W3 2013-11-13以賽亞書8
8:5 耶和華又曉諭我說：
8:6 「這百姓既厭棄西羅亞緩流的水，喜悅利汛和利瑪利的兒子；
8:7 因此，主必使大河翻騰的水猛然沖來，就是亞述王和他所有的威勢，必漫過一切的水道，漲過兩岸；
8:8 必沖入猶大，漲溢氾濫，直到頸項。以馬內利啊，他展開翅膀，遍滿你的地。」
8:9 列國的人民哪，任憑你們喧嚷，終必破壞；遠方的眾人哪，當側耳而聽！任憑你們束起腰來，終必破壞；你們束起腰來，終必破壞。
8:10 任憑你們同謀，終歸無有；任憑你們言定，終不成立；因為 神與我們同在。
8:11 耶和華以大能的手，指教我不可行這百姓所行的道，對我這樣說：
8:12 「這百姓說同謀背叛，你們不要說同謀背叛。他們所怕的，你們不要怕，也不要畏懼。
8:13 但要尊萬軍之耶和華為聖，以他為你們所當怕的，所當畏懼的。
8:14 他必作為聖所，卻向以色列兩家作絆腳的石頭，跌人的磐石；向耶路撒冷的居民作為圈套和網羅。
8:15 許多人必在其上絆腳跌倒，而且跌碎，並陷入網羅，被纏住。」
8:16 你要捲起律法書，在我門徒中間封住訓誨。
8:17 我要等候那掩面不顧雅各家的耶和華；我也要仰望他。
8:18 看哪，我與耶和華所給我的兒女，就是從住在錫安山萬軍之耶和華來的，在以色列中作為預兆和奇蹟。
8:19 有人對你們說：「當求問那些交鬼的和行巫術的，就是聲音綿蠻，言語微細的。」你們便回答說：「百姓不當求問自己的 神嗎？豈可為活人求問死人呢？」
8:20 人當以訓誨和法度為標準；他們所說的，若不與此相符，必不得見晨光。
8:21 他們必經過這地，受艱難，受飢餓；飢餓的時候，心中焦躁，咒罵自己的君王和自己的 神。
8:22 仰觀上天，俯察下地，不料，盡是艱難、黑暗，和幽暗的痛苦。他們必被趕入烏黑的黑暗中去。
默想: 有許多以色列人總是想，上帝是我們「獨家」的幫助，是只屬於我們的上帝。外邦人是沒有福分得到我們所擁有的上帝。但是先知卻不是這樣想，上帝是信實公義的上帝，祂雖然揀選了以色列百姓作為祂的子民，但是，當以色列民不再信靠祂，而去尋求那些交鬼的和行巫術的，上帝便掩面不再看祂的子民。上帝仍然是對祂忠信之人的避難所，但是卻是以色列兩家的絆腳石、跌人的磐石。以色列人選民的身份並不是得悅納、選擇的唯一保證。上帝看重的是，這些選民是否照著上帝的話語來活。
我們信的是什麼？活出來的是什麼？這兩件事情是否一樣？當我們成為一個基督徒，重要的是我們活出來的是否與我們所相的一致？若我們活出來的與我們所信的不一致，那信有什麼意義呢？如同施洗約翰對法利賽人和賽都該人說：「毒蛇的種類！誰指示你們逃避將來的忿怒呢？你們要結出果子來，與悔改的心相稱。不要自己心裡說：有亞伯拉罕為我們的祖宗。我告訴你們，神能從這些石頭中給亞伯拉罕興起子孫來。現在斧子已經放在樹根上，凡不結好果子的樹就砍下來，丟在火裡。」求神幫助我們，結出果子來，與悔改的心相稱。

8:1 耶和華對我說：「你取一個大牌，拿人所用的筆（或譯：人常用的字），寫上『瑪黑珥•沙拉勒•哈施•罷斯』（就是擄掠速臨、搶奪快到的意思）。
Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz. Mahershalalhashbaz: Heb. In making speed to the spoil he hasteneth the prey, or, Make speed, etc
8:2 我要用誠實的見證人，祭司烏利亞和耶比利家的兒子撒迦利亞記錄這事。」
And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.
8:3 我─以賽亞與妻子（原文是女先知）同室；她懷孕生子，耶和華就對我說：「給他起名叫瑪黑珥•沙拉勒•哈施•罷斯；
And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz. went: Heb. approached
8:4 因為在這小孩子不曉得叫父叫母之先，大馬士革的財寶和撒馬利亞的擄物必在亞述王面前搬了去。」
For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria. the riches...: or, he that is before the king of Assyria shall take away the riches, etc
8:5 耶和華又曉諭我說：
The LORD spake also unto me again, saying,
8:6 「這百姓既厭棄西羅亞緩流的水，喜悅利汛和利瑪利的兒子；
Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son;
8:7 因此，主必使大河翻騰的水猛然沖來，就是亞述王和他所有的威勢，必漫過一切的水道，漲過兩岸；
Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:
8:8 必沖入猶大，漲溢氾濫，直到頸項。以馬內利啊，他展開翅膀，遍滿你的地。」
And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel. stretching...: Heb. fulness of the breadth of thy land shall be the stretchings out of his wings
8:9 列國的人民哪，任憑你們喧嚷，終必破壞；遠方的眾人哪，當側耳而聽！任憑你們束起腰來，終必破壞；你們束起腰來，終必破壞。
Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. people and: or, people, yet
8:10 任憑你們同謀，終歸無有；任憑你們言定，終不成立；因為 神與我們同在。
Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
8:11 耶和華以大能的手，指教我不可行這百姓所行的道，對我這樣說：
For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, with...: Heb. in strength of hand
8:12 「這百姓說同謀背叛，你們不要說同謀背叛。他們所怕的，你們不要怕，也不要畏懼。
Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.
8:13 但要尊萬軍之耶和華為聖，以他為你們所當怕的，所當畏懼的。
Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
8:14 他必作為聖所，卻向以色列兩家作絆腳的石頭，跌人的磐石；向耶路撒冷的居民作為圈套和網羅。
And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
8:15 許多人必在其上絆腳跌倒，而且跌碎，並陷入網羅，被纏住。」
And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
8:16 你要捲起律法書，在我門徒中間封住訓誨。
Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
8:17 我要等候那掩面不顧雅各家的耶和華；我也要仰望他。
And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.
8:18 看哪，我與耶和華所給我的兒女，就是從住在錫安山萬軍之耶和華來的，在以色列中作為預兆和奇蹟。
Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
8:19 有人對你們說：「當求問那些交鬼的和行巫術的，就是聲音綿蠻，言語微細的。」你們便回答說：「百姓不當求問自己的 神嗎？豈可為活人求問死人呢？」
And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
8:20 人當以訓誨和法度為標準；他們所說的，若不與此相符，必不得見晨光。
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. no...: Heb. no morning
8:21 他們必經過這地，受艱難，受飢餓；飢餓的時候，心中焦躁，咒罵自己的君王和自己的 神。
And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
8:22 仰觀上天，俯察下地，不料，盡是艱難、黑暗，和幽暗的痛苦。他們必被趕入烏黑的黑暗中去。
And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.
