Elisha And Shunammite Woman

經文: 列王記下 4:35-37 然後他下來，在屋裡來往走了一趟，又上去伏在孩子身上，孩子打了七個噴嚏，就睜開眼睛了。以利沙叫基哈西說：「你叫這書念婦人來」；於是叫了他來。以利沙說：「將你兒子抱起來。」婦人就進來，在以利沙腳前俯伏於地，抱起他兒子出去了。
默想: 這位書念婦女，除了盛情邀請以利沙留在家裡吃飯以外，還特別為以利沙預備一個樓上的房間，好在以利沙路過時，可以在那裡住宿。以利沙為她禱告，讓他生一個兒子。兒子有一天卻因頭痛而去世。婦女向先知以利沙訴苦抱怨。以利沙為此向耶和華祈求，並且進行口對口呼吸急救法。結果耶和華垂聽以利沙的禱告，讓書念婦女經驗了兒子從死裡復活的神蹟。這個故事與以利亞在西頓的撒勒法一位寡婦那裡的經驗有許多相似之處。從這段經文，我們發現用愛心款待神的僕人，有時也會遭遇人生的重大挫折，在挫折中才能經歷上帝更奇妙的作為與恩典。求主保守我，在服侍主的當中，如果遭遇重大的挫折，不要氣餒喪志，要更堅心倚靠耶和華，才能更深經歷上帝的恩典。
題目: 以利沙與他的師傅以利亞一樣，行了神蹟奇事，甚至更多。當他命僕人擺出20個餅給一百人吃。(v43)試問，你若是這位僕人，會相信的聽從吩咐遞出去嗎？
4:1 有一個先知門徒的妻哀求以利沙說：「你僕人─我丈夫死了，他敬畏耶和華是你所知道的。現在有債主來，要取我兩個兒子作奴僕。」
Now the wife of one of the sons of the prophets cried to Eli'sha, "Your servant my husband is dead; and you know that your servant feared the LORD, but the creditor has come to take my two children to be his slaves."
4:2 以利沙問她說：「我可以為你做甚麼呢？你告訴我，你家裡有甚麼？」她說：「婢女家中除了一瓶油之外，沒有甚麼。」
And Eli'sha said to her, "What shall I do for you? Tell me; what have you in the house?" And she said, "Your maidservant has nothing in the house, except a jar of oil."
4:3 以利沙說：「你去，向你眾鄰舍借空器皿，不要少借；
Then he said, "Go outside, borrow vessels of all your neighbors, empty vessels and not too few.
4:4 回到家裡，關上門，你和你兒子在裡面將油倒在所有的器皿裡，倒滿了的放在一邊。」
Then go in, and shut the door upon yourself and your sons, and pour into all these vessels; and when one is full, set it aside."
4:5 於是，婦人離開以利沙去了，關上門，自己和兒子在裡面；兒子把器皿拿來，她就倒油。
So she went from him and shut the door upon herself and her sons; and as she poured they brought the vessels to her.
4:6 器皿都滿了，她對兒子說：「再給我拿器皿來。」兒子說：「再沒有器皿了。」油就止住了。
When the vessels were full, she said to her son, "Bring me another vessel." And he said to her, "There is not another." Then the oil stopped flowing.
4:7 婦人去告訴神人，神人說：「你去賣油還債，所剩的你和你兒子可以靠著度日。」
She came and told the man of God, and he said, "Go, sell the oil and pay your debts, and you and your sons can live on the rest."
4:8 一日，以利沙走到書念，在那裡有一個大戶的婦人強留他吃飯。此後，以利沙每從那裡經過就進去吃飯。
One day Eli'sha went on to Shunem, where a wealthy woman lived, who urged him to eat some food. So whenever he passed that way, he would turn in there to eat food.
4:9 婦人對丈夫說：「我看出那常從我們這裡經過的是聖潔的神人。
And she said to her husband, "Behold now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God, who is continually passing our way.
4:10 我們可以為他在牆上蓋一間小樓，在其中安放床榻、桌子、椅子、燈臺，他來到我們這裡，就可以住在其間。」
Let us make a small roof chamber with walls, and put there for him a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp, so that whenever he comes to us, he can go in there."
4:11 一日，以利沙來到那裡，就進了那樓躺臥。
One day he came there, and he turned into the chamber and rested there.
4:12 以利沙吩咐僕人基哈西說：「你叫這書念婦人來。」他就把婦人叫了來，婦人站在以利沙面前。
And he said to Geha'zi his servant, "Call this Shu'nammite." When he had called her, she stood before him.
4:13 以利沙吩咐僕人說：「你對她說：你既為我們費了許多心思，可以為你做甚麼呢？你向王或元帥有所求的沒有？」她回答說：「我在我本鄉安居無事。」
And he said to him, "Say now to her, See, you have taken all this trouble for us; what is to be done for you? Would you have a word spoken on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?" She answered, "I dwell among my own people."
4:14 以利沙對僕人說：「究竟當為她做甚麼呢？」基哈西說：「她沒有兒子，她丈夫也老了。」
And he said, "What then is to be done for her?" Geha'zi answered, "Well, she has no son, and her husband is old."
4:15 以利沙說：「再叫她來。」於是叫了她來，她就站在門口。
He said, "Call her." And when he had called her, she stood in the doorway.
4:16 以利沙說：「明年到這時候，你必抱一個兒子。」她說：「神人，我主啊，不要那樣欺哄婢女。」
And he said, "At this season, when the time comes round, you shall embrace a son." And she said, "No, my lord, O man of God; do not lie to your maidservant."
4:17 婦人果然懷孕，到了那時候，生了一個兒子，正如以利沙所說的。
But the woman conceived, and she bore a son about that time the following spring, as Eli'sha had said to her.
4:18 孩子漸漸長大，一日到他父親和收割的人那裡，
When the child had grown, he went out one day to his father among the reapers.
4:19 他對父親說：「我的頭啊，我的頭啊！」他父親對僕人說：「把他抱到他母親那裡。」
And he said to his father, "Oh, my head, my head!" The father said to his servant, "Carry him to his mother."
4:20 僕人抱去，交給他母親；孩子坐在母親的膝上，到晌午就死了。
And when he had lifted him, and brought him to his mother, the child sat on her lap till noon, and then he died.
4:21 他母親抱他上了樓，將他放在神人的床上，關上門出來，
And she went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out.
4:22 呼叫她丈夫說：「你叫一個僕人給我牽一匹驢來，我要快快地去見神人，就回來。」
Then she called to her husband, and said, "Send me one of the servants and one of the asses, that I may quickly go to the man of God, and come back again."
4:23 丈夫說：「今日不是月朔，也不是安息日，你為何要去見他呢？」婦人說：「平安無事。」
And he said, "Why will you go to him today? It is neither new moon nor sabbath." She said, "It will be well."
4:24 於是備上驢，對僕人說：「你快快趕著走，我若不吩咐你，就不要遲慢。」
Then she saddled the ass, and she said to her servant, "Urge the beast on; do not slacken the pace for me unless I tell you."
4:25 婦人就往迦密山去見神人。神人遠遠地看見她，對僕人基哈西說：「看哪，書念的婦人來了！
So she set out, and came to the man of God at Mount Carmel. When the man of God saw her coming, he said to Geha'zi his servant, "Look, yonder is the Shu'nammite;
4:26 你跑去迎接她，問她說：你平安嗎？你丈夫平安嗎？孩子平安嗎？」她說：「平安。」
run at once to meet her, and say to her, Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the child?" And she answered, "It is well."
4:27 婦人上了山，到神人那裡，就抱住神人的腳。基哈西前來要推開她，神人說：「由她吧！因為她心裡愁苦，耶和華向我隱瞞，沒有指示我。」
And when she came to the mountain to the man of God, she caught hold of his feet. And Geha'zi came to thrust her away. But the man of God said, "Let her alone, for she is in bitter distress; and the LORD has hidden it from me, and has not told me."
4:28 婦人說：「我何嘗向我主求過兒子呢？我豈沒有說過，不要欺哄我嗎？」
Then she said, "Did I ask my lord for a son? Did I not say, Do not deceive me?"
4:29 以利沙吩咐基哈西說：「你束上腰，手拿我的杖前去；若遇見人，不要向他問安；人若向你問安，也不要回答；要把我的杖放在孩子臉上。」
He said to Geha'zi, "Gird up your loins, and take my staff in your hand, and go. If you meet any one, do not salute him; and if any one salutes you, do not reply; and lay my staff upon the face of the child."
4:30 孩子的母親說：「我指著永生的耶和華，又敢在你面前起誓，我必不離開你。」於是以利沙起身，隨著她去了。
Then the mother of the child said, "As the LORD lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you." So he arose and followed her.
4:31 基哈西先去，把杖放在孩子臉上，卻沒有聲音，也沒有動靜。基哈西就迎著以利沙回來，告訴他說：「孩子還沒有醒過來。」
Geha'zi went on ahead and laid the staff upon the face of the child, but there was no sound or sign of life. Therefore he returned to meet him, and told him, "The child has not awaked."
4:32 以利沙來到，進了屋子，看見孩子死了，放在自己的床上。
When Eli'sha came into the house, he saw the child lying dead on his bed.
4:33 他就關上門，只有自己和孩子在裡面，他便祈禱耶和華，
So he went in and shut the door upon the two of them, and prayed to the LORD.
4:34 上床伏在孩子身上，口對口，眼對眼，手對手；既伏在孩子身上，孩子的身體就漸漸溫和了。
Then he went up and lay upon the child, putting his mouth upon his mouth, his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands; and as he stretched himself upon him, the flesh of the child became warm.
4:35 然後他下來，在屋裡來往走了一趟，又上去伏在孩子身上，孩子打了七個噴嚏，就睜開眼睛了。
Then he got up again, and walked once to and fro in the house, and went up, and stretched himself upon him; the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.
4:36 以利沙叫基哈西說：「你叫這書念婦人來」；於是叫了她來。以利沙說：「將你兒子抱起來。」
Then he summoned Geha'zi and said, "Call this Shu'nammite." So he called her. And when she came to him, he said, "Take up your son."
4:37 婦人就進來，在以利沙腳前俯伏於地，抱起她兒子出去了。
She came and fell at his feet, bowing to the ground; then she took up her son and went out.
4:38 以利沙又來到吉甲，那地正有饑荒。先知門徒坐在他面前，他吩咐僕人說：「你將大鍋放在火上，給先知門徒熬湯。」
And Eli'sha came again to Gilgal when there was a famine in the land. And as the sons of the prophets were sitting before him, he said to his servant, "Set on the great pot, and boil pottage for the sons of the prophets."
4:39 有一個人去到田野掐菜，遇見一棵野瓜籐，就摘了一兜野瓜回來，切了擱在熬湯的鍋中，因為他們不知道是甚麼東西；
One of them went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine and gathered from it his lap full of wild gourds, and came and cut them up into the pot of pottage, not knowing what they were.
4:40 倒出來給眾人吃，吃的時候，都喊叫說：「神人哪，鍋中有致死的毒物！」所以眾人不能吃了。
And they poured out for the men to eat. But while they were eating of the pottage, they cried out, "O man of God, there is death in the pot!" And they could not eat it.
4:41 以利沙說：「拿點麵來」，就把麵撒在鍋中，說：「倒出來，給眾人吃吧！」鍋中就沒有毒了。
He said, "Then bring meal." And he threw it into the pot, and said, "Pour out for the men, that they may eat." And there was no harm in the pot.
4:42 有一個人從巴力•沙利沙來，帶著初熟大麥做的餅二十個，並新穗子，裝在口袋裡送給神人。神人說：「把這些給眾人吃。」
A man came from Ba'al-shal'ishah, bringing the man of God bread of the first fruits, twenty loaves of barley, and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And Eli'sha said, "Give to the men, that they may eat."
4:43 僕人說：「這一點豈可擺給一百人吃呢？」以利沙說：「你只管給眾人吃吧！因為耶和華如此說，眾人必吃了，還剩下。」
But his servant said, "How am I to set this before a hundred men?" So he repeated, "Give them to the men, that they may eat, for thus says the LORD, `They shall eat and have some left.'"
4:44 僕人就擺在眾人面前，他們吃了，果然還剩下，正如耶和華所說的。
So he set it before them. And they ate, and had some left, according to the word of the LORD.
