W4 2012-04-26 (撒上6)
經文: 撒母耳記上 6:7-9 現在你們應當造一輛新車，將兩隻未曾負軛有乳的母牛套在車上，使牛犢回家去，離開母牛。把耶和華的約櫃放在車上，將所獻賠罪的金物裝在匣子裡，放在櫃旁，將櫃送去。你們要看看：車若直行以色列的境界到伯示麥去，這大災就是耶和華降在我們身上的；若不然，便可以知道不是他的手擊打我們，是我們偶然遇見的。
默想: 非利士人發現這個從以色列人戰場上擄獲的戰利品約櫃，竟然是具有可怕神威的燙手山芋。因為，約櫃送到那一座城，那一座城的百姓就生痔瘡，田地就滿是老鼠，讓那座城的人民寢食難安、痛苦非常。非利士人是在痛苦當中學會尊重耶和華以及代表耶和華臨在的約櫃。但是，他們不知道當如何處理與安置這個讓他們受苦非常的約櫃，只好請教他們的宗教專業人士祭司與占卜的。這些異教宗教專業人士就用他們所知道的方法，教導非利士人，要用五個金痔瘡與金老鼠來代表五個非利士支派的領袖，向耶和華賠罪認錯，歸榮耀給耶和華。然後再做一輛全新牛車，用剛生牛犢的滿乳母牛來拖這個牛車，把約櫃與裝有那五隻金痔瘡與金老鼠的禮盒放在牛車上面。把剛出生的牛犢帶回家中。然後放開母牛，觀察看母牛是受母性的衝動影響而把牛車拖回剛出生牛犢的家，還是母牛一面哭啼，一面將牛車拖到以色列人的境內。我們看到非利士的宗教專業人士用他們對於宗教的瞭解，以及他們使用動物母性的衝動來做為他們所遭遇苦難來源的鑑別診斷。我們也看到耶和華願意遵照非利士人宗教專業人士的瞭解，來讓非利士人明白，這一切苦難是耶和華親自出手，要教導非利士人認識耶和華才是掌管宇宙萬物的主宰。很遺憾的是，非利士人只求有效解決他們當前的苦難與困難，卻沒有學會真正悔改，來敬拜侍奉耶和華。求主幫助我，讓我在遭遇困難艱苦時，不要只是尋求減輕苦難的方法，而是會自我反省，悔改歸向真神。
題目: 非利士人因對真神的無知，藐視約櫃，以致嚐盡苦頭，但神卻憐憫，接受他們賠罪的禮物，不再追討他們褻瀆的罪，試想在生活中，我們是否也曾因對神無知，而思、言、行和態度得罪神，如今願意認罪回轉，讓主寶血遮蓋？（v4-5）
6:1 耶和華的約櫃在非利士人之地七個月。
The ark of the LORD was in the country of the Philistines seven months.
6:2 非利士人將祭司和占卜的聚了來，問他們說：「我們向耶和華的約櫃應當怎樣行？請指示我們用何法將約櫃送回原處。」
And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners and said, "What shall we do with the ark of the LORD? Tell us with what we shall send it to its place."
6:3 他們說：「若要將以色列 神的約櫃送回去，不可空空地送去，必要給他獻賠罪的禮物，然後你們可得痊癒，並知道他的手為何不離開你們。」
They said, "If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, do not send it empty, but by all means return him a guilt offering. Then you will be healed, and it will be known to you why his hand does not turn away from you."
6:4 非利士人說：「應當用甚麼獻為賠罪的禮物呢？」他們回答說：「當照非利士首領的數目，用五個金痔瘡，五個金老鼠，因為在你們眾人和你們首領的身上都是一樣的災。
And they said, "What is the guilt offering that we shall return to him?" They answered, "Five golden tumors and five golden mice, according to the number of the lords of the Philistines; for the same plague was upon all of you and upon your lords.
6:5 所以當製造你們痔瘡的像和毀壞你們田地老鼠的像，並要歸榮耀給以色列的 神，或者他向你們和你們的 神，並你們的田地，把手放輕些。
So you must make images of your tumors and images of your mice that ravage the land, and give glory to the God of Israel; perhaps he will lighten his hand from off you and your gods and your land.
6:6 你們為何硬著心像埃及人和法老一樣呢？ 神在埃及人中間行奇事，埃及人豈不釋放以色列人，他們就去了嗎？
Why should you harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? After he had made sport of them, did not they let the people go, and they departed?
6:7 現在你們應當造一輛新車，將兩隻未曾負軛有乳的母牛套在車上，使牛犢回家去，離開母牛。
Now then, take and prepare a new cart and two milch cows upon which there has never come a yoke, and yoke the cows to the cart, but take their calves home, away from them.
6:8 把耶和華的約櫃放在車上，將所獻賠罪的金物裝在匣子裡，放在櫃旁，將櫃送去。
And take the ark of the LORD and place it on the cart, and put in a box at its side the figures of gold, which you are returning to him as a guilt offering. Then send it off, and let it go its way.
6:9 你們要看看：車若直行以色列的境界到伯•示麥去，這大災就是耶和華降在我們身上的；若不然，便可以知道不是他的手擊打我們，是我們偶然遇見的。」
And watch; if it goes up on the way to its own land, to Beth-she'mesh, then it is he who has done us this great harm; but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that struck us, it happened to us by chance."
6:10 非利士人就這樣行：將兩隻有乳的母牛套在車上，將牛犢關在家裡，
The men did so, and took two milch cows and yoked them to the cart, and shut up their calves at home.
6:11 把耶和華的約櫃和裝金老鼠並金痔瘡像的匣子都放在車上。
And they put the ark of the LORD on the cart, and the box with the golden mice and the images of their tumors.
6:12 牛直行大道，往伯•示麥去，一面走一面叫，不偏左右。非利士的首領跟在後面，直到伯•示麥的境界。
And the cows went straight in the direction of Beth-she'mesh along one highway, lowing as they went; they turned neither to the right nor to the left, and the lords of the Philistines went after them as far as the border of Beth-she'mesh.
6:13 伯•示麥人正在平原收割麥子，舉目看見約櫃，就歡喜了。
Now the people of Beth-she'mesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley; and when they lifted up their eyes and saw the ark, they rejoiced to see it.
6:14 車到了伯•示麥人約書亞的田間，就站住了。在那裡有一塊大磐石，他們把車劈了，將兩隻母牛獻給耶和華為燔祭。
The cart came into the field of Joshua of Beth-she'mesh, and stopped there. A great stone was there; and they split up the wood of the cart and offered the cows as a burnt offering to the LORD.
6:15 利未人將耶和華的約櫃和裝金物的匣子拿下來，放在大磐石上。當日伯•示麥人將燔祭和平安祭獻給耶和華。
And the Levites took down the ark of the LORD and the box that was beside it, in which were the golden figures, and set them upon the great stone; and the men of Beth-she'mesh offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices on that day to the LORD.
6:16 非利士人的五個首領看見，當日就回以革倫去了。
And when the five lords of the Philistines saw it, they returned that day to Ekron.
6:17 非利士人獻給耶和華作賠罪的金痔瘡像，就是這些：一個是為亞實突，一個是為迦薩，一個是為亞實基倫，一個是為迦特，一個是為以革倫。
These are the golden tumors, which the Philistines returned as a guilt offering to the LORD: one for Ashdod, one for Gaza, one for Ash'kelon, one for Gath, one for Ekron;
6:18 金老鼠的數目是照非利士五個首領的城邑，就是堅固的城邑和鄉村，以及大磐石。這磐石是放耶和華約櫃的，到今日還在伯•示麥人約書亞的田間。
also the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five lords, both fortified cities and unwalled villages. The great stone, beside which they set down the ark of the LORD, is a witness to this day in the field of Joshua of Beth-she'mesh.
6:19 耶和華因伯•示麥人擅觀他的約櫃，就擊殺了他們七十人；那時有五萬人在那裡（原文是七十人加五萬人）。百姓因耶和華大大擊殺他們，就哀哭了。
And he slew some of the men of Beth-she'mesh, because they looked into the ark of the LORD; he slew seventy men of them, and the people mourned because the LORD had made a great slaughter among the people.
6:20 伯•示麥人說：「誰能在耶和華這聖潔的 神面前侍立呢？這約櫃可以從我們這裡送到誰那裡去呢？」
Then the men of Beth-she'mesh said, "Who is able to stand before the LORD, this holy God? And to whom shall he go up away from us?"
6:21 於是打發人去見基列•耶琳的居民，說：「非利士人將耶和華的約櫃送回來了，你們下來將約櫃接到你們那裡去吧！」
So they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kir'iath-je'arim, saying, "The Philistines have returned the ark of the LORD. Come down and take it up to you."
The ark of the LORD was in the country of the Philistines seven months.
6:2 非利士人將祭司和占卜的聚了來，問他們說：「我們向耶和華的約櫃應當怎樣行？請指示我們用何法將約櫃送回原處。」
And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners and said, "What shall we do with the ark of the LORD? Tell us with what we shall send it to its place."

And they put the ark of the LORD on the cart, and the box with the golden mice and the images of their tumors.
6:12 牛直行大道，往伯•示麥去，一面走一面叫，不偏左右。非利士的首領跟在後面，直到伯•示麥的境界。

『非利士人說：「應當用什麼獻為賠罪的禮物呢？」他們回答說：「當照非利士首領的數目，用五個金痔瘡，五個金老鼠，因為在你們眾人和你們首領的身上都是一樣的災。所以當製造你們痔瘡的像和毀壞你們田地老鼠的像，並要歸榮耀給以色列的神，或者他向你們和你們的神，並你們的田地，把手放輕些』。（撒母耳記上 6:4-5）
回覆刪除「歸榮耀給以色列的神」在此，意指承認這位獨一的真神，祂的大能，大力，和世人當將榮耀尊榮歸給祂。當非利士人承認他們犯了錯，因對真神的無知，不該藐視約櫃，求神手放輕些，不要重罰他們。結果約櫃重回到以色列民中，非利士人的痔瘡被醫治，瘟疫停止了，而以色列百姓歡呼，但少數的以色列民偷窺約櫃，有70個人被擊殺，不夠警醒覺神的聖潔。這告訴我們，這些人和以利的兩個兒子一樣，不尊重神，藐視神，才有如此下場。
求主幫助我們，以前的無知，輕言，不懂得尊重神，藐視神，這些態度，都不們神喜悅的，求主光照，讓我們認罪悔改（שׁוּב return），轉向他，就像那個約櫃從非利士人群中回到（שׁוּב return）以色列民中一樣。唯有神的兒女，轉回歸向祂，尊重祂，敬拜祂，把榮耀給獨一的真神時，才會蒙神的喜悅，得到祂的祝福的。
