W1 2013-06-17 (詩篇83-84)
84:1 （可拉後裔的詩，交與伶長。用迦特樂器。）萬軍之耶和華啊，你的居所何等可愛！
84:2 我羨慕渴想耶和華的院宇；我的心腸，我的肉體向永生 神呼籲（或譯：歡呼）。
84:3 萬軍之耶和華─我的王，我的 神啊，在你祭壇那裡，麻雀為自己找著房屋，燕子為自己找著菢雛之窩。
84:4 如此住在你殿中的便為有福！他們仍要讚美你。（細拉）
84:5 靠你有力量、心中想往錫安大道的，這人便為有福！
84:6 他們經過流淚谷，叫這谷變為泉源之地；並有秋雨之福蓋滿了全谷。
84:7 他們行走，力上加力，各人到錫安朝見 神。
84:8 耶和華─萬軍之 神啊，求你聽我的禱告！雅各的 神啊，求你留心聽！（細拉）
84:9 神啊，你是我們的盾牌；求你垂顧觀看你受膏者的面！
84:10 在你的院宇住一日，勝似在別處住千日；寧可在我 神殿中看門，不願住在惡人的帳棚裡。
84:11 因為耶和華─ 神是日頭，是盾牌，要賜下恩惠和榮耀。他未嘗留下一樣好處不給那些行動正直的人。
84:12 萬軍之耶和華啊，倚靠你的人便為有福！
默想: 詩人對上帝的殿充滿渴慕，或許他過去的經驗中，曾經有一段時間不能來到上帝的殿中敬拜，而那時正是他生命中最艱難的曠野。面對過往顛沛流離，饑渴遠離神的情境，現在他能夠來到上帝的殿中敬拜親敬神時，內心充滿了感慨，就好像遊子歸家一樣，詩人從他的詩流露出對上帝聖所的愛慕。
在我們的生命中，也會遇到不同的挫折、困難，若我們的盼望、渴望在於神，因著上帝的施恩、憐憫，我們得以通過那些苦難。那麼，當我們再次得以來到上帝面前敬拜時，我們也會感受到，得以親近上帝，敬拜上帝的喜樂。
題目: 詩人亞薩在詩篇八十四篇描述他對親近耶和華的渴慕。你對此有何感想呢？
83:1 （亞薩的詩歌。） 神啊，求你不要靜默！ 神啊，求你不要閉口，也不要不作聲！
A Song or Psalm of Asaph. Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. of Asaph: or, for Asaph
83:2 因為你的仇敵喧嚷，恨你的抬起頭來。
For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
83:3 他們同謀奸詐要害你的百姓，彼此商議要害你所隱藏的人。
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
83:4 他們說：來吧，我們將他們剪滅，使他們不再成國！使以色列的名不再被人記念！
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
83:5 他們同心商議，彼此結盟，要抵擋你，
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: consent: Heb. heart
83:6 就是住帳棚的以東人和以實瑪利人，摩押和夏甲人，
The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
83:7 迦巴勒、亞捫，和亞瑪力、非利士並泰爾的居民。
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
83:8 亞述也與他們連合；他們作羅得子孫的幫手。（細拉）
Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah. holpen: Heb. been an arm to
83:9 求你待他們，如待米甸，如在基順河待西西拉和耶賓一樣。
Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
83:10 他們在隱•多珥滅亡，成了地上的糞土。
Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
83:11 求你叫他們的首領像俄立和西伊伯，叫他們的王子都像西巴和撒慕拿。
Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
83:12 他們說：我們要得 神的住處，作為自己的產業。
Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
83:13 我的 神啊，求你叫他們像旋風的塵土，像風前的碎秸。
O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
83:14 火怎樣焚燒樹林，火焰怎樣燒著山嶺，
As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
83:15 求你也照樣用狂風追趕他們，用暴雨恐嚇他們。
So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
83:16 願你使他們滿面羞恥，好叫他們尋求你─耶和華的名！
Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
83:17 願他們永遠羞愧驚惶！願他們慚愧滅亡！
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
83:18 使他們知道：惟獨你─名為耶和華的─是全地以上的至高者！
That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts! for the sons: or, of the sons
84:2 我羨慕渴想耶和華的院宇；我的心腸，我的肉體向永生 神呼籲（或譯：歡呼）。
My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
84:3 萬軍之耶和華─我的王，我的 神啊，在你祭壇那裡，麻雀為自己找著房屋，燕子為自己找著菢雛之窩。
Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
84:4 如此住在你殿中的便為有福！他們仍要讚美你。（細拉）
Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.
84:5 靠你有力量、心中想往錫安大道的，這人便為有福！
Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them .
84:6 他們經過流淚谷，叫這谷變為泉源之地；並有秋雨之福蓋滿了全谷。
Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. Baca...: or, mulberry trees make him a well, etc filleth: Heb. covereth
84:7 他們行走，力上加力，各人到錫安朝見 神。
They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. strength to...: or, company to company
84:8 耶和華─萬軍之 神啊，求你聽我的禱告！雅各的 神啊，求你留心聽！（細拉）
O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
84:9 神啊，你是我們的盾牌；求你垂顧觀看你受膏者的面！
Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
84:10 在你的院宇住一日，勝似在別處住千日；寧可在我 神殿中看門，不願住在惡人的帳棚裡。
For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. I had...: Heb. I would choose rather to sit at the threshold
84:11 因為耶和華─ 神是日頭，是盾牌，要賜下恩惠和榮耀。他未嘗留下一樣好處不給那些行動正直的人。
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
84:12 萬軍之耶和華啊，倚靠你的人便為有福！
O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
