W2 2013-04-02 (約伯記26)
26:5 在大水和水族以下的陰魂戰兢。
26:6 在 神面前，陰間顯露；滅亡也不得遮掩。
26:7 神將北極鋪在空中，將大地懸在虛空；
26:8 將水包在密雲中，雲卻不破裂；
26:9 遮蔽他的寶座，將雲鋪在其上；
26:10 在水面的周圍劃出界限，直到光明黑暗的交界。
26:11 天的柱子因他的斥責震動驚奇。
26:12 他以能力攪動（或譯：平靜）大海；他藉知識打傷拉哈伯，
26:13 藉他的靈使天有妝飾；他的手刺殺快蛇。
26:14 看哪，這不過是 神工作的些微；我們所聽於他的是何等細微的聲音！他大能的雷聲誰能明透呢？
默想: 約伯強調上帝是幫助「無能的人」、「膀臂無力的人」和「無智慧的人」事實上，這個無能、無力、無智慧的人其實是約伯對自己的描述。反觀約伯的朋友，他們拿自己與約伯對照，卻認為自己是有能、有力、有智慧的人。所以他們會用那種自以為是的態度對約伯指指點點，武斷地指責約伯。約伯一再地在他的申訴中，諷剌他的朋友們，他的朋友，也因此對約伯更加的不以為然。
約伯不再將他的焦點放在朋友上，而是轉向上帝，他認為上帝是掌管陰間的上帝，祂同時也是設立天地的主，上帝勝過一切萬物，不論是高山、大海、天空，海怪或是惡龍。這些都必須降服在上帝的大能底下。雖然描述了上帝有這麼多能力，但是人對上帝能力的認識卻是非常的有限、渺小的。
所以約伯承認自己是無能、無力、無智慧的人，相對的上帝是大有能力的，約伯將自己與上帝相對照，對此有深刻的體認。這也反應出約伯雖然對上帝有許多的疑問，不明白上帝為什麼上帝要這樣對待他，但是他卻沒有因此否認、貶抑上帝。回想我們在苦難中，我們也會發出質疑、我們會問上帝為何讓苦難臨到，甚至埋怨上帝讓我們受苦。約伯也都這麼做，這一點大家並沒有什麼不同。不過約伯可以讓我們學習的是，再多的疑問、怨埋，他都沒有否認過上帝的大能，當然他也沒有因此離開過上帝。從他的身上我們可以看到的是，我們的上帝並不是不能向他發出疑問，怨埋(其實上帝並沒有說約伯這樣做是對的，是好的，不過上帝似乎允許他這樣)。但是不要懷疑上帝的能力，或是因此離開上帝，這是我們從約伯那裡所學到的。
題目: 約伯在本章經文中描述神的那些能力呢？
26:1 約伯回答說：
But Job answered and said,
26:2 無能的人蒙你何等的幫助！膀臂無力的人蒙你何等的拯救！
How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
26:3 無智慧的人蒙你何等的指教！你向他多顯大知識！
How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
26:4 你向誰發出言語來？誰的靈從你而出？
To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
26:5 在大水和水族以下的陰魂戰兢。
Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof. and the...: or, with the inhabitants
26:6 在 神面前，陰間顯露；滅亡也不得遮掩。
Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
26:7 神將北極鋪在空中，將大地懸在虛空；
He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
26:8 將水包在密雲中，雲卻不破裂；
He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
26:9 遮蔽他的寶座，將雲鋪在其上；
He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
26:10 在水面的周圍劃出界限，直到光明黑暗的交界。
He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end. until...: Heb. until the end of light with darkness
26:11 天的柱子因他的斥責震動驚奇。
The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
26:12 他以能力攪動（或譯：平靜）大海；他藉知識打傷拉哈伯，
He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud. the proud: Heb. pride
26:13 藉他的靈使天有妝飾；他的手刺殺快蛇。
By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
26:14 看哪，這不過是 神工作的些微；我們所聽於他的是何等細微的聲音！他大能的雷聲誰能明透呢？
Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
