經文: 歷代志下 36:21-23 這就應驗耶和華藉耶利米口所說的話：地享受安息；因為地土荒涼便守安息，直滿了七十年。波斯王古列元年，耶和華為要應驗藉耶利米口所說的話，就激動波斯王古列的心，使他下詔通告全國，說：「波斯王古列如此說：耶和華天上的神已將天下萬國賜給我，又囑咐我在猶大的耶路撒冷為他建造殿宇。你們中間凡作他子民的，可以上去，願耶和華他的神與他同在。」

默想: 歷代志下以波斯王古列下詔通告全國，允許以色列民歸回重建聖殿作為結尾，而不是以南國猶大被巴比倫滅亡作為結尾。根據以西結書4:1-6北國與南國不守安息年共430年。耶和華警告以色列民，如果他們不遵守律法中的安息年，則他們會被擄，讓地能夠安息。(利26:34-35) 因此，先知耶利米就預言以色列民將被擄七十年 (耶25:8-12) 到滿七十年時，耶和華興起波斯王古列，消滅了巴比倫帝國，並且願意讓以色列民歸回巴勒斯坦，重建聖殿。感謝主，在你公義審判中，以色列民被擄，在你慈愛信實中，以色列民從被擄得以歸回。

題目: 北國從公元前931-722年，歷經九個王朝、十九個君王，南國從公元前931-586年，歷經十二個君王，一個王朝(就是大衛家)，南國被巴比倫所滅後，以色列君王時代就結束了。據經文記載北國君王都被評為「惡」，南國君王有8個「正」12個「惡」。試想，從以色列的歷史中，你學到什麼真理？ 

 

36:1 國民立約西亞的兒子約哈斯在耶路撒冷接續他父作王。
The people of the land took Jeho'ahaz the son of Josi'ah and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem.
36:2 約哈斯登基的時候年二十三歲，在耶路撒冷作王三個月。
Jeho'ahaz was twenty-three years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.
36:3 埃及王在耶路撒冷廢了他，又罰猶大國銀子一百他連得，金子一他連得。
Then the king of Egypt deposed him in Jerusalem and laid upon the land a tribute of a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
36:4 埃及王尼哥立約哈斯的哥哥以利雅敬作猶大和耶路撒冷的王，改名叫約雅敬，又將約哈斯帶到埃及去了。
And the king of Egypt made Eli'akim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and changed his name to Jehoi'akim; but Neco took Jeho'ahaz his brother and carried him to Egypt.
36:5 約雅敬登基的時候年二十五歲，在耶路撒冷作王十一年，行耶和華─他　神眼中看為惡的事。
Jehoi'akim was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. He did what was evil in the sight of the LORD his God.
36:6 巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒上來攻擊他，用銅鍊鎖著他，要將他帶到巴比倫去。
Against him came up Nebuchadnez'zar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters to take him to Babylon.
36:7 尼布甲尼撒又將耶和華殿裡的器皿帶到巴比倫，放在他神的廟裡【或作自己的宮裡】。
Nebuchadnez'zar also carried part of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon and put them in his palace in Babylon.
36:8 約雅敬其餘的事和他所行可憎的事，並他一切的行為，都寫在以色列和猶大列王記上。他兒子約雅斤接續他作王。
Now the rest of the acts of Jehoi'akim, and the abominations which he did, and what was found against him, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah; and Jehoi'achin his son reigned in his stead.
36:9 約雅斤登基的時候年八歲【王下二四章八節作十八歲】，在耶路撒冷作王三個月零十天，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事。
Jehoi'achin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem. He did what was evil in the sight of the LORD.
36:10 過了一年，尼布甲尼撒差遣人將約雅斤和耶和華殿裡各樣寶貴的器皿帶到巴比倫，就立約雅斤的叔叔（原文兄）西底家作猶大和耶路撒冷的王。
In the spring of the year King Nebuchadnez'zar sent and brought him to Babylon, with the precious vessels of the house of the LORD, and made his brother Zedeki'ah king over Judah and Jerusalem.
36:11 西底家登基的時候年二十一歲，在耶路撒冷作王十一年，
Zedeki'ah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem.
36:12 行耶和華─他　神眼中看為惡的事。先知耶利米以耶和華的話勸他，他仍不在耶利米面前自卑。
He did what was evil in the sight of the LORD his God. He did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet, who spoke from the mouth of the LORD.
36:13 尼布甲尼撒曾使他指著　神起誓，他卻背叛，強項硬心，不歸服耶和華─以色列的　神。
He also rebelled against King Nebuchadnez'zar, who had made him swear by God; he stiffened his neck and hardened his heart against turning to the LORD, the God of Israel.
36:14 眾祭司長和百姓也大大犯罪，效法外邦人一切可憎的事，污穢耶和華在耶路撒冷分別為聖的殿。
All the leading priests and the people likewise were exceedingly unfaithful, following all the abominations of the nations; and they polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.
36:15 耶和華─他們列祖的　神因為愛惜自己的民和他的居所，從早起來差遣使者去警戒他們。
The LORD, the God of their fathers, sent persistently to them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place;
36:16 他們卻嘻笑　神的使者，藐視他的言語，譏誚他的先知，以致耶和華的忿怒向他的百姓發作，無法可救。
but they kept mocking the messengers of God, despising his words, and scoffing at his prophets, till the wrath of the LORD rose against his people, till there was no remedy.
36:17 所以，耶和華使迦勒底人的王來攻擊他們，在他們聖殿裡用刀殺了他們的壯丁，不憐恤他們的少男處女、老人白叟。耶和華將他們都交在迦勒底王手裡。
Therefore he brought up against them the king of the Chalde'ans, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or aged; he gave them all into his hand.
36:18 迦勒底王將　神殿裡的大小器皿與耶和華殿裡的財寶，並王和眾首領的財寶，都帶到巴比倫去了。
And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king and of his princes, all these he brought to Babylon.
36:19 迦勒底人焚燒　神的殿，拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆，用火燒了城裡的宮殿，毀壞了城裡寶貴的器皿。
And they burned the house of God, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burned all its palaces with fire, and destroyed all its precious vessels.
36:20 凡脫離刀劍的，迦勒底王都擄到巴比倫去，作他和他子孫的僕婢，直到波斯國興起來。
He took into exile in Babylon those who had escaped from the sword, and they became servants to him and to his sons until the establishment of the kingdom of Persia,
36:21 這就應驗耶和華藉耶利米口所說的話：地享受安息；因為地土荒涼便守安息，直滿了七十年。
to fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its sabbaths. All the days that it lay desolate it kept sabbath, to fulfil seventy years.
36:22 波斯王古列元年，耶和華為要應驗藉耶利米口所說的話，就激動波斯王古列的心，使他下詔通告全國，說：
Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and also put it in writing:
36:23 「波斯王古列如此說：耶和華─天上的　神已將天下萬國賜給我，又囑咐我在猶大的耶路撒冷為他建造殿宇。你們中間凡作他子民的，可以上去，願耶和華─他的　神與他同在。」
"Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, `The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever is among you of all his people, may the LORD his God be with him. Let him go up.'"

經文: 腓利比書 1:15-18 有的傳基督是出於嫉妒分爭，也有的是出於好意。這一等是出於愛心，知道我是為辯明福音設立的；那一等傳基督是出於結黨，並不誠實，意思要加增我捆鎖的苦楚。這有何妨呢？或是假意，或是真心，無論怎樣，基督究竟被傳開了。為此，我就歡喜，並且還要歡喜。

默想: 這段經文讓我們發現，傳福音有各種不同的動機，有人因為愛心而傳福音，也有人因為嫉妒分爭而傳福音。保羅對於這些不同動機的傳福音，都能夠歡喜接受，這種只要福音能夠被傳開，我個人受苦也歡喜的態度值得我學習。求主幫助我，讓我願意付任何代價，只要福音能夠被廣傳我就滿心歡喜。

題目: 保羅說：「我坐牢，卻使多半的信徒對主更有信心，更加勇敢，毫無畏懼地傳講上帝的信息。(v14)試想，我所遭遇的苦難，是否能幫助信徒，對上主更有信心，更勇敢傳講福音？ 

 

1:1 基督耶穌的僕人保羅和提摩太寫信給凡住腓立比、在基督耶穌裡的眾聖徒，和諸位監督，諸位執事。
Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philip'pi, with the bishops and deacons:
1:2 願恩惠、平安從　神我們的父並主耶穌基督歸與你們！
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1:3 我每逢想念你們，就感謝我的　神；
I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,
1:4 每逢為你們眾人祈求的時候，常是歡歡喜喜地祈求。
always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy,
1:5 因為從頭一天直到如今，你們是同心合意地興旺福音。
thankful for your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
1:6 我深信那在你們心裡動了善工的，必成全這工，直到耶穌基督的日子。
And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
1:7 我為你們眾人有這樣的意念，原是應當的；因你們常在我心裡，無論我是在捆鎖之中，是辯明證實福音的時候，你們都與我一同得恩。
It is right for me to feel thus about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.
1:8 我體會基督耶穌的心腸，切切地想念你們眾人；這是　神可以給我作見證的。
For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.
1:9 我所禱告的，就是要你們的愛心在知識和各樣見識上多而又多，
And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment,
1:10 使你們能分別是非（或譯：喜愛那美好的事），作誠實無過的人，直到基督的日子；
so that you may approve what is excellent, and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,
1:11 並靠著耶穌基督結滿了仁義的果子，叫榮耀稱讚歸與　神。
filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
1:12 弟兄們，我願意你們知道，我所遭遇的事更是叫福音興旺，
I want you to know, brethren, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel,
1:13 以致我受的捆鎖在御營全軍和其餘的人中，已經顯明是為基督的緣故。
so that it has become known throughout the whole praetorian guard and to all the rest that my imprisonment is for Christ;
1:14 並且那在主裡的弟兄多半因我受的捆鎖就篤信不疑，越發放膽傳　神的道，無所懼怕。
and most of the brethren have been made confident in the Lord because of my imprisonment, and are much more bold to speak the word of God without fear.
1:15 有的傳基督是出於嫉妒紛爭，也有的是出於好意。
Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from good will.
1:16 這一等是出於愛心，知道我是為辯明福音設立的；
The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel;
1:17 那一等傳基督是出於結黨，並不誠實，意思要加增我捆鎖的苦楚。
the former proclaim Christ out of partisanship, not sincerely but thinking to afflict me in my imprisonment.
1:18 這有何妨呢？或是假意，或是真心，無論怎樣，基督究竟被傳開了。為此，我就歡喜，並且還要歡喜；
What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in that I rejoice.
1:19 因為我知道，這事藉著你們的祈禱和耶穌基督之靈的幫助，終必叫我得救。
Yes, and I shall rejoice. For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance,
1:20 照著我所切慕、所盼望的，沒有一事叫我羞愧。只要凡事放膽，無論是生是死，總叫基督在我身上照常顯大。
as it is my eager expectation and hope that I shall not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.
1:21 因我活著就是基督，我死了就有益處。
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
1:22 但我在肉身活著，若成就我工夫的果子，我就不知道該挑選甚麼。
If it is to be life in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell.
1:23 我正在兩難之間，情願離世與基督同在，因為這是好得無比的。
I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.
1:24 然而，我在肉身活著，為你們更是要緊的。
But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account.
1:25 我既然這樣深信，就知道仍要住在世間，且與你們眾人同住，使你們在所信的道上又長進又喜樂，
Convinced of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith,
1:26 叫你們在基督耶穌裡的歡樂，因我再到你們那裡去，就越發加增。
so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.
1:27 只要你們行事為人與基督的福音相稱，叫我或來見你們，或不在你們那裡，可以聽見你們的景況，知道你們同有一個心志，站立得穩，為所信的福音齊心努力。
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you stand firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel,
1:28 凡事不怕敵人的驚嚇，這是證明他們沉淪，你們得救都是出於　神。
and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear omen to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God.
1:29 因為你們蒙恩，不但得以信服基督，並要為他受苦。
For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake,
1:30 你們的爭戰，就與你們在我身上從前所看見、現在所聽見的一樣。
engaged in the same conflict which you saw and now hear to be mine.

經文: 歷代志下 35:22 約西亞卻不肯轉去離開他，改裝要與他打仗，不聽從神藉尼哥之口所說的話，便來到米吉多平原爭戰。

默想: 約西亞王在聖經的記載，是一生敬畏耶和華，專一敬拜耶和華，努力清除所有的偶像，用心舉辦逾越節慶典，成為以色列歷史中，從撒母耳以來最盛大的慶典。但是很令人遺憾的，他堅持要變裝與埃及法老王尼哥爭戰，卻不幸的被一位弓箭手射成重傷，而命喪疆場。耶和華藉著法老王尼哥向約西亞王說話，勸約西亞王不要與尼哥爭戰，這是很特別的啟示。求主保守我，會小心謙卑的聽非基督徒的話，或許上帝也會藉著非基督徒來向我說話。

題目: 約西亞不聽上帝藉著埃及王尼哥說的話…而死於戰場。(v22)試想，你相信上主也會藉著非基督徒向你說話嗎? 

 

35:1 約西亞在耶路撒冷向耶和華守逾越節。正月十四日，就宰了逾越節的羊羔。
Josi'ah kept a passover to the LORD in Jerusalem; and they killed the passover lamb on the fourteenth day of the first month.
35:2 王分派祭司各盡其職，又勉勵他們辦耶和華殿中的事；
He appointed the priests to their offices and encouraged them in the service of the house of the LORD.
35:3 又對那歸耶和華為聖、教訓以色列人的利未人說：「你們將聖約櫃安放在以色列王大衛兒子所羅門建造的殿裡，不必再用肩扛抬。現在要事奉耶和華─你們的　神，服事他的民以色列。
And he said to the Levites who taught all Israel and who were holy to the LORD, "Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, built; you need no longer carry it upon your shoulders. Now serve the LORD your God and his people Israel.
35:4 你們應當按著宗族，照著班次，遵以色列王大衛和他兒子所羅門所寫的，自己預備。
Prepare yourselves according to your fathers' houses by your divisions, following the directions of David king of Israel and the directions of Solomon his son.
35:5 要按著你們的弟兄，這民宗族的班次，站在聖所，每班中要利未宗族的幾個人。
And stand in the holy place according to the groupings of the fathers' houses of your brethren the lay people, and let there be for each a part of a father's house of the Levites.
35:6 要宰逾越節的羊羔，潔淨自己，為你們的弟兄預備了，好遵守耶和華藉摩西所吩咐的話。」
And kill the passover lamb, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare for your brethren, to do according to the word of the LORD by Moses."
35:7 約西亞從群畜中賜給在那裡所有的人民，綿羊羔和山羊羔三萬隻，牛三千隻，作逾越節的祭物；這都是出自王的產業中。
Then Josi'ah contributed to the lay people, as passover offerings for all that were present, lambs and kids from the flock to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bulls; these were from the king's possessions.
35:8 約西亞的眾首領也樂意將犧牲給百姓和祭司利未人；又有管理　神殿的希勒家、撒迦利亞、耶歇將羊羔二千六百隻，牛三百隻，給祭司作逾越節的祭物。
And his princes contributed willingly to the people, to the priests, and to the Levites. Hilki'ah, Zechari'ah, and Jehi'el, the chief officers of the house of God, gave to the priests for the passover offerings two thousand six hundred lambs and kids and three hundred bulls.
35:9 利未人的族長歌楠雅和他兩個兄弟示瑪雅、拿坦業，與哈沙比雅、耶利、約撒拔將羊羔五千隻，牛五百隻，給利未人作逾越節的祭物。
Conani'ah also, and Shemai'ah and Nethan'el his brothers, and Hashabi'ah and Je-i'el and Jo'zabad, the chiefs of the Levites, gave to the Levites for the passover offerings five thousand lambs and kids and five hundred bulls.
35:10 這樣，供獻的事齊備了。祭司站在自己的地方，利未人按著班次站立，都是照王所吩咐的。
When the service had been prepared for, the priests stood in their place, and the Levites in their divisions according to the king's command.
35:11 利未人宰了逾越節的羊羔，祭司從他們手裡接過血來灑在壇上；利未人剝皮，
And they killed the passover lamb, and the priests sprinkled the blood which they received from them while the Levites flayed the victims.
35:12 將燔祭搬來，按著宗族的班次分給眾民，好照摩西書上所寫的，獻給耶和華；獻牛也是這樣。
And they set aside the burnt offerings that they might distribute them according to the groupings of the fathers' houses of the lay people, to offer to the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so they did with the bulls.
35:13 他們按著常例，用火烤逾越節的羊羔。別的聖物用鍋，用釜，用罐煮了，速速地送給眾民。
And they roasted the passover lamb with fire according to the ordinance; and they boiled the holy offerings in pots, in caldrons, and in pans, and carried them quickly to all the lay people.
35:14 然後為自己和祭司預備祭物；因為祭司亞倫的子孫獻燔祭和脂油，直到晚上。所以利未人為自己和祭司亞倫的子孫，預備祭物。
And afterward they prepared for themselves and for the priests, because the priests the sons of Aaron were busied in offering the burnt offerings and the fat parts until night; so the Levites prepared for themselves and for the priests the sons of Aaron.
35:15 歌唱的亞薩之子孫，照著大衛、亞薩、希幔，和王的先見耶杜頓所吩咐的，站在自己的地位上。守門的看守各門，不用離開他們的職事，因為他們的弟兄利未人給他們預備祭物。
The singers, the sons of Asaph, were in their place according to the command of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jedu'thun the king's seer; and the gatekeepers were at each gate; they did not need to depart from their service, for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.
35:16 當日，供奉耶和華的事齊備了，就照約西亞王的吩咐守逾越節，獻燔祭在耶和華的壇上。
So all the service of the LORD was prepared that day, to keep the passover and to offer burnt offerings on the altar of the LORD, according to the command of King Josi'ah.
35:17 當時在耶路撒冷的以色列人守逾越節，又守除酵節七日。
And the people of Israel who were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.
35:18 自從先知撒母耳以來，在以色列中沒有守過這樣的逾越節，以色列諸王也沒有守過，像約西亞、祭司、利未人、在那裡的猶大人，和以色列人，以及耶路撒冷居民所守的逾越節。
No passover like it had been kept in Israel since the days of Samuel the prophet; none of the kings of Israel had kept such a passover as was kept by Josi'ah, and the priests and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel who were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
35:19 這逾越節是約西亞作王十八年守的。
In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josi'ah this passover was kept.
35:20 這事以後，約西亞修完了殿，有埃及王尼哥上來，要攻擊靠近伯拉河的迦基米施；約西亞出去抵擋他。
After all this, when Josi'ah had prepared the temple, Neco king of Egypt went up to fight at Car'chemish on the Euphra'tes and Josi'ah went out against him.
35:21 他差遣使者來見約西亞，說：「猶大王啊，我與你何干？我今日來不是要攻擊你，乃是要攻擊與我爭戰之家，並且　神吩咐我速行，你不要干預　神的事，免得他毀滅你，因為　神是與我同在。」
But he sent envoys to him, saying, "What have we to do with each other, king of Judah? I am not coming against you this day, but against the house with which I am at war; and God has commanded me to make haste. Cease opposing God, who is with me, lest he destroy you."
35:22 約西亞卻不肯轉去離開他，改裝要與他打仗，不聽從　神藉尼哥之口所說的話，便來到米吉多平原爭戰。
Nevertheless Josi'ah would not turn away from him, but disguised himself in order to fight with him. He did not listen to the words of Neco from the mouth of God, but joined battle in the plain of Megid'do.
35:23 弓箭手射中約西亞王。王對他的臣僕說：「我受了重傷，你拉我出陣吧！」
And the archers shot King Josi'ah; and the king said to his servants, "Take me away, for I am badly wounded."
35:24 他的臣僕扶他下了戰車，上了次車，送他到耶路撒冷，他就死了，葬在他列祖的墳墓裡。猶大人和耶路撒冷人都為他悲哀。
So his servants took him out of the chariot and carried him in his second chariot and brought him to Jerusalem. And he died, and was buried in the tombs of his fathers. All Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josi'ah.
35:25 耶利米為約西亞作哀歌。所有歌唱的男女也唱哀歌，追悼約西亞，直到今日；而且在以色列中成了定例。這歌載在哀歌書上。
Jeremiah also uttered a lament for Josi'ah; and all the singing men and singing women have spoken of Josi'ah in their laments to this day. They made these an ordinance in Israel; behold, they are written in the Laments.
35:26 約西亞其餘的事和他遵著耶和華律法上所記而行的善事，
Now the rest of the acts of Josi'ah, and his good deeds according to what is written in the law of the LORD,
35:27 並他自始至終所行的，都寫在以色列和猶大列王記上。
and his acts, first and last, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah.

默想: 感謝神，瑪拿西王在被亞述王用鐃鉤銅鍊擄到異鄉時，才痛下決心誨改歸向耶和華。瑪拿西王在被擄歸回之後，便努力的拆除耶路撒冷與聖殿中的偶像。瑪拿西王去世時，他那才八歲的兒子約西亞登基為王。他等了十二年，才動手潔淨耶路撒冷城與猶大地。由此我們可以看到瑪拿西王的拆除偶像，並沒有進行的很徹底。約西亞王在重修聖殿時，祭司希勒家偶然間發現摩西所傳下來的律法書，

便輾轉經書記沙番的手傳到約西亞王那裡。約西亞王一看那律法書的內容，大吃一驚，便發起悔改認罪的靈命更新運動。耶和華藉著女先知戶勒大的口，向約西亞王傳達耶和華公義的審判中，對於謙卑慟悔的約西亞王還彰顯慈悲的恩典。求主讓我常會在主面前誠實認罪，謙卑悔改，好從神得到公義審判中那慈悲的恩典。

題目: 約西亞王把境內所有可憎的偶像都拆毀，此事上主早在北國開國君王耶羅波安築壇獻祭時，即藉先知預言：「大衛的家要生一子，名叫約西亞…」(王上13:1-10)試想，你曾經歷上主不失落的話嗎？ 

 

34:1 約西亞登基的時候年八歲，在耶路撒冷作王三十一年。
Josi'ah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem.
34:2 他行耶和華眼中看為正的事，效法他祖大衛所行的，不偏左右。
He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father; and he did not turn aside to the right or to the left.
34:3 他作王第八年，尚且年幼，就尋求他祖大衛的　神。到了十二年才潔淨猶大和耶路撒冷，除掉邱壇、木偶、雕刻的像，和鑄造的像。
For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet a boy, he began to seek the God of David his father; and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, the Ashe'rim, and the graven and the molten images.
34:4 眾人在他面前拆毀巴力的壇，砍斷壇上高高的日像，又把木偶和雕刻的像，並鑄造的像打碎成灰，撒在祭偶像人的墳上，
And they broke down the altars of the Ba'als in his presence; and he hewed down the incense altars which stood above them; and he broke in pieces the Ashe'rim and the graven and the molten images, and he made dust of them and strewed it over the graves of those who had sacrificed to them.
34:5 將他們祭司的骸骨燒在壇上，潔淨了猶大和耶路撒冷；
He also burned the bones of the priests on their altars, and purged Judah and Jerusalem.
34:6 又在瑪拿西、以法蓮、西緬、拿弗他利各城，和四圍破壞之處，都這樣行；
And in the cities of Manas'seh, E'phraim, and Simeon, and as far as Naph'tali, in their ruins round about,
34:7 又拆毀祭壇，把木偶和雕刻的像打碎成灰，砍斷以色列遍地所有的日像，就回耶路撒冷去了。
he broke down the altars, and beat the Ashe'rim and the images into powder, and hewed down all the incense altars throughout all the land of Israel. Then he returned to Jerusalem.
34:8 約西亞王十八年，淨地淨殿之後，就差遣亞薩利雅的兒子沙番、邑宰瑪西雅、約哈斯的兒子史官約亞去修理耶和華─他　神的殿。
Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of Azali'ah, and Ma-asei'ah the governor of the city, and Jo'ah the son of Jo'ahaz, the recorder, to repair the house of the LORD his God.
34:9 他們就去見大祭司希勒家，將奉到　神殿的銀子交給他；這銀子是看守殿門的利未人從瑪拿西、以法蓮，和一切以色列剩下的人，以及猶大、便雅憫眾人，並耶路撒冷的居民收來的。
They came to Hilki'ah the high priest and delivered the money that had been brought into the house of God, which the Levites, the keepers of the threshold, had collected from Manas'seh and E'phraim and from all the remnant of Israel and from all Judah and Benjamin and from the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
34:10 又將這銀子交給耶和華殿裡督工的，轉交修理耶和華殿的工匠，
They delivered it to the workmen who had the oversight of the house of the LORD; and the workmen who were working in the house of the LORD gave it for repairing and restoring the house.
34:11 就是交給木匠、石匠，買鑿成的石頭和架木與棟梁，修猶大王所毀壞的殿。
They gave it to the carpenters and the builders to buy quarried stone, and timber for binders and beams for the buildings which the kings of Judah had let go to ruin.
34:12 這些人辦事誠實，督工的是利未人米拉利的子孫雅哈、俄巴底；督催的是哥轄的子孫撒迦利亞、米書蘭；還有善於作樂的利未人。
And the men did the work faithfully. Over them were set Jahath and Obadi'ah the Levites, of the sons of Merar'i, and Zechari'ah and Meshul'lam, of the sons of the Ko'hathites, to have oversight. The Levites, all who were skilful with instruments of music,
34:13 他們又監管扛抬的人，督催一切做工的。利未人中也有作書記、作司事、作守門的。
were over the burden bearers and directed all who did work in every kind of service; and some of the Levites were scribes, and officials, and gatekeepers.
34:14 他們將奉到耶和華殿的銀子運出來的時候，祭司希勒家偶然得了摩西所傳耶和華的律法書。
While they were bringing out the money that had been brought into the house of the LORD, Hilki'ah the priest found the book of the law of the LORD given through Moses.
34:15 希勒家對書記沙番說：「我在耶和華殿裡得了律法書。」遂將書遞給沙番。
Then Hilki'ah said to Shaphan the secretary, "I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD"; and Hilki'ah gave the book to Shaphan.
34:16 沙番把書拿到王那裡，回覆王說：「凡交給僕人們辦的都辦理了。
Shaphan brought the book to the king, and further reported to the king, "All that was committed to your servants they are doing.
34:17 耶和華殿裡的銀子倒出來，交給督工的和匠人的手裡了。」
They have emptied out the money that was found in the house of the LORD and have delivered it into the hand of the overseers and the workmen."
34:18 書記沙番又對王說：「祭司希勒家遞給我一卷書。」沙番就在王面前讀那書。
Then Shaphan the secretary told the king, "Hilki'ah the priest has given me a book." And Shaphan read it before the king.
34:19 王聽見律法上的話，就撕裂衣服，
When the king heard the words of the law he rent his clothes.
34:20 吩咐希勒家與沙番的兒子亞希甘、米迦的兒子亞比頓、書記沙番，和王的臣僕亞撒雅說：
And the king commanded Hilki'ah, Ahi'kam the son of Shaphan, Abdon the son of Micah, Shaphan the secretary, and Asai'ah the king's servant, saying,
34:21 「你們去為我、為以色列和猶大剩下的人，以這書上的話求問耶和華；因我們列祖沒有遵守耶和華的言語，沒有照這書上所記的去行，耶和華的烈怒就倒在我們身上。」
"Go, inquire of the LORD for me and for those who are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that has been found; for great is the wrath of the LORD that is poured out on us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the LORD, to do according to all that is written in this book."
34:22 於是，希勒家和王所派的眾人都去見女先知戶勒大。戶勒大是掌管禮服沙龍的妻，沙龍是哈斯拉的孫子、特瓦的兒子。戶勒大住在耶路撒冷第二區；他們請問於她。
So Hilki'ah and those whom the king had sent went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tokhath, son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the Second Quarter) and spoke to her to that effect.
34:23 她對他們說：「耶和華─以色列的　神如此說：『你們可以回覆那差遣你們來見我的人說，
And she said to them, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: `Tell the man who sent you to me,
34:24 耶和華如此說：我必照著在猶大王面前所讀那書上的一切咒詛，降禍與這地和其上的居民；
Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place and upon its inhabitants, all the curses that are written in the book which was read before the king of Judah.
34:25 因為他們離棄我，向別神燒香，用他們手所做的惹我發怒，所以我的忿怒如火倒在這地上，總不息滅。』
Because they have forsaken me and have burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands, therefore my wrath will be poured out upon this place and will not be quenched.
34:26 然而差遣你們來求問耶和華的猶大王，你們要這樣回覆他說：『耶和華─以色列的　神如此說：至於你所聽見的話，
But to the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, thus shall you say to him, Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Regarding the words which you have heard,
34:27 就是聽見我指著這地和其上居民所說的話，你便心裡敬服，在我面前自卑，撕裂衣服，向我哭泣，因此我應允了你。這是我─耶和華說的。
because your heart was penitent and you humbled yourself before God when you heard his words against this place and its inhabitants, and you have humbled yourself before me, and have rent your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you, says the LORD.
34:28 我必使你平平安安地歸到墳墓，到你列祖那裡，我要降與這地和其上居民的一切災禍，你也不致親眼看見。』」他們就回覆王去了。
Behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace, and your eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place and its inhabitants.'" And they brought back word to the king.
34:29 王差遣人招聚猶大和耶路撒冷的眾長老來。
Then the king sent and gathered together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.
34:30 王和猶大眾人，與耶路撒冷的居民，並祭司利未人，以及所有的百姓，無論大小，都一同上到耶和華的殿；王就把殿裡所得的約書念給他們聽。
And the king went up to the house of the LORD, with all the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and the priests and the Levites, all the people both great and small; and he read in their hearing all the words of the book of the covenant which had been found in the house of the LORD.
34:31 王站在他的地位上，在耶和華面前立約，要盡心盡性地順從耶和華，遵守他的誡命、法度、律例，成就這書上所記的約言；
And the king stood in his place and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes, with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that were written in this book.
34:32 又使住耶路撒冷和便雅憫的人都服從這約。於是耶路撒冷的居民都遵行他們列祖之　神的約。
Then he made all who were present in Jerusalem and in Benjamin stand to it. And the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers.
34:33 約西亞從以色列各處將一切可憎之物盡都除掉，使以色列境內的人都事奉耶和華─他們的　神。約西亞在世的日子，就跟從耶和華─他們列祖的　神，總不離開。
And Josi'ah took away all the abominations from all the territory that belonged to the people of Israel, and made all who were in Israel serve the LORD their God. All his days they did not turn away from following the LORD the God of their fathers.

經文: 歷代志下 33:1-5 瑪拿西登基的時候年十二歲，在耶路撒冷作王五十五年。他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，效法耶和華在以色列人面前趕出的外邦人那可憎的事，重新建築他父希西家所拆毀的邱壇，又為巴力築壇，做木偶，且敬拜事奉天上的萬象，在耶和華的殿宇中築壇，耶和華曾指著這殿說：「我的名必永遠在耶路撒冷。」他在耶和華殿的兩院中為天上的萬象築壇。

默想: 希西家王一生很努力的去除偶像，恢復對耶和華的敬拜。但是在他去世之後，他那十二歲的兒子瑪拿西登基為王，卻反其道而行，重新建造希西家王所拆毀的邱壇，又為巴力築壇。瑪拿西王甚至在聖殿兩院中為天上萬象築壇。這讓我們看到信仰是非常個人化的抉擇與委身。父親的信仰不一定能影響子女的信仰。作父母的人，只能迫切為子女主前代求，求聖靈能夠感動子女，讓他們有機會

體會到上帝的愛而願意相信且敬拜上帝。另外，瑪拿西王是在耶和華的聖殿中拜偶像。求主保守我們，不要在教會裡面拜偶像。

題目: 瑪拿西在遭受痛苦的時候謙卑下來，轉向上主。上主垂聽他的禱告。這事使瑪拿西確信上主就是上帝。(v13)試想在你的生命中，有什麼事讓你確信上主是上帝？ 

 

33:1 瑪拿西登基的時候年十二歲，在耶路撒冷作王五十五年。
Manas'seh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem.
33:2 他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，效法耶和華在以色列人面前趕出的外邦人那可憎的事，
He did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to the abominable practices of the nations whom the LORD drove out before the people of Israel.
33:3 重新建築他父希西家所拆毀的邱壇，又為巴力築壇，做木偶，且敬拜事奉天上的萬象，
For he rebuilt the high places which his father Hezeki'ah had broken down, and erected altars to the Ba'als, and made Ashe'rahs, and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served them.
33:4 在耶和華的殿宇中築壇─耶和華曾指著這殿說：「我的名必永遠在耶路撒冷。」
And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, "In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever."
33:5 他在耶和華殿的兩院中為天上的萬象築壇，
And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
33:6 並在欣嫩子谷使他的兒女經火，又觀兆，用法術，行邪術，立交鬼的和行巫術的，多行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹動他的怒氣，
And he burned his sons as an offering in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and practiced soothsaying and augury and sorcery, and dealt with mediums and with wizards. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking him to anger.
33:7 又在　神殿內立雕刻的偶像。　神曾對大衛和他兒子所羅門說：「我在以色列各支派中所選擇的耶路撒冷和這殿，必立我的名直到永遠。
And the image of the idol which he had made he set in the house of God, of which God said to David and to Solomon his son, "In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name for ever;
33:8 以色列人若謹守遵行我藉摩西所吩咐他們的一切法度、律例、典章，我就不再使他們挪移離開我所賜給他們列祖之地。」
and I will no more remove the foot of Israel from the land which I appointed for your fathers, if only they will be careful to do all that I have commanded them, all the law, the statutes, and the ordinances given through Moses."
33:9 瑪拿西引誘猶大和耶路撒冷的居民，以致他們行惡比耶和華在以色列人面前所滅的列國更甚。
Manas'seh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that they did more evil than the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the people of Israel.
33:10 耶和華警戒瑪拿西和他的百姓，他們卻是不聽。
The LORD spoke to Manas'seh and to his people, but they gave no heed.
33:11 所以耶和華使亞述王的將帥來攻擊他們，用鐃鉤鉤住瑪拿西，用銅鍊鎖住他，帶到巴比倫去。
Therefore the LORD brought upon them the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manas'seh with hooks and bound him with fetters of bronze and brought him to Babylon.
33:12 他在急難的時候，就懇求耶和華─他的　神，且在他列祖的　神面前極其自卑。
And when he was in distress he entreated the favor of the LORD his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.
33:13 他祈禱耶和華，耶和華就允准他的祈求，垂聽他的禱告，使他歸回耶路撒冷，仍坐國位。瑪拿西這才知道惟獨耶和華是　神。
He prayed to him, and God received his entreaty and heard his supplication and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manas'seh knew that the LORD was God.
33:14 此後，瑪拿西在大衛城外，從谷內基訓西邊直到魚門口，建築城牆，環繞俄斐勒，這牆築得甚高；又在猶大各堅固城內設立勇敢的軍長；
Afterwards he built an outer wall for the city of David west of Gihon, in the valley, and for the entrance into the Fish Gate, and carried it round Ophel, and raised it to a very great height; he also put commanders of the army in all the fortified cities in Judah.
33:15 並除掉外邦人的神像與耶和華殿中的偶像，又將他在耶和華殿的山上和耶路撒冷所築的各壇都拆毀拋在城外；
And he took away the foreign gods and the idol from the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built on the mountain of the house of the LORD and in Jerusalem, and he threw them outside of the city.
33:16 重修耶和華的祭壇，在壇上獻平安祭、感謝祭，吩咐猶大人事奉耶和華─以色列的　神。
He also restored the altar of the LORD and offered upon it sacrifices of peace offerings and of thanksgiving; and he commanded Judah to serve the LORD the God of Israel.
33:17 百姓卻仍在邱壇上獻祭，只獻給耶和華─他們的　神。
Nevertheless the people still sacrificed at the high places, but only to the LORD their God.
33:18 瑪拿西其餘的事和禱告他　神的話，並先見奉耶和華─以色列　神的名警戒他的言語，都寫在以色列諸王記上。
Now the rest of the acts of Manas'seh, and his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of the LORD the God of Israel, behold, they are in the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
33:19 他的禱告，與　神怎樣應允他，他未自卑以前的罪愆過犯，並在何處建築邱壇，設立亞舍拉和雕刻的偶像，都寫在何賽的書上。
And his prayer, and how God received his entreaty, and all his sin and his faithlessness, and the sites on which he built high places and set up the Ashe'rim and the images, before he humbled himself, behold, they are written in the Chronicles of the Seers.
33:20 瑪拿西與他列祖同睡，葬在自己的宮院裡。他兒子亞們接續他作王。
So Manas'seh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his house; and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
33:21 亞們登基的時候年二十二歲，在耶路撒冷作王二年。
Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem.
33:22 他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，效法他父瑪拿西所行的，祭祀事奉他父瑪拿西所雕刻的偶像，
He did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, as Manas'seh his father had done. Amon sacrificed to all the images that Manas'seh his father had made, and served them.
33:23 不在耶和華面前像他父瑪拿西自卑。這亞們所犯的罪越犯越大。
And he did not humble himself before the LORD, as Manas'seh his father had humbled himself, but this Amon incurred guilt more and more.
33:24 他的臣僕背叛，在宮裡殺了他。
And his servants conspired against him and killed him in his house.
33:25 但國民殺了那些背叛亞們王的人，立他兒子約西亞接續他作王。
But the people of the land slew all those who had conspired against King Amon; and the people of the land made Josi'ah his son king in his stead.

經文: 歷代志下 32:24-26 那時希西家病得要死，就禱告耶和華，耶和華應允他，賜他一個兆頭。希西家卻沒有照他所蒙的恩報答耶和華；因他心裡驕傲，所以忿怒要臨到他和猶大並耶路撒冷。但希西家和耶路撒冷的居民覺得心裡驕傲，就一同自卑，以致耶和華的忿怒在希西家的日子沒有臨到他們。

默想: 希西家王在宗教信仰方面，帶領猶大國專一敬拜侍奉耶和華，討神的歡喜。當他面臨強敵亞述王西拿基立率領大軍壓境圍攻耶路撒冷時，希西家王盡他所能做的加強耶路撒冷城的防衛城牆工程，他也用信仰的話語，鼓舞他手下軍兵的士氣，還在水利工程方面設法造成敵軍的不便。最後，希西家王與先知以賽亞到聖殿向耶和華呼求，結果耶和華差遣使者，進入亞述軍中，造成大量傷亡，亞述王西拿基立只好班師而歸回亞述，最後被自己兒子殺死。希西家王因此大得尊榮。希西家王得了重病，祈求耶和華而得到神的醫治，這一切的成功與勝利，卻造成希西家王的自覺驕傲，重下了失敗的因素。求主保守我，當上帝賞賜很多恩典，讓我一切順利成功時，我能夠將一切榮耀歸給上帝，自己存感恩的心，更謙卑的與神同行。

題目: 亞述人恐嚇耶路撒冷百姓，說：「有哪些國家的神從我的手裡救過他們的國家？那麼，你們憑甚麼以為你們的上帝能救你們呢？」(v14)試想，當我們面對仇敵恐嚇時，是否能勇敢壯膽宣告，上主必然拯救？ 

 

 

32:1 這虔誠的事以後，亞述王西拿基立來侵入猶大，圍困一切堅固城，想要攻破佔據。
After these things and these acts of faithfulness Sennach'erib king of Assyria came and invaded Judah and encamped against the fortified cities, thinking to win them for himself.
32:2 希西家見西拿基立來，定意要攻打耶路撒冷，
And when Hezeki'ah saw that Sennach'erib had come and intended to fight against Jerusalem,
32:3 就與首領和勇士商議，塞住城外的泉源；他們就都幫助他。
he planned with his officers and his mighty men to stop the water of the springs that were outside the city; and they helped him.
32:4 於是有許多人聚集，塞了一切泉源，並通流國中的小河，說：「亞述王來，為何讓他得著許多水呢？」
A great many people were gathered, and they stopped all the springs and the brook that flowed through the land, saying, "Why should the kings of Assyria come and find much water?"
32:5 希西家力圖自強，就修築所有拆毀的城牆，高與城樓相齊；在城外又築一城，堅固大衛城的米羅，製造了許多軍器、盾牌；
He set to work resolutely and built up all the wall that was broken down, and raised towers upon it, and outside it he built another wall; and he strengthened the Millo in the city of David. He also made weapons and shields in abundance.
32:6 設立軍長管理百姓，將他們招聚在城門的寬闊處，用話勉勵他們，說：
And he set combat commanders over the people, and gathered them together to him in the square at the gate of the city and spoke encouragingly to them, saying,
32:7 「你們當剛強壯膽，不要因亞述王和跟隨他的大軍恐懼、驚慌；因為與我們同在的，比與他們同在的更大。
"Be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid or dismayed before the king of Assyria and all the horde that is with him; for there is one greater with us than with him.
32:8 與他們同在的是肉臂，與我們同在的是耶和華─我們的　神，他必幫助我們，為我們爭戰。」百姓就靠猶大王希西家的話，安然無懼了。
With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles." And the people took confidence from the words of Hezeki'ah king of Judah.
32:9 此後，亞述王西拿基立和他的全軍攻打拉吉，就差遣臣僕到耶路撒冷見猶大王希西家和一切在耶路撒冷的猶大人，說：
After this Sennach'erib king of Assyria, who was besieging Lachish with all his forces, sent his servants to Jerusalem to Hezeki'ah king of Judah and to all the people of Judah that were in Jerusalem, saying,
32:10 「亞述王西拿基立如此說：『你們倚靠甚麼，還在耶路撒冷受困呢？
"Thus says Sennach'erib king of Assyria, `On what are you relying, that you stand siege in Jerusalem?
32:11 希西家對你們說「耶和華─我們的　神必救我們脫離亞述王的手」，這不是誘惑你們，使你們受飢渴而死嗎？
Is not Hezeki'ah misleading you, that he may give you over to die by famine and by thirst, when he tells you, "The LORD our God will deliver us from the hand of the king of Assyria"?
32:12 這希西家豈不是廢去耶和華的邱壇和祭壇，吩咐猶大與耶路撒冷的人說「你們當在一個壇前敬拜，在其上燒香」嗎？
Has not this same Hezeki'ah taken away his high places and his altars and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, "Before one altar you shall worship, and upon it you shall burn your sacrifices"?
32:13 我與我列祖向列邦所行的，你們豈不知道嗎？列邦的神何嘗能救自己的國脫離我手呢？
Do you not know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of other lands? Were the gods of the nations of those lands at all able to deliver their lands out of my hand?
32:14 我列祖所滅的國，那些神中誰能救自己的民脫離我手呢？難道你們的神能救你們脫離我手嗎？
Who among all the gods of those nations which my fathers utterly destroyed was able to deliver his people from my hand, that your God should be able to deliver you from my hand?
32:15 所以你們不要叫希西家這樣欺哄誘惑你們，也不要信他；因為沒有一國一邦的神能救自己的民脫離我手和我列祖的手，何況你們的神更不能救你們脫離我的手。』」
Now therefore do not let Hezeki'ah deceive you or mislead you in this fashion, and do not believe him, for no god of any nation or kingdom has been able to deliver his people from my hand or from the hand of my fathers. How much less will your God deliver you out of my hand!'"
32:16 西拿基立的臣僕還有別的話毀謗耶和華　神和他僕人希西家。
And his servants said still more against the Lord GOD and against his servant Hezeki'ah.
32:17 西拿基立也寫信毀謗耶和華─以色列的　神說：「列邦的神既不能救他的民脫離我手，希西家的神也不能救他的民脫離我手了。」
And he wrote letters to cast contempt on the LORD the God of Israel and to speak against him, saying, "Like the gods of the nations of the lands who have not delivered their people from my hands, so the God of Hezeki'ah will not deliver his people from my hand."
32:18 亞述王的臣僕用猶大言語向耶路撒冷城上的民大聲呼叫，要驚嚇他們，擾亂他們，以便取城。
And they shouted it with a loud voice in the language of Judah to the people of Jerusalem who were upon the wall, to frighten and terrify them, in order that they might take the city.
32:19 他們論耶路撒冷的　神，如同論世上人手所造的神一樣。
And they spoke of the God of Jerusalem as they spoke of the gods of the peoples of the earth, which are the work of men's hands.
32:20 希西家王和亞摩斯的兒子先知以賽亞因此禱告，向天呼求。
Then Hezeki'ah the king and Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, prayed because of this and cried to heaven.
32:21 耶和華就差遣一個使者進入亞述王營中，把所有大能的勇士和官長、將帥盡都滅了。亞述王滿面含羞地回到本國，進了他神的廟中，有他親生的兒子在那裡用刀殺了他。
And the LORD sent an angel, who cut off all the mighty warriors and commanders and officers in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he came into the house of his god, some of his own sons struck him down there with the sword.
32:22 這樣，耶和華救希西家和耶路撒冷的居民脫離亞述王西拿基立的手，也脫離一切仇敵的手，又賜他們四境平安。
So the LORD saved Hezeki'ah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennach'erib king of Assyria and from the hand of all his enemies; and he gave them rest on every side.
32:23 有許多人到耶路撒冷，將供物獻與耶和華，又將寶物送給猶大王希西家。此後，希西家在列邦人的眼中看為尊大。
And many brought gifts to the LORD to Jerusalem and precious things to Hezeki'ah king of Judah, so that he was exalted in the sight of all nations from that time onward.
32:24 那時希西家病得要死，就禱告耶和華，耶和華應允他，賜他一個兆頭。
In those days Hezeki'ah became sick and was at the point of death, and he prayed to the LORD; and he answered him and gave him a sign.
32:25 希西家卻沒有照他所蒙的恩報答耶和華；因他心裡驕傲，所以忿怒要臨到他和猶大並耶路撒冷。
But Hezeki'ah did not make return according to the benefit done to him, for his heart was proud. Therefore wrath came upon him and Judah and Jerusalem.
32:26 但希西家和耶路撒冷的居民覺得心裡驕傲，就一同自卑，以致耶和華的忿怒在希西家的日子沒有臨到他們。
But Hezeki'ah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD did not come upon them in the days of Hezeki'ah.
32:27 希西家大有尊榮資財，建造府庫，收藏金銀、寶石、香料、盾牌，和各樣的寶器，
And Hezeki'ah had very great riches and honor; and he made for himself treasuries for silver, for gold, for precious stones, for spices, for shields, and for all kinds of costly vessels;
32:28 又建造倉房，收藏五穀、新酒，和油，又為各類牲畜蓋棚立圈；
storehouses also for the yield of grain, wine, and oil; and stalls for all kinds of cattle, and sheepfolds.
32:29 並且建立城邑，還有許多的羊群牛群，因為　神賜他極多的財產。
He likewise provided cities for himself, and flocks and herds in abundance; for God had given him very great possessions.
32:30 這希西家也塞住基訓的上源，引水直下，流在大衛城的西邊。希西家所行的事盡都亨通。
This same Hezeki'ah closed the upper outlet of the waters of Gihon and directed them down to the west side of the city of David. And Hezeki'ah prospered in all his works.
32:31 惟有一件事，就是巴比倫王差遣使者來見希西家，訪問國中所現的奇事；這件事　神離開他，要試驗他，好知道他心內如何。
And so in the matter of the envoys of the princes of Babylon, who had been sent to him to inquire about the sign that had been done in the land, God left him to himself, in order to try him and to know all that was in his heart.
32:32 希西家其餘的事和他的善行都寫在亞摩斯的兒子先知以賽亞的默示書上和猶大、以色列的諸王記上。
Now the rest of the acts of Hezeki'ah, and his good deeds, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz, in the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.
32:33 希西家與他列祖同睡，葬在大衛子孫的高陵上。他死的時候，猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民都尊敬他。他兒子瑪拿西接續他作王。
And Hezeki'ah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the ascent of the tombs of the sons of David; and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honor at his death. And Manas'seh his son reigned in his stead.
