經文: 利未記 20:23-26 我在你們面前所逐出的國民，你們不可隨從他們的風俗；因為他們行了這一切的事，所以我厭惡他們。但我對你們說過，你們要承受他們的地，就是我要賜給你們為業、流奶與蜜之地。我是耶和華你們的神，使你們與萬民有分別的。所以，你們要把潔淨和不潔淨的禽獸分別出來；不可因我給你們分為不潔淨的禽獸，或是滋生在地上的活物，使自己成為可憎惡的。你們要歸我為聖，因為我耶和華是聖的，並叫你們與萬民有分別，使你們作我的民。
默想: 本章經文更清楚寫出對於觸犯了上一章經文中有關祭拜異教神明摩洛、對父母有不孝敬、與近親女性發生性行為、或是與男性或獸類發生性行為等典章律例著處罰，是非常嚴重的唯一死刑。耶和華強調，這些都是迦南人既有的風俗惡習，耶和華是因為他們的這些風俗惡習，才將他們逐出迦南這塊流奶與蜜之美地。因此，以色列人要小心的過分別為聖的生活，才能歸耶和華為聖。新約保羅在羅馬書也說，所以弟兄們，我以神的慈悲勸你們，將身體獻上，當作活祭，是聖潔的，是神所喜悅的；你們如此事奉乃是理所當然的。不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，叫你們察驗何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。(羅12:1-2) 求主教導我，如何能察驗你那善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意，好讓我能夠過分別為聖的生活。
題目: 22-26節，上帝要以色列民遵守律例典章的用意與目標？對你有何提醒？
20:1 耶和華對摩西說：
The LORD said to Moses,
20:2 「你還要曉諭以色列人說：凡以色列人，或是在以色列中寄居的外人，把自己的兒女獻給摩洛的，總要治死他；本地人要用石頭把他打死。
"Say to the people of Israel, Any man of the people of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, who gives any of his children to Molech shall be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
20:3 我也要向那人變臉，把他從民中剪除；因為他把兒女獻給摩洛，玷污我的聖所，褻瀆我的聖名。
I myself will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given one of his children to Molech, defiling my sanctuary and profaning my holy name.
20:4 那人把兒女獻給摩洛，本地人若佯為不見，不把他治死，
And if the people of the land do at all hide their eyes from that man, when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death,
20:5 我就要向這人和他的家變臉，把他和一切隨他與摩洛行邪淫的人都從民中剪除。
then I will set my face against that man and against his family, and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in playing the harlot after Molech.
20:6 「人偏向交鬼的和行巫術的，隨他們行邪淫，我要向那人變臉，把他從民中剪除。
"If a person turns to mediums and wizards, playing the harlot after them, I will set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people.
20:7 所以你們要自潔成聖，因為我是耶和華─你們的 神。
Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am the LORD your God.
20:8 你們要謹守遵行我的律例；我是叫你們成聖的耶和華。
Keep my statutes, and do them; I am the LORD who sanctify you.
20:9 凡咒罵父母的，總要治死他；他咒罵了父母，他的罪（罪原文是血；本章同）要歸到他身上。
For every one who curses his father or his mother shall be put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother, his blood is upon him.
20:10 「，與鄰舍之妻行淫的，姦夫淫婦都必治死。
"If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall be put to death.
20:11 與繼母行淫的，就是羞辱了他父親，總要把他們二人治死，罪要歸到他們身上。
The man who lies with his father's wife has uncovered his father's nakedness; both of them shall be put to death, their blood is upon them.
20:12 與兒婦同房的，總要把他們二人治死；他們行了逆倫的事，罪要歸到他們身上。
If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall be put to death; they have committed incest, their blood is upon them.
20:13 人若與男人苟合，像與女人一樣，他們二人行了可憎的事，總要把他們治死，罪要歸到他們身上。
If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them.
20:14 人若娶妻，並娶其母，便是大惡，要把這三人用火焚燒，使你們中間免去大惡。
If a man takes a wife and her mother also, it is wickedness; they shall be burned with fire, both he and they, that there may be no wickedness among you.
20:15 人若與獸淫合，總要治死他，也要殺那獸。
If a man lies with a beast, he shall be put to death; and you shall kill the beast.
20:16 女人若與獸親近，與牠淫合，你要殺那女人和那獸，總要把他們治死，罪要歸到他們身上。
If a woman approaches any beast and lies with it, you shall kill the woman and the beast; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them.
20:17 「人若娶他的姊妹，無論是異母同父的，是異父同母的，彼此見了下體，這是可恥的事；他們必在本民的眼前被剪除。他露了姊妹的下體，必擔當自己的罪孽。
"If a man takes his sister, a daughter of his father or a daughter of his mother, and sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness, it is a shameful thing, and they shall be cut off in the sight of the children of their people; he has uncovered his sister's nakedness, he shall bear his iniquity.
20:18 婦人有月經，若與她同房，露了她的下體，就是露了婦人的血源，婦人也露了自己的血源，二人必從民中剪除。
If a man lies with a woman having her sickness, and uncovers her nakedness, he has made naked her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood; both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
20:19 不可露姨母或是姑母的下體，這是露了骨肉之親的下體；二人必擔當自己的罪孽。
You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister or of your father's sister, for that is to make naked one's near kin; they shall bear their iniquity.
20:20 人若與伯叔之妻同房，就羞辱了他的伯叔；二人要擔當自己的罪，必無子女而死。
If a man lies with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness; they shall bear their sin, they shall die childless.
20:21 人若娶弟兄之妻，這本是污穢的事，羞辱了他的弟兄；二人必無子女。
If a man takes his brother's wife, it is impurity; he has uncovered his brother's nakedness, they shall be childless.
20:22 「所以，你們要謹守遵行我一切的律例典章，免得我領你們去住的那地把你們吐出。
"You shall therefore keep all my statutes and all my ordinances, and do them; that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out.
20:23 我在你們面前所逐出的國民，你們不可隨從他們的風俗；因為他們行了這一切的事，所以我厭惡他們。
And you shall not walk in the customs of the nation which I am casting out before you; for they did all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
20:24 但我對你們說過，你們要承受他們的地，就是我要賜給你們為業、流奶與蜜之地。我是耶和華─你們的 神，使你們與萬民有分別的。
But I have said to you, `You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.' I am the LORD your God, who have separated you from the peoples.
20:25 所以，你們要把潔淨和不潔淨的禽獸分別出來；不可因我給你們分為不潔淨的禽獸，或是滋生在地上的活物，使自己成為可憎惡的。
You shall therefore make a distinction between the clean beast and the unclean, and between the unclean bird and the clean; you shall not make yourselves abominable by beast or by bird or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have set apart for you to hold unclean.
20:26 你們要歸我為聖，因為我─耶和華是聖的，並叫你們與萬民有分別，使你們作我的民。
You shall be holy to me; for I the LORD am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine.
20:27 「無論男女，是交鬼的或行巫術的，總要治死他們。人必用石頭把他們打死，罪要歸到他們身上。」
"A man or a woman who is a medium or a wizard shall be put to death; they shall be stoned with stones, their blood shall be upon them."
The LORD said to Moses,

上帝要以色列民遵守律例典章， 過「分別為聖」的生活，才能歸耶和華為聖。
回覆刪除利未記20章的主題，乃是針對倫理生活不聖潔，招致的「刑罰」。「刑罰」是父親愛兒子，為達成管教目的，而不得不採取的途徑（來12：5-11）。「刑罰」是要使上帝的選民保持聖潔身份，與迦南人的生活中分別出來；「刑罰」是要使上帝的選民受警惕，勿玷迦南人習俗的罪污。所以，上帝的管教，要使我們得益處，在祂的聖潔上有分。
