King David Prayed

經文: 撒母耳記下 7:12-16 你壽數滿足、與你列祖同睡的時候，我必使你的後裔接續你的位；我也必堅定他的國。他必為我的名建造殿宇；我必堅定他的國位，直到永遠。我要作他的父，他要作我的子；他若犯了罪，我必用人的杖責打他，用人的鞭責罰他。但我的慈愛仍不離開他，像離開在你面前所廢棄的掃羅一樣。你的家和你的國必在我（原文作你）面前永遠堅立。你的國位也必堅定，直到永遠。』」
默想: 在這段經文當中，耶和華給予大衛王一個很特別的應許。這個特別的應許，包括兩個應驗。其中第一個應驗是發生在大衛王的兒子所羅門王的身上。所羅門王蒙到耶和華特別的祝福，國勢強盛，為耶和華完成建造聖殿的工程。但是很可惜的是，所羅門王年老時，卻受他的妃嬪影響，離棄耶和華，去敬拜侍奉外邦的許多神明，因此，所羅門王被耶和華厭棄，在所羅門王去世之後，耶和華就讓以色列國分裂成為南北兩國，而且兩國最後都前後被亞述帝國與巴比倫帝國所滅亡。在以色列南北兩國都被滅亡之後，以色列人對於耶和華向大衛王所給予的這個應許，逐漸的轉為彌賽亞的盼望。以色列人盼望，耶和華將來會從大衛的子孫當中，興起一位彌賽亞，他將被稱為上帝的兒子，他將為耶和華建造聖殿，他的國位將存到永遠。這個應許後來就應驗在主耶穌的身上。主耶穌降生時，常常被稱為大衛的子孫，也被門徒稱為永生上帝的兒子。主耶穌在地上建立了教會，成為永生神的聖殿。主耶穌要在地上建立屬神的國度，而且這個國度將存到永遠。感謝上帝的恩典，讓我有機會接受主耶穌的救贖，得以參與被建造成為神的殿，並且得以歸屬於屬神的國度。
題目: 大衛的禱告內容：感激(V19)、讚美(V22)、記念(V23)、祈求(V25、29)。試想，我們的禱告是否常是先祈求，並有得著時才感謝呢？
7:1 王住在自己宮中，耶和華使他安靖，不被四圍的仇敵擾亂。
Now when the king dwelt in his house, and the LORD had given him rest from all his enemies round about,
7:2 那時，王對先知拿單說：「看哪，我住在香柏木的宮中， 神的約櫃反在幔子裡。」
the king said to Nathan the prophet, "See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells in a tent."
7:3 拿單對王說：「你可以照你的心意而行，因為耶和華與你同在。」
And Nathan said to the king, "Go, do all that is in your heart; for the LORD is with you."
7:4 當夜，耶和華的話臨到拿單說：
But that same night the word of the LORD came to Nathan,
7:5 「你去告訴我僕人大衛，說耶和華如此說：『你豈可建造殿宇給我居住呢？
"Go and tell my servant David, `Thus says the LORD: Would you build me a house to dwell in?
7:6 自從我領以色列人出埃及直到今日，我未曾住過殿宇，常在會幕和帳幕中行走。
I have not dwelt in a house since the day I brought up the people of Israel from Egypt to this day, but I have been moving about in a tent for my dwelling.
7:7 凡我同以色列人所走的地方，我何曾向以色列一支派的士師，就是我吩咐牧養我民以色列的說：你們為何不給我建造香柏木的殿宇呢？』
In all places where I have moved with all the people of Israel, did I speak a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd my people Israel, saying, "Why have you not built me a house of cedar?"'
7:8 「現在，你要告訴我僕人大衛，說萬軍之耶和華如此說：『我從羊圈中將你召來，叫你不再跟從羊群，立你作我民以色列的君。
Now therefore thus you shall say to my servant David, `Thus says the LORD of hosts, I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, that you should be prince over my people Israel;
7:9 你無論往哪裡去，我常與你同在，剪除你的一切仇敵。我必使你得大名，好像世上大大有名的人一樣。
and I have been with you wherever you went, and have cut off all your enemies from before you; and I will make for you a great name, like the name of the great ones of the earth.
7:10 我必為我民以色列選定一個地方，栽培他們，使他們住自己的地方，不再遷移；凶惡之子也不像從前擾害他們，
And I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be disturbed no more; and violent men shall afflict them no more, as formerly,
7:11 並不像我命士師治理我民以色列的時候一樣。我必使你安靖，不被一切仇敵擾亂，並且我─耶和華應許你，必為你建立家室。
from the time that I appointed judges over my people Israel; and I will give you rest from all your enemies. Moreover the LORD declares to you that the LORD will make you a house.
7:12 你壽數滿足、與你列祖同睡的時候，我必使你的後裔接續你的位；我也必堅定他的國。
When your days are fulfilled and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come forth from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.
7:13 他必為我的名建造殿宇；我必堅定他的國位，直到永遠。
He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
7:14 我要作他的父，他要作我的子；他若犯了罪，我必用人的杖責打他，用人的鞭責罰他。
I will be his father, and he shall be my son. When he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, with the stripes of the sons of men;
7:15 但我的慈愛仍不離開他，像離開在你面前所廢棄的掃羅一樣。
but I will not take my steadfast love from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away from before you.
7:16 你的家和你的國必在我（原文是你）面前永遠堅立。你的國位也必堅定，直到永遠。』」
And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure for ever before me; your throne shall be established for ever.'"
7:17 拿單就按這一切話，照這默示，告訴大衛。
In accordance with all these words, and in accordance with all this vision, Nathan spoke to David.
7:18 於是大衛王進去，坐在耶和華面前，說：「主耶和華啊，我是誰？我的家算甚麼？你竟使我到這地步呢？
Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and said, "Who am I, O Lord GOD, and what is my house, that thou hast brought me thus far?
7:19 主耶和華啊，這在你眼中還看為小，又應許你僕人的家至於久遠。主耶和華啊，這豈是人所常遇的事嗎？
And yet this was a small thing in thy eyes, O Lord GOD; thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a great while to come, and hast shown me future generations, O Lord GOD!
7:20 主耶和華啊，我還有何言可以對你說呢？因為你知道你的僕人。
And what more can David say to thee? For thou knowest thy servant, O Lord GOD!
7:21 你行這大事使僕人知道，是因你所應許的話，也是照你的心意。
Because of thy promise, and according to thy own heart, thou hast wrought all this greatness, to make thy servant know it.
7:22 主耶和華啊，你本為大，照我們耳中聽見，沒有可比你的；除你以外再無 神。
Therefore thou art great, O LORD God; for there is none like thee, and there is no God besides thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
7:23 世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢？你從埃及救贖他們作自己的子民，又在你贖出來的民面前行大而可畏的事，驅逐列邦人和他們的 神，顯出你的大名。
What other nation on earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his people, making himself a name, and doing for them great and terrible things, by driving out before his people a nation and its gods?
7:24 你曾堅立你的民以色列作你的子民，直到永遠；你─耶和華也作了他們的 神。
And thou didst establish for thyself thy people Israel to be thy people for ever; and thou, O LORD, didst become their God.
7:25 耶和華 神啊，你所應許僕人和僕人家的話，求你堅定，直到永遠；照你所說的而行。
And now, O LORD God, confirm for ever the word which thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house, and do as thou hast spoken;
7:26 願人永遠尊你的名為大，說：『萬軍之耶和華是治理以色列的 神。』這樣，你僕人大衛的家必在你面前堅立。
and thy name will be magnified for ever, saying, `The LORD of hosts is God over Israel,' and the house of thy servant David will be established before thee.
7:27 萬軍之耶和華─以色列的 神啊，因你啟示你的僕人說：『我必為你建立家室』，所以僕人大膽向你如此祈禱。
For thou, O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, hast made this revelation to thy servant, saying, `I will build you a house'; therefore thy servant has found courage to pray this prayer to thee.
7:28 主耶和華啊，惟有你是 神。你的話是真實的；你也應許將這福氣賜給僕人。
And now, O Lord GOD, thou art God, and thy words are true, and thou hast promised this good thing to thy servant;
7:29 現在求你賜福與僕人的家，可以永存在你面前。主耶和華啊，這是你所應許的。願你永遠賜福與僕人的家！」
now therefore may it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee; for thou, O Lord GOD, hast spoken, and with thy blessing shall the house of thy servant be blessed for ever."
Now when the king dwelt in his house, and the LORD had given him rest from all his enemies round about,
7:2 那時，王對先知拿單說：「看哪，我住在香柏木的宮中， 神的約櫃反在幔子裡。」
the king said to Nathan the prophet, "See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells in a tent."
7:3 拿單對王說：「你可以照你的心意而行，因為耶和華與你同在。」
And Nathan said to the king, "Go, do all that is in your heart; for the LORD is with you."
7:4 當夜，耶和華的話臨到拿單說：
But that same night the word of the LORD came to Nathan,
7:5 「你去告訴我僕人大衛，說耶和華如此說：『你豈可建造殿宇給我居住呢？
"Go and tell my servant David, `Thus says the LORD: Would you build me a house to dwell in?
7:6 自從我領以色列人出埃及直到今日，我未曾住過殿宇，常在會幕和帳幕中行走。
I have not dwelt in a house since the day I brought up the people of Israel from Egypt to this day, but I have been moving about in a tent for my dwelling.
7:7 凡我同以色列人所走的地方，我何曾向以色列一支派的士師，就是我吩咐牧養我民以色列的說：你們為何不給我建造香柏木的殿宇呢？』
In all places where I have moved with all the people of Israel, did I speak a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd my people Israel, saying, "Why have you not built me a house of cedar?"'
7:8 「現在，你要告訴我僕人大衛，說萬軍之耶和華如此說：『我從羊圈中將你召來，叫你不再跟從羊群，立你作我民以色列的君。
Now therefore thus you shall say to my servant David, `Thus says the LORD of hosts, I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, that you should be prince over my people Israel;
7:9 你無論往哪裡去，我常與你同在，剪除你的一切仇敵。我必使你得大名，好像世上大大有名的人一樣。
and I have been with you wherever you went, and have cut off all your enemies from before you; and I will make for you a great name, like the name of the great ones of the earth.
7:10 我必為我民以色列選定一個地方，栽培他們，使他們住自己的地方，不再遷移；凶惡之子也不像從前擾害他們，
And I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be disturbed no more; and violent men shall afflict them no more, as formerly,
7:11 並不像我命士師治理我民以色列的時候一樣。我必使你安靖，不被一切仇敵擾亂，並且我─耶和華應許你，必為你建立家室。
from the time that I appointed judges over my people Israel; and I will give you rest from all your enemies. Moreover the LORD declares to you that the LORD will make you a house.
7:12 你壽數滿足、與你列祖同睡的時候，我必使你的後裔接續你的位；我也必堅定他的國。
When your days are fulfilled and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come forth from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.
7:13 他必為我的名建造殿宇；我必堅定他的國位，直到永遠。
He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
7:14 我要作他的父，他要作我的子；他若犯了罪，我必用人的杖責打他，用人的鞭責罰他。
I will be his father, and he shall be my son. When he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, with the stripes of the sons of men;

And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure for ever before me; your throne shall be established for ever.'"
7:17 拿單就按這一切話，照這默示，告訴大衛。
In accordance with all these words, and in accordance with all this vision, Nathan spoke to David.
7:18 於是大衛王進去，坐在耶和華面前，說：「主耶和華啊，我是誰？我的家算甚麼？你竟使我到這地步呢？
Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and said, "Who am I, O Lord GOD, and what is my house, that thou hast brought me thus far?
7:19 主耶和華啊，這在你眼中還看為小，又應許你僕人的家至於久遠。主耶和華啊，這豈是人所常遇的事嗎？
And yet this was a small thing in thy eyes, O Lord GOD; thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a great while to come, and hast shown me future generations, O Lord GOD!
7:20 主耶和華啊，我還有何言可以對你說呢？因為你知道你的僕人。
And what more can David say to thee? For thou knowest thy servant, O Lord GOD!
7:21 你行這大事使僕人知道，是因你所應許的話，也是照你的心意。
Because of thy promise, and according to thy own heart, thou hast wrought all this greatness, to make thy servant know it.
7:22 主耶和華啊，你本為大，照我們耳中聽見，沒有可比你的；除你以外再無 神。
Therefore thou art great, O LORD God; for there is none like thee, and there is no God besides thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
7:23 世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢？你從埃及救贖他們作自己的子民，又在你贖出來的民面前行大而可畏的事，驅逐列邦人和他們的 神，顯出你的大名。
What other nation on earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his people, making himself a name, and doing for them great and terrible things, by driving out before his people a nation and its gods?
7:24 你曾堅立你的民以色列作你的子民，直到永遠；你─耶和華也作了他們的 神。
And thou didst establish for thyself thy people Israel to be thy people for ever; and thou, O LORD, didst become their God.
7:25 耶和華 神啊，你所應許僕人和僕人家的話，求你堅定，直到永遠；照你所說的而行。
And now, O LORD God, confirm for ever the word which thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house, and do as thou hast spoken;
7:26 願人永遠尊你的名為大，說：『萬軍之耶和華是治理以色列的 神。』這樣，你僕人大衛的家必在你面前堅立。
and thy name will be magnified for ever, saying, `The LORD of hosts is God over Israel,' and the house of thy servant David will be established before thee.
7:27 萬軍之耶和華─以色列的 神啊，因你啟示你的僕人說：『我必為你建立家室』，所以僕人大膽向你如此祈禱。
For thou, O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, hast made this revelation to thy servant, saying, `I will build you a house'; therefore thy servant has found courage to pray this prayer to thee.
7:28 主耶和華啊，惟有你是 神。你的話是真實的；你也應許將這福氣賜給僕人。
And now, O Lord GOD, thou art God, and thy words are true, and thou hast promised this good thing to thy servant;
7:29 現在求你賜福與僕人的家，可以永存在你面前。主耶和華啊，這是你所應許的。願你永遠賜福與僕人的家！」
now therefore may it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee; for thou, O Lord GOD, hast spoken, and with thy blessing shall the house of thy servant be blessed for ever."

約翰福音 15:7 你們若常在我裡面，我的話也常在你們裡面，凡你們所願意的，祈求，就給你們成就。
回覆刪除我們都知道：大衛是一個會禱告的人。在他的一生中間，他多多的禱告，並且得了許多的答應。到底他「禱告的秘訣」在甚麼地方呢？從大衛的祈禱中看出他屬靈的深度，他的禱告是：
1) 謙卑的（18節），這是大衛及以色列值得驕傲的時候，但只有感恩的謙卑，而不是誇耀的傲慢，才是正確的回應。大衛的興起不是因為他的才幹，乃是上帝的美意。
2) 對神有深度的認識（19～22），衷心對神崇敬及欽佩。有多少人能欣賞神的大作為而獻上感恩（19節）和讚美（22節）？因上帝的恩惠而感激（19節）。上帝不但將大衛帶到成功的尖峰，也為將來賜給他堅定的應許。不必再恐懼明天會有不能豫計的災禍，因為上帝已宣佈祂將來的旨意。反過來，我們可以思考古希臘思想和神話中的報應概念；對希臘人來說，今天的所有繁榮時常引致明天的災禍──成功會帶來驕傲，傲慢會帶來報復。但大衛得到保證，上帝的計畫對他沒有任何的變更。
3) 坦白的（23～24節），他不居功、自傲，卻承認神行了大而可畏的事；
4) 具膽量的（27節），他有極大的信心按神的啟示及應許，發出信心的禱告：
a. 求神永遠堅立祂的應許（25節）；
b. 願人永遠尊神的名為大（26節）；
c. 他的家得永存，亦永蒙恩福（29節）。
大衛曾經歷神所給予他的慈愛，故此他按神的心意禱告，不懼怕亦不疑惑。
我們可以看見，大衛的禱告和我們的禱告相當不同。如果我們今天有難處到神的面前禱告，我們一定要說：「神阿！我現在有難處，求你憐憫我，叫這難處離開我。」但是大衛不是這樣。當時大衛的難處很大，仇敵在那裏要吞吃他，要吃他的肉。但是當大衛到神面前的時候，他第一個感覺是第18-20節所說：「主耶和華啊，我是誰？我的家算什麼？你竟使我到這地步呢？。主耶和華啊，這在你眼中還看為小，又應許你僕人的家至於久遠。主耶和華啊，這豈是人所常遇的事嗎？主耶和華啊，我還有何言可以對你說呢？因為你知道你的僕人。」大衛到神面前的時候，因為他與神有交通，曉得神的心，所以他謙卑地承認他是神的僕人， 看重神的應許絕不落空，認識神的大能，憑信心來到神面前禱告。。
求主幫助我們， 學習像大衛一樣與神有密切的關係，嘗到這位又真又活的神所賜下的大恩惠的滋味，自然地，以謙卑的態度來到神的面前，發出信心的禱告，安靜的，與神密切的相交，將心事向神傾吐。。大衛的禱告從感謝與讚美開始；讚美則是歌頌主一切奇妙的作為，將焦點放在主身上，讓我們認識主的大能。求主幫助我們，常常住在主裏面，一生一世住在耶和華的殿中，瞻仰他的榮美，在他的殿裡求問復活大能的主。主耶穌在約翰福音第十五章七節告訴我們：「你們若常在我裏面，我的話也常在你們裏面，凡你們所願意的，祈求就給你們成就。」我們看見，大衛這一個人在神面前就是這樣的光景。我們如果要曉得怎樣禱告，盼望我們的禱告能得著答應，如果這樣的話，我們無論求甚麼，主就給我們成就。
