15:1 回答柔和，使怒消退；言語暴戾，觸動怒氣。
15:2 智慧人的舌善發知識；愚昧人的口吐出愚昧。
15:3 耶和華的眼目無處不在；惡人善人，他都鑒察。
15:4 溫良的舌是生命樹；乖謬的嘴使人心碎。
15:5 愚妄人藐視父親的管教；領受責備的，得著見識。
15:6 義人家中多有財寶；惡人得利反受擾害。
15:7 智慧人的嘴播揚知識；愚昧人的心並不如此。
15:8 惡人獻祭，為耶和華所憎惡；正直人祈禱，為他所喜悅。
默想: 人的言語，常常決定這個人是否有智慧。因為開口說話很容易，只要你有一張嘴，你就可以可以說話。但是，把話說好卻不容易。太多時候，我們在不該說的時候說、說了不該說的事、對著不該講的人講、用著不該用的方式說。然後，我們為著自己所說出的話，後悔不已，甚至蒙受痛苦。為什麼呢？因為，說話太簡單了，但是把話說好，卻需要相當的智慧。
箴言說：「回答柔和，使怒消退；言語暴戾，觸動怒氣。」「溫良的舌是生命樹；乖謬的嘴使人心碎」。一個人如果只有在情感、意念上想要當個好人，但是在話語的表達上不能好好的說，他就不能算是一個好人。「刀子嘴，豆腐心」，使人受傷的，永遠是刀子，而豆腐是不能醫治人的。
題目: 本章經文中教導我們，言語和人際互動有什麼關係呢？
15:1 回答柔和，使怒消退；言語暴戾，觸動怒氣。
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
15:2 智慧人的舌善發知識；愚昧人的口吐出愚昧。
The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness. poureth: Heb. belcheth, or, bubbleth
15:3 耶和華的眼目無處不在；惡人善人，他都鑒察。
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
15:4 溫良的舌是生命樹；乖謬的嘴使人心碎。
A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. A wholesome...: Heb. The healing of the tongue
15:5 愚妄人藐視父親的管教；領受責備的，得著見識。
A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.
15:6 義人家中多有財寶；惡人得利反受擾害。
In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.
15:7 智慧人的嘴播揚知識；愚昧人的心並不如此。
The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.
15:8 惡人獻祭，為耶和華所憎惡；正直人祈禱，為他所喜悅。
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
15:9 惡人的道路，為耶和華所憎惡；追求公義的，為他所喜愛。
The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
15:10 捨棄正路的，必受嚴刑；恨惡責備的，必致死亡。
Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die. Correction: or, Instruction
15:11 陰間和滅亡尚在耶和華眼前，何況世人的心呢？
Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?
15:12 褻慢人不愛受責備；他也不就近智慧人。
A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.
15:13 心中喜樂，面帶笑容；心裡憂愁，靈被損傷。
A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
15:14 聰明人心求知識；愚昧人口吃愚昧。
The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.
15:15 困苦人的日子都是愁苦；心中歡暢的，常享豐筵。
All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.
15:16 少有財寶，敬畏耶和華，強如多有財寶，煩亂不安。
Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.
15:17 吃素菜，彼此相愛，強如吃肥牛，彼此相恨。
Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.
15:18 暴怒的人挑啟爭端；忍怒的人止息紛爭。
A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
15:19 懶惰人的道像荊棘的籬笆；正直人的路是平坦的大道。
The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain. is made...: Heb. is raised up as a causey
15:20 智慧子使父親喜樂；愚昧人藐視母親。
A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.
15:21 無知的人以愚妄為樂；聰明的人按正直而行。
Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly. destitute...: Heb. void of heart
15:22 不先商議，所謀無效；謀士眾多，所謀乃成。
Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.
15:23 口善應對，自覺喜樂；話合其時，何等美好。
A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it ! due...: Heb. his season
15:24 智慧人從生命的道上升，使他遠離在下的陰間。
The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.
15:25 耶和華必拆毀驕傲人的家，卻要立定寡婦的地界。
The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow.
15:26 惡謀為耶和華所憎惡；良言乃為純淨。
The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words. pleasant...: Heb. words of pleasantness
15:27 貪戀財利的，擾害己家；恨惡賄賂的，必得存活。
He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.
15:28 義人的心，思量如何回答；惡人的口吐出惡言。
The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
15:29 耶和華遠離惡人，卻聽義人的禱告。
The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
15:30 眼有光，使心喜樂；好信息，使骨滋潤。
The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.
15:31 聽從生命責備的，必常在智慧人中。
The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.
15:32 棄絕管教的，輕看自己的生命；聽從責備的，卻得智慧。
He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding. instruction: or, correction heareth: or, obeyeth getteth...: Heb. possesseth an heart
15:33 敬畏耶和華是智慧的訓誨；尊榮以前，必有謙卑。
The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
