經文: 路得記 2:3 路得就去了，來到田間，在收割的人身後拾取麥穗。他恰巧到了以利米勒本族的人波阿斯那塊田裡。
默想: 當波阿斯從伯利恆來到他正在收割的麥田時，路得 “恰巧” 也走到波阿斯的那塊麥田裡去拾麥穗。這個恰巧的背後，卻有拿俄米與路得的失去丈父之喪夫之慟、路得願意離鄉背景，追隨年老婆婆返回故鄉的孝順之情、路得願意拋頭露面、日曬風吹去撿拾麥穗以供養婆婆的辛勤勞苦，做人厚道、存心善良的大財主波阿斯等等情境作為背景，加上耶和華的手在暗中掌權與帶領，才有那一天的恰巧。對於不相信上帝的人來說，人的一生，充滿了許多難以理解的巧遇。對於相信上帝的人來說，一切巧遇的背後，都有上帝慈愛的雙手與關愛的眼神。感謝神。
題目: 上主主動安排路得與波阿斯相遇，並透過他保護、看顧這位願意跟隨祂的外邦女子。試問，你相信只要願意跟隨上主，祂會為你安排超乎所求所想的事物嗎？(v10-13)
2:1 拿俄米的丈夫以利米勒的親族中，有一個人名叫波阿斯，是個大財主。
Now Na'omi had a kinsman of her husband's, a man of wealth, of the family of Elim'elech, whose name was Bo'az.
2:2 摩押女子路得對拿俄米說：「容我往田間去，我蒙誰的恩，就在誰的身後拾取麥穗。」拿俄米說：「女兒啊，你只管去。」
And Ruth the Moabitess said to Na'omi, "Let me go to the field, and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I shall find favor." And she said to her, "Go, my daughter."
2:3 路得就去了，來到田間，在收割的人身後拾取麥穗。她恰巧到了以利米勒本族的人波阿斯那塊田裡。
So she set forth and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers; and she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Bo'az, who was of the family of Elim'elech.
2:4 波阿斯正從伯利恆來，對收割的人說：「願耶和華與你們同在！」他們回答說：「願耶和華賜福與你！」
And behold, Bo'az came from Bethlehem; and he said to the reapers, "The LORD be with you!" And they answered, "The LORD bless you."
2:5 波阿斯問監管收割的僕人說：「那是誰家的女子？」
Then Bo'az said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, "Whose maiden is this?"
2:6 監管收割的僕人回答說：「是那摩押女子，跟隨拿俄米從摩押地回來的。
And the servant who was in charge of the reapers answered, "It is the Moabite maiden, who came back with Na'omi from the country of Moab.
2:7 她說：『請你容我跟著收割的人拾取打捆剩下的麥穗。』她從早晨直到如今，除了在屋子裡坐一會兒，常在這裡。」
She said, `Pray, let me glean and gather among the sheaves after the reapers.' So she came, and she has continued from early morning until now, without resting even for a moment."
2:8 波阿斯對路得說：「女兒啊，聽我說，不要往別人田裡拾取麥穗，也不要離開這裡，要常與我使女們在一處。
Then Bo'az said to Ruth, "Now, listen, my daughter, do not go to glean in another field or leave this one, but keep close to my maidens.
2:9 我的僕人在那塊田收割，你就跟著他們去。我已經吩咐僕人不可欺負你；你若渴了，就可以到器皿那裡喝僕人打來的水。」
Let your eyes be upon the field which they are reaping, and go after them. Have I not charged the young men not to molest you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink what the young men have drawn."
2:10 路得就俯伏在地叩拜，對他說：「我既是外邦人，怎麼蒙你的恩，這樣顧恤我呢？」
Then she fell on her face, bowing to the ground, and said to him, "Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, when I am a foreigner?"
2:11 波阿斯回答說：「自從你丈夫死後，凡你向婆婆所行的，並你離開父母和本地，到素不認識的民中，這些事人全都告訴我了。
But Bo'az answered her, "All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before.
2:12 願耶和華照你所行的賞賜你。你來投靠耶和華─以色列 神的翅膀下，願你滿得他的賞賜。」
The LORD recompense you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!"
2:13 路得說：「我主啊，願在你眼前蒙恩。我雖然不及你的一個使女，你還用慈愛的話安慰我的心。」
Then she said, "You are most gracious to me, my lord, for you have comforted me and spoken kindly to your maidservant, though I am not one of your maidservants."
2:14 到了吃飯的時候，波阿斯對路得說：「你到這裡來吃餅，將餅蘸在醋裡。」路得就在收割的人旁邊坐下；他們把烘了的穗子遞給她。她吃飽了，還有餘剩的。
And at mealtime Bo'az said to her, "Come here, and eat some bread, and dip your morsel in the wine." So she sat beside the reapers, and he passed to her parched grain; and she ate until she was satisfied, and she had some left over.
2:15 她起來又拾取麥穗，波阿斯吩咐僕人說：「她就是在捆中拾取麥穗，也可以容她，不可羞辱她；
When she rose to glean, Bo'az instructed his young men, saying, "Let her glean even among the sheaves, and do not reproach her.
2:16 並要從捆裡抽出些來，留在地下任她拾取，不可叱嚇她。」
And also pull out some from the bundles for her, and leave it for her to glean, and do not rebuke her."
2:17 這樣，路得在田間拾取麥穗，直到晚上，將所拾取的打了，約有一伊法大麥。
So she gleaned in the field until evening; then she beat out what she had gleaned, and it was about an ephah of barley.
2:18 她就把所拾取的帶進城去給婆婆看，又把她吃飽了所剩的給了婆婆。
And she took it up and went into the city; she showed her mother-in-law what she had gleaned, and she also brought out and gave her what food she had left over after being satisfied.
2:19 婆婆問她說：「你今日在哪裡拾取麥穗，在哪裡做工呢？願那顧恤你的得福。」路得就告訴婆婆說：「我今日在一個名叫波阿斯的人那裡做工。」
And her mother-in-law said to her, "Where did you glean today? And where have you worked? Blessed be the man who took notice of you." So she told her mother-in-law with whom she had worked, and said, "The man's name with whom I worked today is Bo'az."
2:20 拿俄米對兒婦說：「願那人蒙耶和華賜福，因為他不斷地恩待活人死人。」拿俄米又說：「那是我們本族的人，是一個至近的親屬。」
And Na'omi said to her daughter-in-law, "Blessed be he by the LORD, whose kindness has not forsaken the living or the dead!" Na'omi also said to her, "The man is a relative of ours, one of our nearest kin."
2:21 摩押女子路得說：「他對我說：『你要緊隨我的僕人拾取麥穗，直等他們收完了我的莊稼。』」
And Ruth the Moabitess said, "Besides, he said to me, `You shall keep close by my servants, till they have finished all my harvest.'"
2:22 拿俄米對兒婦路得說：「女兒啊，你跟著他的使女出去，不叫人遇見你在別人田間，這才為好。」
And Na'omi said to Ruth, her daughter-in-law, "It is well, my daughter, that you go out with his maidens, lest in another field you be molested."
2:23 於是路得與波阿斯的使女常在一處拾取麥穗，直到收完了大麥和小麥。路得仍與婆婆同住。
So she kept close to the maidens of Bo'az, gleaning until the end of the barley and wheat harvests; and she lived with her mother-in-law.
Now Na'omi had a kinsman of her husband's, a man of wealth, of the family of Elim'elech, whose name was Bo'az.
2:2 摩押女子路得對拿俄米說：「容我往田間去，我蒙誰的恩，就在誰的身後拾取麥穗。」拿俄米說：「女兒啊，你只管去。」
And Ruth the Moabitess said to Na'omi, "Let me go to the field, and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I shall find favor." And she said to her, "Go, my daughter."
2:3 路得就去了，來到田間，在收割的人身後拾取麥穗。她恰巧到了以利米勒本族的人波阿斯那塊田裡。
So she set forth and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers; and she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Bo'az, who was of the family of Elim'elech.
2:4 波阿斯正從伯利恆來，對收割的人說：「願耶和華與你們同在！」他們回答說：「願耶和華賜福與你！」
And behold, Bo'az came from Bethlehem; and he said to the reapers, "The LORD be with you!" And they answered, "The LORD bless you."
2:5 波阿斯問監管收割的僕人說：「那是誰家的女子？」
Then Bo'az said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, "Whose maiden is this?"
2:6 監管收割的僕人回答說：「是那摩押女子，跟隨拿俄米從摩押地回來的。
And the servant who was in charge of the reapers answered, "It is the Moabite maiden, who came back with Na'omi from the country of Moab.
2:7 她說：『請你容我跟著收割的人拾取打捆剩下的麥穗。』她從早晨直到如今，除了在屋子裡坐一會兒，常在這裡。」
She said, `Pray, let me glean and gather among the sheaves after the reapers.' So she came, and she has continued from early morning until now, without resting even for a moment."
2:8 波阿斯對路得說：「女兒啊，聽我說，不要往別人田裡拾取麥穗，也不要離開這裡，要常與我使女們在一處。
Then Bo'az said to Ruth, "Now, listen, my daughter, do not go to glean in another field or leave this one, but keep close to my maidens.
2:9 我的僕人在那塊田收割，你就跟著他們去。我已經吩咐僕人不可欺負你；你若渴了，就可以到器皿那裡喝僕人打來的水。」
Let your eyes be upon the field which they are reaping, and go after them. Have I not charged the young men not to molest you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink what the young men have drawn."
2:10 路得就俯伏在地叩拜，對他說：「我既是外邦人，怎麼蒙你的恩，這樣顧恤我呢？」

2:11 波阿斯回答說：「自從你丈夫死後，凡你向婆婆所行的，並你離開父母和本地，到素不認識的民中，這些事人全都告訴我了。
But Bo'az answered her, "All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before.
2:12 願耶和華照你所行的賞賜你。你來投靠耶和華─以色列 神的翅膀下，願你滿得他的賞賜。」
The LORD recompense you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!"
2:13 路得說：「我主啊，願在你眼前蒙恩。我雖然不及你的一個使女，你還用慈愛的話安慰我的心。」
Then she said, "You are most gracious to me, my lord, for you have comforted me and spoken kindly to your maidservant, though I am not one of your maidservants."
2:14 到了吃飯的時候，波阿斯對路得說：「你到這裡來吃餅，將餅蘸在醋裡。」路得就在收割的人旁邊坐下；他們把烘了的穗子遞給她。她吃飽了，還有餘剩的。
And at mealtime Bo'az said to her, "Come here, and eat some bread, and dip your morsel in the wine." So she sat beside the reapers, and he passed to her parched grain; and she ate until she was satisfied, and she had some left over.
2:15 她起來又拾取麥穗，波阿斯吩咐僕人說：「她就是在捆中拾取麥穗，也可以容她，不可羞辱她；
When she rose to glean, Bo'az instructed his young men, saying, "Let her glean even among the sheaves, and do not reproach her.
2:16 並要從捆裡抽出些來，留在地下任她拾取，不可叱嚇她。」
And also pull out some from the bundles for her, and leave it for her to glean, and do not rebuke her."
2:17 這樣，路得在田間拾取麥穗，直到晚上，將所拾取的打了，約有一伊法大麥。
So she gleaned in the field until evening; then she beat out what she had gleaned, and it was about an ephah of barley.
2:18 她就把所拾取的帶進城去給婆婆看，又把她吃飽了所剩的給了婆婆。
And she took it up and went into the city; she showed her mother-in-law what she had gleaned, and she also brought out and gave her what food she had left over after being satisfied.
2:19 婆婆問她說：「你今日在哪裡拾取麥穗，在哪裡做工呢？願那顧恤你的得福。」路得就告訴婆婆說：「我今日在一個名叫波阿斯的人那裡做工。」
And her mother-in-law said to her, "Where did you glean today? And where have you worked? Blessed be the man who took notice of you." So she told her mother-in-law with whom she had worked, and said, "The man's name with whom I worked today is Bo'az."
2:20 拿俄米對兒婦說：「願那人蒙耶和華賜福，因為他不斷地恩待活人死人。」拿俄米又說：「那是我們本族的人，是一個至近的親屬。」
And Na'omi said to her daughter-in-law, "Blessed be he by the LORD, whose kindness has not forsaken the living or the dead!" Na'omi also said to her, "The man is a relative of ours, one of our nearest kin."
2:21 摩押女子路得說：「他對我說：『你要緊隨我的僕人拾取麥穗，直等他們收完了我的莊稼。』」
And Ruth the Moabitess said, "Besides, he said to me, `You shall keep close by my servants, till they have finished all my harvest.'"
2:22 拿俄米對兒婦路得說：「女兒啊，你跟著他的使女出去，不叫人遇見你在別人田間，這才為好。」
And Na'omi said to Ruth, her daughter-in-law, "It is well, my daughter, that you go out with his maidens, lest in another field you be molested."
2:23 於是路得與波阿斯的使女常在一處拾取麥穗，直到收完了大麥和小麥。路得仍與婆婆同住。
So she kept close to the maidens of Bo'az, gleaning until the end of the barley and wheat harvests; and she lived with her mother-in-law.

波阿斯說：「願耶和華照你所行的賞賜你。你來投靠耶和華以色列神的翅膀下，願你滿得他的賞賜。」
回覆刪除路得說：「我主啊，願在你眼前蒙恩。我雖然不及你的一個使女，你還用慈愛的話安慰我的心。」（路得記 2:12-13）
路得憑著堅強的信心，決意選擇跟隨拿俄米，敬拜耶和華，忠心地跟隨祂、至死不渝。從本段經文，我們看見：
1) 「願耶和照你所行的賞賜你」，這應許是多麼的可貴，真實。馬太6：4 節也告訴我們：「凡我們暗中作在神面前的，都必得著神的賞賜」。
2) 「你來投靠耶和華以色列神的翅膀下，願你滿得他的賞賜。」正如詩篇 36:7-8節所述：「神啊，你的慈愛何其寶貴！世人投靠在你翅膀的蔭下。他們必因你殿裡的肥甘得以飽足；你也必叫他們喝你樂河的水」。神的應許，終必成就。
3) 「我雖然不及你的一個使女」，路得看見在波阿斯的那塊田裏所有的使女都比她大，都能幫助她，只要她們把麥穗留點在地上，就足以幫她度過窮乏的日子。
4) 「你還用慈愛的話安慰我的心」。路得聽見波阿斯慈愛的話，知道他有安慰人的心腸。可見對於相信上帝的人來說，一切巧遇的背後，都有上帝慈愛的雙手與關愛的眼神。感謝神。
路得為著跟隨主而撇下了一切，現在神親自以祂的同在來報答她；並且不是一點點的報賞，而是「滿得祂的賞賜」。若主說是滿的，那定規是何等的豐滿！求主幫助我們，凡信靠神的，必蒙受祂的看顧與祝福。
