經文: 馬太福音 8:4 耶穌對他說：「你切不可告訴人，只要去把身體給祭司察看，獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物，對眾人作證據。」
默想: 耶穌對於那位對主耶穌醫治能力有完全信心，只是祈求主耶穌的意願，懇求主耶穌肯醫治他，就得到了主耶穌即刻正面的回應，得到了醫治的恩典。主耶穌不只施恩醫治他，還很細心的吩咐他，不要立刻張揚，要先到祭司那邊取得痊癒證明書，獻上當獻的禮物，然後再讓眾人知道。我想，這位大痲瘋得醫治的人，很可能在得到主耶穌的醫治之後，高興的忘記要先去祭司那裡拿痊癒證明書，就立刻跑回家裡，要向家人分享他已經得到主耶穌醫治的好消息。結果很可能是還沒跑到家裡，他就先被眾人用石頭打死在半路了。因為根據摩西的律法，大痲瘋患者是不可以走進社區的，必須被隔離在外面 (民5:2)。感謝主耶穌如此細心的關照這位得醫治的大痲瘋患者。求主也將這樣的細心賞賜給我。
題目: 耶穌對百夫長說：「照你的信心，給你成全了。」(8:13)，百夫長的信心是什麼？對你有何提醒與激勵？
8:1 耶穌下了山，有許多人跟著他。
When he came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him;
8:2 有一個長大痲瘋的來拜他，說：「主若肯，必能叫我潔淨了。」
and behold, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying, "Lord, if you will, you can make me clean."
8:3 耶穌伸手摸他，說：「我肯，你潔淨了吧！」他的大痲瘋立刻就潔淨了。
And he stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, "I will; be clean." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
8:4 耶穌對他說：「你切不可告訴人，只要去把身體給祭司察看，獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物，對眾人作證據。」
And Jesus said to him, "See that you say nothing to any one; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a proof to the people."
8:5 耶穌進了迦百農，有一個百夫長進前來，求他說：
As he entered Caper'na-um, a centurion came forward to him, beseeching him
8:6 「主啊，我的僕人害癱瘓病，躺在家裡，甚是疼苦。」
and saying, "Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, in terrible distress."
8:7 耶穌說：「我去醫治他。」
And he said to him, "I will come and heal him."
8:8 百夫長回答說：「主啊，你到我舍下，我不敢當；只要你說一句話，我的僕人就必好了。
But the centurion answered him, "Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof; but only say the word, and my servant will be healed.
8:9 因為我在人的權下，也有兵在我以下；對這個說：『去！』他就去；對那個說：『來！』他就來；對我的僕人說：『你做這事！』他就去做。」
For I am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to one, `Go,' and he goes, and to another, `Come,' and he comes, and to my slave, `Do this,' and he does it."
8:10 耶穌聽見就希奇，對跟從的人說：「我實在告訴你們，這麼大的信心，就是在以色列中，我也沒有遇見過。
When Jesus heard him, he marveled, and said to those who followed him, "Truly, I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.
8:11 我又告訴你們，從東從西，將有許多人來，在天國裡與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各一同坐席；
I tell you, many will come from east and west and sit at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven,
8:12 惟有本國的子民竟被趕到外邊黑暗裡去，在那裡必要哀哭切齒了。」
while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness; there men will weep and gnash their teeth."
8:13 耶穌對百夫長說：「你回去吧！照你的信心，給你成全了。」那時，他的僕人就好了。
And to the centurion Jesus said, "Go; be it done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed at that very moment.
8:14 耶穌到了彼得家裡，見彼得的岳母害熱病躺著。
And when Jesus entered Peter's house, he saw his mother-in-law lying sick with a fever;
8:15 耶穌把她的手一摸，熱就退了；她就起來服事耶穌。
he touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she rose and served him.
8:16 到了晚上，有人帶著許多被鬼附的來到耶穌跟前，他只用一句話就把鬼都趕出去，並且治好了一切有病的人。
That evening they brought to him many who were possessed with demons; and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick.
8:17 這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話，說：他代替我們的軟弱，擔當我們的疾病。
This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, "He took our infirmities and bore our diseases."
8:18 耶穌見許多人圍著他，就吩咐渡到那邊去。
Now when Jesus saw great crowds around him, he gave orders to go over to the other side.
8:19 有一個文士來，對他說：「夫子，你無論往那裡去，我要跟從你。」
And a scribe came up and said to him, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go."
8:20 耶穌說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」
And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head."
8:21 又有一個門徒對耶穌說：「主啊，容我先回去埋葬我的父親。」
Another of the disciples said to him, "Lord, let me first go and bury my father."
8:22 耶穌說：「任憑死人埋葬他們的死人；你跟從我吧！」
But Jesus said to him, "Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead."
8:23 耶穌上了船，門徒跟著他。
And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him.
8:24 海裡忽然起了暴風，甚至船被波浪掩蓋；耶穌卻睡著了。
And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep.
8:25 門徒來叫醒了他，說：「主啊，救我們，我們喪命啦！」
And they went and woke him, saying, "Save, Lord; we are perishing."
8:26 耶穌說：「你們這小信的人哪，為甚麼膽怯呢？」於是起來，斥責風和海，風和海就大大地平靜了。
And he said to them, "Why are you afraid, O men of little faith?" Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
8:27 眾人希奇，說：「這是怎樣的人？連風和海也聽從他了！」
And the men marveled, saying, "What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?"
8:28 耶穌既渡到那邊去，來到加大拉人的地方，就有兩個被鬼附的人從墳塋裡出來迎著他，極其兇猛，甚至沒有人能從那條路上經過。
And when he came to the other side, to the country of the Gadarenes, two demoniacs met him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce that no one could pass that way.
8:29 他們喊著說：「 神的兒子，我們與你有甚麼相干？時候還沒有到，你就上這裡來叫我們受苦麼？」
And behold, they cried out, "What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?"
8:30 離他們很遠，有一大群豬吃食。
Now a herd of many swine was feeding at some distance from them.
8:31 鬼就央求耶穌，說：「若把我們趕出去，就打發我們進入豬群吧！」
And the demons begged him, "If you cast us out, send us away into the herd of swine."
8:32 耶穌說：「去吧！」鬼就出來，進入豬群。全群忽然闖下山崖，投在海裡淹死了。
And he said to them, "Go." So they came out and went into the swine; and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and perished in the waters.
8:33 放豬的就逃跑進城，將這一切事和被鬼附的人所遭遇的都告訴人。
The herdsmen fled, and going into the city they told everything, and what had happened to the demoniacs.
8:34 合城的人都出來迎見耶穌，既見了就央求他離開他們的境界。
And behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw him, they begged him to leave their neighborhood.
