Cherubims Guarding The Ark
全新四年樂活讀經
經文: 歷代志下 5:10 約櫃裡惟有兩塊石版，就是以色列人出埃及後，耶和華與他們立約的時候，摩西在何烈山所放的。除此以外，並無別物。
默想: 當所羅門王將約櫃從大衛之城移入聖殿時，約櫃裡面，只剩下兩塊石版，也就是耶和華在西乃山上，親手刻下十誡，交給摩西的兩塊石版，也就是耶和華命令以色列人要遵行與禁戒的敬拜與生活規範。根據希伯來書的記載，當年耶和華吩咐摩西，要放進去約櫃裡面的，除了這兩塊石版之外，還包括亞倫發過芽的杖，以及盛嗎哪的金碗。我們不知道，在約櫃遷移搬運的過程中，亞倫的杖與嗎哪金碗是如何從約櫃消失的。嗎哪代表耶和華對以色列人的供應，亞倫的杖代表耶和華對以色列人的主權。但願在我們的信仰當中，一直都存在著我們對上帝供應的感恩，對上帝管理主權的順服，以及對上帝啟示命令的遵行。
題目: 約櫃進聖殿後，雲彩充滿聖殿，閃耀著上主的光輝，以致祭司無法繼續主持禮拜。試想，上主為何在此刻顯現極閃耀的光輝，這是向以色列民表達什麼？
5:1 所羅門做完了耶和華殿的一切工，就把他父大衛分別為聖的金銀和器皿都帶來，放在 神殿的府庫裡。
Thus all the work that Solomon did for the house of the LORD was finished. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated, and stored the silver, the gold, and all the vessels in the treasuries of the house of God.
5:2 那時，所羅門將以色列的長老、各支派的首領，並以色列的族長招聚到耶路撒冷，要把耶和華的約櫃從大衛城─就是錫安─運上來。
Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers' houses of the people of Israel, in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.
5:3 於是以色列眾人在七月節前都聚集到王那裡。
And all the men of Israel assembled before the king at the feast which is in the seventh month.
5:4 以色列眾長老來到，利未人便抬起約櫃。
And all the elders of Israel came, and the Levites took up the ark.
5:5 祭司利未人將約櫃運上來，又將會幕和會幕的一切聖器具都帶上來。
And they brought up the ark, the tent of meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the tent; the priests and the Levites brought them up.
5:6 所羅門王和聚集到他那裡的以色列全會眾都在約櫃前獻牛羊為祭，多得不可勝數。
And King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel, who had assembled before him, were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and oxen that they could not be counted or numbered.
5:7 祭司將耶和華的約櫃抬進內殿，就是至聖所，放在兩個基路伯的翅膀底下。
So the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its place, in the inner sanctuary of the house, in the most holy place, underneath the wings of the cherubim.
5:8 基路伯張著翅膀在約櫃之上，遮掩約櫃和抬櫃的槓。
For the cherubim spread out their wings over the place of the ark, so that the cherubim made a covering above the ark and its poles.
5:9 這杠甚長，槓頭在內殿前可以看見，在殿外卻不能看見，直到如今還在那裡。
And the poles were so long that the ends of the poles were seen from the holy place before the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside; and they are there to this day.
5:10 約櫃裡惟有兩塊石版，就是以色列人出埃及後，耶和華與他們立約的時候，摩西在何烈山所放的。除此以外，並無別物。
There was nothing in the ark except the two tables which Moses put there at Horeb, where the LORD made a covenant with the people of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
5:11 當時，在那裡所有的祭司都已自潔，並不分班供職。
Now when the priests came out of the holy place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without regard to their divisions;
5:12 他們出聖所的時候，歌唱的利未人亞薩、希幔、耶杜頓，和他們的眾子眾弟兄都穿細麻布衣服，站在壇的東邊，敲鈸、鼓瑟、彈琴，同著他們有一百二十個祭司吹號。
and all the Levitical singers, Asaph, Heman, and Jedu'thun, their sons and kinsmen, arrayed in fine linen, with cymbals, harps, and lyres, stood east of the altar with a hundred and twenty priests who were trumpeters;
5:13 吹號的、歌唱的都一齊發聲，聲合為一，讚美感謝耶和華。吹號、敲鈸，用各種樂器，揚聲讚美耶和華說：耶和華本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！那時，耶和華的殿有雲充滿，
and it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the LORD), and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the LORD, "For he is good, for his steadfast love endures for ever," the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud,
5:14 甚至祭司不能站立供職，因為耶和華的榮光充滿了 神的殿。
so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.
Thus all the work that Solomon did for the house of the LORD was finished. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated, and stored the silver, the gold, and all the vessels in the treasuries of the house of God.
