W4 2013-04-04 (約伯記28)
28:20 智慧從何處來呢？聰明之處在哪裡呢？
28:21 是向一切有生命的眼目隱藏，向空中的飛鳥掩蔽。
28:22 滅沒和死亡說：我們風聞其名。
28:23 神明白智慧的道路，曉得智慧的所在。
28:24 因他鑒察直到地極，遍觀普天之下，
28:25 要為風定輕重，又度量諸水；
28:26 他為雨露定命令，為雷電定道路。
28:27 那時他看見智慧，而且述說；他堅定，並且查究。
28:28 他對人說：敬畏主就是智慧；遠離惡便是聰明。
默想: 聖經上說，「敬畏耶和華是智慧的開端。」約伯則說：「敬畏主就是智慧，遠離惡便是聰明。」(27)約伯認為這個世界上的人，有許多人為了要追求金、良、寶物，什麼樣困難的方法，人都能想得出來(1-5)。什麼樣危險可怕的地方，人總是想辦法克服，為要得著這些寶物。(6-11)對於追求物質人總是汲汲營營，努力不懈。但是比這些更貴重的「智慧」何處可尋？智慧是向一切有生命的眼目隱藏。不知何處可以找到。除非認識上帝，方能尋得智慧，因為上帝是智慧的道路與所在。(23)約伯認為人若要真正找到智慧，就是要敬畏神，遠離惡事。
從約伯的言論當中，我們可以知道，自古至今，人類追求金銀財寶是努力再努力，打拼再打拼，許多人終其一生之力，就是要得著更多的財富。而人們選擇財富常常多過選擇智慧，這也反應了是敬拜瑪門或敬拜上帝的心態。真正的智慧在於敬畏神，遠離惡事，求神幫助我們，能夠真正活出這樣的生命。
題目: 你對於約伯的智慧論有何看法呢？
28:1 銀子有礦；煉金有方。
Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it . vein: or, mine
28:2 鐵從地裡挖出；銅從石中鎔化。
Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone. earth: or, dust
28:3 人為黑暗定界限，查究幽暗陰翳的石頭，直到極處，
He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.
28:4 在無人居住之處刨開礦穴，過路的人也想不到他們；又與人遠離，懸在空中搖來搖去。
The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.
28:5 至於地，能出糧食，地內好像被火翻起來。
As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.
28:6 地中的石頭有藍寶石，並有金沙。
The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold. dust...: or, gold ore
28:7 礦中的路鷙鳥不得知道；鷹眼也未見過。
There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen:
28:8 狂傲的野獸未曾行過；猛烈的獅子也未曾經過。
The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.
28:9 人伸手鑿開堅石，傾倒山根，
He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots. rock: or, flint
28:10 在磐石中鑿出水道，親眼看見各樣寶物。
He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.
28:11 他封閉水不得滴流，使隱藏的物顯露出來。
He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light. overflowing: Heb. weeping
28:12 然而，智慧有何處可尋？聰明之處在哪裡呢？
But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
28:13 智慧的價值無人能知，在活人之地也無處可尋。
Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.
28:14 深淵說：不在我內；滄海說：不在我中。
The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.
28:15 智慧非用黃金可得，也不能平白銀為它的價值。
It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof. It...: Heb. Fine gold shall not be given for it
28:16 俄斐金和貴重的紅瑪瑙，並藍寶石，不足與較量；
It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.
28:17 黃金和玻璃不足與比較；精金的器皿不足與兌換。
The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold. jewels...: or, vessels of
28:18 珊瑚、水晶都不足論；智慧的價值勝過珍珠（或譯：紅寶石）。
No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies. coral: or, Ramoth
28:19 古實的紅璧璽不足與比較；精金也不足與較量。
The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.
28:20 智慧從何處來呢？聰明之處在哪裡呢？
Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?
28:21 是向一切有生命的眼目隱藏，向空中的飛鳥掩蔽。
Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air. air: or, heaven
28:22 滅沒和死亡說：我們風聞其名。
Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.
28:23 神明白智慧的道路，曉得智慧的所在。
God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.
28:24 因他鑒察直到地極，遍觀普天之下，
For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;
28:25 要為風定輕重，又度量諸水；
To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.
28:26 他為雨露定命令，為雷電定道路。
When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:
28:27 那時他看見智慧，而且述說；他堅定，並且查究。
Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out. declare...: or, number it
28:28 他對人說：敬畏主就是智慧；遠離惡便是聰明。
And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
