經文: 列王記上 16:1-3 耶和華的話臨到哈拿尼的兒子耶戶，責備巴沙說：「我既從塵埃中提拔你，立你作我民以色列的君，你竟行耶羅波安所行的道，使我民以色列陷在罪裡，惹我發怒，我必除盡你和你的家，使你的家像尼八的兒子耶羅波安的家一樣。凡屬巴沙的人，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在田野的必被空中的鳥吃。
默想: 當大衛王犯罪時，耶和華命令先知拿單前去指責大衛王 (撒下12:7)，大衛王立刻在先知拿單面前認罪，並祈求耶和華的饒恕與赦免。但是，在耶羅波安與巴沙的身上，我們所看到的是，當他們犯罪時，耶和華也一樣差遣先知前往指責他們。但是，很遺憾的是，我們看不到他們向耶和華認罪，尋求耶和華的饒恕與赦免，他們卻是偏行己路，一直到耶和華在他們的家族身上，完成了公義的審判。求主幫助我，能夠學習大衛王的榜樣。當上帝差遣僕人前來，指出我的錯誤時，求主幫助我，有謙卑受教的心，願意即時認罪悔改，好得到耶和華的饒恕與赦免。
題目: 巴沙王登基後，殺了耶羅波安全家；……心利篡位，殺了巴沙全家……，如此歷史重演，帶給你什麼樣的警誡？
16:1 耶和華的話臨到哈拿尼的兒子耶戶，責備巴沙說：
And the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hana'ni against Ba'asha, saying,
16:2 「我既從塵埃中提拔你，立你作我民以色列的君，你竟行耶羅波安所行的道，使我民以色列陷在罪裡，惹我發怒，
"Since I exalted you out of the dust and made you leader over my people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jerobo'am, and have made my people Israel to sin, provoking me to anger with their sins,
16:3 我必除盡你和你的家，使你的家像尼八的兒子耶羅波安的家一樣。
behold, I will utterly sweep away Ba'asha and his house, and I will make your house like the house of Jerobo'am the son of Nebat.
16:4 凡屬巴沙的人，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在田野的必被空中的鳥吃。」
Any one belonging to Ba'asha who dies in the city the dogs shall eat; and any one of his who dies in the field the birds of the air shall eat."
16:5 巴沙其餘的事，凡他所行的和他的勇力，都寫在以色列諸王記上。
Now the rest of the acts of Ba'asha, and what he did, and his might, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
16:6 巴沙與他列祖同睡，葬在得撒。他兒子以拉接續他作王。
And Ba'asha slept with his fathers, and was buried at Tirzah; and Elah his son reigned in his stead.
16:7 耶和華的話臨到哈拿尼的兒子先知耶戶，責備巴沙和他的家，因他行耶和華眼中看為惡的一切事，以他手所做的惹耶和華發怒，像耶羅波安的家一樣，又因他殺了耶羅波安的全家。
Moreover the word of the LORD came by the prophet Jehu the son of Hana'ni against Ba'asha and his house, both because of all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jerobo'am, and also because he destroyed it.
16:8 猶大王亞撒二十六年，巴沙的兒子以拉在得撒登基作以色列王共二年。
In the twenty-sixth year of Asa king of Judah, Elah the son of Ba'asha began to reign over Israel in Tirzah, and reigned two years.
16:9 有管理他一半戰車的臣子心利背叛他。當他在得撒家宰亞雜家裡喝醉的時候，
But his servant Zimri, commander of half his chariots, conspired against him. When he was at Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza, who was over the household in Tirzah,
16:10 心利就進去殺了他，篡了他的位。這是猶大王亞撒二十七年的事。
Zimri came in and struck him down and killed him, in the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his stead.
16:11 心利一坐王位就殺了巴沙的全家，連他的親屬、朋友也沒有留下一個男丁。
When he began to reign, as soon as he had seated himself on his throne, he killed all the house of Ba'asha; he did not leave him a single male of his kinsmen or his friends.
16:12 心利這樣滅絕巴沙的全家，正如耶和華藉先知耶戶責備巴沙的話。
Thus Zimri destroyed all the house of Ba'asha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke against Ba'asha by Jehu the prophet,
16:13 這是因巴沙和他兒子以拉的一切罪，就是他們使以色列人陷在罪裡的那罪，以虛無的神惹耶和華─以色列 神的怒氣。
for all the sins of Ba'asha and the sins of Elah his son which they sinned, and which they made Israel to sin, provoking the LORD God of Israel to anger with their idols.
16:14 以拉其餘的事，凡他所行的，都寫在以色列諸王記上。
Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
16:15 猶大王亞撒二十七年，心利在得撒作王七日。那時民正安營圍攻非利士的基比頓。
In the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah, Zimri reigned seven days in Tirzah. Now the troops were encamped against Gib'bethon, which belonged to the Philistines,
16:16 民在營中聽說心利背叛，又殺了王，故此以色列眾人當日在營中立元帥暗利作以色列王。
and the troops who were encamped heard it said, "Zimri has conspired, and he has killed the king"; therefore all Israel made Omri, the commander of the army, king over Israel that day in the camp.
16:17 暗利率領以色列眾人，從基比頓上去，圍困得撒。
So Omri went up from Gib'bethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.
16:18 心利見城破失，就進了王宮的衛所，放火焚燒宮殿，自焚而死。
And when Zimri saw that the city was taken, he went into the citadel of the king's house, and burned the king's house over him with fire, and died,
16:19 這是因他犯罪，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，行耶羅波安所行的，犯他使以色列人陷在罪裡的那罪。
because of his sins which he committed, doing evil in the sight of the LORD, walking in the way of Jerobo'am, and for his sin which he committed, making Israel to sin.
16:20 心利其餘的事和他背叛的情形都寫在以色列諸王記上。
Now the rest of the acts of Zimri, and the conspiracy which he made, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
16:21 那時，以色列民分為兩半：一半隨從基納的兒子提比尼，要立他作王；一半隨從暗利。
Then the people of Israel were divided into two parts; half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king, and half followed Omri.
16:22 但隨從暗利的民勝過隨從基納的兒子提比尼的民。提比尼死了，暗利就作了王。
But the people who followed Omri overcame the people who followed Tibni the son of Ginath; so Tibni died, and Omri became king.
16:23 猶大王亞撒三十一年，暗利登基作以色列王共十二年；在得撒作王六年。
In the thirty-first year of Asa king of Judah, Omri began to reign over Israel, and reigned for twelve years; six years he reigned in Tirzah.
16:24 暗利用二他連得銀子向撒瑪買了撒馬利亞山，在山上造城，就按著山的原主撒瑪的名，給所造的城起名叫撒馬利亞。
He bought the hill of Sama'ria from Shemer for two talents of silver; and he fortified the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, Sama'ria, after the name of Shemer, the owner of the hill.
16:25 暗利行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，比他以前的列王作惡更甚。
Omri did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, and did more evil than all who were before him.
16:26 因他行了尼八的兒子耶羅波安所行的，犯他使以色列人陷在罪裡的那罪，以虛無的神惹耶和華─以色列 神的怒氣。
For he walked in all the way of Jerobo'am the son of Nebat, and in the sins which he made Israel to sin, provoking the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger by their idols.
16:27 暗利其餘的事和他所顯出的勇力都寫在以色列諸王記上。
Now the rest of the acts of Omri which he did, and the might that he showed, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
16:28 暗利與他列祖同睡，葬在撒馬利亞。他兒子亞哈接續他作王。
And Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Sama'ria; and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.
16:29 猶大王亞撒三十八年，暗利的兒子亞哈登基作了以色列王。暗利的兒子亞哈在撒馬利亞作以色列王二十二年。
In the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah, Ahab the son of Omri began to reign over Israel, and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Sama'ria twenty-two years.
16:30 暗利的兒子亞哈行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，比他以前的列王更甚，
And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD more than all that were before him.
16:31 犯了尼八的兒子耶羅波安所犯的罪；他還以為輕，又娶了西頓王謁巴力的女兒耶洗別為妻，去事奉敬拜巴力，
And as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jerobo'am the son of Nebat, he took for wife Jez'ebel the daughter of Ethba'al king of the Sido'nians, and went and served Ba'al, and worshiped him.
16:32 在撒馬利亞建造巴力的廟，在廟裡為巴力築壇。
He erected an altar for Ba'al in the house of Ba'al, which he built in Sama'ria.
16:33 亞哈又做亞舍拉，他所行的惹耶和華─以色列 神的怒氣，比他以前的以色列諸王更甚。
And Ahab made an Ashe'rah. Ahab did more to provoke the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger than all the kings of Israel who were before him.
16:34 亞哈在位的時候，有伯特利人希伊勒重修耶利哥城；立根基的時候，喪了長子亞比蘭；安門的時候，喪了幼子西割，正如耶和華藉嫩的兒子約書亞所說的話。
In his days Hi'el of Bethel built Jericho; he laid its foundation at the cost of Abi'ram his first-born, and set up its gates at the cost of his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke by Joshua the son of Nun.
And the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hana'ni against Ba'asha, saying,
