經文: 哥林多後書 3:2-3 你們就是我們的薦信，寫在我們的心裡，被眾人所知道所念誦的。你們明顯是基督的信，藉著我們修成的。不是用墨寫的，乃是用永生神的靈寫的；不是寫在石版上，乃是寫在心版上。
默想: 保羅說，我們是基督的信，是神的靈把基督的愛，藉著神僕人的愛心，寫在我們的心版上，而且會彰顯在我們的日常生活當中，可以讓眾人所唸誦的。求主幫助我，願意接受你的靈將神的愛澆灌在我的心裡，也能夠將這樣的愛，活在日常生活當中，好讓我的一生，成為基督美好的見證。
題目: 摩西在西奈山上因耶和華的話面上榮光(參出34:29)。試想，我們每一天的生活，是否也在我們的生命中反映出上主的榮光、形像？(18節)
3:1 我們豈是又舉薦自己嗎？豈像別人用人的薦信給你們或用你們的薦信給人嗎？
Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you, or from you?
3:2 你們就是我們的薦信，寫在我們的心裡，被眾人所知道所念誦的。
You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on your hearts, to be known and read by all men;
3:3 你們明顯是基督的信，藉著我們修成的。不是用墨寫的，乃是用永生 神的靈寫的；不是寫在石版上，乃是寫在心版上。
and you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
3:4 我們因基督，所以在 神面前才有這樣的信心。
Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God.
3:5 並不是我們憑自己能承擔甚麼事；我們所能承擔的，乃是出於 神。
Not that we are competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our competence is from God,
3:6 他叫我們能承當這新約的執事，不是憑著字句，乃是憑著精意；因為那字句是叫人死，精意（或作：聖靈）是叫人活。
who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not in a written code but in the Spirit; for the written code kills, but the Spirit gives life.
3:7 那用字刻在石頭上屬死的職事尚且有榮光，甚至以色列人因摩西面上的榮光，不能定睛看他的臉；這榮光原是漸漸退去的，
Now if the dispensation of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such splendor that the Israelites could not look at Moses' face because of its brightness, fading as this was,
3:8 何況那屬靈的職事豈不更有榮光嗎？
will not the dispensation of the Spirit be attended with greater splendor?
3:9 若是定罪的職事有榮光，那稱義的職事榮光就越發大了。
For if there was splendor in the dispensation of condemnation, the dispensation of righteousness must far exceed it in splendor.
3:10 那從前有榮光的，因這極大的榮光就算不得有榮光了；
Indeed, in this case, what once had splendor has come to have no splendor at all, because of the splendor that surpasses it.
3:11 若那廢掉的有榮光，這長存的就更有榮光了。
For if what faded away came with splendor, what is permanent must have much more splendor.
3:12 我們既有這樣的盼望，就大膽講說，
Since we have such a hope, we are very bold,
3:13 不像摩西將帕子蒙在臉上，叫以色列人不能定睛看到那將廢者的結局。
not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not see the end of the fading splendor.
3:14 但他們的心地剛硬，直到今日誦讀舊約的時候，這帕子還沒有揭去。這帕子在基督裡已經廢去了。
But their minds were hardened; for to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away.
3:15 然而直到今日，每逢誦讀摩西書的時候，帕子還在他們心上。
Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their minds;
3:16 但他們的心幾時歸向主，帕子就幾時除去了。
but when a man turns to the Lord the veil is removed.
3:17 主就是那靈；主的靈在那裡，那裡就得以自由。
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
3:18 我們眾人既然敞著臉得以看見主的榮光，好像從鏡子裡返照，就變成主的形狀，榮上加榮，如同從主的靈變成的。
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

「我們眾人既然敞著臉得以看見主的榮光，好像從鏡子裡反照，就變成主的形狀，榮上加榮，如同從主的靈變成的」。（林後 3:18節）;「因為世人都犯了罪，虧缺了神的榮耀 （for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,）」(羅馬書 3:23); 「你們互相受榮耀，卻不求從獨一之神來的榮耀，怎能信我呢」？(約翰福音 5:44).
回覆刪除這三處的經文中，所提到的「榮耀」，原文（δόξα dóxa），都是指神的榮耀（the glory of God）。這常常指當主耶穌用寶學救贖我們後，我們的改變，不是來誇耀自己的成就，乃是要榮耀神的名。我們內心所想的，我們日常的作為，是否仍與以前的老我一樣？有主新生的樣式，復活的生命， 以生活見證來「榮耀」神！
「我們眾人既然敞著臉 （揭去帕子）……」證明我們沒有帕子蒙在臉上，我們用不著怕見主的「榮光」（δόξα dóxa）。在舊約的時候，只有摩西一個人可以敞著臉去見神，以色列人不但不敢敞著臉見神，甚至見摩西也不敢；但是今天在基督裡的任何人，可以敞著臉到神面前。我們雖不是看見那眼睛能見的榮光，卻看見主救贖的奇妙作為，主本身的聖潔和美好。我們常到神的面前接受祂的光照，就像人常從鏡子裡看見自己有需要修飾的地方那樣，叫我們的靈性生命漸漸變成主那樣榮美的形狀。
