W4 2013-09-19 箴言27
27:1 不要為明日自誇，因為一日要生何事，你尚且不能知道。
27:2 要別人誇獎你，不可用口自誇；等外人稱讚你，不可用嘴自稱。
27:3 石頭重，沙土沉，愚妄人的惱怒比這兩樣更重。
27:4 忿怒為殘忍，怒氣為狂瀾，惟有嫉妒，誰能敵得住呢？
27:5 當面的責備強如背地的愛情。
27:6 朋友加的傷痕出於忠誠；仇敵連連親嘴卻是多餘。
27:7 人吃飽了，厭惡蜂房的蜜；人飢餓了，一切苦物都覺甘甜。
27:8 人離本處飄流，好像雀鳥離窩遊飛。
27:9 膏油與香料使人心喜悅；朋友誠實的勸教也是如此甘美。
27:10 你的朋友和父親的朋友，你都不可離棄。你遭難的日子，不要上弟兄的家去；相近的鄰舍強如遠方的弟兄。
默想: 真正的朋友會為我們的成功而高興，也為我們的失敗而難過。所以，愛我們的朋友會提供我們發自內心真誠的建議與幫助。朋友，會指出我們的盲點、缺點，為的是希望我們能夠更好。所以箴言說：「朋友加的傷痕出於忠誠」。
但是人們的問題，就是喜歡聽好聽的話，容易將自己的問題、責任，怪罪到其他的人、事、物上。一個好的朋友，不是聽我們抱怨之後，和我們一起怪東怪西怪別人；而是在我們抒發完不滿、挫折後，能給我們真實建議的人。也是在我們志得意滿、自覺得功成名就之時，提醒我們「掌聲之後，接下來是更大的挑戰」。
我們要小心，不限於偏聽，也不要拒絕朋友出於好意的建言。若我們只聽順耳的話語，最後，必然失去真正的友誼。
題目: 你對於本章箴言有關朋友的教導，有什麼感想呢？
27:1 不要為明日自誇，因為一日要生何事，你尚且不能知道。
Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. to...: Heb. to morrow day
27:2 要別人誇獎你，不可用口自誇；等外人稱讚你，不可用嘴自稱。
Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.
27:3 石頭重，沙土沉，愚妄人的惱怒比這兩樣更重。
A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool's wrath is heavier than them both. heavy: Heb. heaviness
27:4 忿怒為殘忍，怒氣為狂瀾，惟有嫉妒，誰能敵得住呢？
Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy? Wrath...: Heb. Wrath is cruelty, and anger an overflowing envy: or, jealousy?
27:5 當面的責備強如背地的愛情。
Open rebuke is better than secret love.
27:6 朋友加的傷痕出於忠誠；仇敵連連親嘴卻是多餘。
Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. deceitful: or, earnest, or, frequent
27:7 人吃飽了，厭惡蜂房的蜜；人飢餓了，一切苦物都覺甘甜。
The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet. loatheth: Heb. treadeth under foot
27:8 人離本處飄流，好像雀鳥離窩遊飛。
As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so is a man that wandereth from his place.
27:9 膏油與香料使人心喜悅；朋友誠實的勸教也是如此甘美。
Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel. by...: Heb. from the counsel of the soul
27:10 你的朋友和父親的朋友，你都不可離棄。你遭難的日子，不要上弟兄的家去；相近的鄰舍強如遠方的弟兄。
Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.
27:11 我兒，你要作智慧人，好叫我的心歡喜，使我可以回答那譏誚我的人。
My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me.
27:12 通達人見禍藏躲；愚蒙人前往受害。
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.
27:13 誰為生人作保，就拿誰的衣服；誰為外女作保，誰就承當。
Take his garment that is surety for a stranger, and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.
27:14 清晨起來，大聲給朋友祝福的，就算是咒詛他。
He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him.
27:15 大雨之日連連滴漏，和爭吵的婦人一樣；
A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.
27:16 想攔阻她的，便是攔阻風，也是右手抓油。
Whosoever hideth her hideth the wind, and the ointment of his right hand, which bewrayeth itself .
27:17 鐵磨鐵，磨出刃來；朋友相感（原文是磨朋友的臉）也是如此。
Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
27:18 看守無花果樹的，必吃樹上的果子；敬奉主人的，必得尊榮。
Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.
27:19 水中照臉，彼此相符；人與人，心也相對。
As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.
27:20 陰間和滅亡永不滿足；人的眼目也是如此。
Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. never: Heb. not
27:21 鼎為煉銀，爐為煉金，人的稱讚也試煉人。
As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise.
27:22 你雖用杵將愚妄人與打碎的麥子一同搗在臼中，他的愚妄還是離不了他。
Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him.
27:23 你要詳細知道你羊群的景況，留心料理你的牛群；
Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds. look...: Heb. set thy heart
27:24 因為資財不能永有，冠冕豈能存到萬代？
For riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every generation? riches: Heb. strength to...: Heb. to generation and generation?
27:25 乾草割去，嫩草發現，山上的菜蔬也被收斂。
The hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered.
27:26 羊羔之毛是為你作衣服；山羊是為作田地的價值，
The lambs are for thy clothing, and the goats are the price of the field.
27:27 並有母山羊奶夠你吃，也夠你的家眷吃，且夠養你的婢女。
And thou shalt have goats' milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance for thy maidens. maintenance: Heb. life
