然無法親自為耶和華建造殿宇，卻替所羅門王預備許多建殿所需要的建材與外勞。這讓我想到和平教會六十幾年來，由於土地被國民黨政權收歸國有的日產，因此無法原地重建聖殿。但是和平教會的兄姊們卻一直為建堂基金努力奉獻，並用建堂基金購買六棟房屋。因此，當李登輝總統在位時，終於訂下國有財產贈與寺廟教堂辦法而獲得解決。我們終於能夠進行建堂聖工。我們非常感謝歷年來和平兄姊對於建堂的努力奉獻。幫助我們今天得以完成建堂的聖工，感謝上帝的恩典。
題目: 「大衛未死之先預備的材料甚多。」但上主卻是揀選所羅門建殿，試問，當上帝要求你如大衛一般，為人作嫁衣時，你會如何回應？
22:1 大衛說：「這就是耶和華 神的殿，為以色列人獻燔祭的壇。」
Then David said, "Here shall be the house of the LORD God and here the altar of burnt offering for Israel."
22:2 大衛吩咐聚集住以色列地的外邦人，從其中派石匠鑿石頭，要建造 神的殿。
David commanded to gather together the aliens who were in the land of Israel, and he set stonecutters to prepare dressed stones for building the house of God.
22:3 大衛預備許多鐵做門上的釘子和鉤子，又預備許多銅，多得無法可稱；
David also provided great stores of iron for nails for the doors of the gates and for clamps, as well as bronze in quantities beyond weighing,
22:4 又預備無數的香柏木，因為西頓人和泰爾人給大衛運了許多香柏木來。
and cedar timbers without number; for the Sido'nians and Tyrians brought great quantities of cedar to David.
22:5 大衛說：「我兒子所羅門還年幼嬌嫩，要為耶和華建造的殿宇必須高大輝煌，使名譽榮耀傳遍萬國；所以我要為殿預備材料。」於是，大衛在未死之先預備的材料甚多。
For David said, "Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and glory throughout all lands; I will therefore make preparation for it." So David provided materials in great quantity before his death.
22:6 大衛召了他兒子所羅門來，囑咐他給耶和華─以色列的 神建造殿宇，
Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build a house for the LORD, the God of Israel.
22:7 對所羅門說：「我兒啊，我心裡本想為耶和華─我 神的名建造殿宇，
David said to Solomon, "My son, I had it in my heart to build a house to the name of the LORD my God.
22:8 只是耶和華的話臨到我說：『你流了多人的血，打了多次大仗，你不可為我的名建造殿宇，因為你在我眼前使多人的血流在地上。
But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, `You have shed much blood and have waged great wars; you shall not build a house to my name, because you have shed so much blood before me upon the earth.
22:9 你要生一個兒子，他必作太平的人；我必使他安靜，不被四圍的仇敵擾亂。他的名要叫所羅門【即太平之意】。他在位的日子，我必使以色列人平安康泰。
Behold, a son shall be born to you; he shall be a man of peace. I will give him peace from all his enemies round about; for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel in his days.
22:10 他必為我的名建造殿宇。他要作我的子；我要作他的父。他作以色列王；我必堅定他的國位，直到永遠。』
He shall build a house for my name. He shall be my son, and I will be his father, and I will establish his royal throne in Israel for ever.'
22:11 我兒啊，現今願耶和華與你同在，使你亨通，照他指著你說的話，建造耶和華─你 神的殿。
Now, my son, the LORD be with you, so that you may succeed in building the house of the LORD your God, as he has spoken concerning you.
22:12 但願耶和華賜你聰明智慧，好治理以色列國，遵行耶和華─你 神的律法。
Only, may the LORD grant you discretion and understanding, that when he gives you charge over Israel you may keep the law of the LORD your God.
22:13 你若謹守遵行耶和華藉摩西吩咐以色列的律例典章，就得亨通。你當剛強壯膽，不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。
Then you will prosper if you are careful to observe the statutes and the ordinances which the LORD commanded Moses for Israel. Be strong, and of good courage. Fear not; be not dismayed.
22:14 我在困難之中為耶和華的殿預備了金子十萬他連得，銀子一百萬他連得，銅和鐵多得無法可稱；我也預備了木頭、石頭，你還可以增添。
With great pains I have provided for the house of the LORD a hundred thousand talents of gold, a million talents of silver, and bronze and iron beyond weighing, for there is so much of it; timber and stone too I have provided. To these you must add.
22:15 你有許多匠人，就是石匠、木匠，和一切能做各樣工的巧匠，
You have an abundance of workmen: stonecutters, masons, carpenters, and all kinds of craftsmen without number, skilled in working
22:16 並有無數的金銀銅鐵。你當起來辦事，願耶和華與你同在。」
gold, silver, bronze, and iron. Arise and be doing! The LORD be with you!"
22:17 大衛又吩咐以色列的眾首領幫助他兒子所羅門，說：
David also commanded all the leaders of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,
22:18 「耶和華─你們的 神不是與你們同在嗎？不是叫你們四圍都平安嗎？因他已將這地的居民交在我手中，這地就在耶和華與他百姓面前制伏了。
"Is not the LORD your God with you? And has he not given you peace on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD and his people.
22:19 現在你們應當立定心意，尋求耶和華─你們的 神；也當起來建造耶和華 神的聖所，好將耶和華的約櫃和供奉 神的聖器皿都搬進為耶和華名建造的殿裡。」
Now set your mind and heart to seek the LORD your God. Arise and build the sanctuary of the LORD God, so that the ark of the covenant of the LORD and the holy vessels of God may be brought into a house built for the name of the LORD."
Then David said, "Here shall be the house of the LORD God and here the altar of burnt offering for Israel."
22:2 大衛吩咐聚集住以色列地的外邦人，從其中派石匠鑿石頭，要建造 神的殿。
David commanded to gather together the aliens who were in the land of Israel, and he set stonecutters to prepare dressed stones for building the house of God.
22:3 大衛預備許多鐵做門上的釘子和鉤子，又預備許多銅，多得無法可稱；

22:7 對所羅門說：「我兒啊，我心裡本想為耶和華─我 神的名建造殿宇，
David said to Solomon, "My son, I had it in my heart to build a house to the name of the LORD my God.
22:8 只是耶和華的話臨到我說：『你流了多人的血，打了多次大仗，你不可為我的名建造殿宇，因為你在我眼前使多人的血流在地上。
But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, `You have shed much blood and have waged great wars; you shall not build a house to my name, because you have shed so much blood before me upon the earth.

David also commanded all the leaders of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,
22:18 「耶和華─你們的 神不是與你們同在嗎？不是叫你們四圍都平安嗎？因他已將這地的居民交在我手中，這地就在耶和華與他百姓面前制伏了。
"Is not the LORD your God with you? And has he not given you peace on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD and his people.
