W5 2011-12-16(林前6)經文: 哥林多前書 6:7-8 你們彼此告狀,這已經是你們的大錯了。為什麼不情願受欺呢?為什麼不情願吃虧呢?你們倒是欺壓人、虧負人,況且所欺壓所虧負的就是弟兄。

經文: 哥林多前書 6:7-8 你們彼此告狀,這已經是你們的大錯了。為什麼不情願受欺呢?為什麼不情願吃虧呢?你們倒是欺壓人、虧負人,況且所欺壓所虧負的就是弟兄。

默想: 保羅在此似乎是反對基督徒到法庭互相控告。但是,保羅則贊成在教會設立宗教法庭來審理基督徒之間的爭執。保羅具有很強的法利賽人背景。在耶穌的時代,以色列有一個公會 (Sanhedrin),是由大祭司當主席,另有一位副主息,還有六十九位成員所組成的龐大陪審團,共有七十一名。這個公會在夜半開會,把我們的主耶穌基督判成死罪,然後,由於他們不具有判決死刑的司法權柄,將主耶穌轉送給羅馬法庭去接受彼拉多的不公義審判。彼拉多則考量自己的政治前途而將主耶穌進行政治判決,在旁觀席群眾的巨大壓力之下,判決主耶穌十字架的酷刑。保羅似乎要求一個比公義更高的行為標準,就是情願受欺與吃虧,也不訴諸公權利來申張公義。這種想法與作法對於加害者與受害者會帶來怎樣的影響,或許值得我們探討。

題目: 1-11節,教會中待人處事的原則為何?你有何看法與建議?
6:1 你們中間有彼此相爭的事,怎敢在不義的人面前求審,不在聖徒面前求審呢?
When one of you has a grievance against a brother, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints?
6:2
豈不知聖徒要審判世界嗎?若世界為你們所審,難道你們不配審判這最小的事嗎?
Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases?
6:3
豈不知我們要審判天使嗎?何況今生的事呢?
Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, matters pertaining to this life!
6:4
既是這樣,你們若有今生的事當審判,是派教會所輕看的人審判嗎?
If then you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who are least esteemed by the church?
6:5
我說這話是要叫你們羞恥。難道你們中間沒有一個智慧人能審斷弟兄們的事嗎?
I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no man among you wise enough to decide between members of the brotherhood,
6:6
你們竟是弟兄與弟兄告狀,而且告在不信主的人面前。
but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers?
6:7
你們彼此告狀,這已經是你們的大錯了。為甚麼不情願受欺呢?為甚麼不情願吃虧呢?
To have lawsuits at all with one another is defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?
6:8
你們倒是欺壓人、虧負人,況且所欺壓所虧負的就是弟兄。
But you yourselves wrong and defraud, and that even your own brethren.
6:9
你們豈不知不義的人不能承受 神的國嗎?不要自欺!無論是淫亂的、拜偶像的、姦淫的、作孌童的、親男色的、
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor sexual perverts,
6:10
偷竊的、貪婪的、醉酒的、辱罵的、勒索的,都不能承受 神的國。
nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God.
6:11
你們中間也有人從前是這樣;但如今你們奉主耶穌基督的名,並藉著我們 神的靈,已經洗淨,成聖,稱義了。
And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
6:12
凡事我都可行,但不都有益處。凡事我都可行,但無論那一件,我總不受它的轄制。
"All things are lawful for me," but not all things are helpful. "All things are lawful for me," but I will not be enslaved by anything.
6:13
食物是為肚腹,肚腹是為食物;但 神要叫這兩樣都廢壞。身子不是為淫亂,乃是為主;主也是為身子。
"Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food" -- and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
6:14
並且 神已經叫主復活,也要用自己的能力叫我們復活。
And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power.
6:15
豈不知你們的身子是基督的肢體嗎?我可以將基督的肢體作為娼妓的肢體嗎?斷乎不可!
Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I therefore take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!
6:16
豈不知與娼妓聯合的,便是與她成為一體嗎?因為主說:二人要成為一體。
Do you not know that he who joins himself to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, "The two shall become one flesh."
6:17
但與主聯合的,便是與主成為一靈。
But he who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.
6:18
你們要逃避淫行。人所犯的,無論甚麼罪,都在身子以外,惟有行淫的,是得罪自己的身子。
Shun immorality. Every other sin which a man commits is outside the body; but the immoral man sins against his own body.
6:19
豈不知你們的身子就是聖靈的殿嗎?這聖靈是從 神而來,住在你們裡頭的;並且你們不是自己的人;
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own;
6:20
因為你們是重價買來的。所以,要在你們的身子上榮耀 神。
you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

  1. 教會中待人處事的原則: 教會中弟兄姐妹,不可彼此告狀,不可告於外邦人(1~6節),乃應告於教會所重看的聖徒面前;訴訟不合乎基督徒順服的精神,這樣作是得罪教會、反對教會、藐視教會。因為教會是有權柄、有智慧,足以判斷這小事的。弟兄互訟根本是錯;『為甚麼不情願受欺呢?為甚麼不情願吃虧呢?』,情願吞聲忍氣,也不要在不義的法庭前求審。弟兄彼此為著地上的財利告狀,這正違犯了主最後的命令:『彼此相愛』(約十三34)。所以若爭論誰是誰非,都不蒙主喜悅;只有情願受欺並肯吃虧,才合主的心意。(7~8節)。

    本段經文11節告訴我們:「你們中間也有人從前是這樣;但如今你們奉主耶穌基督的名,並藉著我們神的靈,已經洗淨,成聖,稱義了」。可見不義的人,不能承受神的國」。這裡啟示了教會得力量去處理爭端、施行公義的秘訣。「已經洗淨」指的是相信主耶穌,得到潔淨。感謝上帝,我們因主耶穌的寶血洗淨,而從世界和周遭的社會分別出來,已經分別為聖,被稱為義了。我們既已稱義,就得以承受神的國。我們的靈裡就得以成聖,稱義,我們可以感覺到神的義在我們裡面動工。藉著這些,我們被裝備妥當。我們中間若有分爭,萬萬不向那教會之外的人,不潔淨,不被稱義的外邦人求審。

    不管怎樣,基督徒彼此之間的分爭,都應該在教會裡面解決。這是本段經文所教導的一項重要原則。
