經文: 士師記 2:7 約書亞在世和約書亞死後，那些見耶和華為以色列人所行大事的長老還在的時候，百姓都事奉耶和華。
默想: 親身經歷上帝神蹟恩典的長老還在世的時候，以色列人都事奉耶和華。這裡讓我們看到親身經歷上帝恩典的重要性。沒有親身經歷上帝恩典的基督徒是第二手的基督徒 (second hand Christians)。他們所信仰的上帝是從前風聞的上帝，而不是如今眼見的上帝 (參閱伯42:5)。這也可能是撒旦在伊甸園向夏娃下手的原因之一，因為夏娃並沒有直接從上帝聽到禁令的經歷，很有可能是從亞當轉述而得到的第二手資料。求神讓我一生當中，常常有親身與您相會，經歷您的恩典的經歷。另外一個角度來看，信仰的傳承是一件非常不容易的事。摩西一再交待以色列人，說：以色列啊，你要聽！耶和華我們神是獨一的主。你要盡心、盡性、盡力愛耶和華你的神。我今日所吩咐你的話都要記在心上，也要殷勤教訓你的兒女。無論你坐在家裡，行在路上，躺下，起來，都要談論。也要繫在手上為記號，戴在額上為經文；又要寫在你房屋的門框上，並你的城門上。(申6:4-9) [Shema] 求主幫助我們，能夠重視子女的宗教教育。
題目: 約書亞去世後，以色列新一代開始離棄上主，但上帝一次次興起士師，來帶領他們脫離侵略者，但他們一次次背逆上主，試想，在我們信仰的道路上，是否曾一次次的犯錯，而讓上主的恩典成為廉價的恩典？
2:1 耶和華的使者從吉甲上到波金，對以色列人說：「我使你們從埃及上來，領你們到我向你們列祖起誓應許之地。我又說：『我永不廢棄與你們所立的約。
Now the angel of the LORD went up from Gilgal to Bochim. And he said, "I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you into the land which I swore to give to your fathers. I said, `I will never break my covenant with you,
2:2 你們也不可與這地的居民立約，要拆毀他們的祭壇。你們竟沒有聽從我的話！為何這樣行呢？』
and you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall break down their altars.' But you have not obeyed my command. What is this you have done?
2:3 因此我又說：『我必不將他們從你們面前趕出；他們必作你們肋下的荊棘。他們的 神必作你們的網羅。』」
So now I say, I will not drive them out before you; but they shall become adversaries to you, and their gods shall be a snare to you."
2:4 耶和華的使者向以色列眾人說這話的時候，百姓就放聲而哭。
When the angel of the LORD spoke these words to all the people of Israel, the people lifted up their voices and wept.
2:5 於是給那地方起名叫波金（就是哭的意思）。眾人在那裡向耶和華獻祭。
And they called the name of that place Bochim; and they sacrificed there to the LORD.
2:6 從前約書亞打發以色列百姓去的時候，他們各歸自己的地業，佔據地土。
When Joshua dismissed the people, the people of Israel went each to his inheritance to take possession of the land.
2:7 約書亞在世和約書亞死後，那些見耶和華為以色列人所行大事的長老還在的時候，百姓都事奉耶和華。
And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great work which the LORD had done for Israel.
2:8 耶和華的僕人、嫩的兒子約書亞，正一百一十歲就死了。
And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died at the age of one hundred and ten years.
2:9 以色列人將他葬在他地業的境內，就是在以法蓮山地的亭拿•希烈，在迦實山的北邊。
And they buried him within the bounds of his inheritance in Tim'nath-he'res, in the hill country of E'phraim, north of the mountain of Ga'ash.
2:10 那世代的人也都歸了自己的列祖。後來有別的世代興起，不知道耶和華，也不知道耶和華為以色列人所行的事。
And all that generation also were gathered to their fathers; and there arose another generation after them, who did not know the LORD or the work which he had done for Israel.
2:11 以色列人行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，去事奉諸巴力，
And the people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the LORD and served the Ba'als;
2:12 離棄了領他們出埃及地的耶和華─他們列祖的 神，去叩拜別神，就是四圍列國的神，惹耶和華發怒；
and they forsook the LORD, the God of their fathers, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt; they went after other gods, from among the gods of the peoples who were round about them, and bowed down to them; and they provoked the LORD to anger.
2:13 並離棄耶和華，去事奉巴力和亞斯她錄。
They forsook the LORD, and served the Ba'als and the Ash'taroth.
2:14 耶和華的怒氣向以色列人發作，就把他們交在搶奪他們的人手中，又將他們付與四圍仇敵的手中，甚至他們在仇敵面前再不能站立得住。
So the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he gave them over to plunderers, who plundered them; and he sold them into the power of their enemies round about, so that they could no longer withstand their enemies.
2:15 他們無論往何處去，耶和華都以災禍攻擊他們，正如耶和華所說的話，又如耶和華向他們所起的誓；他們便極其困苦。
Whenever they marched out, the hand of the LORD was against them for evil, as the LORD had warned, and as the LORD had sworn to them; and they were in sore straits.
2:16 耶和華興起士師，士師就拯救他們脫離搶奪他們人的手。
Then the LORD raised up judges, who saved them out of the power of those who plundered them.
2:17 他們卻不聽從士師，竟隨從叩拜別神，行了邪淫，速速地偏離他們列祖所行的道，不如他們列祖順從耶和華的命令。
And yet they did not listen to their judges; for they played the harlot after other gods and bowed down to them; they soon turned aside from the way in which their fathers had walked, who had obeyed the commandments of the LORD, and they did not do so.
2:18 耶和華為他們興起士師，就與那士師同在。士師在世的一切日子，耶和華拯救他們脫離仇敵的手。他們因受欺壓擾害，就哀聲歎氣，所以耶和華後悔了。
Whenever the LORD raised up judges for them, the LORD was with the judge, and he saved them from the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for the LORD was moved to pity by their groaning because of those who afflicted and oppressed them.
2:19 及至士師死後，他們就轉去行惡，比他們列祖更甚，去事奉叩拜別神，總不斷絕頑梗的惡行。
But whenever the judge died, they turned back and behaved worse than their fathers, going after other gods, serving them and bowing down to them; they did not drop any of their practices or their stubborn ways.
2:20 於是耶和華的怒氣向以色列人發作。他說：「因這民違背我吩咐他們列祖所守的約，不聽從我的話，
So the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel; and he said, "Because this people have transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not obeyed my voice,
2:21 所以約書亞死的時候所剩下的各族，我必不再從他們面前趕出，
I will not henceforth drive out before them any of the nations that Joshua left when he died,
2:22 為要藉此試驗以色列人，看他們肯照他們列祖謹守遵行我的道不肯。」
that by them I may test Israel, whether they will take care to walk in the way of the LORD as their fathers did, or not."
2:23 這樣耶和華留下各族，不將他們速速趕出，也沒有交付約書亞的手。
So the LORD left those nations, not driving them out at once, and he did not give them into the power of Joshua.
Now the angel of the LORD went up from Gilgal to Bochim. And he said, "I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you into the land which I swore to give to your fathers. I said, `I will never break my covenant with you,
2:2 你們也不可與這地的居民立約，要拆毀他們的祭壇。你們竟沒有聽從我的話！為何這樣行呢？』
and you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall break down their altars.' But you have not obeyed my command. What is this you have done?
2:3 因此我又說：『我必不將他們從你們面前趕出；他們必作你們肋下的荊棘。他們的 神必作你們的網羅。』」
So now I say, I will not drive them out before you; but they shall become adversaries to you, and their gods shall be a snare to you."
2:4 耶和華的使者向以色列眾人說這話的時候，百姓就放聲而哭。
When the angel of the LORD spoke these words to all the people of Israel, the people lifted up their voices and wept.
2:5 於是給那地方起名叫波金（就是哭的意思）。眾人在那裡向耶和華獻祭。
And they called the name of that place Bochim; and they sacrificed there to the LORD.
2:6 從前約書亞打發以色列百姓去的時候，他們各歸自己的地業，佔據地土。
When Joshua dismissed the people, the people of Israel went each to his inheritance to take possession of the land.
2:7 約書亞在世和約書亞死後，那些見耶和華為以色列人所行大事的長老還在的時候，百姓都事奉耶和華。
And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great work which the LORD had done for Israel.
2:8 耶和華的僕人、嫩的兒子約書亞，正一百一十歲就死了。
And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died at the age of one hundred and ten years.
2:9 以色列人將他葬在他地業的境內，就是在以法蓮山地的亭拿•希烈，在迦實山的北邊。
And they buried him within the bounds of his inheritance in Tim'nath-he'res, in the hill country of E'phraim, north of the mountain of Ga'ash.
2:10 那世代的人也都歸了自己的列祖。後來有別的世代興起，不知道耶和華，也不知道耶和華為以色列人所行的事。

2:11 以色列人行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，去事奉諸巴力，

2:12 離棄了領他們出埃及地的耶和華─他們列祖的 神，去叩拜別神，就是四圍列國的神，惹耶和華發怒；
and they forsook the LORD, the God of their fathers, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt; they went after other gods, from among the gods of the peoples who were round about them, and bowed down to them; and they provoked the LORD to anger.

that by them I may test Israel, whether they will take care to walk in the way of the LORD as their fathers did, or not."
2:23 這樣耶和華留下各族，不將他們速速趕出，也沒有交付約書亞的手。
So the LORD left those nations, not driving them out at once, and he did not give them into the power of Joshua.

「你們也不可與這地的居民立約，要拆毀他們的祭壇。你們竟沒有聽從我的話！為何這樣行呢？」(士師記 2:2) 「那世代的人也都歸了自己的列祖。後來有別的世代興起，不知道耶和華，也不知道耶和華為以色列人所行的事。」(士師記 2:10)
回覆刪除士師記 2:1～5節告訴我們：新生的以色列民一代，不聽從上帝的話。士師記 2:6～10節也告訴我們：這些新生的一代不認識上帝。雖經歷過約旦河，耶利哥城陷落的神蹟等等，可是他們沒有聽從上帝的吩咐，把迦南地的異族清除，卻留下他們作苦工。上帝說，這些外邦人和他們邪淫的宗教風俗，終有一天成為心腹大患。百姓因神的責備而放聲大哭，表明他們尚有悔意，但是卻看不見他們有悔改的行動。悔而不改，沒有用的。
求主幫助我們，在我們信仰的社生活中，用神的話去教育下一代，來認識上帝，聽從祂的話。不要認為我已受洗，成為基督徒，一次得救，就永遠得救。若我們沒有真正的認識上帝，每天不讀經，不禱告，不聽從上帝的話，過討神喜悅的生活；卻自認為主的寶血和恩典，必會赦免我們的過錯和不義，因此，我可以放縱情慾，反正做錯了，再悔改認罪，主會赦免的。這是萬萬行不得的。若把主耶穌的恩典當做廉價的恩典，而沒有確實真正的認罪悔改，我們就和這段經文所述的新生的以色列的第二代一樣，迷失，自取敗壞。上帝是公義的，趕快從罪惡中回轉，/遵行上帝的道路，做個真正的基督徒。
