經文: 路加福音 17:1-2 耶穌又對門徒說：「絆倒人的事是免不了的；但那絆倒人的有禍了。就是把磨石拴在這人的頸項上，丟在海裡，還強如他把這小子裡的一個絆倒了。
默想: 絆倒人是否算是一種嚴重的得罪弟兄呢？如果算是的話，那麼主耶穌這兩個看來似乎毫無關連的教導就有關係了。如果一個比你成熟的弟兄不小心把你絆倒一次，你向他反應，他就向你表示懊悔認錯，你就要饒恕他。但是，後來他又不小心絆倒了你，你又再提醒他，他再度向你表示懊悔認錯，你就要再度饒恕他。如果一天之中，同樣的事情反覆發生七次之多，你還是要饒恕他。如果我們沒有看到前面兩句的教導，我們會認為主耶穌這種只有對於被得罪者的要求反覆饒恕，似乎有偏向一邊之嫌。主耶穌是先說，絆倒人的事是免不了的，如此才會一天發生七次之多，但是，這位絆倒人的有禍了，就是把磨石栓在這人頸項上，丟在海裡，還強如把這小子裡的一個絆倒了。這是對於絆倒人者的強烈警告。求主耶穌保守我，常常自我反省，避免絆倒人。一旦不小心絆倒人，要趕快求人饒恕。也求主耶穌幫助我，當我被人不小心絆倒時，會靠主的力量饒恕別人，不要記恨在心。
題目: 猶太拉比有一諺語：「一個人若能饒恕別人三次，他便是完人。」然，耶穌在此所要求的饒恕卻是「若有得罪你，就勸戒他，若懊悔，就饒恕他，倘若一天七次，七次回轉，你總要饒恕他」試問，你的標準是？(v3-4)
17:1 耶穌又對門徒說：絆倒人的事是免不了的；但那絆倒人的有禍了。
And he said to his disciples, "Temptations to sin are sure to come; but woe to him by whom they come!
17:2 就是把磨石拴在這人的頸項上，丟在海裡，還強如他把這小子裡的一個絆倒了。
It would be better for him if a millstone were hung round his neck and he were cast into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.
17:3 你們要謹慎！若是你的弟兄得罪你，就勸戒他；他若懊悔，就饒恕他。
Take heed to yourselves; if your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him;
17:4 倘若他一天七次得罪你，又七次回轉，說：我懊悔了，你總要饒恕他。
and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, and says, `I repent,' you must forgive him."
17:5 使徒對主說：求主加增我們的信心。
The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"
17:6 主說：你們若有信心像一粒芥菜種，就是對這棵桑樹說：你要拔起根來，栽在海裡，它也必聽從你們。
And the Lord said, "If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this sycamine tree, `Be rooted up, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
17:7 你們誰有僕人耕地或是放羊，從田裡回來，就對他說：你快來坐下吃飯呢？
"Will any one of you, who has a servant plowing or keeping sheep, say to him when he has come in from the field, `Come at once and sit down at table'?
17:8 豈不對他說：你給我預備晚飯，束上帶子伺候我，等我吃喝完了，你才可以吃喝嗎？
Will he not rather say to him, `Prepare supper for me, and gird yourself and serve me, till I eat and drink; and afterward you shall eat and drink'?
17:9 僕人照所吩咐的去做，主人還謝謝他嗎？
Does he thank the servant because he did what was commanded?
17:10 這樣，你們做完了一切所吩咐的，只當說：我們是無用的僕人，所做的本是我們應分做的。
So you also, when you have done all that is commanded you, say, `We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.'"
17:11 耶穌往耶路撒冷去，經過撒馬利亞和加利利。
On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Sama'ria and Galilee.
17:12 進入一個村子，有十個長大痲瘋的，迎面而來，遠遠的站著，
And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance
17:13 高聲說：耶穌，夫子，可憐我們吧！
and lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us."
17:14 耶穌看見，就對他們說：你們去把身體給祭司察看。他們去的時候就潔淨了。
When he saw them he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went they were cleansed.
17:15 內中有一個見自己已經好了，就回來大聲歸榮耀與 神，
Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice;
17:16 又俯伏在耶穌腳前感謝他；這人是撒馬利亞人。
and he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan.
17:17 耶穌說：潔淨了的不是十個人嗎？那九個在那裡呢？
Then said Jesus, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?
17:18 除了這外族人，再沒有別人回來歸榮耀與 神嗎？
Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?"
17:19 就對那人說：起來，走吧！你的信救了你了。
And he said to him, "Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well."
17:20 法利賽人問： 神的國幾時來到？耶穌回答說： 神的國來到不是眼所能見的。
Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was coming, he answered them, "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed;
17:21 人也不得說：看哪，在這裡！看哪，在那裡！因為 神的國就在你們心裡（心裡：或作中間）。
nor will they say, `Lo, here it is!' or `There!' for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you."
17:22 他又對門徒說：日子將到，你們巴不得看見人子的一個日子，卻不得看見。
And he said to the disciples, "The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and you will not see it.
17:23 人將要對你們說：看哪，在那裡！看哪，在這裡！你們不要出去，也不要跟隨他們！
And they will say to you, `Lo, there!' or `Lo, here!' Do not go, do not follow them.
17:24 因為人子在他降臨的日子，好像閃電從天這邊一閃直照到天那邊。
For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of man be in his day.
17:25 只是他必須先受許多苦，又被這世代棄絕。
But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
17:26 挪亞的日子怎樣，人子的日子也要怎樣。
As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of man.
17:27 那時候的人又吃又喝，又娶又嫁，到挪亞進方舟的那日，洪水就來，把他們全都滅了。
They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
17:28 又好像羅得的日子；人又吃又喝，又買又賣，又耕種又蓋造。
Likewise as it was in the days of Lot -- they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built,
17:29 到羅得出所多瑪的那日，就有火與硫磺從天上降下來，把他們全都滅了。
but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom fire and sulphur rained from heaven and destroyed them all --
17:30 人子顯現的日子也要這樣。
so will it be on the day when the Son of man is revealed.
17:31 當那日，人在房上，器具在屋裡，不要下來拿；人在田裡，也不要回家。
On that day, let him who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away; and likewise let him who is in the field not turn back.
17:32 你們要回想羅得的妻子。
Remember Lot's wife.
17:33 凡想要保全生命的，必喪掉生命；凡喪掉生命的，必救活生命。
Whoever seeks to gain his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.
17:34 我對你們說，當那一夜，兩個人在一個床上，要取去一個，撇下一個。
I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
17:35 兩個女人一同推磨；要取去一個，撇下一個。（有古卷在此有：
There will be two women grinding together; one will be taken and the other left."
17:36 兩個人在田裡，要取去一個，撇下一個。）
17:37 門徒說：主啊，在那裡有這事呢？耶穌說：屍首在那裡，鷹也必聚在那裡。
And they said to him, "Where, Lord?" He said to them, "Where the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together."
And he said to his disciples, "Temptations to sin are sure to come; but woe to him by whom they come!
17:2 就是把磨石拴在這人的頸項上，丟在海裡，還強如他把這小子裡的一個絆倒了。
It would be better for him if a millstone were hung round his neck and he were cast into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.
