經文: 申命記 10:1-2 那時，耶和華吩咐我說：你要鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣，上山到我這裡來，又要做一木櫃。你先前摔碎的那版，其上的字我要寫在這版上；你要將這版放在櫃中。
默想: 申命記的英文是deuteronomy, 是源自七十士譯本 (Septuagint) [希伯來聖經之希臘文譯本] 以及拉丁文武加大譯本 (Latin Vulgate) 從申命記17:18 中之 “抄錄一本” 的譯詞。七十士譯本之希臘文是 Deuteronovmion (deuteronomion)，拉丁武加大譯本則譯為 deuteronomium。意思是 “第二律法”。申命記是摩西對於出埃及後在進入迦南地之前，對於第二代以色列人，重述一遍耶和華在西乃山對於第一代以色列人所頒布的律法。今天這段經文讓我看到，耶和華對於第一代的以色列人，也是兩度頒布律法。第一次耶和華呼召摩西登上西乃山，親口向摩西頒布律法，要摩西下山後要照樣將這些律法教導給以色列人遵行。同時耶和華在西乃山和摩西說完了話，就把兩塊法版交給他，是神用指頭寫的石版。(出31:18) 這兩塊石版是耶和華所預備，且親手寫上十誡內容。摩西在下西乃山時，看見亞倫帶領以色列人在他上山四十天之間竟然去拜自己的手所鑄出來的金牛犢。摩西在盛怒之下，把手裡兩塊石版扔到山下摔碎了 (出32:19)。耶和華要摩西再度上西乃山，這回摩西須要自己刻出兩塊石版帶上山，讓耶和華在石版上面再一次將十誡親手刻上去。感謝上帝，你對於我們的犯錯是滿有慈悲憐憫。你願意給我們再一次的機會來學習你的律法。求上帝幫助我，能夠懷者感恩的心，抓住這第二次的機會，來學習遵行你的律法。
題目: 12-21節，上帝對於以色列百姓的要求是什麼？這對於你有何提醒？你的回應是什麼？
10:1 「那時，耶和華吩咐我說：『你要鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣，上山到我這裡來，又要做一木櫃。
"At that time the LORD said to me, `Hew two tables of stone like the first, and come up to me on the mountain, and make an ark of wood.
10:2 你先前摔碎的那版，其上的字我要寫在這版上；你要將這版放在櫃中。』
And I will write on the tables the words that were on the first tables which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.'
10:3 於是我用皂莢木做了一櫃，又鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣，手裡拿這兩塊版上山去了。
So I made an ark of acacia wood, and hewed two tables of stone like the first, and went up the mountain with the two tables in my hand.
10:4 耶和華將那大會之日、在山上從火中所傳與你們的十條誡，照先前所寫的，寫在這版上，將版交給我了。
And he wrote on the tables, as at the first writing, the ten commandments which the LORD had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly; and the LORD gave them to me.
10:5 我轉身下山，將這版放在我所做的櫃中，現今還在那裡，正如耶和華所吩咐我的。」
Then I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they are, as the LORD commanded me.
10:6 （以色列人從比羅比尼•亞干（或作：亞干井）起行，到了摩西拉。亞倫死在那裡，就葬在那裡。他兒子以利亞撒接續他供祭司的職分。
(The people of Israel journeyed from Be-er'oth Bene-ja'akan to Mose'rah. There Aaron died, and there he was buried; and his son Elea'zar ministered as priest in his stead.
10:7 他們從那裡起行，到了谷歌大，又從谷歌大到了有溪水之地的約巴他。
From there they journeyed to Gud'godah, and from Gud'godah to Jot'bathah, a land with brooks of water.
10:8 那時，耶和華將利未支派分別出來，抬耶和華的約櫃，又侍立在耶和華面前事奉他，奉他的名祝福，直到今日。
At that time the LORD set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister to him and to bless in his name, to this day.
10:9 所以利未人在他弟兄中無分無業，耶和華是他的產業，正如耶和華─你 神所應許他的。）
Therefore Levi has no portion or inheritance with his brothers; the LORD is his inheritance, as the LORD your God said to him.)
10:10 「我又像從前在山上住了四十晝夜。那次耶和華也應允我，不忍將你滅絕。
"I stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights, and the LORD hearkened to me that time also; the LORD was unwilling to destroy you.
10:11 耶和華吩咐我說：『你起來引導這百姓，使他們進去得我向他們列祖起誓應許所賜之地。』
And the LORD said to me, `Arise, go on your journey at the head of the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I swore to their fathers to give them.'
10:12 以色列啊，現在耶和華─你 神向你所要的是甚麼呢？只要你敬畏耶和華─你的 神，遵行他的道，愛他，盡心盡性事奉他，
"And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
10:13 遵守他的誡命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的，為要叫你得福。
and to keep the commandments and statutes of the LORD, which I command you this day for your good?
10:14 看哪，天和天上的天，地和地上所有的，都屬耶和華─你的 神。
Behold, to the LORD your God belong heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth with all that is in it;
10:15 耶和華但喜悅你的列祖，愛他們，從萬民中揀選他們的後裔，就是你們，像今日一樣。
yet the LORD set his heart in love upon your fathers and chose their descendants after them, you above all peoples, as at this day.
10:16 所以你們要將心裡的污穢除掉，不可再硬著頸項。
Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no longer stubborn.
10:17 因為耶和華─你們的 神─他是萬神之神，萬主之主，至大的 神，大有能力，大而可畏，不以貌取人，也不受賄賂。
For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who is not partial and takes no bribe.
10:18 他為孤兒寡婦伸冤，又憐愛寄居的，賜給他衣食。
He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing.
10:19 所以你們要憐愛寄居的，因為你們在埃及地也作過寄居的。
Love the sojourner therefore; for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.
10:20 你要敬畏耶和華─你的 神，事奉他，專靠他，也要指著他的名起誓。
You shall fear the LORD your God; you shall serve him and cleave to him, and by his name you shall swear.
10:21 他是你所讚美的，是你的 神，為你做了那大而可畏的事，是你親眼所看見的。
He is your praise; he is your God, who has done for you these great and terrible things which your eyes have seen.
10:22 你的列祖七十人下埃及；現在耶和華─你的 神使你如同天上的星那樣多。」
Your fathers went down to Egypt seventy persons; and now the LORD your God has made you as the stars of heaven for multitude.
"At that time the LORD said to me, `Hew two tables of stone like the first, and come up to me on the mountain, and make an ark of wood.
10:2 你先前摔碎的那版，其上的字我要寫在這版上；你要將這版放在櫃中。』
And I will write on the tables the words that were on the first tables which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.'
10:3 於是我用皂莢木做了一櫃，又鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣，手裡拿這兩塊版上山去了。
So I made an ark of acacia wood, and hewed two tables of stone like the first, and went up the mountain with the two tables in my hand.
10:4 耶和華將那大會之日、在山上從火中所傳與你們的十條誡，照先前所寫的，寫在這版上，將版交給我了。

10:13 遵守他的誡命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的，為要叫你得福。
and to keep the commandments and statutes of the LORD, which I command you this day for your good?
10:14 看哪，天和天上的天，地和地上所有的，都屬耶和華─你的 神。
Behold, to the LORD your God belong heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth with all that is in it;
10:15 耶和華但喜悅你的列祖，愛他們，從萬民中揀選他們的後裔，就是你們，像今日一樣。

首先，上帝親口告訴以色列人，再三地提醒他們,要認識這位耶和華以色列人的神, 是怎樣的上帝？

2) 天和天上的天，地和地上所有的，都屬耶和華你的神。(申命記 10:14)
3) 祂是萬神之神，萬主之主，至大的神(申命記 10:17)
4) 祂大有能力，大而可畏 (申命記 10:17)
5) 祂不以貌取人，也不受賄賂。(申命記 10:17)
6) 他為孤兒寡婦伸冤，又憐愛寄居的，賜給他衣食。(申命記 10:18)
然後， 在申命記 10:12～13 ； 10：16 節：上帝對於以色列百姓的要求：
「以色列啊，現在耶和華你神向你所要的是什麼呢？只要你敬畏耶和華你的神，遵行他的道，愛他，盡心盡性事奉他，遵守他的誡命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的，為要叫你得福。。。所以你們要將心裡的污穢除掉，不可再硬著頸項」(申命記 10:12～13 ； 10：16 節)。
1） 敬畏耶和華你的神：敬畏（ יָרֵא, יָרֵא [yare’ /yaw•ray/] fear ）和「懼怕」是同一個字。對神的態度，出於信心的畏懼，乃是敬畏；出於害怕對罪的刑罰的，就是懼怕。。但在這裏，上帝所要的，乃是要求選民惟獨敬畏只要你敬畏耶和華你的神。
2） 遵行祂的道：遵行（הָלַךְ [halak /haw•lak/] walk ） 是照做的意思。這聽從和遵行上主的律例典章，不但是以色列人存活的依據，也是他們得以進住應許之地而承受為業的憑藉。但在這裏，上帝所要求的，乃是以色列人遵行祂的道。
3） 愛上帝：愛（אָהַב [’ahab, ’aheb /aw•hab/]，love）經常用來描述人與人之間的愛. 不過，申命記 6:5 「你要盡心、盡性、盡力、愛耶和華你的 神」。也用同樣的字אָהַב， 因此，אָהַב 也用在上帝要人愛祂。但上帝的慈愛時，卻常常會用חֶסֶד, חֶסֶד [checed /kheh•sed/] n lovingkindness; （慈愛，）來說明上帝之愛的偉大和可靠。在這裡，上帝所要求的，乃是以色列人要愛祂。
4） 盡心盡性事奉上帝: 事奉( עָבַד [`abad /aw•bad/] v. serve;) 的用字，和服務、奴役是同一的字源；是指當存謙卑的心，真誠的服務，來事奉上帝。
5） 遵守他的誡命律例：遵守 (שָׁמַר [shamar /shaw•mar/] v. keep )上帝的誡命和律例，達成了上帝的吩咐，也是為自己求得多福。
6） 要將心裏的污穢除掉：除掉（ מוּל, מוּל [muwl /mool/] v. circumcise; ）直譯的話，便是「你們要割去心裏（foreskin）的陽皮」，或「你們要在心上行割禮」。割禮乃是上帝與亞伯拉罕和其後裔立約的記號（參創17: 9～14）：不受割禮的，就是不遵守這約的人，便不是上帝立約的子民，不但不在上帝的約的護佑之下，乃是背叛上帝的人, 不過聖潔的生活。不要再硬著頸項，不遵守主的命令的人。
7） 要憐愛寄居的，因為以色列人在埃及地也作過寄居的。（申命記 10:19）
對我們的提醒：求上帝幫助我，能夠懷者感恩的心，多認識這位耶和華以色列人的神，是怎樣的上帝？敬畏耶和華你的神；遵行上帝的誡命律例；遵行祂的道， 要盡心、盡性、盡力、愛耶和華你的上帝, 盡心盡性事奉上帝:每天來到主前，求主赦免， 將我們心裏的污穢除掉; 不要再硬著頸項，學習謙卑，順服的功課。我們的弟兄姐妹，不要忘記我們在世是客居的， 要愛寄居的. 向他們傳福音，領人歸主。
