�文: 民�� 16:1-4 利未的曾�、哥�的�子、以斯哈的�子可拉，和流便子�中以利押的�子大坍、�比�，�比勒的�子安，�以色列�中的二百五十�首�，就是有名望�入�中的人，在摩西面前一同起�，聚集攻�摩西、��，�：「你�擅自��！全����既是��，耶和�也在他�中�，你��什�自高，超�耶和�的��呢？摩西����就俯伏在地。
默想: 可拉一�的人都是被耶和���在�所服侍的利未人。他��慕祭司的�份，不是等候耶和�的呼召���，而是向上帝所��的摩西���挑��抱怨。�摩西�他�一起到�幕前面等候耶和��自�彰�他的呼召�，可拉一�中的大坍��比�，�拒��服，以致於耶和��大地�口，�他��人所住�蓬整�掉入地洞之中而�亡。其�的可拉一�的人，拿著香�到�幕�口，�果招致耶和�的火�耶和�面前出�，��他�。求主�助我，蒙主呼召�，�意忠心守住自己的本位，每天忠心侍奉。不要�其他的同工比�或��，而感到不�抱怨。

16:1 利未的曾�、哥�的�子、以斯哈的�子可拉，和流便子�中以利押的�子大坍、�比�，�比勒的�子安，
Now Korah the son of Izhar, son of Kohath, son of Levi, and Dathan and Abi'ram the sons of Eli'ab, and On the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben,
16:2 �以色列�中的二百五十�首�，就是有名望�入�中的人，在摩西面前一同起�，
took men; and they rose up before Moses, with a number of the people of Israel, two hundred and fifty leaders of the congregation, chosen from the assembly, well-known men;
16:3 聚集攻�摩西、��，�：「你�擅自��！全����既是��，耶和�也在他�中�，你��甚�自高，超�耶和�的��呢？」
and they assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, "You have gone too far! For all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them; why then do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the LORD?"
16:4 摩西����就俯伏在地，
When Moses heard it, he fell on his face;
16:5 �可拉和他一�的人�：「到了早晨，耶和�必指示�是�他的，�是��的，就叫��近他；他所��的是�，必叫��近他。
and he said to Korah and all his company, "In the morning the LORD will show who is his, and who is holy, and will cause him to come near to him; him whom he will choose he will cause to come near to him.
16:6 可拉啊，你�要��行，你和你的一�要拿香��。
Do this: take censers, Korah and all his company;
16:7 明日，在耶和�面前，把火盛在�中，把香放在其上。耶和����，�就���。你��利未的子�擅自��了！」
put fire in them and put incense upon them before the LORD tomorrow, and the man whom the LORD chooses shall be the holy one. You have gone too far, sons of Levi!"
16:8 摩西又�可拉�：「利未的子�哪，你��我�！
And Moses said to Korah, "Hear now, you sons of Levi:
16:9 以色列的 神�以色列�中�你�分�出�，使你��近他，�耶和��幕的事，�站在��面前替他��差。
is it too small a thing for you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself, to do service in the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them;
16:10 耶和�又使你和你一切弟兄─利未的子�─一同�近他，���小事？你��要求祭司的�任�？
and that he has brought you near him, and all your brethren the sons of Levi with you? And would you seek the priesthood also?
16:11 你和你一�的人聚集是要攻�耶和�。��算甚�，你�竟向他�怨言呢？」
Therefore it is against the LORD that you and all your company have gathered together; what is Aaron that you murmur against him?"
16:12 摩西打�人去召以利押的�子大坍、�比�。他��：「我�不上去！
And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abi'ram the sons of Eli'ab; and they said, "We will not come up.
16:13 你�我��流奶�蜜之地�上�，要在�野�我�，���小事？你�要自立�王�管我��？
Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, that you must also make yourself a prince over us?
16:14 �且你�有�我��到流奶�蜜之地，也�有把田地和葡萄��我���。�道你要剜�些人的眼睛�？我�不上去！」
Moreover you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards. Will you put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up."
16:15 摩西就甚�怒，�耶和��：「求你不要享受他�的供物。我��有��他�一匹�，也�有害�他�一�人。」
And Moses was very angry, and said to the LORD, "Do not respect their offering. I have not taken one ass from them, and I have not harmed one of them."
16:16 摩西�可拉�：「明天，你和你一�的人，���，都要站在耶和�面前；
And Moses said to Korah, "Be present, you and all your company, before the LORD, you and they, and Aaron, tomorrow;
16:17 各人要拿一�香�，共二百五十�，把香放在上面，到耶和�面前。你和��也各拿自己的香�。」
and let every one of you take his censer, and put incense upon it, and every one of you bring before the LORD his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; you also, and Aaron, each his censer."
16:18 於是他�各人拿一�香�，盛上火，加上香，同摩西、��站在�幕�前。
So every man took his censer, and they put fire in them and laid incense upon them, and they stood at the entrance of the tent of meeting with Moses and Aaron.
16:19 可拉招聚全��到�幕�前，要攻�摩西、��；耶和�的�光就向全����。
Then Korah assembled all the congregation against them at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And the glory of the LORD appeared to all the congregation.
16:20 耶和���摩西、���：
And the LORD said to Moses and to Aaron,
16:21 「你������，我好在�眼之�把他���。」
"Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment."
16:22 摩西、��就俯伏在地，�：「 神，�人之�的 神啊，一人犯罪，你就要向全���怒�？」
And they fell on their faces, and said, "O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be angry with all the congregation?"
16:23 耶和���摩西�：
And the LORD said to Moses,
16:24 「你吩咐���：『你���可拉、大坍、�比��棚的四�。』」
"Say to the congregation, Get away from about the dwelling of Korah, Dathan, and Abi'ram."
16:25 摩西起�，往大坍、�比�那�去；以色列的�老也�著他去。
Then Moses rose and went to Dathan and Abi'ram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
16:26 他吩咐���：「你�����人的�棚吧，他�的物件，甚�都不可摸，恐怕你�陷在他�的罪中，�他�一同消�。」
And he said to the congregation, "Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest you be swept away with all their sins."
16:27 於是�人��可拉、大坍、�比��棚的四�。大坍、�比��著妻子、�女、小孩子，都出�，站在自己的�棚�口。
So they got away from about the dwelling of Korah, Dathan, and Abi'ram; and Dathan and Abi'ram came out and stood at the door of their tents, together with their wives, their sons, and their little ones.
16:28 摩西�：「我行的�一切事本不是�我自己心意行的，乃是耶和�打�我行的，必有��使你�知道。
And Moses said, "Hereby you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works, and that it has not been of my own accord.
16:29 �些人死若�世人��，或是他�所遭的�世人相同，就不是耶和�打�我�的。
If these men die the common death of all men, or if they are visited by the fate of all men, then the LORD has not sent me.
16:30 倘若耶和��作一件新事，使地�口，把他�和一切�他�的都吞下去，叫他�活活的�落��，你�就明白�些人是藐�耶和�了。」
But if the LORD creates something new, and the ground opens its mouth, and swallows them up, with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, then you shall know that these men have despised the LORD."
16:31 摩西��完了�一切�，他��下的地就�了口，
And as he finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split asunder;
16:32 把他�和他�的家眷，�一切�可拉的人丁、�物，都吞下去。
and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men that belonged to Korah and all their goods.
16:33 ��，他�和一切�他�的，都活活的�落��；地口在他�上�照�合�，他�就��中�亡。
So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol; and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.
16:34 在他�四�的以色列�人�他�呼�，就都逃跑，�：「恐怕地也把我�吞下去。」
And all Israel that were round about them fled at their cry; for they said, "Lest the earth swallow us up!"
16:35 又有火�耶和�那�出�，��了那�香的二百五十�人。
And fire came forth from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men offering the incense.
16:36 耶和���摩西�：
Then the LORD said to Moses,
16:37 「你吩咐祭司��的�子以利�撒�火中�起那些香��，把火撒在��，因�那些香�是�的。
"Tell Elea'zar the son of Aaron the priest to take up the censers out of the blaze; then scatter the fire far and wide. For they are holy,
16:38 把那些犯罪、自害己命之人的香�，叫人�成片子，用以包�。那些香�本是他�在耶和�面前��的，所以是�的，�且可以�以色列人作��。」
the censers of these men who have sinned at the cost of their lives; so let them be made into hammered plates as a covering for the altar, for they offered them before the LORD; therefore they are holy. Thus they shall be a sign to the people of Israel."
16:39 於是祭司以利�撒�被�之人所�的�香�拿�，人就�出�，用以包�，
So Elea'zar the priest took the bronze censers, which those who were burned had offered; and they were hammered out as a covering for the altar,
16:40 �以色列人作�念，使��後裔之外的人不得近前�在耶和�面前�香，免得他遭可拉和他一�所遭的。�乃是照耶和�藉著摩西所吩咐的。
to be a reminder to the people of Israel, so that no one who is not a priest, who is not of the descendants of Aaron, should draw near to burn incense before the LORD, lest he become as Korah and as his company -- as the LORD said to Elea'zar through Moses.
16:41 第二天，以色列全��都向摩西、���怨言�：「你��了耶和�的百姓了。」
But on the morrow all the congregation of the people of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, "You have killed the people of the LORD."
16:42 ��聚集攻�摩西、��的�候，向�幕�看，不料，有�彩遮�了，耶和�的�光��。
And when the congregation had assembled against Moses and against Aaron, they turned toward the tent of meeting; and behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
16:43 摩西、��就�到�幕前。
And Moses and Aaron came to the front of the tent of meeting,
16:44 耶和�吩咐摩西�：
and the LORD said to Moses,
16:45 「你������，我好在�眼之�把他���。」他�二人就俯伏於地。
"Get away from the midst of this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment." And they fell on their faces.
16:46 摩西����：「拿你的香�，把�上的火盛在其中，又加上香，快快�到��那�，�他��罪；因�有忿怒�耶和�那�出�，瘟疫已��作了。」
And Moses said to Aaron, "Take your censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and lay incense on it, and carry it quickly to the congregation, and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone forth from the LORD, the plague has begun."
16:47 ��照著摩西所�的拿�，跑到�中，不料，瘟疫在百姓中已��作了。他就加上香，�百姓�罪。
So Aaron took it as Moses said, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and behold, the plague had already begun among the people; and he put on the incense, and made atonement for the people.
16:48 他站在活人死人中�，瘟疫就止住了。
And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stopped.
16:49 除了因可拉事情死的以外，遭瘟疫死的，共有一�四千七百人。
Now those who died by the plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those who died in the affair of Korah.
16:50 ��回到�幕�口，到摩西那�，瘟疫已�止住了。
And Aaron returned to Moses at the entrance of the tent of meeting, when the plague was stopped.

可拉黨發怨言的原因，顯然是出於嫉妒和滿足己慾。可拉聚集二百五十位『首領』……等有名望的人，他們發怨言攻擊/控告摩西和亞倫『擅自專權』，想奪取領袖的地位（3節）；又不守先前所許下的諾言（14節）。其實真正的原因：1. 他們不滿目前的事奉崗位，覺得在帳幕裏所辦理的事毫不出色（9節）。2. 他們期望得到較重要的職任以增強地位與名分（10節）。3. 他們懷疑神的愛及其智慧（11節上）。4. 他們的不滿集中在一個無辜的人身上（11節下）。可拉黨他們用來指 控（3節）的『自高超過』נָשָׂא nasa’ (hitp) be arrogant）。同樣的字根נָשָׂא nasa出現在箴言 30:32節：『你若行事愚頑，自高自傲נָשָׂא nasa ，（self exaltation ）或是懷了惡念，就當用手摀口』 。可見，他們才是自高自大。他們想得到名聲，導致從耶和華那裏被逐出，因此到了那個時候他們被稱為上帝的敵人。
回覆刪除摩西對怨言的反應：摩西沒有發怒，他反而自己謙卑地俯伏在耶和華面前（4節），並將事情全交託給神（5～7節）。這是一項聰明的決定。惟有耶和華才能『指示誰是屬祂的』，『誰是聖潔的』？（5節）。但是在這個情況下，挑戰是來自另外的上帝的受膏者利位人（8節）。這不是一種弟兄姐妹對聖職人員的爭論，而是聖職人員對聖職人員的爭辯，它是一場關於祭司權柄的爭辯。而真正得失攸關的，究竟是否所有的人都願接受上帝的權柄。正如11節問道：『亞倫算甚麼？』批判亞倫即是批判上帝。摩西以一種斷然的聲明作結論：『你們的怨言不是向我們發的，乃是向耶和華發的』。可見摩西面對不公平的批評與攻擊時，摩西的榜樣是我們當效法的，那才是真正屬靈人應有的表現！
反思：今天教會和機構仍有類似的事不斷發生，被神呼召而又有真正事奉神的心之領袖時常被人嫉妒和攻擊。所以，或許你是教會的領導階層，如牧者、執事，甚至是團契或詩班的主席，你得先有足夠心理準備來面對類似的攔阻或失望。確實『嫉妒』是深藏在人心裏，很可怕的罪。使徒保羅勸勉基督徒，要順服掌權的，正如羅13：1-2節所述：『在上有權柄的，人人當順服他，因為沒有權柄不是出於上帝的。……』。求主幫助我們，常常不斷提醒自己：主是替人伸冤的神，當我面對怨言時, 被人嫉妒和攻擊時，學習順服神，要謙卑俯伏下來，將事情全交託給神，有祂作主。
