經文: 馬太福音 1:23 說：「必有童女懷孕生子；人要稱他的名為以馬內利。」（以馬內利繙出來就是「神與我們同在」。）
默想: 以馬內利就是神與我們同在。這是上帝對我們的最大恩典。所有其他的恩典都是上帝把他所創造的賞賜給我們，只有以馬內利是上帝將自己賞賜給我們。在主耶穌降生為人時，以馬內利就初步的實現了。到了啟示錄21章時，新耶路撒冷從天而降，在這新天新地當中，有大聲音從寶座發出，說，看哪，神的帳幕在人間。他要與人同住，他們要作他的子民。神要親自與他們同在，作他們的神。感謝上帝的恩典。
題目: 在耶穌家譜中記載了哪幾位婦女？各有何特色與故事？你認為作者為何如此記載？
1:1 亞伯拉罕的後裔，大衛的子孫（後裔子孫原文都作兒子下同），耶穌基督的家譜：
The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
1:2 亞伯拉罕生以撒；以撒生雅各；雅各生猶大和他的弟兄；
Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,
1:3 猶大從她瑪氏生法勒斯和謝拉；法勒斯生希斯崙；希斯崙生亞蘭；
and Judah the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram,
1:4 亞蘭生亞米拿達；亞米拿達生拿順；拿順生撒門；
and Ram the father of Ammin'adab, and Ammin'adab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon,
1:5 撒門從喇合氏生波阿斯；波阿斯從路得氏生俄備得；俄備得生耶西；
and Salmon the father of Bo'az by Rahab, and Bo'az the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse,
1:6 耶西生大衛王。大衛從烏利亞的妻子生所羅門；
and Jesse the father of David the king. And David was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uri'ah,
1:7 所羅門生羅波安；羅波安生亞比雅；亞比雅生亞撒；
and Solomon the father of Rehobo'am, and Rehobo'am the father of Abi'jah, and Abi'jah the father of Asa,
1:8 亞撒生約沙法；約沙法生約蘭；約蘭生烏西亞；
and Asa the father of Jehosh'aphat, and Jehosh'aphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzzi'ah,
1:9 烏西亞生約坦；約坦生亞哈斯；亞哈斯生希西家；
and Uzzi'ah the father of Jotham, and Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezeki'ah,
1:10 希西家生瑪拿西；瑪拿西生亞們；亞們生約西亞；
and Hezeki'ah the father of Manas'seh, and Manas'seh the father of Amos, and Amos the father of Josi'ah,
1:11 百姓被遷到巴比倫的時候，約西亞生耶哥尼雅和他的弟兄。
and Josi'ah the father of Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of the deportation to Babylon .
1:12 遷到巴比倫之後，耶哥尼雅生撒拉鐵；撒拉鐵生所羅巴伯；
And after the deportation to Babylon: Jechoni'ah was the father of She-al'ti-el, and She-al'ti-el the father of Zerub'babel,
1:13 所羅巴伯生亞比玉；亞比玉生以利亞敬；以利亞敬生亞所；
and Zerub'babel the father of Abi'ud, and Abi'ud the father of Eli'akim, and Eli'akim the father of Azor,
1:14 亞所生撒督；撒督生亞金；亞金生以律；
and Azor the father of Zadok, and Zadok the father of Achim, and Achim the father of Eli'ud,
1:15 以律生以利亞撒；以利亞撒生馬但；馬但生雅各；
and Eli'ud the father of Elea'zar, and Elea'zar the father of Matthan, and Matthan the father of Jacob,
1:16 雅各生約瑟，就是馬利亞的丈夫。那稱為基督的耶穌是從馬利亞生的。
and Jacob the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ.
1:17 這樣，從亞伯拉罕到大衛共有十四代；從大衛到遷至巴比倫的時候也有十四代；從遷至巴比倫的時候到基督又有十四代。
So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations.
1:18 耶穌基督降生的事記在下面：他母親馬利亞已經許配了約瑟，還沒有迎娶，馬利亞就從聖靈懷了孕。
Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit;
1:19 她丈夫約瑟是個義人，不願意明明的羞辱她，想要暗暗地把她休了。
and her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly.
1:20 正思念這事的時候，有主的使者向他夢中顯現，說：「大衛的子孫約瑟，不要怕！只管娶過你的妻子馬利亞來，因她所懷的孕是從聖靈來的。
But as he considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit;
1:21 她將要生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫耶穌，因他要將自己的百姓從罪惡裡救出來。」
she will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."
1:22 這一切的事成就是要應驗主藉先知所說的話，
All this took place to fulfil what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:
1:23 說：「必有童女懷孕生子；人要稱他的名為以馬內利。」（以馬內利翻出來就是「 神與我們同在」。）
"Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel" (which means, God with us).
1:24 約瑟醒了，起來，就遵著主使者的吩咐把妻子娶過來；
When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him; he took his wife,
1:25 只是沒有和她同房，等她生了兒子（有古卷：等他生了頭胎的兒子），就給他起名叫耶穌。
but knew her not until she had borne a son; and he called his name Jesus.
