全新四年樂活讀經
經文: 歷代志下 28:23 他祭祀攻擊他的大馬色之神，說：「因為亞蘭王的神幫助他們，我也獻祭與他，他好幫助我。」但那些神使他和以色列眾人敗亡了。
默想: 亞哈斯王有一個很特別的邏輯，當他被大馬色的亞蘭王軍隊打敗，這是因為大馬色的神明比耶和華有能力的緣故，因此，我如果也來獻祭拜大馬色的神明，那麼他如果幫助我，我就可以打勝仗。根據聖經的記載，亞哈斯王並沒有專一敬拜侍奉耶和華，他一登基就祭拜巴力以及外邦諸神明，以致於耶和華就讓猶大軍隊被亞蘭軍隊打敗。亞哈斯王已經失去自我反省的能力，反而去認同自己敵國的神明，結果是亞哈斯王的敵國越來越多，連兄弟之邦的北國以色列也來侵犯，並擄走二十萬婦女兒童，若不是先知俄德勇敢的半路勸阻，這二十萬可憐的猶大婦女與兒童，就將淪為北國的奴隸了。後來以東人、非利士人也都來侵犯猶大國，亞哈斯王一連吃了好幾個敗仗之後，竟然異想天開，派人遠赴亞述，請他們過來幫助猶大國，結果是亞述王也加入欺凌猶大國的行列。求主幫助我，在遭遇挫折失敗時，不是去羨慕效法成功勝利者的信仰，而是會自我反省，看看是否是自己已經與上帝疏離了，而會悔改認錯，歸回上帝的身邊。
題目: 先知俄德的一席話，得到以色列將領的支持，他們吩咐要把被擄的猶大弟兄打發回去，免得神的憤怒臨到他們。(v12-13)。試想，當面對忠告時，你是否會如以色列的將領般，順服忠告？
28:1 亞哈斯登基的時候年二十歲，在耶路撒冷作王十六年；不像他祖大衛行耶和華眼中看為正的事，
Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And he did not do what was right in the eyes of the LORD, like his father David,
28:2 卻行以色列諸王的道，又鑄造巴力的像，
but walked in the ways of the kings of Israel. He even made molten images for the Ba'als;
28:3 並且在欣嫩子谷燒香，用火焚燒他的兒女，行耶和華在以色列人面前所驅逐的外邦人那可憎的事；
and he burned incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burned his sons as an offering, according to the abominable practices of the nations whom the LORD drove out before the people of Israel.
28:4 並在邱壇上、山岡上、各青翠樹下獻祭燒香。
And he sacrificed and burned incense on the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
28:5 所以，耶和華─他的 神將他交在亞蘭王手裡。亞蘭王打敗他，擄了他許多的民，帶到大馬色去。 神又將他交在以色列王手裡，以色列王向他大行殺戮。
Therefore the LORD his God gave him into the hand of the king of Syria, who defeated him and took captive a great number of his people and brought them to Damascus. He was also given into the hand of the king of Israel, who defeated him with great slaughter.
28:6 利瑪利的兒子比加一日殺了猶大人十二萬，都是勇士，因為他們離棄了耶和華─他們列祖的 神。
For Pekah the son of Remali'ah slew a hundred and twenty thousand in Judah in one day, all of them men of valor, because they had forsaken the LORD, the God of their fathers.
28:7 有一個以法蓮中的勇士，名叫細基利，殺了王的兒子瑪西雅和管理王宮的押斯利甘，並宰相以利加拿。
And Zichri, a mighty man of E'phraim, slew Ma-asei'ah the king's son and Azri'kam the commander of the palace and Elka'nah the next in authority to the king.
28:8 以色列人擄了他們的弟兄，連婦人帶兒女共有二十萬，又掠了許多的財物，帶到撒馬利亞去了。
The men of Israel took captive two hundred thousand of their kinsfolk, women, sons, and daughters; they also took much spoil from them and brought the spoil to Sama'ria.
28:9 但那裡有耶和華的一個先知，名叫俄德，出來迎接往撒馬利亞去的軍兵，對他們說：「因為耶和華─你們列祖的 神惱怒猶大人，所以將他們交在你們手裡，你們竟怒氣沖天，大行殺戮。
But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded; and he went out to meet the army that came to Sama'ria, and said to them, "Behold, because the LORD, the God of your fathers, was angry with Judah, he gave them into your hand, but you have slain them in a rage which has reached up to heaven.
28:10 如今你們又有意強逼猶大人和耶路撒冷人作你們的奴婢，你們豈不也有得罪耶和華─你們 神的事嗎？
And now you intend to subjugate the people of Judah and Jerusalem, male and female, as your slaves. Have you not sins of your own against the LORD your God?
28:11 現在你們當聽我說，要將擄來的弟兄釋放回去，因為耶和華向你們已經大發烈怒。」
Now hear me, and send back the captives from your kinsfolk whom you have taken, for the fierce wrath of the LORD is upon you."
28:12 於是，以法蓮人的幾個族長─就是約哈難的兒子亞撒利雅、米實利末的兒子比利家、沙龍的兒子耶希西家、哈得萊的兒子亞瑪撒─起來攔擋出兵回來的人，
Certain chiefs also of the men of E'phraim, Azari'ah the son of Joha'nan, Berechi'ah the son of Meshil'lemoth, Jehizki'ah the son of Shallum, and Ama'sa the son of Hadlai, stood up against those who were coming from the war,
28:13 對他們說：「你們不可帶進這被擄的人來！你們想要使我們得罪耶和華，加增我們的罪惡過犯？因為我們的罪過甚大，已經有烈怒臨到以色列人了。」
and said to them, "You shall not bring the captives in here, for you propose to bring upon us guilt against the LORD in addition to our present sins and guilt. For our guilt is already great, and there is fierce wrath against Israel."
28:14 於是帶兵器的人將擄來的人口和掠來的財物都留在眾首領和會眾的面前。
So the armed men left the captives and the spoil before the princes and all the assembly.
28:15 以上提名的那些人就站起，使被擄的人前來；其中有赤身的，就從所掠的財物中拿出衣服和鞋來，給他們穿，又給他們吃喝，用膏抹他們；其中有軟弱的，就使他們騎驢，送到棕樹城耶利哥他們弟兄那裡；隨後就回撒馬利亞去了。
And the men who have been mentioned by name rose and took the captives, and with the spoil they clothed all that were naked among them; they clothed them, gave them sandals, provided them with food and drink, and anointed them; and carrying all the feeble among them on asses, they brought them to their kinsfolk at Jericho, the city of palm trees. Then they returned to Sama'ria.
28:16 那時，亞哈斯王差遣人去見亞述諸王，求他們幫助；
At that time King Ahaz sent to the king of Assyria for help.
28:17 因為以東人又來攻擊猶大，擄掠子民。
For the E'domites had again invaded and defeated Judah, and carried away captives.
28:18 非利士人也來侵佔高原和猶大南方的城邑，取了伯•示麥、亞雅崙、基低羅，梭哥和屬梭哥的鄉村，亭納和屬亭納的鄉村，瑾鎖和屬瑾鎖的鄉村，就住在那裡。
And the Philistines had made raids on the cities in the Shephe'lah and the Negeb of Judah, and had taken Beth-she'mesh, Ai'jalon, Gede'roth, Soco with its villages, Timnah with its villages, and Gimzo with its villages; and they settled there.
28:19 因為以色列王亞哈斯在猶大放肆，大大干犯耶和華，所以耶和華使猶大卑微。
For the LORD brought Judah low because of Ahaz king of Israel, for he had dealt wantonly in Judah and had been faithless to the LORD.
28:20 亞述王提革拉毗尼色上來，卻沒有幫助他，反倒欺凌他。
So Til'gath-pilne'ser king of Assyria came against him, and afflicted him instead of strengthening him.
28:21 亞哈斯從耶和華殿裡和王宮中，並首領家內所取的財寶給了亞述王，這也無濟於事。
For Ahaz took from the house of the LORD and the house of the king and of the princes, and gave tribute to the king of Assyria; but it did not help him.
28:22 這亞哈斯王在急難的時候，越發得罪耶和華。
In the time of his distress he became yet more faithless to the LORD -- this same King Ahaz.
28:23 他祭祀攻擊他的大馬色之神，說：「因為亞蘭王的神幫助他們，我也獻祭與他，他好幫助我。」但那些神使他和以色列眾人敗亡了。
For he sacrificed to the gods of Damascus which had defeated him, and said, "Because the gods of the kings of Syria helped them, I will sacrifice to them that they may help me." But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.
28:24 亞哈斯將 神殿裡的器皿都聚了來，毀壞了，且封鎖耶和華殿的門；在耶路撒冷各處的拐角建築祭壇，
And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God and cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and he shut up the doors of the house of the LORD; and he made himself altars in every corner of Jerusalem.
28:25 又在猶大各城建立邱壇，與別神燒香，惹動耶和華─他列祖 神的怒氣。
In every city of Judah he made high places to burn incense to other gods, provoking to anger the LORD, the God of his fathers.
28:26 亞哈斯其餘的事和他的行為，自始至終都寫在猶大和以色列諸王記上。
Now the rest of his acts and all his ways, from first to last, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.
28:27 亞哈斯與他列祖同睡，葬在耶路撒冷城裡，沒有送入以色列諸王的墳墓中。他兒子希西家接續他作王。
And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, in Jerusalem, for they did not bring him into the tombs of the kings of Israel. And Hezeki'ah his son reigned in his stead.
