經文: 馬太福音 27:24 彼拉多見說也無濟於事，反要生亂，就拿水在眾人面前洗手，說：「流這義人的血，罪不在我，你們承當吧。」
默想: 彼拉多考慮的是政治上不要產生動亂，以免對於他的烏紗帽有所妨礙。彼拉多是巡撫，理當明察秋毫， 做出公平公正的審判才對。現在彼拉多既然稱耶穌是義人，就應該當庭宣判無罪開釋。他要判一個義人死罪，自己良心也過意不去，竟然想出一個完全無效的自我撇清儀式，當眾金盆洗手，企圖卸下自己不義判決的責任。求主耶穌幫助我，在遇到需要判斷是非善惡時，能夠公平公正，並且勇於對自己的判斷負擔責任。
題目: 在本章中，耶穌在面對彼拉多與十字架酷刑時，祂說了哪些話？你有何感想與學習？
27:1 到了早晨，眾祭司長和民間的長老大家商議要治死耶穌，
When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death;
27:2 就把他捆綁，解去，交給巡撫彼拉多。
and they bound him and led him away and delivered him to Pilate the governor.
27:3 這時候，賣耶穌的猶大看見耶穌已經定了罪，就後悔，把那三十塊錢拿回來給祭司長和長老，說：
When Judas, his betrayer, saw that he was condemned, he repented and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders,
27:4 「我賣了無辜之人的血是有罪了。」他們說：「那與我們有甚麼相干？你自己承當吧！」
saying, "I have sinned in betraying innocent blood." They said, "What is that to us? See to it yourself."
27:5 猶大就把那銀錢丟在殿裡，出去吊死了。
And throwing down the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed; and he went and hanged himself.
27:6 祭司長拾起銀錢來，說：「這是血價，不可放在庫裡。」
But the chief priests, taking the pieces of silver, said, "It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, since they are blood money."
27:7 他們商議，就用那銀錢買了窯戶的一塊田，為要埋葬外鄉人。
So they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
27:8 所以那塊田直到今日還叫做血田。
Therefore that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day.
27:9 這就應了先知耶利米的話，說：「他們用那三十塊錢，就是被估定之人的價錢，是以色列人中所估定的，
Then was fulfilled what had been spoken by the prophet Jeremiah, saying, "And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him on whom a price had been set by some of the sons of Israel,
27:10 買了窯戶的一塊田；這是照著主所吩咐我的」。
and they gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord directed me."
27:11 耶穌站在巡撫面前；巡撫問他說：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」耶穌說：「你說的是。」
Now Jesus stood before the governor; and the governor asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" Jesus said, "You have said so."
27:12 他被祭司長和長老控告的時候，甚麼都不回答。
But when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he made no answer.
27:13 彼拉多就對他說：「他們作見證告你這麼多的事，你沒有聽見麼？」
Then Pilate said to him, "Do you not hear how many things they testify against you?"
27:14 耶穌仍不回答，連一句話也不說，以致巡撫甚覺希奇。
But he gave him no answer, not even to a single charge; so that the governor wondered greatly.
27:15 巡撫有一個常例，每逢這節期，隨眾人所要的釋放一個囚犯給他們。
Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to release for the crowd any one prisoner whom they wanted.
27:16 當時有一個出名的囚犯叫巴拉巴。
And they had then a notorious prisoner, called Barab'bas.
27:17 眾人聚集的時候，彼拉多就對他們說：「你們要我釋放那一個給你們？是巴拉巴呢？是稱為基督的耶穌呢？」
So when they had gathered, Pilate said to them, "Whom do you want me to release for you, Barab'bas or Jesus who is called Christ?"
27:18 巡撫原知道他們是因為嫉妒才把他解了來。
For he knew that it was out of envy that they had delivered him up.
27:19 正坐堂的時候，他的夫人打發人來說：「這義人的事，你一點不可管，因為我今天在夢中為他受了許多的苦。」
Besides, while he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent word to him, "Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered much over him today in a dream."
27:20 祭司長和長老挑唆眾人，求釋放巴拉巴，除滅耶穌。
Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the people to ask for Barab'bas and destroy Jesus.
27:21 巡撫對眾人說：「這兩個人，你們要我釋放那一個給你們呢？」他們說：「巴拉巴。」
The governor again said to them, "Which of the two do you want me to release for you?" And they said, "Barab'bas."
27:22 彼拉多說：「這樣，那稱為基督的耶穌我怎麼辦他呢？」他們都說：「把他釘十字架！」
Pilate said to them, "Then what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?" They all said, "Let him be crucified."
27:23 巡撫說：「為甚麼呢？他作了甚麼惡事呢？」他們便極力地喊著說：「把他釘十字架！」
And he said, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they shouted all the more, "Let him be crucified."
27:24 彼拉多見說也無濟於事，反要生亂，就拿水在眾人面前洗手，說：「流這義人的血，罪不在我，你們承當吧。」
So when Pilate saw that he was gaining nothing, but rather that a riot was beginning, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of this man's blood; see to it yourselves."
27:25 眾人都回答說：「他的血歸到我們和我們的子孫身上。」
And all the people answered, "His blood be on us and on our children!"
27:26 於是彼拉多釋放巴拉巴給他們，把耶穌鞭打了，交給人釘十字架。
Then he released for them Barab'bas, and having scourged Jesus, delivered him to be crucified.
27:27 巡撫的兵就把耶穌帶進衙門，叫全營的兵都聚集在他那裡。
Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the praetorium, and they gathered the whole battalion before him.
27:28 他們給他脫了衣服，穿上一件朱紅色袍子，
And they stripped him and put a scarlet robe upon him,
27:29 用荊棘編做冠冕，戴在他頭上，拿一根葦子放在他右手裡，跪在他面前，戲弄他，說：「恭喜，猶太人的王啊！」
and plaiting a crown of thorns they put it on his head, and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before him they mocked him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!"
27:30 又吐唾沫在他臉上，拿葦子打他的頭。
And they spat upon him, and took the reed and struck him on the head.
27:31 戲弄完了，就給他脫了袍子，仍穿上他自己的衣服，帶他出去，要釘十字架。
And when they had mocked him, they stripped him of the robe, and put his own clothes on him, and led him away to crucify him.
27:32 他們出來的時候，遇見一個古利奈人，名叫西門，就勉強他同去，好背著耶穌的十字架。
As they went out, they came upon a man of Cyre'ne, Simon by name; this man they compelled to carry his cross.
27:33 到了一個地方名叫各各他，意思就是「髑髏地」。
And when they came to a place called Gol'gotha (which means the place of a skull),
27:34 兵丁拿苦膽調和的酒給耶穌喝。他嘗了，就不肯喝。
they offered him wine to drink, mingled with gall; but when he tasted it, he would not drink it.
27:35 他們既將他釘在十字架上，就拈鬮分他的衣服，
And when they had crucified him, they divided his garments among them by casting lots;
27:36 又坐在那裡看守他。
then they sat down and kept watch over him there.
27:37 在他頭以上安一個牌子，寫著他的罪狀，說：「這是猶太人的王耶穌。」
And over his head they put the charge against him, which read, "This is Jesus the King of the Jews."
27:38 當時，有兩個強盜和他同釘十字架，一個在右邊，一個在左邊。
Then two robbers were crucified with him, one on the right and one on the left.
27:39 從那裡經過的人譏誚他，搖著頭，說：
And those who passed by derided him, wagging their heads
27:40 「你這拆毀聖殿、三日又建造起來的，可以救自己吧！你如果是 神的兒子，就從十字架上下來吧！」
and saying, "You who would destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross."
27:41 祭司長和文士並長老也是這樣戲弄他，說：
So also the chief priests, with the scribes and elders, mocked him, saying,
27:42 「他救了別人，不能救自己。他是以色列的王，現在可以從十字架上下來，我們就信他。
"He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.
27:43 他倚靠 神， 神若喜悅他，現在可以救他；因為他曾說：『我是 神的兒子。』」
He trusts in God; let God deliver him now, if he desires him; for he said, `I am the Son of God.'"
27:44 那和他同釘的強盜也是這樣的譏誚他。
And the robbers who were crucified with him also reviled him in the same way.
27:45 從午正到申初，遍地都黑暗了。
Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.
27:46 約在申初，耶穌大聲喊著說：「以利！以利！拉馬撒巴各大尼？」就是說：「我的 神！我的 神！為甚麼離棄我？」
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, la'ma sabach-tha'ni?" that is, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
27:47 站在那裡的人，有的聽見就說：「這個人呼叫以利亞呢！」
And some of the bystanders hearing it said, "This man is calling Eli'jah."
27:48 內中有一個人趕緊跑去，拿海絨蘸滿了醋，綁在葦子上，送給他喝。
And one of them at once ran and took a sponge, filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink.
27:49 其餘的人說：「且等著，看以利亞來救他不來。」
But the others said, "Wait, let us see whether Eli'jah will come to save him."
27:50 耶穌又大聲喊叫，氣就斷了。
And Jesus cried again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit.
27:51 忽然，殿裡的幔子從上到下裂為兩半，地也震動，磐石也崩裂，
And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom; and the earth shook, and the rocks were split;
27:52 墳墓也開了，已睡聖徒的身體多有起來的。
the tombs also were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised,
27:53 到耶穌復活以後，他們從墳墓裡出來，進了聖城，向許多人顯現。
and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
27:54 百夫長和一同看守耶穌的人看見地震並所經歷的事，就極其害怕，說：「這真是 神的兒子了！」
When the centurion and those who were with him, keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and what took place, they were filled with awe, and said, "Truly this was the Son of God!"
27:55 有好些婦女在那裡，遠遠地觀看；她們是從加利利跟隨耶穌來服事他的。
There were also many women there, looking on from afar, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to him;
27:56 內中有抹大拉的馬利亞，又有雅各和約西的母親馬利亞，並有西庇太兩個兒子的母親。
among whom were Mary Mag'dalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zeb'edee.
27:57 到了晚上，有一個財主，名叫約瑟，是亞利馬太來的，他也是耶穌的門徒。
When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathe'a, named Joseph, who also was a disciple of Jesus.
27:58 這人去見彼拉多，求耶穌的身體；彼拉多就吩咐給他。
He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate ordered it to be given to him.
27:59 約瑟取了身體，用乾淨細麻布裹好，
And Joseph took the body, and wrapped it in a clean linen shroud,
27:60 安放在自己的新墳墓裡，就是他鑿在磐石裡的。他又把大石頭滾到墓門口，就去了。
and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn in the rock; and he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed.
27:61 有抹大拉的馬利亞和那個馬利亞在那裡，對著墳墓坐著。
Mary Mag'dalene and the other Mary were there, sitting opposite the sepulchre.
27:62 次日，就是預備日的第二天，祭司長和法利賽人聚集來見彼拉多，說：
Next day, that is, after the day of Preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered before Pilate
27:63 「大人，我們記得那誘惑人的還活著的時候曾說：『三日後我要復活。』
and said, "Sir, we remember how that impostor said, while he was still alive, `After three days I will rise again.'
27:64 因此，請吩咐人將墳墓把守妥當，直到第三日，恐怕他的門徒來，把他偷了去，就告訴百姓說：『他從死裡復活了。』這樣，那後來的迷惑比先前的更利害了！」
Therefore order the sepulchre to be made secure until the third day, lest his disciples go and steal him away, and tell the people, `He has risen from the dead,' and the last fraud will be worse than the first."
27:65 彼拉多說：「你們有看守的兵，去吧！盡你們所能的把守妥當。」
Pilate said to them, "You have a guard of soldiers; go, make it as secure as you can."
27:66 他們就帶著看守的兵同去，封了石頭，將墳墓把守妥當。
So they went and made the sepulchre secure by sealing the stone and setting a guard.
When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death;
27:2 就把他捆綁，解去，交給巡撫彼拉多。
and they bound him and led him away and delivered him to Pilate the governor.
27:3 這時候，賣耶穌的猶大看見耶穌已經定了罪，就後悔，把那三十塊錢拿回來給祭司長和長老，說：

27:63 「大人，我們記得那誘惑人的還活著的時候曾說：『三日後我要復活。』
and said, "Sir, we remember how that impostor said, while he was still alive, `After three days I will rise again.'
27:64 因此，請吩咐人將墳墓把守妥當，直到第三日，恐怕他的門徒來，把他偷了去，就告訴百姓說：『他從死裡復活了。』這樣，那後來的迷惑比先前的更利害了！」
Therefore order the sepulchre to be made secure until the third day, lest his disciples go and steal him away, and tell the people, `He has risen from the dead,' and the last fraud will be worse than the first."
27:65 彼拉多說：「你們有看守的兵，去吧！盡你們所能的把守妥當。」
Pilate said to them, "You have a guard of soldiers; go, make it as secure as you can."
27:66 他們就帶著看守的兵同去，封了石頭，將墳墓把守妥當。
So they went and made the sepulchre secure by sealing the stone and setting a guard.
