W4 2013-05-30 (詩篇57-59)
59:1 （掃羅打發人窺探大衛的房屋，要殺他。那時，大衛作這金詩，交與伶長。調用休要毀壞。）我的 神啊，求你救我脫離仇敵，把我安置在高處，得脫那些起來攻擊我的人。
59:2 求你救我脫離作孽的人和喜愛流人血的人！
59:3 因為，他們埋伏要害我的命；有能力的人聚集來攻擊我。耶和華啊，這不是為我的過犯，也不是為我的罪愆。
59:4 我雖然無過，他們預備整齊，跑來攻擊我。求你興起鑒察，幫助我！
59:5 萬軍之 神─耶和華以色列的 神啊！求你興起，懲治萬邦！不要憐憫行詭詐的惡人！（細拉）
59:6 他們晚上轉回，叫號如狗，圍城繞行。
59:7 他們口中噴吐惡言，嘴裡有刀；他們說：有誰聽見？
59:8 但你─耶和華必笑話他們；你要嗤笑萬邦。
59:9 我的力量啊，我必仰望你，因為 神是我的高臺。
59:10 我的 神要以慈愛迎接我； 神要叫我看見我仇敵遭報。
59:11 不要殺他們，恐怕我的民忘記。主啊，你是我們的盾牌；求你用你的能力使他們四散，且降為卑。
59:12 因他們口中的罪和嘴裡的言語，並咒罵虛謊的話，願他們在驕傲之中被纏住了。
59:13 求你發怒，使他們消滅，以致歸於無有，叫他們知道 神在雅各中間掌權，直到地極。（細拉）
59:14 到了晚上，任憑他們轉回；任憑他們叫號如狗，圍城繞行。
59:15 他們必走來走去，尋找食物，若不得飽就終夜在外。
59:16 但我要歌頌你的力量，早晨要高唱你的慈愛；因為你作過我的高臺，在我急難的日子作過我的避難所。
59:17 我的力量啊，我要歌頌你；因為 神是我的高臺，是賜恩與我的 神。
默想: 傳統上認為這篇詩篇是在描述掃羅謀害大衛之際，大衛情急中向上帝的禱告。我們看到這首詩，大衛形容掃羅是「作孽的人」、「喜愛流人血的人」，他們「埋伏要害我的命」「聚集起來攻擊我」。又形容他們「叫號如狗」「口中噴吐惡言，嘴�有刀」。這些話語，句句都是大衛在上帝的面前有力的控訴掃羅。
與我們印象中不同的是，大衛不是很尊敬掃羅嗎？稱他是上帝的受膏者，所以大衛不忍下手攻擊他。在此我們看見的是，大衛將他的愁苦交給上帝，他內心中的委曲、怨恨乃是向上帝陳明，而不是向掃羅發洩。這也是一個值得我們學習的功課，許多時候，我們將心中的不滿、憤恨向我們週遭的人發洩，而不是帶到上帝的面前，其結果就是形成一次又一次的衝突，關係的破壞。大衛所做的提醒我們一件事，將我們的情緒交給上帝，上帝也是聽人發怨言的上帝哦！在我們向上帝發怨言之時，有可能我們的情緒、眼光就跟著改變，如同大衛的詩最後以歌頌上帝的慈愛為結束，而不是以發洩怒氣為結束。
題目: 詩篇五十九篇中，大衛如何描述他的敵人，你對此有何感想呢？
57:1 （大衛逃避掃羅，藏在洞裡。那時，他作這金詩，交與伶長。調用休要毀壞。） 神啊，求你憐憫我，憐憫我！因為我的心投靠你。我要投靠在你翅膀的蔭下，等到災害過去。
To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave. Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. 57:2 我要求告至高的 神，就是為我成全諸事的 神。
I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.
57:3 那要吞我的人辱罵我的時候， 神從天上必施恩救我，也必向我發出慈愛和誠實。
He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth. from the...: or, he reproacheth him that
57:4 我的性命在獅子中間；我躺臥在性如烈火的世人當中。他們的牙齒是槍、箭；他們的舌頭是快刀。
My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
57:5 神啊，願你崇高過於諸天！願你的榮耀高過全地！
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
57:6 他們為我的腳設下網羅，壓制我的心；他們在我面前挖了坑，自己反掉在其中。（細拉）
They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves . Selah.
57:7 神啊，我心堅定，我心堅定；我要唱詩，我要歌頌！
My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. fixed: or, prepared
57:8 我的靈（原文是榮耀）啊，你當醒起！琴瑟啊，你們當醒起！我自己要極早醒起！
Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
57:9 主啊，我要在萬民中稱謝你，在列邦中歌頌你！
I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations.
57:10 因為，你的慈愛高及諸天；你的誠實達到穹蒼。
For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.
57:11 神啊，願你崇高過於諸天！願你的榮耀高過全地！
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.
58:1 （大衛的金詩，交與伶長。調用休要毀壞。）世人哪，你們默然不語，真合公義嗎？施行審判，豈按正直嗎？
To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David. Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men? Altaschith...: or, Destroy not Michtam: or, A golden Psalm
58:2 不然！你們是心中作惡；你們在地上秤出你們手所行的強暴。
Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
58:3 惡人一出母胎就與 神疏遠，一離母腹便走錯路，說謊話。
The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. as soon...: Heb. from the belly
58:4 他們的毒氣好像蛇的毒氣；他們好像塞耳的聾虺，
Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear; like the poison: Heb. according to the likeness, etc adder: or, asp
58:5 不聽行法術的聲音，雖用極靈的咒語也是不聽。
Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely. charming...: or, be the charmer never so cunning
58:6 神啊，求你敲碎他們口中的牙；耶和華啊，求你敲掉少壯獅子的大牙！
Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.
58:7 願他們消滅，如急流的水一般；他們瞅準射箭的時候，願箭頭彷彿砍斷。
Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
58:8 願他們像蝸牛消化過去，又像婦人墜落未見天日的胎。
As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
58:9 你們用荊棘燒火，鍋還未熱，他要用旋風把青的和燒著的一齊颳去。
Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath. both...: Heb. as living as wrath
58:10 義人見仇敵遭報就歡喜，要在惡人的血中洗腳。
The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
58:11 因此，人必說：義人誠然有善報；在地上果有施行判斷的 神！
So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth. a reward...: Heb. fruit of the, etc

59:2 求你救我脫離作孽的人和喜愛流人血的人！
Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
59:3 因為，他們埋伏要害我的命；有能力的人聚集來攻擊我。耶和華啊，這不是為我的過犯，也不是為我的罪愆。
For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.
59:4 我雖然無過，他們預備整齊，跑來攻擊我。求你興起鑒察，幫助我！
They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold. help: Heb. meet
59:5 萬軍之 神─耶和華以色列的 神啊！求你興起，懲治萬邦！不要憐憫行詭詐的惡人！（細拉）
Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.
59:6 他們晚上轉回，叫號如狗，圍城繞行。
They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
59:7 他們口中噴吐惡言，嘴裡有刀；他們說：有誰聽見？
Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they , doth hear?
59:8 但你─耶和華必笑話他們；你要嗤笑萬邦。
But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
59:9 我的力量啊，我必仰望你，因為 神是我的高臺。
Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence. defence: Heb. high place
59:10 我的 神要以慈愛迎接我； 神要叫我看見我仇敵遭報。
The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies. enemies: Heb. observers
59:11 不要殺他們，恐怕我的民忘記。主啊，你是我們的盾牌；求你用你的能力使他們四散，且降為卑。
Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.
59:12 因他們口中的罪和嘴裡的言語，並咒罵虛謊的話，願他們在驕傲之中被纏住了。
For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
59:13 求你發怒，使他們消滅，以致歸於無有，叫他們知道 神在雅各中間掌權，直到地極。（細拉）
Consume them in wrath, consume them , that they may not be : and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
59:14 到了晚上，任憑他們轉回；任憑他們叫號如狗，圍城繞行。
And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
59:15 他們必走來走去，尋找食物，若不得飽就終夜在外。
Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied. for meat: Heb. to eat and grudge...: or, if they be not satisfied, then they will stay all night
59:16 但我要歌頌你的力量，早晨要高唱你的慈愛；因為你作過我的高臺，在我急難的日子作過我的避難所。
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
59:17 我的力量啊，我要歌頌你；因為 神是我的高臺，是賜恩與我的 神。
Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
