經文: 撒母耳記上 10:18-21 對他們說：「耶和華以色列的神如此說：『我領你們以色列人出埃及，救你們脫離埃及人的手，又救你們脫離欺壓你們各國之人的手。』你們今日卻厭棄了救你們脫離一切災難的神，說：『求你立一個王治理我們。』現在你們應當按著支派、宗族都站在耶和華面前。」於是，撒母耳使以色列眾支派近前來掣籤，就掣出便雅憫支派來；又使便雅憫支派按著宗族近前來，就掣出瑪特利族，從其中又掣出基士的兒子掃羅。
默想: 雖然耶和華知道以色列人要求撒母耳為他們立一位君王來帶領他們，是因為他們厭棄繼續被耶和華帶領與統治。但是從本段經文我們看見，耶和華還是很小心的安排各種兆頭、屬靈經歷與靈命更新來預備掃羅，又經由撒母耳的私下膏抹以及公開摯籤來當眾抽出掃羅，來讓以色列人知道，掃羅是耶和華為了回應以色列人叛逆性要求，所揀選來成為以色列的首任君王。上帝的大愛與寬容，讓他願意順應以色列人的情況來繼續帶領以色列人。求主不管我的屬靈情況如何，還是一生繼續引領我。
題目: 撒母耳膏立掃羅後，上帝賜給他一顆新心，試問你曾領受從上主所賞賜的「新的心」，而為上主活出「新生命」嗎？
10:1 撒母耳拿瓶膏油倒在掃羅的頭上，與他親嘴，說：「這不是耶和華膏你作他產業的君嗎？
Then Samuel took a vial of oil and poured it on his head, and kissed him and said, "Has not the LORD anointed you to be prince over his people Israel? And you shall reign over the people of the LORD and you will save them from the hand of their enemies round about. And this shall be the sign to you that the LORD has anointed you to be prince over his heritage.
10:2 你今日與我離別之後，在便雅憫境內的泄撒，靠近拉結的墳墓，要遇見兩個人。他們必對你說：『你去找的那幾頭驢已經找著了。現在你父親不為驢掛心，反為你擔憂，說：我為兒子怎麼才好呢？』
When you depart from me today you will meet two men by Rachel's tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah, and they will say to you, `The asses which you went to seek are found, and now your father has ceased to care about the asses and is anxious about you, saying, "What shall I do about my son?"'
10:3 你從那裡往前行，到了他泊的橡樹那裡，必遇見三個往伯特利去拜 神的人：一個帶著三隻山羊羔，一個帶著三個餅，一個帶著一皮袋酒。
Then you shall go on from there further and come to the oak of Tabor; three men going up to God at Bethel will meet you there, one carrying three kids, another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a skin of wine.
10:4 他們必問你安，給你兩個餅，你就從他們手中接過來。
And they will greet you and give you two loaves of bread, which you shall accept from their hand.
10:5 此後你到 神的山，在那裡有非利士人的防兵。你到了城的時候，必遇見一班先知從邱壇下來，前面有鼓瑟的、擊鼓的、吹笛的、彈琴的，他們都受感說話。
After that you shall come to Gib'e-ath-elo'him, where there is a garrison of the Philistines; and there, as you come to the city, you will meet a band of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and lyre before them, prophesying.
10:6 耶和華的靈必大大感動你，你就與他們一同受感說話；你要變為新人。
Then the spirit of the LORD will come mightily upon you, and you shall prophesy with them and be turned into another man.
10:7 這兆頭臨到你，你就可以趁時而做，因為 神與你同在。
Now when these signs meet you, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.
10:8 你當在我以先下到吉甲，我也必下到那裡獻燔祭和平安祭。你要等候七日，等我到了那裡，指示你當行的事。」
And you shall go down before me to Gilgal; and behold, I am coming to you to offer burnt offerings and to sacrifice peace offerings. Seven days you shall wait, until I come to you and show you what you shall do."
10:9 掃羅轉身離別撒母耳， 神就賜他一個新心。當日這一切兆頭都應驗了。
When he turned his back to leave Samuel, God gave him another heart; and all these signs came to pass that day.
10:10 掃羅到了那山，有一班先知遇見他， 神的靈大大感動他，他就在先知中受感說話。
When they came to Gib'e-ah, behold, a band of prophets met him; and the spirit of God came mightily upon him, and he prophesied among them.
10:11 素來認識掃羅的，看見他和先知一同受感說話，就彼此說：「基士的兒子遇見甚麼了？掃羅也列在先知中嗎？」
And when all who knew him before saw how he prophesied with the prophets, the people said to one another, "What has come over the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?"
10:12 那地方有一個人說：「這些人的父親是誰呢？」此後有句俗語說：「掃羅也列在先知中嗎？」
And a man of the place answered, "And who is their father?" Therefore it became a proverb, "Is Saul also among the prophets?"
10:13 掃羅受感說話已畢，就上邱壇去了。
When he had finished prophesying, he came to the high place.
10:14 掃羅的叔叔問掃羅和他僕人說：「你們往哪裡去了？」回答說：「找驢去了。我們見沒有驢，就到了撒母耳那裡。」
Saul's uncle said to him and to his servant, "Where did you go?" And he said, "To seek the asses; and when we saw they were not to be found, we went to Samuel."
10:15 掃羅的叔叔說：「請將撒母耳向你們所說的話告訴我。」
And Saul's uncle said, "Pray, tell me what Samuel said to you."
10:16 掃羅對他叔叔說：「他明明地告訴我們驢已經找著了。」至於撒母耳所說的國事，掃羅卻沒有告訴叔叔。
And Saul said to his uncle, "He told us plainly that the asses had been found." But about the matter of the kingdom, of which Samuel had spoken, he did not tell him anything.
10:17 撒母耳將百姓招聚到米斯巴耶和華那裡，
Now Samuel called the people together to the LORD at Mizpah;
10:18 對他們說：「耶和華─以色列的 神如此說：『我領你們以色列人出埃及，救你們脫離埃及人的手，又救你們脫離欺壓你們各國之人的手。』
and he said to the people of Israel, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, `I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and I delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of all the kingdoms that were oppressing you.'
10:19 你們今日卻厭棄了救你們脫離一切災難的 神，說：『求你立一個王治理我們。』現在你們應當按著支派、宗族都站在耶和華面前。」
But you have this day rejected your God, who saves you from all your calamities and your distresses; and you have said, `No! but set a king over us.' Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes and by your thousands."
10:20 於是，撒母耳使以色列眾支派近前來掣籤，就掣出便雅憫支派來；
Then Samuel brought all the tribes of Israel near, and the tribe of Benjamin was taken by lot.
10:21 又使便雅憫支派按著宗族近前來，就掣出瑪特利族，從其中又掣出基士的兒子掃羅。眾人尋找他卻尋不著，
He brought the tribe of Benjamin near by its families, and the family of the Matrites was taken by lot; finally he brought the family of the Matrites near man by man, and Saul the son of Kish was taken by lot. But when they sought him, he could not be found.
10:22 就問耶和華說：「那人到這裡來了沒有？」耶和華說：「他藏在器具中了。」
So they inquired again of the LORD, "Did the man come hither?" and the LORD said, "Behold, he has hidden himself among the baggage."
10:23 眾人就跑去從那裡領出他來。他站在百姓中間，身體比眾民高過一頭。
Then they ran and fetched him from there; and when he stood among the people, he was taller than any of the people from his shoulders upward.
10:24 撒母耳對眾民說：「你們看耶和華所揀選的人，眾民中有可比他的嗎？」眾民就大聲歡呼說：「願王萬歲！」
And Samuel said to all the people, "Do you see him whom the LORD has chosen? There is none like him among all the people." And all the people shouted, "Long live the king!"
10:25 撒母耳將國法對百姓說明，又記在書上，放在耶和華面前，然後遣散眾民，各回各家去了。
Then Samuel told the people the rights and duties of the kingship; and he wrote them in a book and laid it up before the LORD. Then Samuel sent all the people away, each one to his home.
10:26 掃羅往基比亞回家去，有 神感動的一群人跟隨他。
Saul also went to his home at Gib'e-ah, and with him went men of valor whose hearts God had touched.
10:27 但有些匪徒說：「這人怎能救我們呢？」就藐視他，沒有送他禮物；掃羅卻不理會。
But some worthless fellows said, "How can this man save us?" And they despised him, and brought him no present. But he held his peace.
Then Samuel took a vial of oil and poured it on his head, and kissed him and said, "Has not the LORD anointed you to be prince over his people Israel? 「耶和華的靈必大大感動你，你就與他們一同受感說話；你要變為新人」。（撒母耳記上 10:6）
回覆刪除「掃羅轉身離別撒母耳，神就賜他一個新心。當日這一切兆頭都應驗了」。（撒母耳記上 10:9）
在這段經文裡，我們看到神回應總以色列長老們的請求，要使用掃羅，立他作以色列的王；神的靈感動掃羅，要他變為「新人」（אַחֵר [’acher /akh•air/] -- be changed into another man/ be changed into a different person.) （6節），賜給他一個「新心」（, לֵב קָמָי [leb /labe/] --- God changed his heart / inmost person）（9節）。
可見神要要使用一個人，必須改變這個人的inmost person /inner mind (他的內心)，讓他的心思意念完全的改變，把以前不好的念頭，自私自利，以自己為中心的念頭，完全的除去，接著從上頭來的靈來改變他，讓他成為一個新照的人（不像以往的舊人），使他靠著主活出新的生命，來服事神，服事教會，服事弟兄姐妹。
求主幫助我們，常參親近主，讓真理的聖靈，常常住在我們心中，常與我們住，與神同行，有基督的樣式，為上主活出「新生命」，讓我們周遭到朋友們，因著我們的改變，有復活的生命，有見證，一起在主理同被照就，同蒙主恩。
