W1 2013-09-30 提摩太後書3 
3:1 你該知道，末世必有危險的日子來到。
3:2 因為那時，人要專顧自己，貪愛錢財，自誇，狂傲，謗讟，違背父母，忘恩負義，心不聖潔，
3:3 無親情，不解怨，好說讒言，不能自約，性情凶暴，不愛良善，
3:4 賣主賣友，任意妄為，自高自大，愛宴樂，不愛　神，
3:5 有敬虔的外貌，卻背了敬虔的實意；這等人你要躲開。
3:6 那偷進人家、牢籠無知婦女的，正是這等人。這些婦女擔負罪惡，被各樣的私慾引誘，
3:7 常常學習，終久不能明白真道。
3:8 從前雅尼和佯庇怎樣敵擋摩西，這等人也怎樣敵擋真道。他們的心地壞了，在真道上是可廢棄的。
3:9 然而他們不能再這樣敵擋；因為他們的愚昧必在眾人面前顯露出來，像那二人一樣。

默想: 保羅一口氣洋洋灑灑地羅列了十九項末世人們會出現的特質。這些特質很多是高傲自大，目中無人，自以為是，體貼肉體的特質。如果我們仔細看經文，會發現，這並不是用來描寫會外之人的敗壞，而是用來說明教會內在末世之時，會有不少這些假信徒。他們外表看起來是相信有上帝的，可能也有敬虔的外貌，但是卻是以自我為中心，這些人他們的生命中沒有上帝，他們也沒有真正的悔改與生命真實的改變。雖然他們可能有宗教的形式，但是卻沒有信仰所帶來的生命。只是個掛名的基督徒，但是他們掛上基督徒之名，可能是希望讓人覺得他是一個敬虔之人，卻不願真正的離開罪惡。這樣的人，是無法真正遵行主道，相反他們只會敗壞教會，使上帝國的名受損。
求神幫助我們，讓我們時常反省我們的生命，我們是掛名的基督徒嗎？還是我們的生命真實地在耶穌基督裡改變，讓我們將自己的主權交給耶穌，學習順服他的旨意、他的價值、他的命令來行。

題目: 根據本章經文，末世來臨時人會有那些變化呢？

 

3:1 你該知道，末世必有危險的日子來到。
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
3:2 因為那時，人要專顧自己，貪愛錢財，自誇，狂傲，謗讟，違背父母，忘恩負義，心不聖潔，
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3:3 無親情，不解怨，好說讒言，不能自約，性情凶暴，不愛良善，
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, false...: or, one who foments strife
3:4 賣主賣友，任意妄為，自高自大，愛宴樂，不愛　神，
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
3:5 有敬虔的外貌，卻背了敬虔的實意；這等人你要躲開。
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
3:6 那偷進人家、牢籠無知婦女的，正是這等人。這些婦女擔負罪惡，被各樣的私慾引誘，
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
3:7 常常學習，終久不能明白真道。
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
3:8 從前雅尼和佯庇怎樣敵擋摩西，這等人也怎樣敵擋真道。他們的心地壞了，在真道上是可廢棄的。
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. reprobate: or, of no judgment
3:9 然而他們不能再這樣敵擋；因為他們的愚昧必在眾人面前顯露出來，像那二人一樣。
But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men , as theirs also was.
3:10 但你已經服從了我的教訓、品行、志向、信心、寬容、愛心、忍耐，
But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, fully...: or, been a diligent follower of
3:11 以及我在安提阿、以哥念、路司得所遭遇的逼迫、苦難。我所忍受是何等的逼迫；但從這一切苦難中，主都把我救出來了。
Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
3:12 不但如此，凡立志在基督耶穌裡敬虔度日的也都要受逼迫。
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
3:13 只是作惡的和迷惑人的，必越久越惡，他欺哄人，也被人欺哄。
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
3:14 但你所學習的，所確信的，要存在心裡；因為你知道是跟誰學的，
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them ;
3:15 並且知道你是從小明白聖經，這聖經能使你因信基督耶穌，有得救的智慧。
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
3:16 聖經都是　神所默示的（或譯：凡　神所默示的聖經），於教訓、督責、使人歸正、教導人學義都是有益的，
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
3:17 叫屬　神的人得以完全，預備行各樣的善事。
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. throughly...: or, perfected

2:1 我兒啊，你要在基督耶穌的恩典上剛強起來。
2:2 你在許多見證人面前聽見我所教訓的，也要交託那忠心能教導別人的人。
2:3 你要和我同受苦難，好像基督耶穌的精兵。
2:4 凡在軍中當兵的，不將世務纏身，好叫那招他當兵的人喜悅。
2:5 人若在場上比武，非按規矩，就不能得冠冕。
2:6 勞力的農夫理當先得糧食。
2:7 我所說的話，你要思想，因為凡事主必給你聰明。

默想: 保羅對提摩太的勸勉有兩個大主題，一個是要他成為基督耶穌的精兵。一個是要他做一個無愧的工人。
關於精兵就是要他能夠守真道，將這道交託能夠忠心教導別人的人。凡事不求人的喜悅，乃是要求召他的主喜悅。
要成為一個無愧的工人，保羅勉勵提摩太要按著正意分解真道，選避世俗的虛談，為要保持自己的敬虔。同時保羅提醒提摩太，要追求聖潔好讓自己成為貴重的器皿，合乎主用。
求上帝幫助我們，我們每一個在真道追尋的人，不是為了高舉自己，不是為了自己的名聲，乃是為要向主盡忠，忠心地持守真道，成為主忠信的僕人。

題目: 保羅在本章經文中，對於年輕的提摩太有那些勸勉呢？

 

2:1 我兒啊，你要在基督耶穌的恩典上剛強起來。
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2:2 你在許多見證人面前聽見我所教訓的，也要交託那忠心能教導別人的人。
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. among: or, by
2:3 你要和我同受苦難，好像基督耶穌的精兵。
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2:4 凡在軍中當兵的，不將世務纏身，好叫那招他當兵的人喜悅。
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
2:5 人若在場上比武，非按規矩，就不能得冠冕。
And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
2:6 勞力的農夫理當先得糧食。
The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. that...: or, labouring first, must be partaker of the fruits
2:7 我所說的話，你要思想，因為凡事主必給你聰明。
Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
2:8 你要記念耶穌基督乃是大衛的後裔，他從死裡復活，正合乎我所傳的福音。
Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
2:9 我為這福音受苦難，甚至被捆綁，像犯人一樣。然而　神的道卻不被捆綁。
Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
2:10 所以，我為選民凡事忍耐，叫他們也可以得著那在基督耶穌裡的救恩和永遠的榮耀。
Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
2:11 有可信的話說：我們若與基督同死，也必與他同活；
It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him , we shall also live with him :
2:12 我們若能忍耐，也必和他一同作王。我們若不認他，他也必不認我們；
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him : if we deny him , he also will deny us:
2:13 我們縱然失信，他仍是可信的，因為他不能背乎自己。
If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
2:14 你要使眾人回想這些事，在主面前囑咐他們：不可為言語爭辯；這是沒有益處的，只能敗壞聽見的人。
Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
2:15 你當竭力在　神面前得蒙喜悅，作無愧的工人，按著正意分解真理的道。
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2:16 但要遠避世俗的虛談，因為這等人必進到更不敬虔的地步。
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
2:17 他們的話如同毒瘡，越爛越大；其中有許米乃和腓理徒，
And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; canker: or, gangrene
2:18 他們偏離了真道，說復活的事已過，就敗壞好些人的信心。
Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
2:19 然而，　神堅固的根基立住了；上面有這印記說：「主認識誰是他的人」；又說：「凡稱呼主名的人總要離開不義。」
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. sure: or, steady
2:20 在大戶人家，不但有金器銀器，也有木器瓦器；有作為貴重的，有作為卑賤的。
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
2:21 人若自潔，脫離卑賤的事，就必作貴重的器皿，成為聖潔，合乎主用，預備行各樣的善事。
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
2:22 你要逃避少年的私慾，同那清心禱告主的人追求公義、信德、仁愛、和平。
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2:23 惟有那愚拙無學問的辯論，總要棄絕，因為知道這等事是起爭競的。
But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
2:24 然而主的僕人不可爭競，只要溫溫和和地待眾人，善於教導，存心忍耐，
And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men , apt to teach, patient, patient: or, forbearing
2:25 用溫柔勸戒那抵擋的人；或者　神給他們悔改的心，可以明白真道，
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
2:26 叫他們這已經被魔鬼任意擄去的，可以醒悟，脫離他的網羅。
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. recover...: Gr. awake taken...: Gr. taken alive

1:1 奉　神旨意，照著在基督耶穌裡生命的應許，作基督耶穌使徒的保羅
1:2 寫信給我親愛的兒子提摩太。願恩惠、憐憫、平安從父　神和我們主基督耶穌歸與你！
1:3 我感謝　神，就是我接續祖先用清潔的良心所事奉的　神。祈禱的時候，不住的想念你，
1:4 記念你的眼淚，晝夜切切地想要見你，好叫我滿心快樂。
1:5 想到你心裡無偽之信，這信是先在你外祖母羅以和你母親友妮基心裡的，我深信也在你的心裡。
1:6 為此我提醒你，使你將　神藉我按手所給你的恩賜再如火挑旺起來。
1:7 因為　神賜給我們，不是膽怯的心，乃是剛強、仁愛、謹守的心。

默想: 提摩太信仰一開始是由他的外祖母羅以傳給母親友尼基再傳給提摩太的，他們帶領提摩太走在信心的道路。保羅似乎認識羅以與友尼基，所以特別向提摩太強調他們信心的情形，保羅認為提摩太的「無偽之信」是傳承自他的外祖母。
保羅故意提起上帝怎樣在他的外祖母與母親身上所做的工，藉些提醒提摩太，要提摩太再次剛強起來，不要忘記上帝的信實與保守，讓他能夠持守信仰好接續從祖母開始用清潔的良心所事奉的神。
對我們而言有一個重要的提醒：家庭是信仰承傳的中心，我們的孩子信仰的根基是奠基在父母、家人的信仰。若我們行事為人，處處反映出上帝對我們的選召；我們的態度價值，時時反映出耶穌基督對我們的影響，相信我們的孩子，會從中得到啟發與幫助。提摩太的「無偽之信」正是祖母、母親真實信仰所孕育出來的。

題目: 你對於羅以如何將信仰傳給提摩太，有什麼感想呢？

 

1:1 奉　神旨意，照著在基督耶穌裡生命的應許，作基督耶穌使徒的保羅
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
1:2 寫信給我親愛的兒子提摩太。願恩惠、憐憫、平安從父　神和我們主基督耶穌歸與你！
To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
1:3 我感謝　神，就是我接續祖先用清潔的良心所事奉的　神。祈禱的時候，不住的想念你，
I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
1:4 記念你的眼淚，晝夜切切地想要見你，好叫我滿心快樂。
Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy; Greatly...: or, remembering thy tears, I greatly desire to see thee that
1:5 想到你心裡無偽之信，這信是先在你外祖母羅以和你母親友妮基心裡的，我深信也在你的心裡。
When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
1:6 為此我提醒你，使你將　神藉我按手所給你的恩賜再如火挑旺起來。
Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
1:7 因為　神賜給我們，不是膽怯的心，乃是剛強、仁愛、謹守的心。
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
1:8 你不要以給我們的主作見證為恥，也不要以我這為主被囚的為恥；總要按　神的能力，與我為福音同受苦難。
Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
1:9 　神救了我們，以聖召召我們，不是按我們的行為，乃是按他的旨意和恩典；這恩典是萬古之先，在基督耶穌裡賜給我們的，
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
1:10 但如今藉著我們救主基督耶穌的顯現才表明出來了。他已經把死廢去，藉著福音，將不能壞的生命彰顯出來。
But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
1:11 我為這福音奉派作傳道的，作使徒，作師傅。
Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
1:12 為這緣故，我也受這些苦難。然而我不以為恥；因為知道我所信的是誰，也深信他能保全我所交付他的（或譯：他所交託我的），直到那日。
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. believed: or, trusted
1:13 你從我聽的那純正話語的規模，要用在基督耶穌裡的信心和愛心，常常守著。
Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
1:14 從前所交託你的善道，你要靠著那住在我們裡面的聖靈牢牢地守著。
That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.
1:15 凡在亞細亞的人都離棄我，這是你知道的，其中有腓吉路和黑摩其尼。
This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
1:16 願主憐憫阿尼色弗一家的人；因他屢次使我暢快，不以我的鎖鍊為恥，
The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:
1:17 反倒在羅馬的時候，殷勤地找我，並且找著了。
But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me .
1:18 願主使他在那日得主的憐憫。他在以弗所怎樣多多地服事我，是你明明知道的。
The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.

31:1 利慕伊勒王的言語，是他母親教訓他的真言。
31:2 我的兒啊，我腹中生的兒啊，我許願得的兒啊！我當怎樣教訓你呢？
31:3 不要將你的精力給婦女；也不要有敗壞君王的行為。
31:4 利慕伊勒啊，君王喝酒，君王喝酒不相宜；王子說濃酒在那裡也不相宜；
31:5 恐怕喝了就忘記律例，顛倒一切困苦人的是非。
31:6 可以把濃酒給將亡的人喝，把清酒給苦心的人喝，
31:7 讓他喝了，就忘記他的貧窮，不再記念他的苦楚。
31:8 你當為啞巴（或譯：不能自辯的）開口，為一切孤獨的伸冤。
31:9 你當開口按公義判斷，為困苦和窮乏的辨屈。
31:10 才德的婦人誰能得著呢？她的價值遠勝過珍珠。
31:11 她丈夫心裡倚靠她，必不缺少利益；
31:12 她一生使丈夫有益無損。


默想: 利慕伊勒王的母親給他的勸戒，提醒他身為一個君王，要避免縱情沉迷於酒色之中。(2-7)而是要盡一個君王的責任，其中最重要的一個責任就是要能夠替弱勢者伸冤(8-9，那些孤獨的、困苦和窮乏的人，就是需要君王來替他們辯護、維護他們的權益。最後，講到才德的婦人，這段「真言」也是箴言三十一章最為人所熟知，因為當中詳細羅列了一個理想的妻子的特質。
這段經文，是「皇太后」給帝王的提醒，要他看重自己的身份，了解自己的責任，避免自己去落入縱情聲色的生活。然後提醒他，身為一國之君，挑選妻子，不是選擇美麗而無智慧、才德的女子。而是要看重她的才能，在工作、能力、時間的分配上都有智慧，這妻子要能夠照顧好自己的家庭，在各樣的家務上勞心勞力，不過度享受，又能替家庭開源節流，一心一意努力地為家庭奉獻。我想，這樣的標準今天來看，是非常不易的事，但是，可以說是一個完美的典範，值得努力去達成。

題目: 你對於利慕伊勒王的母親給他的真言內容，有何感想呢？

 

31:1 利慕伊勒王的言語，是他母親教訓他的真言。
The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.
31:2 我的兒啊，我腹中生的兒啊，我許願得的兒啊！我當怎樣教訓你呢？
What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?
31:3 不要將你的精力給婦女；也不要有敗壞君王的行為。
Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
31:4 利慕伊勒啊，君王喝酒，君王喝酒不相宜；王子說濃酒在那裡也不相宜；
It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
31:5 恐怕喝了就忘記律例，顛倒一切困苦人的是非。
Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. prevert: Heb. alter of any...: Heb. of all the sons of affliction
31:6 可以把濃酒給將亡的人喝，把清酒給苦心的人喝，
Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. of...: Heb. bitter of soul
31:7 讓他喝了，就忘記他的貧窮，不再記念他的苦楚。
Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
31:8 你當為啞巴（或譯：不能自辯的）開口，為一切孤獨的伸冤。
Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. such...: Heb. the sons of destruction
31:9 你當開口按公義判斷，為困苦和窮乏的辨屈。
Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
31:10 才德的婦人誰能得著呢？她的價值遠勝過珍珠。
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
31:11 她丈夫心裡倚靠她，必不缺少利益；
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
31:12 她一生使丈夫有益無損。
She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
31:13 她尋找羊羢和麻，甘心用手做工。
She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
31:14 她好像商船從遠方運糧來，
She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
31:15 未到黎明她就起來，把食物分給家中的人，將當做的工分派婢女。
She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
31:16 她想得田地就買來；用手所得之利栽種葡萄園。
She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. buyeth: Heb. taketh
31:17 她以能力束腰，使膀臂有力。

She maketh fine linen, and selleth it ; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
31:25 能力和威儀是她的衣服；她想到日後的景況就喜笑。
Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
31:26 她開口就發智慧；她舌上有仁慈的法則。
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
31:27 她觀察家務，並不吃閒飯。
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
31:28 她的兒女起來稱她有福；她的丈夫也稱讚她，
Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also , and he praiseth her.
31:29 說：才德的女子很多，惟獨你超過一切。
Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. have...: or, have gotten riches
31:30 艷麗是虛假的，美容是虛浮的；惟敬畏耶和華的婦女必得稱讚。
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31:31 願她享受操作所得的；願她的工作在城門口榮耀她。

30:1 雅基的兒子亞古珥的言語就是真言。這人對以鐵和烏甲說：
30:2 我比眾人更蠢笨，也沒有人的聰明。
30:3 我沒有學好智慧，也不認識至聖者。
30:4 誰升天又降下來？誰聚風在掌握中？誰包水在衣服裡？誰立定地的四極？他名叫甚麼？他兒子名叫甚麼？你知道嗎？
30:5 　神的言語句句都是煉淨的；投靠他的，他便作他們的盾牌。
30:6 他的言語，你不可加添，恐怕他責備你，你就顯為說謊言的。
30:7 我求你兩件事，在我未死之先，不要不賜給我：
30:8 求你使虛假和謊言遠離我；使我也不貧窮也不富足；賜給我需用的飲食，
30:9 恐怕我飽足不認你，說：耶和華是誰呢？又恐怕我貧窮就偷竊，以致褻瀆我　神的名。 

默想: 亞古珥是一個外邦人的名字，這個名字在聖經其他的地方並未出現。從名字來看，是出於亞拉伯文。亞古珥說他是一個比眾人更蠢笨，也沒有人的聰明(1)，並沒他沒有學好智慧，也不認識至聖者(2)。從他的自我介紹中，可以說是「先天不足，後天也沒有比較高明」。這樣一個很普通的人，為什麼他的話語被收錄在聖經中呢？重要的是，他雖然沒有眾人的智慧，又在成長的過程中，沒有機會一開始就認識上帝。但是在某種的際遇中，他遇見了神。所以他有一點像「第一代」信徒，是一個「後發先至」的智者，在上帝的感動下，他寫下了這些有智慧的言語。
在亞古珥的「真言」中，我們看見一個特色，就是他用很多生活中的事情來描述生命中的智慧。(15-16；18-20；21-23…)正因為他所舉的例子都是人們生活中，淺顯易於理解、更生生活中常常經歷的事，所以，這種生活的智慧，往往超過深奧難懂的哲理，讓人更容易理解領悟。也許正因為他所講說的智慧是如此的淺顯易懂，所以以色列人特別將他所講論的「真言」收錄在「箴言」之中。對於我們而言，也是如此，我們大多數人都是普通人，但是平凡並不代表我們就註定庸碌，只要我們用心去認識上帝，體會上帝的恩典，在平凡中，我們仍可以擁有屬天的智慧，做出正確的選擇來回應上帝的恩典。

題目: 你認為本章箴言的作者亞古珥，有那些智慧呢？

 

30:1 雅基的兒子亞古珥的言語就是真言。這人對以鐵和烏甲說：
The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spake unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal,
30:2 我比眾人更蠢笨，也沒有人的聰明。
Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man.
30:3 我沒有學好智慧，也不認識至聖者。
I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy. have: Heb. know
30:4 誰升天又降下來？誰聚風在掌握中？誰包水在衣服裡？誰立定地的四極？他名叫甚麼？他兒子名叫甚麼？你知道嗎？
Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
30:5 　神的言語句句都是煉淨的；投靠他的，他便作他們的盾牌。
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. pure: Heb. purified
30:6 他的言語，你不可加添，恐怕他責備你，你就顯為說謊言的。
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
30:7 我求你兩件事，在我未死之先，不要不賜給我：
Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: deny...: Heb. withhold not from me
30:8 求你使虛假和謊言遠離我；使我也不貧窮也不富足；賜給我需用的飲食，
Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: convenient...: Heb. of my allowance
30:9 恐怕我飽足不認你，說：耶和華是誰呢？又恐怕我貧窮就偷竊，以致褻瀆我　神的名。
Lest I be full, and deny thee , and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain . deny...: Heb. belie thee
30:10 你不要向主人讒謗僕人，恐怕他咒詛你，你便算為有罪。
Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty. Accuse...: Heb. Hurt not with thy tongue
30:11 有一宗人（宗：原文是代；下同），咒詛父親，不給母親祝福。
There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
30:12 有一宗人，自以為清潔，卻沒有洗去自己的污穢。
There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
30:13 有一宗人，眼目何其高傲，眼皮也是高舉。
There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
30:14 有一宗人，牙如劍，齒如刀，要吞滅地上的困苦人和世間的窮乏人。
There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.
30:15 螞蟥有兩個女兒，常說：給呀，給呀！有三樣不知足的，連不說「夠的」共有四樣：
The horseleach hath two daughters, crying , Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea , four things say not, It is enough: It is...: Heb. Wealth
30:16 就是陰間和石胎，浸水不足的地，並火。
The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough.
30:17 戲笑父親、藐視而不聽從母親的，他的眼睛必為谷中的烏鴉啄出來，為鷹雛所吃。
The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it. the valley: or, the brook
30:18 我所測不透的奇妙有三樣，連我所不知道的共有四樣：
There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:
30:19 就是鷹在空中飛的道；蛇在磐石上爬的道；船在海中行的道；男與女交合的道。
The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid. midst: Heb. heart
30:20 淫婦的道也是這樣：她吃了，把嘴一擦就說：我沒有行惡。
Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.
30:21 使地震動的有三樣，連地擔不起的共有四樣：
For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear:
30:22 就是僕人作王；愚頑人吃飽；
For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat;
30:23 醜惡的女子出嫁；婢女接續主母。
For an odious woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.
30:24 地上有四樣小物，卻甚聰明：
There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: exceeding...: Heb. wise, made wise
30:25 螞蟻是無力之類，卻在夏天預備糧食。
The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
30:26 沙番是軟弱之類，卻在磐石中造房。
The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
30:27 蝗蟲沒有君王，卻分隊而出。
The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands; by...: Heb. gathered together
30:28 守宮用爪抓牆，卻住在王宮。
The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.
30:29 步行威武的有三樣，連行走威武的共有四樣：
There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going:
30:30 就是獅子─乃百獸中最為猛烈、無所躲避的，
A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;
30:31 獵狗，公山羊，和無人能敵的君王。
A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up. greyhound: or, horse: Heb. girt in the loins
30:32 你若行事愚頑，自高自傲，或是懷了惡念，就當用手摀口。
If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.
30:33 搖牛奶必成奶油；扭鼻子必出血。照樣，激動怒氣必起爭端。
Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.

29:1 人屢次受責罰，仍然硬著頸項；他必頃刻敗壞，無法可治。
29:2 義人增多，民就喜樂；惡人掌權，民就歎息。
29:3 愛慕智慧的，使父親喜樂；與妓女結交的，卻浪費錢財。
29:4 王藉公平，使國堅定；索要賄賂，使國傾敗。
29:5 諂媚鄰舍的，就是設網羅絆他的腳。
29:6 惡人犯罪，自陷網羅；惟獨義人歡呼喜樂。
29:7 義人知道查明窮人的案；惡人沒有聰明，就不得而知。
29:8 褻慢人煽惑通城；智慧人止息眾怒。
29:9 智慧人與愚妄人相爭，或怒或笑，總不能使他止息。
29:10 好流人血的，恨惡完全人，索取正直人的性命。
29:11 愚妄人怒氣全發；智慧人忍氣含怒。
29:12 君王若聽謊言，他一切臣僕都是奸惡。
29:13 貧窮人、強暴人在世相遇；他們的眼目都蒙耶和華光照。
29:14 君王憑誠實判斷窮人；他的國位必永遠堅立。

默想: 君王是上帝所設立，他在世上的主要目的，是實踐上帝的公平正義。所以，王若公平，國便堅定。王若貪財索賄，國便傾敗(4)。事實上，不論是一位國王、公司的主管，家中的父母，團體的領導者，公平是一件重要的事。私心、偏頗、不公，會使得人們失去信心，也讓人覺得心中不平，而不再願意跟隨相信 。
所以箴言提醒一個君王(領導者)很重要的是必須憑誠實來判斷，他若聽信謊言，那麼他底下的人就都必成為好奉承、奸辟的人(12)。若我們想要成為一個好的領導者，我們就要問，我們在職場上、工作中、團體裡，我是否是一個公正、公平的人？我是否能有偏聽？我是否能夠憑真理來辨明是非？我們有沒有常常在聖靈的提醒下，注意到，我是上帝所設立在這個位置上的器皿，為了要在這個地方顯明上帝的恩典。求上帝幫助我們，成為一位有智慧，能明辨公道、是非的人。

29:1 人屢次受責罰，仍然硬著頸項；他必頃刻敗壞，無法可治。
He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. He...: Heb. A man of reproofs
29:2 義人增多，民就喜樂；惡人掌權，民就歎息。
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. in...: or, increased
29:3 愛慕智慧的，使父親喜樂；與妓女結交的，卻浪費錢財。
Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth his substance.
29:4 王藉公平，使國堅定；索要賄賂，使國傾敗。
The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it. he...: Heb. a man of oblations
29:5 諂媚鄰舍的，就是設網羅絆他的腳。
A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.
29:6 惡人犯罪，自陷網羅；惟獨義人歡呼喜樂。
In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.
29:7 義人知道查明窮人的案；惡人沒有聰明，就不得而知。
The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it .
29:8 褻慢人煽惑通城；智慧人止息眾怒。
Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath. bring...: or, set a city on fire
29:9 智慧人與愚妄人相爭，或怒或笑，總不能使他止息。
If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.
29:10 好流人血的，恨惡完全人，索取正直人的性命。
The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul. The bloodthirsty: Heb. Men of blood
29:11 愚妄人怒氣全發；智慧人忍氣含怒。
A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
29:12 君王若聽謊言，他一切臣僕都是奸惡。
If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
29:13 貧窮人、強暴人在世相遇；他們的眼目都蒙耶和華光照。
The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the LORD lighteneth both their eyes. the deceitful...: or, the usurer
29:14 君王憑誠實判斷窮人；他的國位必永遠堅立。
The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
29:15 杖打和責備能加增智慧；放縱的兒子使母親羞愧。
The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
29:16 惡人加多，過犯也加多，義人必看見他們跌倒。
When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
29:17 管教你的兒子，他就使你得安息，也必使你心裡喜樂。
Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.
29:18 沒有異象（或譯：默示），民就放肆；惟遵守律法的，便為有福。
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. perish: or, is made naked
29:19 只用言語，僕人不肯受管教；他雖然明白，也不留意。
A servant will not be corrected by words: for though he understand he will not answer.
29:20 你見言語急躁的人嗎？愚昧人比他更有指望。
Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him. words: or, matters?
29:21 人將僕人從小嬌養，這僕人終久必成了他的兒子。
He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.
29:22 好氣的人挑啟爭端；暴怒的人多多犯罪。
An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.
29:23 人的高傲必使他卑下；心裡謙遜的，必得尊榮。
A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
29:24 人與盜賊分贓，是恨惡自己的性命；他聽見叫人發誓的聲音，卻不言語。
Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not.
29:25 懼怕人的，陷入網羅；惟有倚靠耶和華的，必得安穩。
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe. safe: Heb. set on high
29:26 求王恩的人多；定人事乃在耶和華。
Many seek the ruler's favour; but every man's judgment cometh from the LORD. the ruler's...: Heb. the face of a ruler
29:27 為非作歹的，被義人憎嫌；行事正直的，被惡人憎惡。
An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.
