經文: 士師記 4:8-9 巴拉說：你若同我去，我就去；你若不同我去，我就不去。底波拉說：我必與你同去，只是你在所行的路上得不著榮耀，因為耶和華要將西西拉交在一個婦人手裡。於是底波拉起來，與巴拉一同往基低斯去了。
默想: 我們看到在士師時代，耶和華呼召男性，也呼召女性來成為拯救與治理以色列人的士師。從此我們看到性別歧視並不是歷史中一直都是如此的。底波拉蒙耶和華呼召，成為一位女士師。底波拉將耶和華的命令傳給巴拉，要巴拉帶領一萬個拿弗他利和西布倫人上他泊山去，與擁有九百輛鐵車的西西拉將軍打仗。巴拉並不完全順服，他要求底波拉與他同去，他才願意去。底波拉在此表現出她的勇敢與對神的信心。她願意與巴拉同去，只是因為巴拉需要依靠一位女性，才敢前去打仗，耶和華會將西西拉交在一位女性的手裡，巴拉將得不到完全的榮耀。我們在希伯來書第十一章所列舉的信心偉人排行榜中，看到巴拉被名列其中，卻沒有看到底波拉的名字。由此可見，巴拉不完全的信心，還是被耶和華接納，且被名列信心偉人排行榜中。底波拉雖然比巴拉還勇敢，上帝卻把西西拉交給另外一位女子雅億的手裡，而沒有交在底波拉的手裡，在希伯來書也沒有將底波拉名字排進去。底波拉成為一位默默的見證人，更值得我內心的敬佩。
題目: 上主使用女先知底波拉為士師。「女性」在當時可謂是卑微不被看重的，但受巴拉請求一同出戰。試想，你是否也認為你是極卑微的人，但仍願被上主呼召一同出戰？
4:1 以笏死後，以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，
And the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, after Ehud died.
4:2 耶和華就把他們付與在夏瑣作王的迦南王耶賓手中；他的將軍是西西拉，住在外邦人的夏羅設。
And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor; the commander of his army was Sis'era, who dwelt in Haro'sheth-ha-goiim.
4:3 耶賓王有鐵車九百輛。他大大欺壓以色列人二十年，以色列人就呼求耶和華。
Then the people of Israel cried to the LORD for help; for he had nine hundred chariots of iron, and oppressed the people of Israel cruelly for twenty years.
4:4 有一位女先知名叫底波拉，是拉比多的妻，當時作以色列的士師。
Now Deb'orah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapp'idoth, was judging Israel at that time.
4:5 她住在以法蓮山地拉瑪和伯特利中間，在底波拉的棕樹下。以色列人都上她那裡去聽判斷。
She used to sit under the palm of Deb'orah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of E'phraim; and the people of Israel came up to her for judgment.
4:6 她打發人從拿弗他利的基低斯將亞比挪菴的兒子巴拉召了來，對他說：「耶和華─以色列的 神吩咐你說：『你率領一萬拿弗他利和西布倫人上他泊山去。
She sent and summoned Barak the son of Abin'o-am from Kedesh in Naph'tali, and said to him, "The LORD, the God of Israel, commands you, `Go, gather your men at Mount Tabor, taking ten thousand from the tribe of Naph'tali and the tribe of Zeb'ulun.
4:7 我必使耶賓的將軍西西拉率領他的車輛和全軍往基順河，到你那裡去；我必將他交在你手中。』」
And I will draw out Sis'era, the general of Jabin's army, to meet you by the river Kishon with his chariots and his troops; and I will give him into your hand.'"
4:8 巴拉說：「你若同我去，我就去；你若不同我去，我就不去。」
Barak said to her, "If you will go with me, I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go."
4:9 底波拉說：「我必與你同去，只是你在所行的路上得不著榮耀，因為耶和華要將西西拉交在一個婦人手裡。」於是底波拉起來，與巴拉一同往基低斯去了。
And she said, "I will surely go with you; nevertheless, the road on which you are going will not lead to your glory, for the LORD will sell Sis'era into the hand of a woman." Then Deb'orah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
4:10 巴拉就招聚西布倫人和拿弗他利人到基低斯，跟他上去的有一萬人。底波拉也同他上去。
And Barak summoned Zeb'ulun and Naph'tali to Kedesh; and ten thousand men went up at his heels; and Deb'orah went up with him.
4:11 摩西岳父（或譯：內兄）何巴的後裔，基尼人希百曾離開基尼族，到靠近基低斯撒拿音的橡樹旁支搭帳棚。
Now Heber the Ken'ite had separated from the Ken'ites, the descendants of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far away as the oak in Za-anan'nim, which is near Kedesh.
4:12 有人告訴西西拉說：「亞比挪菴的兒子巴拉已經上他泊山了。」
When Sis'era was told that Barak the son of Abin'o-am had gone up to Mount Tabor,
4:13 西西拉就聚集所有的鐵車九百輛，和跟隨他的全軍，從外邦人的夏羅設出來，到了基順河。
Sis'era called out all his chariots, nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the men who were with him, from Haro'sheth-ha-goiim to the river Kishon.
4:14 底波拉對巴拉說：「你起來，今日就是耶和華將西西拉交在你手的日子。耶和華豈不在你前頭行嗎？」於是巴拉下了他泊山，跟隨他有一萬人。
And Deb'orah said to Barak, "Up! For this is the day in which the LORD has given Sis'era into your hand. Does not the LORD go out before you?" So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him.
4:15 耶和華使西西拉和他一切車輛全軍潰亂，在巴拉面前被刀殺敗；西西拉下車步行逃跑。
And the LORD routed Sis'era and all his chariots and all his army before Barak at the edge of the sword; and Sis'era alighted from his chariot and fled away on foot.
4:16 巴拉追趕車輛、軍隊，直到外邦人的夏羅設。西西拉的全軍都倒在刀下，沒有留下一人。
And Barak pursued the chariots and the army to Haro'sheth-ha-goiim, and all the army of Sis'era fell by the edge of the sword; not a man was left.
4:17 只有西西拉步行逃跑，到了基尼人希百之妻雅億的帳棚，因為夏瑣王耶賓與基尼人希百家和好。
But Sis'era fled away on foot to the tent of Ja'el, the wife of Heber the Ken'ite; for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Ken'ite.
4:18 雅億出來迎接西西拉，對他說：「請我主進來，不要懼怕」；西西拉就進了她的帳棚。雅億用被將他遮蓋。
And Ja'el came out to meet Sis'era, and said to him, "Turn aside, my lord, turn aside to me; have no fear." So he turned aside to her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug.
4:19 西西拉對雅億說：「我渴了，求你給我一點水喝。」雅億就打開皮袋，給他奶子喝，仍舊把他遮蓋。
And he said to her, "Pray, give me a little water to drink; for I am thirsty." So she opened a skin of milk and gave him a drink and covered him.
4:20 西西拉又對雅億說：「請你站在帳棚門口，若有人來問你說：『有人在這裡沒有？』你就說：『沒有。』」
And he said to her, "Stand at the door of the tent, and if any man comes and asks you, `Is any one here?' say, No."
4:21 西西拉疲乏沉睡。希百的妻雅億取了帳棚的橛子，手裡拿著錘子，輕悄悄地到他旁邊，將橛子從他鬢邊釘進去，釘入地裡。西西拉就死了。
But Ja'el the wife of Heber took a tent peg, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him and drove the peg into his temple, till it went down into the ground, as he was lying fast asleep from weariness. So he died.
4:22 巴拉追趕西西拉的時候，雅億出來迎接他說：「來吧，我將你所尋找的人給你看。」他就進入帳棚，看見西西拉已經死了，倒在地上，橛子還在他鬢中。
And behold, as Barak pursued Sis'era, Ja'el went out to meet him, and said to him, "Come, and I will show you the man whom you are seeking." So he went in to her tent; and there lay Sis'era dead, with the tent peg in his temple.
4:23 這樣， 神使迦南王耶賓被以色列人制伏了。
So on that day God subdued Jabin the king of Canaan before the people of Israel.
4:24 從此以色列人的手越發有力，勝了迦南王耶賓，直到將他滅絕了。
And the hand of the people of Israel bore harder and harder on Jabin the king of Canaan, until they destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
And the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, after Ehud died.
4:2 耶和華就把他們付與在夏瑣作王的迦南王耶賓手中；他的將軍是西西拉，住在外邦人的夏羅設。
And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor; the commander of his army was Sis'era, who dwelt in Haro'sheth-ha-goiim.

4:7 我必使耶賓的將軍西西拉率領他的車輛和全軍往基順河，到你那裡去；我必將他交在你手中。』」
And I will draw out Sis'era, the general of Jabin's army, to meet you by the river Kishon with his chariots and his troops; and I will give him into your hand.'"
4:8 巴拉說：「你若同我去，我就去；你若不同我去，我就不去。」
Barak said to her, "If you will go with me, I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go."
4:9 底波拉說：「我必與你同去，只是你在所行的路上得不著榮耀，因為耶和華要將西西拉交在一個婦人手裡。」於是底波拉起來，與巴拉一同往基低斯去了。

And Deb'orah said to Barak, "Up! For this is the day in which the LORD has given Sis'era into your hand. Does not the LORD go out before you?" So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him.
4:15 耶和華使西西拉和他一切車輛全軍潰亂，在巴拉面前被刀殺敗；西西拉下車步行逃跑。
And the LORD routed Sis'era and all his chariots and all his army before Barak at the edge of the sword; and Sis'era alighted from his chariot and fled away on foot.
4:16 巴拉追趕車輛、軍隊，直到外邦人的夏羅設。西西拉的全軍都倒在刀下，沒有留下一人。
And Barak pursued the chariots and the army to Haro'sheth-ha-goiim, and all the army of Sis'era fell by the edge of the sword; not a man was left.
4:17 只有西西拉步行逃跑，到了基尼人希百之妻雅億的帳棚，因為夏瑣王耶賓與基尼人希百家和好。
But Sis'era fled away on foot to the tent of Ja'el, the wife of Heber the Ken'ite; for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Ken'ite.
4:18 雅億出來迎接西西拉，對他說：「請我主進來，不要懼怕」；西西拉就進了她的帳棚。雅億用被將他遮蓋。
And Ja'el came out to meet Sis'era, and said to him, "Turn aside, my lord, turn aside to me; have no fear." So he turned aside to her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug.

底波拉奉耶和華的命令，召巴拉來，授與拯救以色列民的重任，可是巴拉沒有信心。為甚麼上帝要選召巴拉呢？難道以色列中沒有比巴拉更有信心、更有勇力的人？其實上帝作工的方法很特別，祂「揀選了世上軟弱的，叫那強壯的羞愧。」（林前一27）而被上帝選上是何等榮耀的福分啊！巴拉拒絕神藉底波拉的召喚，就失去了為神工作的榮耀。
回覆刪除感謝神，蒙上帝揀選是何等的福份！你行事，沒有人能攔阻。你揀選世上軟弱的、愚拙的，為了要成就大事。求主幫助我！不要自卑而拒絕上帝的呼召，免得我失去為上帝工作的榮耀, 導致失去上帝賜我的福分。
