經文: 歷代志上 14:14-16 大衛又求問神。神說：「不要一直地上去，要轉到他們後頭，從桑林對面攻打他們。你聽見桑樹梢上有腳步的聲音，就要出戰，因為神已經在你前頭去攻打非利士人的軍隊。」大衛就遵著神所吩咐的，攻打非利士人的軍隊，從基遍直到基色。

 

默想: 大衛帶領以色列人與非利士人打仗，非利士人在利乏音谷擺陣。大衛求問耶和華。耶和華指示大衛，他的軍隊可以給與非利士人迎頭痛擊。耶和華幫助大衛與以色列人打了一個大勝仗。大衛把榮耀歸給耶和華。不久之後，非利士人又來在利乏音谷擺陣，大衛並沒有因為上次勝利的經驗，以及這次情境的類似，就憑著既往的經驗依樣畫葫蘆，直接給與非利士人迎頭痛擊。大衛還是先到耶和華面前求問。結果是耶和華這次給大衛不同的指示。耶和華這次要大衛王採取迂迴戰術，繞到非利士人背後，從桑林對面攻擊非利士人。耶和華且會先派遣天軍在以色列軍隊面前，去擊殺非利士人。大衛遵行耶和華的指示，又打了一個大勝仗。求主幫助我，在服侍時，不要依靠自己過去成功的經驗，而是每次都要謙卑的到耶和華面前禱告，尋求並順服耶和華的啟示與帶領。

題目: 上主告訴大衛「你一聽到樹梢有腳步的聲音，立刻進攻，因為我已經走在你前面去攻擊非利士的軍隊了。」(v15)試想，你曾經歷與神同工時，神卻已在前面為你舖路嗎？ 

 

14:1 泰爾王希蘭將香柏木運到大衛那裡，又差遣使者和石匠、木匠給大衛建造宮殿。
And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, also masons and carpenters to build a house for him.
14:2 大衛就知道耶和華堅立他作以色列王，又為自己的民以色列，使他的國興旺。
And David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that his kingdom was highly exalted for the sake of his people Israel.
14:3 大衛在耶路撒冷又立后妃，又生兒女。
And David took more wives in Jerusalem, and David begot more sons and daughters.
14:4 在耶路撒冷所生的眾子是沙母亞、朔罷、拿單、所羅門、
These are the names of the children whom he had in Jerusalem: Shammu'a, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon,
14:5 益轄、以利書亞、以法列、
Ibhar, Eli'shu-a, El'pelet,
14:6 挪迦、尼斐、雅非亞、
Nogah, Nepheg, Japhi'a,
14:7 以利沙瑪、比利雅大、以利法列。
Eli'shama, Beeli'ada, and Eliph'elet.
14:8 非利士人聽見大衛受膏作以色列眾人的王，非利士眾人就上來尋索大衛。大衛聽見，就出去迎敵。
When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up in search of David; and David heard of it and went out against them.
14:9 非利士人來了，布散在利乏音谷。
Now the Philistines had come and made a raid in the valley of Reph'aim.
14:10 大衛求問　神，說：「我可以上去攻打非利士人嗎？你將他們交在我手裡嗎？」耶和華說：「你可以上去，我必將他們交在你手裡。」
And David inquired of God, "Shall I go up against the Philistines? Wilt thou give them into my hand?" And the LORD said to him, "Go up, and I will give them into your hand."
14:11 非利士人來到巴力•毗拉心，大衛在那裡殺敗他們。大衛說：「　神藉我的手沖破敵人，如同水沖去一般」；因此稱那地方為巴力•毗拉心。
And he went up to Ba'al-pera'zim, and David defeated them there; and David said, "God has broken through my enemies by my hand, like a bursting flood." Therefore the name of that place is called Ba'al-pera'zim.
14:12 非利士人將神像撇在那裡，大衛吩咐人用火焚燒了。
And they left their gods there, and David gave command, and they were burned.
14:13 非利士人又布散在利乏音谷。
And the Philistines yet again made a raid in the valley.
14:14 大衛又求問　神。　神說：「不要一直地上去，要轉到他們後頭，從桑林對面攻打他們。
And when David again inquired of God, God said to him, "You shall not go up after them; go around and come upon them opposite the balsam trees.
14:15 你聽見桑樹梢上有腳步的聲音，就要出戰，因為　神已經在你前頭去攻打非利士人的軍隊。」
And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then go out to battle; for God has gone out before you to smite the army of the Philistines."
14:16 大衛就遵著　神所吩咐的，攻打非利士人的軍隊，從基遍直到基色。
And David did as God commanded him, and they smote the Philistine army from Gibeon to Gezer.
14:17 於是大衛的名傳揚到列國，耶和華使列國都懼怕他。
And the fame of David went out into all lands, and the LORD brought the fear of him upon all nations.

經文: 歷代志上 13:11-13 大衛因耶和華擊殺（原文作闖殺）烏撒，心裡愁煩，就稱那地方為毗列斯烏撒，直到今日。那日，大衛懼怕神，說：「神的約櫃怎可運到我這裡來？」於是大衛不將約櫃運進大衛的城，卻運到迦特人俄別以東的家中。

默想: 大衛王想要將約櫃從基列耶琳遷移到耶路撒冷，沒有料到在半路基頓禾場的附近，牛失前蹄，烏撒好意前往扶住約櫃，卻在現場被耶和華擊殺。對於這件不幸的意外，大衛的反應是，約櫃是可怕的、危險的，一不小心碰觸會致人死地的。於是大衛不將耶和華的約櫃運進大衛之城，卻轉運到迦特人俄別以東的家裡。這裡讓我們看到大衛王軟弱與自私的一面。如果大衛害怕約櫃的危險性，那麼把約櫃轉運到俄別以東的家裡，是要陷俄別以東家人於危險之境。大衛王也沒有請教先知或祭司，去進一步瞭解烏撒被耶和華擊殺的原因，而設法改善約櫃的搬運方法，以避免同樣的不幸悲劇再發生。求主幫助我，在服事主的道路上，如果遭遇到挫折或困難，要到主面前尋求瞭解這些挫折與困難之原因，並向神求問解決這些挫折與困難的恰當方法。不要只是把這些挫折與困難，像燙手山芋一樣，丟給別人去承受。

題目: 約櫃不只象徵上主的同在，且真實帶來祝福，所以迎接祂的俄別以東家，及屬他的一切都得到祝福。試想，「上主同在」對身為基督徒的你，只是一種象徵性的描述，還是真實體驗到祂的賜福？ 

 

13:1 大衛與千夫長、百夫長，就是一切首領商議。
David consulted with the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, with every leader.
13:2 大衛對以色列全會眾說：「你們若以為美，見這事是出於耶和華─我們的　神，我們就差遣人走遍以色列地，見我們未來的弟兄，又見住在有郊野之城的祭司利未人，使他們都到這裡來聚集。
And David said to all the assembly of Israel, "If it seems good to you, and if it is the will of the LORD our God, let us send abroad to our brethren who remain in all the land of Israel, and with them to the priests and Levites in the cities that have pasture lands, that they may come together to us.
13:3 我們要把　神的約櫃運到我們這裡來；因為在掃羅年間，我們沒有在約櫃前求問　神。」
Then let us bring again the ark of our God to us; for we neglected it in the days of Saul."
13:4 全會眾都說可以如此行；這事在眾民眼中都看為好。
All the assembly agreed to do so, for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.
13:5 於是，大衛將以色列人從埃及的西曷河直到哈馬口都招聚了來，要從基列•耶琳將　神的約櫃運來。
So David assembled all Israel from the Shihor of Egypt to the entrance of Hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kir'iath-je'arim.
13:6 大衛率領以色列眾人上到巴拉，就是屬猶大的基列•耶琳，要從那裡將約櫃運來。這約櫃就是坐在二基路伯上耶和華　神留名的約櫃。
And David and all Israel went up to Ba'alah, that is, to Kir'iath-je'arim which belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the LORD who sits enthroned above the cherubim.
13:7 他們將　神的約櫃從亞比拿達的家裡抬出來，放在新車上。烏撒和亞希約趕車。
And they carried the ark of God upon a new cart, from the house of Abin'adab, and Uzzah and Ahi'o were driving the cart.
13:8 大衛和以色列眾人在　神前用琴、瑟、鑼、鼓、號作樂，極力跳舞歌唱。
And David and all Israel were making merry before God with all their might, with song and lyres and harps and tambourines and cymbals and trumpets.
13:9 到了基頓【撒下六章六節作拿艮】的禾場；因為牛失前蹄【或作驚跳】，烏撒就伸手扶住約櫃。
And when they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzzah put out his hand to hold the ark, for the oxen stumbled.
13:10 耶和華向他發怒，因他伸手扶住約櫃擊殺他，他就死在　神面前。
And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and he smote him because he put forth his hand to the ark; and he died there before God.
13:11 大衛因耶和華擊殺【原文作闖殺】烏撒，心裡愁煩，就稱那地方為毗列斯•烏撒，直到今日。
And David was angry because the LORD had broken forth upon Uzzah; and that place is called Pe'rez-uz'za to this day.
13:12 那日，大衛懼怕　神，說：「　神的約櫃怎可運到我這裡來？」
And David was afraid of God that day; and he said, "How can I bring the ark of God home to me?"
13:13 於是大衛不將約櫃運進大衛的城，卻運到迦特人俄別•以東的家中。
So David did not take the ark home into the city of David, but took it aside to the house of O'bed-e'dom the Gittite.
13:14 　神的約櫃在俄別•以東家中三個月，耶和華賜福給俄別•以東的家和他一切所有的。
And the ark of God remained with the household of O'bed-e'dom in his house three months; and the LORD blessed the household of O'bed-e'dom and all that he had.

經文: 歷代志上 11:16-19 那時大衛在山寨，非利士人的防營在伯利恆。大衛渴想，說：「甚願有人將伯利恆城門旁井裡的水打來給我喝！」這三個勇士就闖過非利士人的營盤，從伯利恆城門旁的井裡打水，拿來奉給大衛。他卻不肯喝，將水奠在耶和華面前，說：「我的神啊，這三個人冒死去打水，這水好像他們的血一般，我斷不敢喝！」如此，大衛不肯喝。這是三個勇士所做的事。

默想:大衛是伯利恆人，被掃羅追殺而長年在外流浪。故鄉伯利恆就在眼前，但是有非利士防營駐在伯利恆。大衛懷鄉之情讓他情不自禁說出他想喝一口伯利恆城門旁那口井中打上來的水。或許這只是大衛一個無心之言，沒有想到大衛的三個勇士竟然為了大衛這樣一句無心之語，冒著生命的危險，闖過敵軍非利士營盤，從伯利恆城門口那口井打了水，拿來給大衛喝。大衛為他們的愛心與勇敢大為感動，將水澆奠在耶和華面前，向耶和華禱告說，這是三位勇士冒生命危險所打來的水，就像他們的血一樣的寶貴，大衛不敢也不肯喝，卻將這些水獻在耶和華面前。從這個故事，我們看到大衛與三位勇士之間，存在著令人感動的友誼。朋友就是會冒險設法去幫助好朋友完成他的心願，朋友也是會珍惜朋友為你所做出的犧牲與冒險，而在主面前為朋友禱告。求主幫助我，學習做為一個好朋友。

題目: 以色列民到希伯崙與大衛立約，擁立他為全以色列的王，一切正如撒母耳的預言。試問，在你人生經歷的事件中，是否神也早就向你顯明結局？

 

11:1 以色列眾人聚集到希伯崙見大衛，說：「我們原是你的骨肉。
Then all Israel gathered together to David at Hebron, and said, "Behold, we are your bone and flesh.
11:2 從前掃羅作王的時候，率領以色列人出入的是你；耶和華─你的　神也曾應許你說：『你必牧養我的民以色列，作以色列的君。』」
In times past, even when Saul was king, it was you that led out and brought in Israel; and the LORD your God said to you, `You shall be shepherd of my people Israel, and you shall be prince over my people Israel.'"
11:3 於是以色列的長老都來到希伯崙見大衛王。大衛在希伯崙耶和華面前與他們立約，他們就膏大衛作以色列的王，是照耶和華藉撒母耳所說的話。
So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron; and David made a covenant with them at Hebron before the LORD, and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD by Samuel.
11:4 大衛和以色列眾人到了耶路撒冷，就是耶布斯；那時耶布斯人住在那裡。
And David and all Israel went to Jerusalem, that is Jebus, where the Jeb'usites were, the inhabitants of the land.
11:5 耶布斯人對大衛說：「你決不能進這地方。」然而大衛攻取錫安的保障，就是大衛的城。
The inhabitants of Jebus said to David, "You will not come in here." Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion, that is, the city of David.
11:6 大衛說：「誰先攻打耶布斯人，必作首領元帥。」洗魯雅的兒子約押先上去，就作了元帥。
David said, "Whoever shall smite the Jeb'usites first shall be chief and commander." And Jo'ab the son of Zeru'iah went up first, so he became chief.
11:7 大衛住在保障裡，所以那保障叫作大衛城。
And David dwelt in the stronghold; therefore it was called the city of David.
11:8 大衛又從米羅起，四圍建築城牆，其餘的是約押修理。
And he built the city round about from the Millo in complete circuit; and Jo'ab repaired the rest of the city.
11:9 大衛日見強盛，因為萬軍之耶和華與他同在。
And David became greater and greater, for the LORD of hosts was with him.
11:10 以下記錄跟隨大衛勇士的首領，就是奮勇幫助他得國、照著耶和華吩咐以色列人的話、與以色列人一同立他作王的。
Now these are the chiefs of David's mighty men, who gave him strong support in his kingdom, together with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD concerning Israel.
11:11 大衛勇士的數目記在下面：哈革摩尼的兒子雅朔班，他是軍長的統領，一時舉槍殺了三百人。
This is an account of David's mighty men: Jasho'be-am, a Hach'monite, was chief of the three; he wielded his spear against three hundred whom he slew at one time.
11:12 其次是亞合人朵多的兒子以利亞撒，他是三個勇士裡的一個。
And next to him among the three mighty men was Elea'zar the son of Dodo, the Aho'hite.
11:13 他從前與大衛在巴斯•達閔，非利士人聚集要打仗。那裡有一塊長滿大麥的田，眾民就在非利士人面前逃跑；
He was with David at Pas-dam'mim when the Philistines were gathered there for battle. There was a plot of ground full of barley, and the men fled from the Philistines.
11:14 這勇士便站在那田間擊殺非利士人，救護了那田。耶和華使以色列人大獲全勝。
But he took his stand in the midst of the plot, and defended it, and slew the Philistines; and the LORD saved them by a great victory.
11:15 三十個勇士中的三個人下到磐石那裡，進了亞杜蘭洞見大衛；非利士的軍隊在利乏音谷安營。
Three of the thirty chief men went down to the rock to David at the cave of Adullam, when the army of Philistines was encamped in the valley of Reph'aim.
11:16 那時大衛在山寨，非利士人的防營在伯利恆。
David was then in the stronghold; and the garrison of the Philistines was then at Bethlehem.
11:17 大衛渴想，說：「甚願有人將伯利恆城門旁井裡的水打來給我喝！」
And David said longingly, "O that some one would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem which is by the gate!"
11:18 這三個勇士就闖過非利士人的營盤，從伯利恆城門旁的井裡打水，拿來奉給大衛。他卻不肯喝，將水奠在耶和華面前，
Then the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem which was by the gate, and took and brought it to David. But David would not drink of it; he poured it out to the LORD,
11:19 說：「我的　神啊，這三個人冒死去打水，這水好像他們的血一般，我斷不敢喝！」如此，大衛不肯喝。這是三個勇士所做的事。
and said, "Far be it from me before my God that I should do this. Shall I drink the lifeblood of these men? For at the risk of their lives they brought it." Therefore he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty men.
11:20 約押的兄弟亞比篩是這三個勇士的首領；他舉槍殺了三百人，就在三個勇士裡得了名。
Now Abi'shai, the brother of Jo'ab, was chief of the thirty. And he wielded his spear against three hundred men and slew them, and won a name beside the three.
11:21 他在這三個勇士裡是最尊貴的，所以作他們的首領；只是不及前三個勇士。
He was the most renowned of the thirty, and became their commander; but he did not attain to the three.
11:22 有甲薛勇耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅行過大能的事：他殺了摩押人亞利伊勒的兩個兒子，又在下雪的時候下坑裡去殺了一個獅子，
And Benai'ah the son of Jehoi'ada was a valiant man of Kabzeel, a doer of great deeds; he smote two ariels of Moab. He also went down and slew a lion in a pit on a day when snow had fallen.
11:23 又殺了一個埃及人。埃及人身高五肘，手裡拿著槍，槍桿粗如織布的機軸；比拿雅只拿著棍子下去，從埃及人手裡奪過槍來，用那槍將他刺死。
And he slew an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits tall. The Egyptian had in his hand a spear like a weaver's beam; but Benai'ah went down to him with a staff, and snatched the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear.
11:24 這是耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅所行的事，就在三個勇士裡得了名。
These things did Benai'ah the son of Jehoi'ada, and won a name beside the three mighty men.
11:25 他比那三十個勇士都尊貴，只是不及前三個勇士。大衛立他作護衛長。
He was renowned among the thirty, but he did not attain to the three. And David set him over his bodyguard.
11:26 軍中的勇士有約押的兄弟亞撒黑，伯利恆人朵多的兒子伊勒哈難，
The mighty men of the armies were As'ahel the brother of Jo'ab, Elha'nan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem,
11:27 哈律人沙瑪，比倫人希利斯，
Shammoth of Harod, Helez the Pel'onite,
11:28 提哥亞人益吉的兒子以拉，亞拿突人亞比以謝，
Ira the son of Ikkesh of Teko'a, Abi-e'zer of An'athoth,
11:29 戶沙人西比該，亞合人以來，
Sib'becai the Hu'shathite, I'lai the Aho'hite,
11:30 尼陀法人瑪哈萊，尼陀法人巴拿的兒子希立，
Ma'harai of Netoph'ah, Heled the son of Ba'anah of Netoph'ah,
11:31 便雅憫族基比亞人利拜的兒子以太，比拉頓人比拿雅，
Ithai the son of Ribai of Gib'e-ah of the Benjaminites, Benai'ah of Pira'thon,
11:32 迦實溪人戶萊，亞拉巴人亞比，
Hurai of the brooks of Ga'ash, Abi'el the Ar'bathite,

Eli'el the Ma'havite, and Jer'ibai, and Joshavi'ah, the sons of El'na-am, and Ithmah the Mo'abite,
11:47 以利業、俄備得，並米瑣八人雅西業。

2012-09-25 (代上10)

經文: 歷代志上 10:13-14 這樣，掃羅死了。因為他干犯耶和華，沒有遵守耶和華的命；又因他求問交鬼的婦人，沒有求問耶和華，所以耶和華使他被殺，把國歸於耶西的兒子大衛。

默想: 掃羅是上帝所揀選、所膏抹、所設立的第一位以色列君王。掃羅王也曾經被聖靈充滿。但是，非常遺憾的是，掃羅王在戰利品的處理，以及敬拜的禮儀上面，私自留下上帝交待要全部滅絕的財物、擅自越權不等待撒母耳到來，就自己上祭壇獻祭。當先知撒母耳指責他時，掃羅王不只是不悔改，還企圖狡辯。當耶和華拒絕回答掃羅的問題時，掃羅還是不知悔改，反而一意孤行，去找交鬼婦人，企圖從已經去世的撒母耳亡魂問到答案。掃羅王的結局是十分悲慘的。求主幫助我，一生聽從順服主的命令。一旦犯錯得罪上帝，要趕快謙卑悔改認罪，好接受主耶穌赦罪的恩典，以免陷入與掃羅王一樣的悲慘結局。

題目: 悲慘的掃羅，死後屍首被釘於異教神廟，幸得一群知恩圖報的基列雅比居民，冒險取回屍道安葬。試想，在你受人恩惠後，如聽聞恩人有難，是否願意冒險報恩？再思，救主耶穌為我們所做的一切，你又該如何報恩？ 

 

10:1 非利士人與以色列人爭戰，以色列人在非利士人面前逃跑，在基利波山有被殺仆倒的。
Now the Philistines fought against Israel; and the men of Israel fled before the Philistines, and fell slain on Mount Gilbo'a.
10:2 非利士人緊追掃羅和他兒子們，就殺了掃羅的兒子約拿單、亞比拿達、麥基舒亞。
And the Philistines overtook Saul and his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan and Abin'adab and Mal'chishu'a, the sons of Saul.
10:3 勢派甚大，掃羅被弓箭手追上，射傷甚重，
The battle pressed hard upon Saul, and the archers found him; and he was wounded by the archers.
10:4 就吩咐拿他兵器的人說：「你拔出刀來，將我刺死，免得那些未受割禮的人來凌辱我。」但拿兵器的人甚懼怕，不肯刺他；
Then Saul said to his armor-bearer, "Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and make sport of me." But his armor-bearer would not; for he feared greatly. Therefore Saul took his own sword, and fell upon it.
10:5 掃羅就自己伏在刀上死了。拿兵器的人見掃羅已死，也伏在刀上死了。
And when his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell upon his sword, and died.
10:6 這樣，掃羅和他三個兒子，並他的全家都一同死亡。
Thus Saul died; he and his three sons and all his house died together.
10:7 住平原的以色列眾人見以色列軍兵逃跑，掃羅和他兒子都死了，也就棄城逃跑，非利士人便來住在其中。
And when all the men of Israel who were in the valley saw that the army had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook their cities and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.
10:8 次日，非利士人來剝那被殺之人的衣服，看見掃羅和他兒子仆倒在基利波山，
On the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilbo'a.
10:9 就剝了他的軍裝，割下他的首級，打發人到【或作送到】非利士地的四境報信與他們的偶像和眾民，
And they stripped him and took his head and his armor, and sent messengers throughout the land of the Philistines, to carry the good news to their idols and to the people.
10:10 又將掃羅的軍裝放在他們神的廟裡，將他的首級釘在大袞廟中。
And they put his armor in the temple of their gods, and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon.
10:11 基列•雅比人聽見非利士人向掃羅所行的一切事，
But when all Ja'besh-gil'ead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,
10:12 他們中間所有的勇士就起身前去，將掃羅和他兒子的屍身送到雅比，將他們的屍骨葬在雅比的橡樹下，就禁食七日。
all the valiant men arose, and took away the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh. And they buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days.
10:13 這樣，掃羅死了。因為他干犯耶和華，沒有遵守耶和華的命；又因他求問交鬼的婦人，
So Saul died for his unfaithfulness; he was unfaithful to the LORD in that he did not keep the command of the LORD, and also consulted a medium, seeking guidance,
10:14 沒有求問耶和華，所以耶和華使他被殺，把國歸於耶西的兒子大衛。
and did not seek guidance from the LORD. Therefore the LORD slew him, and turned the kingdom over to David the son of Jesse.

經文: 以弗所書 5:3-5 至於淫亂並一切污穢，或是貪婪，在你們中間連提都不可，方合聖徒的體統。淫詞、妄語，和戲笑的話都不相宜；總要說感謝的話。因為你們確實的知道，無論是淫亂的，是污穢的，是有貪心的，在基督和神的國裡都是無分的。有貪心的，就與拜偶像的一樣。

默想: 保羅在此提到有關話語與信仰的關係。保羅認為有關色情、無聊、或嘲諷的話語，都是不合宜的。信徒要常常說感恩的話。知足才會感恩。不知足就會陷入貪心。保羅認為貪心就與拜偶像一樣。貪心是十誡的最後一誡，拜偶像是十誡的第二誡。貪心就是對於上帝所創造與賞賜的禮物，不會知足與感恩，而是永無止境的企圖得到更多。如此，所貪圖的對象就會成為我們心中的偶像，主宰我們的生命。求主幫助我，讓我能夠常常知足感恩，常常說感恩的話。

題目: 保羅勸勉夫妻彼此順服，建立以基督為首的家庭，試問，在你的家庭裡，夫妻間是否以存敬畏基督的心，彼此順服？

 

5:1 所以，你們該效法　神，好像蒙慈愛的兒女一樣。
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
5:2 也要憑愛心行事，正如基督愛我們，為我們捨了自己，當作馨香的供物和祭物，獻與　神。
And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
5:3 至於淫亂並一切污穢，或是貪婪，在你們中間連提都不可，方合聖徒的體統。
But fornication and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is fitting among saints.
5:4 淫詞、妄語，和戲笑的話都不相宜；總要說感謝的話。
Let there be no filthiness, nor silly talk, nor levity, which are not fitting; but instead let there be thanksgiving.
5:5 因為你們確實地知道，無論是淫亂的，是污穢的，是有貪心的，在基督和　神的國裡都是無分的。有貪心的，就與拜偶像的一樣。
Be sure of this, that no fornicator or impure man, or one who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
5:6 不要被人虛浮的話欺哄；因這些事，　神的忿怒必臨到那悖逆之子。
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for it is because of these things that the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
5:7 所以，你們不要與他們同夥。
Therefore do not associate with them,
5:8 從前你們是暗昧的，但如今在主裡面是光明的，行事為人就當像光明的子女。
for once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light
5:9 光明所結的果子就是一切良善、公義、誠實。
(for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true),
5:10 總要察驗何為主所喜悅的事。
and try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
5:11 那暗昧無益的事，不要與人同行，倒要責備行這事的人；
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.
5:12 因為他們暗中所行的，就是提起來也是可恥的。
For it is a shame even to speak of the things that they do in secret;
5:13 凡事受了責備，就被光顯明出來，因為一切能顯明的就是光。
but when anything is exposed by the light it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light.
5:14 所以主說：你這睡著的人當醒過來，從死裡復活！基督就要光照你了。
Therefore it is said, "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light."
5:15 你們要謹慎行事，不要像愚昧人，當像智慧人。
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise,
5:16 要愛惜光陰，因為現今的世代邪惡。
making the most of the time, because the days are evil.
5:17 不要作糊塗人，要明白主的旨意如何。
Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
5:18 不要醉酒，酒能使人放蕩；乃要被聖靈充滿。
And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit,
5:19 當用詩章、頌詞、靈歌彼此對說，口唱心和地讚美主。
addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart,
5:20 凡事要奉我們主耶穌基督的名常常感謝父　神。
always and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.
5:21 又當存敬畏基督的心，彼此順服。
Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.
5:22 你們作妻子的，當順服自己的丈夫，如同順服主。
Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord.
5:23 因為丈夫是妻子的頭，如同基督是教會的頭；他又是教會全體的救主。
For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.
5:24 教會怎樣順服基督，妻子也要怎樣凡事順服丈夫。
As the church is subject to Christ, so let wives also be subject in everything to their husbands.
5:25 你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，正如基督愛教會，為教會捨己。
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
5:26 要用水藉著道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，
that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
5:27 可以獻給自己，作個榮耀的教會，毫無玷污、皺紋等類的病，乃是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。
that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.
5:28 丈夫也當照樣愛妻子，如同愛自己的身子；愛妻子便是愛自己了。
Even so husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
5:29 從來沒有人恨惡自己的身子，總是保養顧惜，正像基督待教會一樣，
For no man ever hates his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, as Christ does the church,
5:30 因我們是他身上的肢體（有古卷加：就是他的骨他的肉）。
because we are members of his body.
5:31 為這個緣故，人要離開父母，與妻子連合，二人成為一體。
"For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."
5:32 這是極大的奧祕，但我是指著基督和教會說的。
This mystery is a profound one, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church;
5:33 然而，你們各人都當愛妻子，如同愛自己一樣。妻子也當敬重她的丈夫。
however, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

經文: 以弗所書 2:8-10 你們得救是本乎恩，也因著信；這並不是出於自己，乃是神所賜的；也不是出於行為，免得有人自誇。我們原是他的工作，在基督耶穌裡造成的，為要叫我們行善，就是神所預備叫我們行的。

默想: 這段經文很清楚的說明，恩典、信心、與行善之間的關係。十字架救贖的恩典是主耶穌基督為我們死在十字架所完成的白白恩典。我們之所以能夠悔改認罪，並且用單純的信心，來相信主耶穌，以領受這個白白的恩典，乃是聖靈在我們心裡做了重生、更新的工作。因此，救恩與信心，都是來自上帝的賞賜，並不是出於人類自己的努力與成就。但是，藉著主耶穌在十字架所完成的代贖性公義 (vicarious righteousness)，以及經由聖靈感動我們內心，相信十字架的福音所完成的恩賜性公義 (imputed righteousness)，是讓我們得到因信稱義 (justification by faith)。這是本於信的恩典。這個恩典要在我們的生命中開始工作，轉化我們的生命 (transformation)，讓我們有動機與動力，活出愛鄰如己與彼此相愛的生命，結出聖靈與福音的果子，這就是善行。這是由信成聖 (sanctification) 的一生學習成長的過程，這是致於信的恩典。求主幫助我，不要只是領受因信稱義的恩典，也要領受由信成聖的恩典。

題目: 基督出死入生，讓外邦人與猶太人，同享上帝的拯救，生命也在基督的生命裡合而為一，如此是上帝的大計畫，試問你是否有份於上主的大計劃？

 

2:1 你們死在過犯罪惡之中，他叫你們活過來。
And you he made alive, when you were dead through the trespasses and sins
2:2 那時，你們在其中行事為人，隨從今世的風俗，順服空中掌權者的首領，就是現今在悖逆之子心中運行的邪靈。
in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience.
2:3 我們從前也都在他們中間，放縱肉體的私慾，隨著肉體和心中所喜好的去行，本為可怒之子，和別人一樣。
Among these we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, following the desires of body and mind, and so we were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.
2:4 然而，　神既有豐富的憐憫，因他愛我們的大愛，
But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us,
2:5 當我們死在過犯中的時候，便叫我們與基督一同活過來。你們得救是本乎恩。
even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
2:6 他又叫我們與基督耶穌一同復活，一同坐在天上，
and raised us up with him, and made us sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
2:7 要將他極豐富的恩典，就是他在基督耶穌裡向我們所施的恩慈，顯明給後來的世代看。
that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
2:8 你們得救是本乎恩，也因著信；這並不是出於自己，乃是　神所賜的；
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God --
2:9 也不是出於行為，免得有人自誇。
not because of works, lest any man should boast.
2:10 我們原是他的工作，在基督耶穌裡造成的，為要叫我們行善，就是　神所預備叫我們行的。
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
2:11 所以你們應當記念：你們從前按肉體是外邦人，是稱為沒受割禮的；這名原是那些憑人手在肉身上稱為受割禮之人所起的。
Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called the uncircumcision by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands --
2:12 那時，你們與基督無關，在以色列國民以外，在所應許的諸約上是局外人，並且活在世上沒有指望，沒有　神。
remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
2:13 你們從前遠離　神的人，如今卻在基督耶穌裡，靠著他的血，已經得親近了。
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near in the blood of Christ.
2:14 因他使我們和睦（原文是因他是我們的和睦），將兩下合而為一，拆毀了中間隔斷的牆；
For he is our peace, who has made us both one, and has broken down the dividing wall of hostility,
2:15 而且以自己的身體廢掉冤仇，就是那記在律法上的規條，為要將兩下藉著自己造成一個新人，如此便成就了和睦。
by abolishing in his flesh the law of commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace,
2:16 既在十字架上滅了冤仇，便藉這十字架使兩下歸為一體，與　神和好了，
and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby bringing the hostility to an end.
2:17 並且來傳和平的福音給你們遠處的人，也給那近處的人。
And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near;
2:18 因為我們兩下藉著他被一個聖靈所感，得以進到父面前。
for through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.
2:19 這樣，你們不再作外人和客旅，是與聖徒同國，是　神家裡的人了；
So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
2:20 並且被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，有基督耶穌自己為房角石，
built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone,
2:21 各（或譯：全）房靠他聯絡得合式，漸漸成為主的聖殿。
in whom the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord;
2:22 你們也靠他同被建造，成為　神藉著聖靈居住的所在。
in whom you also are built into it for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
