經文: 利未記 17:10 凡以色列家中的人，或是寄居在他們中間的外人，若吃什麼血，我必向那吃血的人變臉，把他從民中剪除。因為活物的生命是在血中。我把這血賜給你們，可以在壇上為你們的生命贖罪；因血裡有生命，所以能贖罪。因此，我對以色列人說：你們都不可吃血；寄居在你們中間的外人也不可吃血。
默想: 本段經文提到血與生命的關係。因為生命是在血裡面，因此，血可以獻在壇上為我們贖罪。也因此，以色列人以及居住在以色列中間的外人，都被禁止吃血。這個禁令，到了初代教會的第一次大會中的議決，還再度被肯定 (參閱徒15:20)。但是，主耶穌卻告訴他的門徒，要喝他的血 (約6:53-56)。我們從此就知道，有關於血的禁令與命令，重點並不在於是否用口喝下血，而是血所代表的生命。罪惡的救贖，是須要犧牲生命作為代價。我們要以信心來接納主耶穌在十字架上為我們犧牲流血捨命的恩典，我們的罪惡才能夠得到赦免。
題目: 3-9節，上帝為甚麼不許以色列人在會幕以外獻祭呢？你有何看法？
17:1 耶和華對摩西說：
And the LORD said to Moses,
17:2 「你曉諭亞倫和他兒子並以色列眾人說，耶和華所吩咐的乃是這樣：
"Say to Aaron and his sons, and to all the people of Israel, This is the thing which the LORD has commanded.
17:3 凡以色列家中的人宰公牛，或是綿羊羔，或是山羊，不拘宰於營內營外，
If any man of the house of Israel kills an ox or a lamb or a goat in the camp, or kills it outside the camp,
17:4 若未曾牽到會幕門口、耶和華的帳幕前獻給耶和華為供物，流血的罪必歸到那人身上。他流了血，要從民中剪除。
and does not bring it to the door of the tent of meeting, to offer it as a gift to the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD, bloodguilt shall be imputed to that man; he has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people.
17:5 這是為要使以色列人把他們在田野裡所獻的祭帶到會幕門口、耶和華面前，交給祭司，獻與耶和華為平安祭。
This is to the end that the people of Israel may bring their sacrifices which they slay in the open field, that they may bring them to the LORD, to the priest at the door of the tent of meeting, and slay them as sacrifices of peace offerings to the LORD;
17:6 祭司要把血灑在會幕門口、耶和華的壇上，把脂油焚燒，獻給耶和華為馨香的祭。
and the priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of the LORD at the door of the tent of meeting, and burn the fat for a pleasing odor to the LORD.
17:7 他們不可再獻祭給他們行邪淫所隨從的鬼魔（原文作公山羊）；這要作他們世世代代永遠的定例。
So they shall no more slay their sacrifices for satyrs, after whom they play the harlot. This shall be a statute for ever to them throughout their generations.
17:8 「你要曉諭他們說：凡以色列家中的人，或是寄居在他們中間的外人，獻燔祭或是平安祭，
"And you shall say to them, Any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,
17:9 若不帶到會幕門口獻給耶和華，那人必從民中剪除。
and does not bring it to the door of the tent of meeting, to sacrifice it to the LORD; that man shall be cut off from his people.
17:10 「凡以色列家中的人，或是寄居在他們中間的外人，若吃甚麼血，我必向那吃血的人變臉，把他從民中剪除。
"If any man of the house of Israel or of the strangers that sojourn among them eats any blood, I will set my face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
17:11 因為活物的生命是在血中。我把這血賜給你們，可以在壇上為你們的生命贖罪；因血裡有生命，所以能贖罪。
For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it for you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement, by reason of the life.
17:12 因此，我對以色列人說：你們都不可吃血；寄居在你們中間的外人也不可吃血。
Therefore I have said to the people of Israel, No person among you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger who sojourns among you eat blood.
17:13 凡以色列人，或是寄居在他們中間的外人，若打獵得了可吃的禽獸，必放出他的血來，用土掩蓋。
Any man also of the people of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among them, who takes in hunting any beast or bird that may be eaten shall pour out its blood and cover it with dust.
17:14 「論到一切活物的生命，就在血中。所以我對以色列人說：無論甚麼活物的血，你們都不可吃，因為一切活物的血就是他的生命。凡吃了血的，必被剪除。
"For the life of every creature is the blood of it; therefore I have said to the people of Israel, You shall not eat the blood of any creature, for the life of every creature is its blood; whoever eats it shall be cut off.
17:15 凡吃自死的，或是被野獸撕裂的，無論是本地人，是寄居的，必不潔淨到晚上，都要洗衣服，用水洗身，到了晚上才為潔淨。
And every person that eats what dies of itself or what is torn by beasts, whether he is a native or a sojourner, shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening; then he shall be clean.
17:16 但他若不洗衣服，也不洗身，就必擔當他的罪孽。」
But if he does not wash them or bathe his flesh, he shall bear his iniquity."
And the LORD said to Moses,
17:2 「你曉諭亞倫和他兒子並以色列眾人說，耶和華所吩咐的乃是這樣：

獻祭的地點在「會幕門口」是上帝所訂立的，不容人更改。會幕門口是舊約以色列人與上帝唯一相會的地方，會幕所在之處是一個聖潔的地方。因上帝是聖潔的，祂的百姓也必須聖潔地來獻祭，獻祭的對象是聖潔的上帝。上帝不喜歡人在在會幕以外，不聖潔的地方獻祭。主耶穌說：「我就是道路、真理、生命，若不藉我，沒有人能到父那裏去。」（約十四6）感謝神，今天基督耶穌成為我們的挽回祭，憑著祂的血，藉著人的信，要顯明上帝的義；因為祂用忍耐的心寬容我們先時所犯的罪（羅馬書 3:25）。
