經文: 路加福音 23:23-25 他們大聲催逼彼拉多，求他把耶穌釘在十字架上。他們的聲音就得了勝。彼拉多這才照他們所求的定案，把他們所求的那作亂殺人、下在監裡的釋放了，把耶穌交給他們，任憑他們的意思行。
默想: 彼拉多是當年的法官，他卻無法獨立依據他所找到的證據來作出公正的審判。雖然他三次公開宣告，他實在查不出主耶穌有犯下萬惡不赦的死罪證據。但是，他卻屈服在群眾的壓力之下，做出對他的政治前途最有利的判決，就是遵照群眾的意見，做出宣判。親愛的主啊！求你保守我，能夠堅持真理與公義，不要屈服在群眾的壓力之下，而做出賣主的行為。
題目: 當他們釘死我主時，你是否在那裡？當他們把祂釘上十字架時，你是否在那裡？當他們把祂放進墳墓時，你是否在那裡？(v26-56)
23:1 眾人都起來，把耶穌解到彼拉多面前，
Then the whole company of them arose, and brought him before Pilate.
23:2 就告他說：我們見這人誘惑國民，禁止納稅給凱撒，並說自己是基督，是王。
And they began to accuse him, saying, "We found this man perverting our nation, and forbidding us to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ a king."
23:3 彼拉多問耶穌說：你是猶太人的王嗎？耶穌回答說：你說的是。
And Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" And he answered him, "You have said so."
23:4 彼拉多對祭司長和眾人說：我查不出這人有甚麼罪來。
And Pilate said to the chief priests and the multitudes, "I find no crime in this man."
23:5 但他們越發極力的說：他煽惑百姓，在猶太遍地傳道，從加利利起，直到這裡了。
But they were urgent, saying, "He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee even to this place."
23:6 彼拉多一聽見，就問：這人是加利利人嗎？
When Pilate heard this, he asked whether the man was a Galilean.
23:7 既曉得耶穌屬希律所管，就把他送到希律那裡去。那時希律正在耶路撒冷。
And when he learned that he belonged to Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him over to Herod, who was himself in Jerusalem at that time.
23:8 希律看見耶穌，就很歡喜；因為聽見過他的事，久已想要見他，並且指望看他行一件神蹟。
When Herod saw Jesus, he was very glad, for he had long desired to see him, because he had heard about him, and he was hoping to see some sign done by him.
23:9 於是問他許多的話；耶穌卻一言不答。
So he questioned him at some length; but he made no answer.
23:10 祭司長和文士都站著，極力的告他。
The chief priests and the scribes stood by, vehemently accusing him.
23:11 希律和他兵的丁就藐視耶穌，戲弄他，給他穿上華麗衣服，把他送回彼拉多那裡去。
And Herod with his soldiers treated him with contempt and mocked him; then, arraying him in gorgeous apparel, he sent him back to Pilate.
23:12 從前希律和彼拉多彼此有仇，在那一天就成了朋友。
And Herod and Pilate became friends with each other that very day, for before this they had been at enmity with each other.
23:13 彼拉多傳齊了祭司長和官府並百姓，
Pilate then called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,
23:14 就對他們說：你們解這人到我這裡，說他是誘惑百姓的。看哪，我也曾將你們告他的事，在你們面前審問他，並沒有查出他甚麼罪來；
and said to them, "You brought me this man as one who was perverting the people; and after examining him before you, behold, I did not find this man guilty of any of your charges against him;
23:15 就是希律也是如此，所以把他送回來。可見他沒有做甚麼該死的事。
neither did Herod, for he sent him back to us. Behold, nothing deserving death has been done by him;
23:16 故此，我要責打他，把他釋放了。（有古卷在此有：
I will therefore chastise him and release him."
23:17 每逢這節期，巡撫必須釋放一個囚犯給他們。）
23:18 眾人卻一齊喊著說：除掉這個人！釋放巴拉巴給我們！
But they all cried out together, "Away with this man, and release to us Barab'bas" --
23:19 這巴拉巴是因在城裡作亂殺人，下在監裡的。
a man who had been thrown into prison for an insurrection started in the city, and for murder.
23:20 彼拉多願意釋放耶穌，就又勸解他們。
Pilate addressed them once more, desiring to release Jesus;
23:21 無奈他們喊著說：釘他十字架！釘他十字架！
but they shouted out, "Crucify, crucify him!"
23:22 彼拉多第三次對他們說：為甚麼呢？這人作了甚麼惡事呢？我並沒有查出他甚麼該死的罪來。所以，我要責打他，把他釋放了。
A third time he said to them, "Why, what evil has he done? I have found in him no crime deserving death; I will therefore chastise him and release him."
23:23 他們大聲催逼彼拉多，求他把耶穌釘在十字架上。他們的聲音就得了勝。
But they were urgent, demanding with loud cries that he should be crucified. And their voices prevailed.
23:24 彼拉多這才照他們所求的定案，
So Pilate gave sentence that their demand should be granted.
23:25 把他們所求的那作亂殺人、下在監的釋放了，把耶穌交給他們，任憑他們的意思行。
He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, whom they asked for; but Jesus he delivered up to their will.
23:26 帶耶穌去的時候，有一個古利奈人西門，從鄉下來；他們就抓住他，把十字架擱在他身上，叫他背著跟隨耶穌。
And as they led him away, they seized one Simon of Cyre'ne, who was coming in from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it behind Jesus.
23:27 有許多百姓跟隨耶穌，內中有好些婦女；婦女們為他號咷痛哭。
And there followed him a great multitude of the people, and of women who bewailed and lamented him.
23:28 耶穌轉身對她們說：耶路撒冷的女子，不要為我哭，當為自己和自己的兒女哭。
But Jesus turning to them said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.
23:29 因為日子要到，人必說：不生育的，和未曾懷胎的，未曾乳養嬰孩的，有福了！
For behold, the days are coming when they will say, `Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never gave suck!'
23:30 那時，人要向大山說：倒在我們身上！向小山說：遮蓋我們！
Then they will begin to say to the mountains, `Fall on us'; and to the hills, `Cover us.'
23:31 這些事既行在有汁水的樹上，那枯乾的樹將來怎麼樣呢？
For if they do this when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?"
23:32 又有兩個犯人，和耶穌一同帶來處死。
Two others also, who were criminals, were led away to be put to death with him.
23:33 到了一個地方，名叫髑髏地，就在那裡把耶穌釘在十字架上，又釘了兩個犯人：一個在左邊，一個在右邊。
And when they came to the place which is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left.
23:34 當下耶穌說：父啊！赦免他們；因為他們所做的，他們不曉得。兵丁就拈鬮分他的衣服。
And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." And they cast lots to divide his garments.
23:35 百姓站在那裡觀看。官府也嗤笑他，說：他救了別人；他若是基督， 神所揀選的，可以救自己吧！
And the people stood by, watching; but the rulers scoffed at him, saying, "He saved others; let him save himself, if he is the Christ of God, his Chosen One!"
23:36 兵丁也戲弄他，上前拿醋送給他喝，
The soldiers also mocked him, coming up and offering him vinegar,
23:37 說：你若是猶太人的王，可以救自己吧！
and saying, "If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!"
23:38 在耶穌以上有一個牌子（有古卷在此有：用希臘、羅馬、希伯來的文字）寫著：這是猶太人的王。
There was also an inscription over him, "This is the King of the Jews."
23:39 那同釘的兩個犯人有一個譏誚他，說：你不是基督嗎？可以救自己和我們吧！
One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, "Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!"
23:40 那一個就應聲責備他，說：你既是一樣受刑的，還不怕 神嗎？
But the other rebuked him, saying, "Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?
23:41 我們是應該的，因我們所受的與我們所做的相稱，但這個人沒有做過一件不好的事。
And we indeed justly; for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong."
23:42 就說：耶穌啊，你得國降臨的時候，求你記念我！
And he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
23:43 耶穌對他說：我實在告訴你，今日你要同我在樂園裡了。
And he said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise."
23:44 那時約有午正，遍地都黑暗了，直到申初，
It was now about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour,
23:45 日頭變黑了；殿裡的幔子從當中裂為兩半。
while the sun's light failed; and the curtain of the temple was torn in two.
23:46 耶穌大聲喊著說：父啊！我將我的靈魂交在你手裡。說了這話，氣就斷了。
Then Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, "Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit!" And having said this he breathed his last.
23:47 百夫長看見所成的事，就歸榮耀與 神，說：這真是個義人！
Now when the centurion saw what had taken place, he praised God, and said, "Certainly this man was innocent!"
23:48 聚集觀看的眾人見了這所成的事都捶著胸回去了。
And all the multitudes who assembled to see the sight, when they saw what had taken place, returned home beating their breasts.
23:49 還有一切與耶穌熟識的人，和從加利利跟著他來的婦女們，都遠遠的站著看這些事。
And all his acquaintances and the women who had followed him from Galilee stood at a distance and saw these things.
23:50 有一個人名叫約瑟，是個議士，為人善良公義；
Now there was a man named Joseph from the Jewish town of Arimathe'a. He was a member of the council, a good and righteous man,
23:51 眾人所謀所為，他並沒有附從。他本是猶太、亞利馬太城裡素常盼望 神國的人。
who had not consented to their purpose and deed, and he was looking for the kingdom of God.
23:52 這人去見彼拉多，求耶穌的身體，
This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.
23:53 就取下來，用細麻布裹好，安放在石頭鑿成的墳墓裡；那裡頭從來沒有葬過人。
Then he took it down and wrapped it in a linen shroud, and laid him in a rock-hewn tomb, where no one had ever yet been laid.
23:54 那日是預備日，安息日也快到了。
It was the day of Preparation, and the sabbath was beginning.
23:55 那些從加利利和耶穌同來的婦女跟在後面，看見了墳墓和他的身體怎樣安放。
The women who had come with him from Galilee followed, and saw the tomb, and how his body was laid;
23:56 她們就回去，預備了香料香膏。她們在安息日，便遵著誡命安息了。
then they returned, and prepared spices and ointments. On the sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
Then the whole company of them arose, and brought him before Pilate.
23:2 就告他說：我們見這人誘惑國民，禁止納稅給凱撒，並說自己是基督，是王。
And they began to accuse him, saying, "We found this man perverting our nation, and forbidding us to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ a king."
23:3 彼拉多問耶穌說：你是猶太人的王嗎？耶穌回答說：你說的是。

當下耶穌說：「父啊！赦免他們；因為他們所做的，他們不曉得。」兵丁就拈鬮分他的衣服。（路加23:34）
回覆刪除『並要以恩慈相待，存憐憫的心，彼此饒恕，正如上帝在基督裏饒恕了你們一樣。』（弗4：32）
當主耶穌被釘死時，大約在31～33 AD，我還未出生，當主耶穌被釘十字架時，當然我不在那裡。當他們把主耶穌的屍體放進墳墓時，我更本不可能在當場。是的，當主耶穌為我們眾罪人受死，我雖沒見到，但我深知，主的被釘死，主的被掛在十架上，斷氣後，主被放進墳墓三天後復活，我雖不在場，但我深深地相信這是千真萬確的事實。唯有神的兒子，為了我們罪人，白白的受死，才可完成救贖。因為He is risen! 主復活了！因這白白的救恩，我們才能與祂和好，成為新造的人。
這件可怕的事情乃是出於無知，這一個意念貫穿了整部新約。在往後的日子，彼得對百姓說：『我曉傳你們作這事，是出於不知。J（徒3：17。）保羅說他們釘死耶穌，是因為他們不認識祂。（徒13：27。）
求主幫助我們，今天我們可能會遇到各色各類不愉快的人和事，他們為了個人的利益，可能會故意傷害我們和侮辱我們；但我們不能像他們那樣，我們比他們對主的認知更多，因為聖靈住在我們的心裏。』其他人或許會不願饒恕人，其他人或許會在無知中犯罪；但我們所知的比他們多。因為我們是基督的兒女，我們要饒恕人，就像主祂饒恕了我們一般。你說是嗎？
