經文: 創世紀 26:22 以撒離開那裡，又挖了一口井，他們不為這井爭競了，他就給那井起名叫利河伯（就是寬闊的意思）。他說：「耶和華現在給我們寬闊之地，我們必在這地昌盛。」
默想: 以撒在亞比米勒的境內蒙耶和華祝福，收成百倍，成了大富戶。招致當地人民的嫉妒與排擠。他被驅逐出境之後，在郊區挖到井水，卻被當地人爭奪。以撒一再寬容讓步，一直到第三口井時，當地人民停止對他的井水的爭奪。以撒稱這口井為利河伯，就是寬闊的意思。真的是退三步海闊天空。求主幫助我，在遭遇嫉妒排擠時，會學習以撒的榜樣，退讓寬容，好得到耶和華更為豐盛的祝福。
題目: 26：12-33 以撒成為「大富戶」的祝福與挑戰為何？他如何面對？你有何學習？
26:1 在亞伯拉罕的日子，那地有一次饑荒；這時又有饑荒，以撒就往基拉耳去，到非利士人的王亞比米勒那裡。
Now there was a famine in the land, besides the former famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Gerar, to Abim'elech king of the Philistines.
26:2 耶和華向以撒顯現，說：「你不要下埃及去，要住在我所指示你的地。
And the LORD appeared to him, and said, "Do not go down to Egypt ; dwell in the land of which I shall tell you.
26:3 你寄居在這地，我必與你同在，賜福給你，因為我要將這些地都賜給你和你的後裔。我必堅定我向你父亞伯拉罕所起的誓。
Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you, and will bless you; for to you and to your descendants I will give all these lands, and I will fulfil the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.
26:4 我要加增你的後裔，像天上的星那樣多，又要將這些地都賜給你的後裔。並且地上萬國必因你的後裔得福─
I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give to your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall bless themselves:
26:5 都因亞伯拉罕聽從我的話，遵守我的吩咐和我的命令、律例、法度。」
because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws."
26:6 以撒就住在基拉耳。
So Isaac dwelt in Gerar.
26:7 那地方的人問到他的妻子，他便說：「那是我的妹子。」原來他怕說：「是我的妻子」；他心裡想：「恐怕這地方的人為利百加的緣故殺我，」因為她容貌俊美。
When the men of the place asked him about his wife, he said, "She is my sister"; for he feared to say, "My wife," thinking, "lest the men of the place should kill me for the sake of Rebekah"; because she was fair to look upon.
26:8 他在那裡住了許久。有一天，非利士人的王亞比米勒從窗戶裡往外觀看，見以撒和他的妻子利百加戲玩。
When he had been there a long time, Abim'elech king of the Philistines looked out of a window and saw Isaac fondling Rebekah his wife.
26:9 亞比米勒召了以撒來，對他說：「她實在是你的妻子，你怎麼說她是你的妹子？」以撒說：「我心裡想，恐怕我因她而死。」
So Abim'elech called Isaac, and said, "Behold, she is your wife; how then could you say, `She is my sister'?" Isaac said to him, "Because I thought, `Lest I die because of her.'"
26:10 亞比米勒說：「你向我們做的是甚麼事呢？民中險些有人和你的妻同寢，把我們陷在罪裡」。
Abim'elech said, "What is this you have done to us? One of the people might easily have lain with your wife, and you would have brought guilt upon us."
26:11 於是亞比米勒曉諭眾民說：「凡沾著這個人，或是他妻子的，定要把他治死。」
So Abim'elech warned all the people, saying, "Whoever touches this man or his wife shall be put to death."
26:12 以撒在那地耕種，那一年有百倍的收成。耶和華賜福給他，
And Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The LORD blessed him,
26:13 他就昌大，日增月盛，成了大富戶。
and the man became rich, and gained more and more until he became very wealthy.
26:14 他有羊群牛群，又有許多僕人，非利士人就嫉妒他。
He had possessions of flocks and herds, and a great household, so that the Philistines envied him.
26:15 當他父親亞伯拉罕在世的日子，他父親的僕人所挖的井，非利士人全都塞住，填滿了土。
(Now the Philistines had stopped and filled with earth all the wells which his father's servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father.)
26:16 亞比米勒對以撒說：「你離開我們去吧。因為你比我們強盛得多。」
And Abim'elech said to Isaac, "Go away from us; for you are much mightier than we."
26:17 以撒就離開那裡，在基拉耳谷支搭帳棚，住在那裡。
So Isaac departed from there, and encamped in the valley of Gerar and dwelt there.
26:18 當他父親亞伯拉罕在世之日所挖的水井因非利士人在亞伯拉罕死後塞住了，以撒就重新挖出來，仍照他父親所叫的叫那些井的名字。
And Isaac dug again the wells of water which had been dug in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham; and he gave them the names which his father had given them.
26:19 以撒的僕人在谷中挖井，便得了一口活水井。
But when Isaac's servants dug in the valley and found there a well of springing water,
26:20 基拉耳的牧人與以撒的牧人爭競，說：「這水是我們的。」以撒就給那井起名叫埃色【就是相爭的意思】，因為他們和他相爭。
the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac's herdsmen, saying, "The water is ours." So he called the name of the well Esek, because they contended with him.
26:21 以撒的僕人又挖了一口井，他們又為這井爭競，因此以撒給這井起名叫西提拿【就是為敵的意思】。
Then they dug another well, and they quarreled over that also; so he called its name Sitnah.
26:22 以撒離開那裡，又挖了一口井，他們不為這井爭競了，他就給那井起名叫利河伯【就是寬闊的意思】。他說：「耶和華現在給我們寬闊之地，我們必在這地昌盛。」
And he moved from there and dug another well, and over that they did not quarrel; so he called its name Reho'both, saying, "For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land."
26:23 以撒從那裡上別是巴去。
From there he went up to Beer-sheba.
26:24 當夜耶和華向他顯現，說：「我是你父親亞伯拉罕的 神，不要懼怕！因為我與你同在，要賜福給你，並要為我僕人亞伯拉罕的緣故，使你的後裔繁多。」
And the LORD appeared to him the same night and said, "I am the God of Abraham your father; fear not, for I am with you and will bless you and multiply your descendants for my servant Abraham's sake."
26:25 以撒就在那裡築了一座壇，求告耶和華的名，並且支搭帳棚；他的僕人便在那裡挖了一口井。
So he built an altar there and called upon the name of the LORD, and pitched his tent there. And there Isaac's servants dug a well.
26:26 亞比米勒，同他的朋友亞戶撒和他的軍長非各，從基拉耳來見以撒。
Then Abim'elech went to him from Gerar with Ahuz'zath his adviser and Phicol the commander of his army.
26:27 以撒對他們說：「你們既然恨我，打發我走了，為甚麼到我這裡來呢？」
Isaac said to them, "Why have you come to me, seeing that you hate me and have sent me away from you?"
26:28 他們說：「我們明明的看見耶和華與你同在，便說，不如我們兩下彼此起誓，彼此立約，
They said, "We see plainly that the LORD is with you; so we say, let there be an oath between you and us, and let us make a covenant with you,
26:29 使你不害我們，正如我們未曾害你，一味的厚待你，並且打發你平平安安的走。你是蒙耶和華賜福的了。」
that you will do us no harm, just as we have not touched you and have done to you nothing but good and have sent you away in peace. You are now the blessed of the LORD."
26:30 以撒就為他們設擺筵席，他們便吃了喝了。
So he made them a feast, and they ate and drank.
26:31 他們清早起來彼此起誓。以撒打發他們走，他們就平平安安的離開他走了。
In the morning they rose early and took oath with one another; and Isaac set them on their way, and they departed from him in peace.
26:32 那一天，以撒的僕人來，將挖井的事告訴他說：「我們得了水了。」
That same day Isaac's servants came and told him about the well which they had dug, and said to him, "We have found water."
26:33 他就給那井起名叫示巴；因此那城叫做別是巴，直到今日。
He called it Shibah; therefore the name of the city is Beer-sheba to this day.
26:34 以掃四十歲的時候娶了赫人比利的女兒猶滴，與赫人以倫的女兒巴實抹為妻。
When Esau was forty years old, he took to wife Judith the daughter of Be-e'ri the Hittite, and Bas'emath the daughter of Elon the Hittite;
26:35 她們常使以撒和利百加心裡愁煩。
and they made life bitter for Isaac and Rebekah.
三年樂活讀經
W1 2011-02-07 (申31:23-32:14)
經文: 申命記 31:23 耶和華囑咐嫩的兒子約書亞說：你當剛強壯膽，因為你必領以色列人進我所起誓應許他們的地；我必與你同在。
默想：約書亞被上帝挑選要接續偉大民族解放領袖摩西所留下來的棒子，帶領這一群抱怨叛逆的以色列人，進入高大強悍的迦南人所居住之迦南地。約書亞內心的憂懼是可想而知。但是，耶和華囑咐約書亞，要他剛強壯膽，不要恐懼，也不要驚惶。因為，上帝應許要與約書亞同在，上帝會幫助約書亞，完成在人看來似乎是不可能完成的使命與任務。求上帝也常常與我同在，好讓我也能夠一生依靠主，而剛強壯膽，完成使命。
題目:本段經文用母鷹如何帶領雛鷹來比喻耶和華如何帶領以色列人，你對此比喻有何感想呢？
31:23 耶和華囑咐嫩的兒子約書亞說：「你當剛強壯膽，因為你必領以色列人進我所起誓應許他們的地；我必與你同在。」
And the LORD commissioned Joshua the son of Nun and said, "Be strong and of good courage; for you shall bring the children of Israel into the land which I swore to give them: I will be with you."
31:24 摩西將這律法的話寫在書上，及至寫完了，
When Moses had finished writing the words of this law in a book, to the very end,
31:25 就吩咐抬耶和華約櫃的利未人說：
Moses commanded the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD,
31:26 「將這律法書放在耶和華─你們 神的約櫃旁，可以在那裡見證以色列人的不是；
"Take this book of the law, and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against you.
31:27 因為我知道你們是悖逆的，是硬著頸項的。我今日還活著與你們同在，你們尚且悖逆耶和華，何況我死後呢？
For I know how rebellious and stubborn you are; behold, while I am yet alive with you, today you have been rebellious against the LORD; how much more after my death!
31:28 你們要將你們支派的眾長老和官長都招聚了來，我好將這些話說與他們聽，並呼天喚地見證他們的不是。
Assemble to me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears and call heaven and earth to witness against them.
31:29 我知道我死後，你們必全然敗壞，偏離我所吩咐你們的道，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，以手所做的惹他發怒；日後必有禍患臨到你們。」
For I know that after my death you will surely act corruptly, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and in the days to come evil will befall you, because you will do what is evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking him to anger through the work of your hands."
31:30 摩西將這一篇歌的話都說與以色列全會眾聽。
Then Moses spoke the words of this song until they were finished, in the ears of all the assembly of Israel :
32:1 諸天哪，側耳，我要說話；願地也聽我口中的言語。
"Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; and let the earth hear the words of my mouth.
32:2 我的教訓要淋漓如雨；我的言語要滴落如露，如細雨降在嫩草上，如甘霖降在菜蔬中。
May my teaching drop as the rain, my speech distil as the dew, as the gentle rain upon the tender grass, and as the showers upon the herb.
32:3 我要宣告耶和華的名；你們要將大德歸與我們的 神。
For I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Ascribe greatness to our God!
32:4 他是磐石，他的作為完全；他所行的無不公平，是誠實無偽的 神，又公義，又正直。
"The Rock, his work is perfect; for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he.
32:5 這乖僻彎曲的世代向他行事邪僻；有這弊病就不是他的兒女。
They have dealt corruptly with him, they are no longer his children because of their blemish; they are a perverse and crooked generation.
32:6 愚昧無知的民哪，你們這樣報答耶和華嗎？他豈不是你的父、將你買來的嗎？他是製造你、建立你的。
Do you thus requite the LORD, you foolish and senseless people? Is not he your father, who created you, who made you and established you?
32:7 你當追想上古之日，思念歷代之年；問你的父親，他必指示你；問你的長者，他必告訴你。
Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations; ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you.
32:8 至高者將地業賜給列邦，將世人分開，就照以色列人的數目立定萬民的疆界。
When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of men, he fixed the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God.
32:9 耶和華的分本是他的百姓；他的產業本是雅各。
For the LORD's portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage.
32:10 耶和華遇見他在曠野─荒涼野獸吼叫之地，就環繞他，看顧他，保護他，如同保護眼中的瞳人。
"He found him in a desert land, and in the howling waste of the wilderness; he encircled him, he cared for him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.
32:11 又如鷹攪動巢窩，在雛鷹以上兩翅搧展，接取雛鷹，背在兩翼之上。
Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that flutters over its young, spreading out its wings, catching them, bearing them on its pinions,
32:12 這樣，耶和華獨自引導他，並無外邦神與他同在。
the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no foreign god with him.
32:13 耶和華使他乘駕地的高處，得吃田間的土產；又使他從磐石中咂蜜，從堅石中吸油；
He made him ride on the high places of the earth, and he ate the produce of the field; and he made him suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock.
32:14 也吃牛的奶油，羊的奶，羊羔的脂油，巴珊所出的公綿羊和山羊，與上好的麥子，也喝葡萄汁釀的酒。
Curds from the herd, and milk from the flock, with fat of lambs and rams, herds of Bashan and goats, with the finest of the wheat -- and of the blood of the grape you drank wine.
