經文: 路加福音 7:6-7 耶穌就和他們同去。離那家不遠，百夫長託幾個朋友去見耶穌，對他說：「主啊！不要勞動；因你到我舍下，我不敢當。我也自以為不配去見你，只要你說一句話，我的僕人就必好了。

默想: 這位百夫長應該是羅馬人，他對於生病僕人的愛心，讓我們感動。他對於被他統治的猶太人的愛心，為他們建造會堂，也讓我們感到十分佩服。他對於主耶穌的信心，則是連主耶穌都感到希奇。他深知自己的不配，請託他的好朋有幾位猶太人長老去邀請主耶穌前來醫治他那生病的僕人。當主耶穌與這幾位猶太長老出發要前來醫治百夫長的僕人時，這位百夫長又另外請幾位朋友趕到半路，向主耶穌說，我自知不配去見你，也知到不敢勞駕你那麼老遠的來為我的僕人治病。我深信你有醫病的超能力，可以隔空治病。因此，請你只要說出一句話，我僕人的病就必定會立刻痊癒了。主耶穌說，我告訴你們，這麼大的信心，就是在以色列中，我也沒有遇見過。結果是百夫長的僕人在家裡，病立刻得到痊癒。求主幫助我，能夠學習百夫長對你那麼大的信心，也能學習百夫長的愛心。

題目: 西門與這婦人有著對比的立場，法利賽人西門自覺自己是個好人，反觀這名婦人，不僅視自己為罪人，心中更是感到極度的痛悔，試問，當你來到主耶穌面前時，你會是什麼樣的立場？

7:1 耶穌對百姓講完了這一切的話，就進了迦百農。
After he had ended all his sayings in the hearing of the people he entered Caper'na-um.
7:2 有一個百夫長所寶貴的僕人害病，快要死了。
Now a centurion had a slave who was dear to him, who was sick and at the point of death.
7:3 百夫長風聞耶穌的事，就託猶太人的幾個長老去求耶穌來救他的僕人。
When he heard of Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his slave.
7:4 他們到了耶穌那裡，就切切的求他說：你給他行這事是他所配得的；
And when they came to Jesus, they besought him earnestly, saying, "He is worthy to have you do this for him,
7:5 因為他愛我們的百姓，給我們建造會堂。
for he loves our nation, and he built us our synagogue."
7:6 耶穌就和他們同去。離那家不遠，百夫長託幾個朋友去見耶穌，對他說：主啊！不要勞動；因你到我舍下，我不敢當。
And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, "Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof;
7:7 我也自以為不配去見你，只要你說一句話，我的僕人就必好了。
therefore I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed.
7:8 因為我在人的權下，也有兵在我以下，對這個說：去！他就去；對那個說：來！他就來；對我的僕人說：你作這事！他就去作。
For I am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, `Go,' and he goes; and to another, `Come,' and he comes; and to my slave, `Do this,' and he does it."
7:9 耶穌聽見這話，就希奇他，轉身對跟隨的眾人說：我告訴你們，這麼大的信心，就是在以色列中，我也沒有遇見過。
When Jesus heard this he marveled at him, and turned and said to the multitude that followed him, "I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith."
7:10 那託來的人回到百夫長家裡，看見僕人已經好了。
And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the slave well.
7:11 過了不多時（有古卷：次日），耶穌往一座城去，這城名叫拿因，他的門徒和極多的人與他同行。
Soon afterward he went to a city called Na'in, and his disciples and a great crowd went with him.
7:12 將近城門，有一個死人被抬出來。這人是他母親獨生的兒子；他母親又是寡婦。有城裡的許多人同著寡婦送殯。
As he drew near to the gate of the city, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow; and a large crowd from the city was with her.
7:13 主看見那寡婦，就憐憫她，對她說：不要哭！
And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."
7:14 於是進前按著槓，抬的人就站住了。耶穌說：少年人，我吩咐你，起來！
And he came and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, "Young man, I say to you, arise."
7:15 那死人就坐起，並且說話。耶穌便把他交給他母親。
And the dead man sat up, and began to speak. And he gave him to his mother.
7:16 眾人都驚奇，歸榮耀與　神，說：有大先知在我們中間興起來了！又說：　神眷顧了他的百姓！
Fear seized them all; and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has arisen among us!" and "God has visited his people!"
7:17 他這事的風聲就傳遍了猶太和周圍地方。
And this report concerning him spread through the whole of Judea and all the surrounding country.
7:18 約翰的門徒把這些事都告訴約翰。
The disciples of John told him of all these things.
7:19 他便叫了兩個門徒來，打發他們到主那裡去，說：那將要來的是你嗎？還是我們等候別人呢？
And John, calling to him two of his disciples, sent them to the Lord, saying, "Are you he who is to come, or shall we look for another?"
7:20 那兩個人來到耶穌那裡，說：施洗的約翰打發我們來問你：那將要來的是你嗎？還是我們等候別人呢？
And when the men had come to him, they said, "John the Baptist has sent us to you, saying, `Are you he who is to come, or shall we look for another?'"
7:21 正當那時候，耶穌治好了許多有疾病的，受災患的，被惡鬼附著的，又開恩叫好些瞎子能看見。
In that hour he cured many of diseases and plagues and evil spirits, and on many that were blind he bestowed sight.
7:22 耶穌回答說：你們去，把所看見所聽見的事告訴約翰，就是瞎子看見，瘸子行走，長大痲瘋的潔淨，聾子聽見，死人復活，窮人有福音傳給他們。
And he answered them, "Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them.
7:23 凡不因我跌倒的，就有福了！
And blessed is he who takes no offense at me."
7:24 約翰所差來的人既走了，耶穌就對眾人講論約翰說：你們從前出去到曠野，是要看甚麼呢？要看風吹動的蘆葦麼？
When the messengers of John had gone, he began to speak to the crowds concerning John: "What did you go out into the wilderness to behold? A reed shaken by the wind?
7:25 你們出去，到底是要看甚麼？要看穿細軟衣服的人麼？那穿華麗衣服、宴樂度日的人是在王宮裡。
What then did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft clothing? Behold, those who are gorgeously appareled and live in luxury are in kings' courts.
7:26 你們出去，究竟是要看甚麼？要看先知麼？我告訴你們，是的，他比先知大多了。
What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.
7:27 經上記著說：我要差遣我的使者在你前面預備道路，所說的就是這個人。
This is he of whom it is written, `Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way before thee.'
7:28 我告訴你們，凡婦人所生的，沒有一個大過約翰的；然而　神國裡最小的比他還大。
I tell you, among those born of women none is greater than John; yet he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he."
7:29 眾百姓和稅吏既受過約翰的洗，聽見這話，就以　神為義；
(When they heard this all the people and the tax collectors justified God, having been baptized with the baptism of John;
7:30 但法利賽人和律法師沒有受過約翰的洗，竟為自己廢棄了　神的旨意。（29，30兩節或作：眾百姓和稅吏聽見了約翰的話，就受了他的洗，便以　神為義；但法利賽人和律法師不受約翰的洗，竟為自己廢棄了　神的旨意。）
but the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the purpose of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him.)
7:31 主又說：這樣，我可用甚麼比這世代的人呢？他們好像甚麼呢？
"To what then shall I compare the men of this generation, and what are they like?
7:32 好像孩童坐在街市上，彼此呼叫說：我們向你們吹笛，你們不跳舞；我們向你們舉哀，你們不啼哭。
They are like children sitting in the market place and calling to one another, `We piped to you, and you did not dance; we wailed, and you did not weep.'
7:33 施洗的約翰來，不吃餅，不喝酒，你們說他是被鬼附著的。
For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine; and you say, `He has a demon.'
7:34 人子來，也吃也喝，你們說他是貪食好酒的人，是稅吏和罪人的朋友。
The Son of man has come eating and drinking; and you say, `Behold, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!'
7:35 但智慧之子都以智慧為是。
Yet wisdom is justified by all her children."
7:36 有一個法利賽人請耶穌和他吃飯；耶穌就到法利賽人家裡去坐席。
One of the Pharisees asked him to eat with him, and he went into the Pharisee's house, and took his place at table.
7:37 那城裡有一個女人，是個罪人，知道耶穌在法利賽人家裡坐席，就拿著盛香膏的玉瓶，
And behold, a woman of the city, who was a sinner, when she learned that he was at table in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster flask of ointment,
7:38 站在耶穌背後，挨著他的腳哭，眼淚溼了耶穌的腳，就用自己的頭髮擦乾，又用嘴連連親他的腳，把香膏抹上。
and standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
7:39 請耶穌的法利賽人看見這事，心裡說：這人若是先知，必知道摸他的是誰，是個怎樣的女人，乃是個罪人。
Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is a sinner."
7:40 耶穌對他說：西門！我有句話要對你說。西門說：夫子，請說。
And Jesus answering said to him, "Simon, I have something to say to you." And he answered, "What is it, Teacher?"
7:41 耶穌說：一個債主有兩個人欠他的債；一個欠五十兩銀子，一個欠五兩銀子；
"A certain creditor had two debtors; one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.
7:42 因為他們無力償還，債主就開恩免了他們兩個人的債。這兩個人那一個更愛他呢？
When they could not pay, he forgave them both. Now which of them will love him more?"
7:43 西門回答說：我想是那多得恩免的人。耶穌說：你斷的不錯。
Simon answered, "The one, I suppose, to whom he forgave more." And he said to him, "You have judged rightly."
7:44 於是轉過來向著那女人，便對西門說：你看見這女人嗎？我進了你的家，你沒有給我水洗腳；但這女人用眼淚溼了我的腳，用頭髮擦乾。
Then turning toward the woman he said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I entered your house, you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.
7:45 你沒有與我親嘴；但這女人從我進來的時候就不住的用嘴親我的腳。
You gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she has not ceased to kiss my feet.
7:46 你沒有用油抹我的頭；但這女人用香膏抹我的腳。
You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment.
7:47 所以我告訴你，他許多的罪都赦免了，因為他的愛多；但那赦免少的，他的愛就少。
Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little."
7:48 於是對那女人說：你的罪赦免了。
And he said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."
7:49 同席的人心裡說：這是甚麼人，竟赦免人的罪呢？
Then those who were at table with him began to say among themselves, "Who is this, who even forgives sins?"
7:50 耶穌對那女人說：你的信救了你；平平安安的回去吧！
And he said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."

經文: 路加福音 6:9 耶穌對他們說：「我問你們，在安息日行善行惡，救命害命，那樣是可以的呢？」

默想: 對猶太人來說，安息日是極其神聖的日子。因為這是耶和華在六日創造天地萬物之後，親自設立第七日為安息聖日。(創2:1-3) 連上帝自己都遵守的安息日是何等神聖。當耶和華呼召摩西登上西乃山頂，把親手所刻出的兩片法版傳給摩西時，在有關人與神之間的神聖關係的三條禁忌的誡命之後，緊接的是第一條正命的命令，就是要守安息日為聖日。(出20:8) 摩西為了要確認以色列人會遵守安息日，對於犯安息日的人，定下了唯一死刑的重罰。所以你們要守安息日，以為聖日。凡干犯這日的，必要把他治死；凡在這日做工的，必從民中剪除。(出31:14) 但是，在安息日要完全不作工，在實際上是會有困難的。當安息日有動物不小心掉入坑中，以色列人還是會設法把這知動物給拉了上來。(太12:11) 但是，他們卻禁止在安息日為人治病。主耶穌是提著自己的腦袋瓜來挑戰以色列人有關安息日禁祭之反人道規則。求主幫助我，在堅持規則的同時，也會學習主耶穌的榜樣，以愛心考慮特殊情況的需要而有彈性。

題目: 世人看為不幸的人，主耶穌卻稱他們為有福的；世人看為有福的人，主耶穌卻對他們說有禍了。試想，對於耶穌衡量的標準你有何看法？ (v20-26)

6:1 有一個安息日，耶穌從麥地經過。他的門徒掐了麥穗，用手搓著吃。
On a sabbath, while he was going through the grainfields, his disciples plucked and ate some heads of grain, rubbing them in their hands.
6:2 有幾個法利賽人說：你們為甚麼作安息日不可作的事呢？
But some of the Pharisees said, "Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the sabbath?"
6:3 耶穌對他們說：經上記著大衛和跟從他的人飢餓之時所作的事，連這個你們也沒有念過嗎？
And Jesus answered, "Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:
6:4 他怎麼進了　神的殿，拿陳設餅吃，又給跟從的人吃？這餅除了祭司以外，別人都不可吃。
how he entered the house of God, and took and ate the bread of the Presence, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and also gave it to those with him?"
6:5 又對他們說：人子是安息日的主。
And he said to them, "The Son of man is lord of the sabbath."
6:6 又有一個安息日，耶穌進了會堂教訓人，在那裡有一個人右手枯乾了。
On another sabbath, when he entered the synagogue and taught, a man was there whose right hand was withered.
6:7 文士和法利賽人窺探耶穌，在安息日治病不治病，要得把柄去告他。
And the scribes and the Pharisees watched him, to see whether he would heal on the sabbath, so that they might find an accusation against him.
6:8 耶穌卻知道他們的意念，就對那枯乾一隻手的人說：起來！站在當中。那人就起來，站著。
But he knew their thoughts, and he said to the man who had the withered hand, "Come and stand here." And he rose and stood there.
6:9 耶穌對他們說：我問你們，在安息日行善行惡，救命害命，那樣，是可以的呢？
And Jesus said to them, "I ask you, is it lawful on the sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to destroy it?"
6:10 他就周圍看著他們眾人，對那人說：伸出手來！他把手一伸，手就復原了。
And he looked around on them all, and said to him, "Stretch out your hand." And he did so, and his hand was restored.
6:11 他們就滿心大怒，彼此商議怎樣處治耶穌。
But they were filled with fury and discussed with one another what they might do to Jesus.
6:12 那時，耶穌出去，上山禱告，整夜禱告　神；
In these days he went out to the mountain to pray; and all night he continued in prayer to God.
6:13 到了天亮，叫他的門徒來，就從他們中間挑選十二個人，稱他們為使徒。
And when it was day, he called his disciples, and chose from them twelve, whom he named apostles;
6:14 這十二個人有西門，耶穌又給他起名叫彼得，還有他兄弟安得烈，又有雅各和約翰，腓力和巴多羅買，
Simon, whom he named Peter, and Andrew his brother, and James and John, and Philip, and Bartholomew,
6:15 馬太和多馬，亞勒腓的兒子雅各和奮銳黨的西門，
and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot,
6:16 雅各的兒子（或作：兄弟）猶大，和賣主的加略人猶大。
and Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
6:17 耶穌和他們下了山，站在一塊平地上；同站的有許多門徒，又有許多百姓，從猶太全地和耶路撒冷，並泰爾、西頓的海邊來，都要聽他講道，又指望醫治他們的病；
And he came down with them and stood on a level place, with a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases;
6:18 還有被污鬼纏磨的，也得了醫治。
and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured.
6:19 眾人都想要摸他；因為有能力從他身上發出來，醫好了他們。
And all the crowd sought to touch him, for power came forth from him and healed them all.
6:20 耶穌舉目看著門徒，說：你們貧窮的人有福了！因為　神的國是你們的。
And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said: "Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.
6:21 你們飢餓的人有福了！因為你們將要飽足。你們哀哭的人有福了！因為你們將要喜笑。
"Blessed are you that hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. "Blessed are you that weep now, for you shall laugh.
6:22 人為人子恨惡你們，拒絕你們，辱罵你們，棄掉你們的名，以為是惡，你們就有福了！
"Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude you and revile you, and cast out your name as evil, on account of the Son of man!
6:23 當那日，你們要歡喜跳躍，因為你們在天上的賞賜是大的。他們的祖宗待先知也是這樣。
Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets.
6:24 但你們富足的人有禍了！因為你們受過你們的安慰。
"But woe to you that are rich, for you have received your consolation.
6:25 你們飽足的人有禍了！因為你們將要飢餓。你們喜笑的人有禍了！因為你們將要哀慟哭泣。
"Woe to you that are full now, for you shall hunger. "Woe to you that laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep.
6:26 人都說你們好的時候，你們就有禍了！因為他們的祖宗待假先知也是這樣。
"Woe to you, when all men speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets.
6:27 只是我告訴你們這聽道的人，你們的仇敵，要愛他！恨你們的，要待他好！
"But I say to you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
6:28 咒詛你們的，要為他祝福！凌辱你們的，要為他禱告！
bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
6:29 有人打你這邊的臉，連那邊的臉也由他打。有人奪你的外衣，連裡衣也由他拿去。
To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from him who takes away your coat do not withhold even your shirt.
6:30 凡求你的，就給他。有人奪你的東西去，不用再要回來。
Give to every one who begs from you; and of him who takes away your goods do not ask them again.
6:31 你們願意人怎樣待你們，你們也要怎樣待人。
And as you wish that men would do to you, do so to them.
6:32 你們若單愛那愛你們的人，有甚麼可酬謝的呢？就是罪人也愛那愛他們的人。
"If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
6:33 你們若善待那善待你們的人，有甚麼可酬謝的呢？就是罪人也是這樣行。
And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
6:34 你們若借給人，指望從他收回，有甚麼可酬謝的呢？就是罪人也借給罪人，要如數收回。
And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
6:35 你們倒要愛仇敵，也要善待他們，並要借給人不指望償還，你們的賞賜就必大了，你們也必作至高者的兒子；因為他恩待那忘恩的和作惡的。
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the selfish.
6:36 你們要慈悲，像你們的父慈悲一樣。
Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
6:37 你們不要論斷人，就不被論斷；你們不要定人的罪，就不被定罪；你們要饒恕人，就必蒙饒恕（饒恕：原文作釋放）；
"Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;
6:38 你們要給人，就必有給你們的，並且用十足的升斗，連搖帶按，上尖下流的倒在你們懷裡；因為你們用甚麼量器量給人，也必用甚麼量器量給你們。
give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For the measure you give will be the measure you get back."
6:39 耶穌又用比喻對他們說：瞎子豈能領瞎子，兩個人不是都要掉在坑裡嗎？
He also told them a parable: "Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit?
6:40 學生不能高過先生；凡學成了的不過和先生一樣。
A disciple is not above his teacher, but every one when he is fully taught will be like his teacher.
6:41 為甚麼看見你弟兄眼中有刺，卻不想自己眼中有梁木呢？
Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
6:42 你不見自己眼中有梁木，怎能對你弟兄說：容我去掉你眼中的刺呢？你這假冒為善的人！先去掉自己眼中的梁木，然後才能看得清楚，去掉你弟兄眼中的刺。
Or how can you say to your brother, `Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye.
6:43 因為，沒有好樹結壞果子，也沒有壞樹結好果子。
"For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit;
6:44 凡樹木看果子，就可以認出它來。人不是從荊棘上摘無花果，也不是從蒺藜裡摘葡萄。
for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thorns, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush.
6:45 善人從他心裡所存的善就發出善來；惡人從他心裡所存的惡就發出惡來；因為心裡所充滿的，口裡就說出來。
The good man out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil man out of his evil treasure produces evil; for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
6:46 你們為甚麼稱呼我主啊，主啊，卻不遵我的話行呢？
"Why do you call me `Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you?
6:47 凡到我這裡來，聽見我的話就去行的，我要告訴你們他像甚麼人：
Every one who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like:
6:48 他像一個人蓋房子，深深的挖地，把根基安在磐石上；到發大水的時候，水沖那房子，房子總不能搖動，因為根基立在磐石上（有古卷：因為蓋造得好）。
he is like a man building a house, who dug deep, and laid the foundation upon rock; and when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house, and could not shake it, because it had been well built.
6:49 惟有聽見不去行的，就像一個人在土地上蓋房子，沒有根基；水一沖，隨即倒塌了，並且那房子壞的很大。
But he who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation; against which the stream broke, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great."

W5 2012-03-16經文: 路加福音 5:5-9 西門說：夫子，我們整夜勞力，並沒有打著什麼。但依從你的話，我就下網。他們下了網，就圈住許多魚，網險些裂開，便招呼那隻船上的同伴來幫助。他們就來，把魚裝滿了兩隻船，甚至船要沉下去。西門彼得看見，就俯伏在耶穌膝前，說：主啊！離開我，我是個罪人！他和一切同在的人都驚訝這一網所打的魚。

�文: 路加福音 5:5-9 西��：夫子，我�整夜�力，��有打著什�。但依�你的�，我就下�。他�下了�，就圈住�多�，��些裂�，便招呼那�船上的同伴��助。他�就�，把��了��船，甚至船要沉下去。西�彼得看�，就俯伏在耶�膝前，�：主啊！��我，我是�罪人！他和一切同在的人都��一�所打的�。

默想: 主耶�先�西�彼得�忙，借用西�的�船作��的��，�船上教��人。�束之後，主耶�想要回�彼得的�忙，就建�西�彼得，把船�到水深之�，下�打�。西�彼得可是俱有多年捕��的老�夫，�且在昨天晚上忙了整夜。�什麽�也�有�到。�在是大白天，岸�又聚集了�一大群吵�的人群，更是不可能打到什��了。主耶�的��是一�木匠，要�作牛�，他可能有一手好工夫，主耶�也是一位很有口才的拉比，要教�天�的道理，可能可以感��多人。但是，就打��件事��，隔行如隔山，主耶�怎��不尊重��，��界了。彼得的心��然如此嘀嘀咕咕的，嘴吧�向主耶��，拉比啊，我��群��夫昨晚忙了整夜，��一尾�都��到，您先生�在大白天�教我�要把船�到水深之�，下�打�。由於您是大家所尊重的拉比，我也不好��拆您的�，�您�看，反正我今天也�啥事好�，就姑且�著您的建�，再下一次�吧！彼得��有想到，他的��不很尊重的�度，��有激怒主耶�，他更�有想到，�子一下湖�，就�到一大群�，多到��乎要裂�，拉都拉不上�，船也快要沉下去。�快招呼也在附近打�的雅各�翰，把他�的船靠��，��船上的�夫手忙��的，好不容易才��一大群�打�上岸。大家都很�奇，也很高�。但是，西�彼得�在�一大堆�的�中，看到自己的罪。彼得�忙跪到主耶�面前�，求主��我，因�我是�罪人。彼得的罪就是小信的罪，在他的心目中，主耶�只不�是一�有教�恩�的拉比。但是�一大�的�，�彼得看到主耶�超然的位格，以及自己�於主耶�的不信�不敬。他深深感到，自己是不配跟�主的，因此，�主耶��他。但是，主耶��接�彼得的�弱，也��彼得的�罪悔改。主耶�不只�有��彼得，�呼召彼得�跟�他，主耶�要�化彼得生命的�值�系，�彼得成�得人如得�的�夫。求主也赦免我信心的不足，求主也�化我人生的�值。

�目: 耶�第一次在革尼撒勒湖��完道，要西�把船划到水深之�，然後撒�打�，西��：「老�……；既然你��，我就撒�吧！」��我�若想遇�神�，是否也�照上主的吩咐，��那�我�看起�不可能的事？

5:1 耶�站在革尼撒勒湖�，�人��他，要�　神的道。
While the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he was standing by the lake of Gennes'aret.
5:2 他�有��船�在湖�；打�的人��船洗�去了。
And he saw two boats by the lake; but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets.
5:3 有一�船是西�的，耶�就上去，�他把船��，稍微�岸，就坐下，�船上教��人。
Getting into one of the boats, which was Simon's, he asked him to put out a little from the land. And he sat down and taught the people from the boat.
5:4 �完了，�西��：把船�到水深之�，下�打�。
And when he had ceased speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."
5:5 西��：夫子，我�整夜�力，��有打著甚�。但依�你的�，我就下�。
And Simon answered, "Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets."
5:6 他�下了�，就圈住�多�，��些裂�，
And when they had done this, they enclosed a great shoal of fish; and as their nets were breaking,
5:7 便招呼那�船上的同伴��助。他�就�，把��了��船，甚至船要沉下去。
they beckoned to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.
5:8 西�彼得看�，就俯伏在耶�膝前，�：主啊！��我，我是�罪人！
But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord."
5:9 他和一切同在的人都��一�所打的�。
For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the catch of fish which they had taken;
5:10 他的夥伴西庇太的�子雅各、�翰，也是��。耶��西��：不要怕！�今以後，你要得人了。
and so also were James and John, sons of Zeb'edee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid; henceforth you will be catching men."
5:11 他�把��船�了岸，就撇下所有的，跟�了耶�。
And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed him.
5:12 有一回，耶�在一�城�，有人�身�了大��，看�他，就俯伏在地，求他�：主若肯，必能叫我��了。
While he was in one of the cities, there came a man full of leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and besought him, "Lord, if you will, you can make me clean."
5:13 耶�伸手摸他，�：我肯，你��了吧！大��立刻就�了他的身。
And he stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I will; be clean." And immediately the leprosy left him.
5:14 耶��咐他：你切不可告�人，只要去把身��祭司察看，又要�你得了��，照摩西所吩咐的�上�物，��人作��。
And he charged him to tell no one; but "go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, for a proof to the people."
5:15 但耶�的名�越��出去。有�多的人聚集��道，也指望�治他�的病。
But so much the more the report went abroad concerning him; and great multitudes gathered to hear and to be healed of their infirmities.
5:16 耶��退到�野去�告。
But he withdrew to the wilderness and prayed.
5:17 有一天，耶�教�人，有法利�人和教法�在旁�坐著；他�是�加利利各�村和�太�耶路撒冷�的。主的能力�耶�同在，使他能�治病人。
On one of those days, as he was teaching, there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was with him to heal.
5:18 有人用褥子抬著一��子，要抬�去放在耶�面前，
And behold, men were bringing on a bed a man who was paralyzed, and they sought to bring him in and lay him before Jesus;
5:19 �因人多，�不出法子抬�去，就上了房�，�瓦�把他�褥子�到�中，正在耶�面前。
but finding no way to bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles into the midst before Jesus.
5:20 耶��他�的信心，就��子�：你的罪赦了。
And when he saw their faith he said, "Man, your sins are forgiven you."
5:21 文士和法利�人就��：��僭妄�的是�？除了　神以外，�能赦罪呢？
And the scribes and the Pharisees began to question, saying, "Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God only?"
5:22 耶�知道他�所��的，就�：你�心��的是甚�呢？
When Jesus perceived their questionings, he answered them, "Why do you question in your hearts?
5:23 或�你的罪赦了，或�你起�行走，那一�容易呢？
Which is easier, to say, `Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, `Rise and walk'?
5:24 但要叫你�知道，人子在地上有赦罪的�柄。就��子�：我吩咐你，起�，拿你的褥子回家去吧！
But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins" -- he said to the man who was paralyzed -- "I say to you, rise, take up your bed and go home."
5:25 那人��人面前立刻起�，拿著他所躺�的褥子回家去，��耀�　神。
And immediately he rose before them, and took up that on which he lay, and went home, glorifying God.
5:26 �人都�奇，也��耀�　神，�且�心�怕，�：我�今日看�非常的事了。
And amazement seized them all, and they glorified God and were filled with awe, saying, "We have seen strange things today."
5:27 �事以後，耶�出去，看�一��吏，名叫利未，坐在��上，就�他�：你跟�我�。
After this he went out, and saw a tax collector, named Levi, sitting at the tax office; and he said to him, "Follow me."
5:28 他就撇下所有的，起�，跟�了耶�。
And he left everything, and rose and followed him.
5:29 利未在自己家��耶�大�筵席，有�多�吏和�人�他�一同坐席。
And Levi made him a great feast in his house; and there was a large company of tax collectors and others sitting at table with them.
5:30 法利�人和文士就向耶�的�徒�怨言�：你��甚�和�吏�罪人一同吃喝呢？
And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured against his disciples, saying, "Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?"
5:31 耶��他��：�病的人用不著�生；有病的人才用得著。
And Jesus answered them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick;
5:32 我�本不是召�人悔改，乃是召罪人悔改。
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
5:33 他��：�翰的�徒�次禁食祈�，法利�人的�徒也是��；惟�你的�徒又吃又喝。
And they said to him, "The disciples of John fast often and offer prayers, and so do the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink."
5:34 耶��他��：新郎和陪伴之人同在的�候，�能叫陪伴之人禁食呢？
And Jesus said to them, "Can you make wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them?
5:35 但日子�到，新郎要��他�，那日他�就要禁食了。
The days will come, when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days."
5:36 耶�又�一�比喻，�他��：�有人把新衣服撕下一��在�衣服上；若是��，就把新的撕破了，�且所撕下�的那�新的和�的也不相�。
He told them a parable also: "No one tears a piece from a new garment and puts it upon an old garment; if he does, he will tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old.
5:37 也�有人把新酒�在�皮袋�；若是��，新酒必�皮袋裂�，酒便漏出�，皮袋也就�了。
And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed.
5:38 但新酒必��在新皮袋�。
But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.
5:39 �有人喝了�酒又想喝新的；他��的好。
And no one after drinking old wine desires new; for he says, `The old is good.'"

經文: 路加福音 4:5-8 魔鬼又領他上了高山，霎時間把天下的萬國都指給他看，對他說：這一切權柄、榮華，我都要給你，因為這原是交付我的，我願意給誰就給誰。你若在我面前下拜，這都要歸你。耶穌說：經上記著說：當拜主你的神，單要事奉他。

默想: 主耶穌在出來侍奉之前，被聖靈帶領前往曠野，接受撒但魔鬼的試探。三個試探當中，第一個試探是濫用上帝所賞賜的恩典，來解決生存的需要，而忘記全心仰賴耶和華。第二個試探則是為了得到世界的名利，而願意與撒但妥協。第三個試探是誤用上帝的話語，來試探上帝。根據撒但向主耶穌的聲明，這世界的名利，是上帝已經交付給撒但了，撒但有權利決定要賞賜給誰。撒但只願意將世上的名利賞賜給那些願意向他下拜的人。這個試探，就像歌劇浮士德與魔鬼中所描述的劇情一樣。我們常常為了得到今生的名利地位，而向魔鬼撒但妥協屈服，不能堅守上帝所賞賜給我們的生活原則，以致於我們雖然賺到了全世界，卻失喪了自己的靈魂，這又有什麼益處呢？求主保守我，能夠這一生堅守上帝所賞賜的生活原則，絕對不與魔鬼撒但妥協。

題目: 耶穌所受三個如此不尋常的試探，乃因他是具有能力行異能的人。但是，祂卻選擇完全不受誘惑，試問，當試探來到時，我們會如何選擇？

4:1 耶穌被聖靈充滿，從約旦河回來，聖靈將他引到曠野，四十天受魔鬼的試探。
And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan, and was led by the Spirit
4:2 那些日子沒有吃甚麼；日子滿了，他就餓了。
for forty days in the wilderness, tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing in those days; and when they were ended, he was hungry.
4:3 魔鬼對他說：你若是　神的兒子，可以吩咐這塊石頭變成食物。
The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread."
4:4 耶穌回答說：經上記著說：人活著不是單靠食物，乃是靠　神口裡所出的一切話。
And Jesus answered him, "It is written, `Man shall not live by bread alone.'"
4:5 魔鬼又領他上了高山，霎時間把天下的萬國都指給他看，
And the devil took him up, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time,
4:6 對他說：這一切權柄、榮華，我都要給你，因為這原是交付我的，我願意給誰就給誰。
and said to him, "To you I will give all this authority and their glory; for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will.
4:7 你若在我面前下拜，這都要歸你。
If you, then, will worship me, it shall all be yours."
4:8 耶穌說：經上記著說：當拜主─你的　神，單要事奉他。
And Jesus answered him, "It is written, `You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.'"
4:9 魔鬼又領他到耶路撒冷去，叫他站在殿頂（頂：原文是翅）上，對他說：你若是　神的兒子，可以從這裡跳下去；
And he took him to Jerusalem, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here;
4:10 因為經上記著說：主要為你吩咐他的使者保護你；
for it is written, `He will give his angels charge of you, to guard you,'
4:11 他們要用手托著你，免得你的腳碰在石頭上。
and `On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.'"
4:12 耶穌對他說：經上說：不可試探主─你的　神。
And Jesus answered him, "It is said, `You shall not tempt the Lord your God.'"
4:13 魔鬼用完了各樣的試探，就暫時離開耶穌。
And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time.
4:14 耶穌滿有聖靈的能力，回到加利利；他的名聲就傳遍了四方。
And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and a report concerning him went out through all the surrounding country.
4:15 他在各會堂裡教訓人，眾人都稱讚他。
And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.
4:16 耶穌來到拿撒勒，就是他長大的地方。在安息日，照他平常的規矩進了會堂，站起來要念聖經。
And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up; and he went to the synagogue, as his custom was, on the sabbath day. And he stood up to read;
4:17 有人把先知以賽亞的書交給他，他就打開，找到一處寫著說：
and there was given to him the book of the prophet Isaiah. He opened the book and found the place where it was written,
4:18 主的靈在我身上，因為他用膏膏我，叫我傳福音給貧窮的人；差遣我報告：被擄的得釋放，瞎眼的得看見，叫那受壓制的得自由，
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,
4:19 報告　神悅納人的禧年。
to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."
4:20 於是把書捲起來，交還執事，就坐下。會堂裡的人都定睛看他。
And he closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant, and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him.
4:21 耶穌對他們說：今天這經應驗在你們耳中了。
And he began to say to them, "Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing."
4:22 眾人都稱讚他，並希奇他口中所出的恩言；又說：這不是約瑟的兒子嗎？
And all spoke well of him, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth; and they said, "Is not this Joseph's son?"
4:23 耶穌對他們說：你們必引這俗語向我說：醫生，你醫治自己吧！我們聽見你在迦百農所行的事，也當行在你自己家鄉裡；
And he said to them, "Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb, `Physician, heal yourself; what we have heard you did at Caper'na-um, do here also in your own country.'"
4:24 又說：我實在告訴你們，沒有先知在自己家鄉被人悅納的。
And he said, "Truly, I say to you, no prophet is acceptable in his own country.
4:25 我對你們說實話，當以利亞的時候，天閉塞了三年零六個月，遍地有大饑荒，那時，以色列中有許多寡婦，
But in truth, I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Eli'jah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when there came a great famine over all the land;
4:26 以利亞並沒有奉差往她們一個人那裡去，只奉差往西頓的撒勒法一個寡婦那裡去。
and Eli'jah was sent to none of them but only to Zar'ephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.
4:27 先知以利沙的時候，以色列中有許多長大痲瘋的，但內中除了敘利亞國的乃縵，沒有一個得潔淨的。
And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Eli'sha; and none of them was cleansed, but only Na'aman the Syrian."
4:28 會堂裡的人聽見這話，都怒氣滿胸，
When they heard this, all in the synagogue were filled with wrath.
4:29 就起來攆他出城，他們的城造在山上；他們帶他到山崖，要把他推下去。
And they rose up and put him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw him down headlong.
4:30 他卻從他們中間直行，過去了。
But passing through the midst of them he went away.
4:31 耶穌下到迦百農，就是加利利的一座城，在安息日教訓眾人。
And he went down to Caper'na-um, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the sabbath;
4:32 他們很希奇他的教訓，因為他的話裡有權柄。
and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with authority.
4:33 在會堂裡有一個人，被污鬼的精氣附著，大聲喊叫說：
And in the synagogue there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud voice,
4:34 唉！拿撒勒的耶穌，我們與你有甚麼相干？你來滅我們麼？我知道你是誰，乃是　神的聖者。
"Ah! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God."
4:35 耶穌責備他說：不要作聲，從這人身上出來吧！鬼把那人摔倒在眾人中間，就出來了，卻也沒有害他。
But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be silent, and come out of him!" And when the demon had thrown him down in the midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm.
4:36 眾人都驚訝，彼此對問說：這是甚麼道理呢？因為他用權柄能力吩咐污鬼，污鬼就出來。
And they were all amazed and said to one another, "What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out."
4:37 於是耶穌的名聲傳遍了周圍地方。
And reports of him went out into every place in the surrounding region.
4:38 耶穌出了會堂，進了西門的家。西門的岳母害熱病甚重，有人為她求耶穌。
And he arose and left the synagogue, and entered Simon's house. Now Simon's mother-in-law was ill with a high fever, and they besought him for her.
4:39 耶穌站在他旁邊，斥責那熱病，熱就退了。他立刻起來服事他們。
And he stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her; and immediately she rose and served them.
4:40 日落的時候，凡有病人的，不論害甚麼病，都帶到耶穌那裡。耶穌按手在他們各人身上，醫好他們。
Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to him; and he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them.
4:41 又有鬼從好些人身上出來，喊著說：你是　神的兒子。耶穌斥責他們，不許他們說話。因為他們知道他是基督。
And demons also came out of many, crying, "You are the Son of God!" But he rebuked them, and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.
4:42 天亮的時候，耶穌出來，走到曠野地方。眾人去找他，到了他那裡，要留住他，不要他離開他們。
And when it was day he departed and went into a lonely place. And the people sought him and came to him, and would have kept him from leaving them;
4:43 但耶穌對他們說：我也必須在別城傳　神國的福音，因我奉差原是為此。
but he said to them, "I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other cities also; for I was sent for this purpose."
4:44 於是耶穌在加利利的各會堂傳道。
And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea.

默想: 施洗約翰是主耶穌口中最偉大，也是最後的一位先知。施洗約翰最主要的使命，是預備人心，好讓人們可以比較平順容易的接近主耶穌。這正是福音預工的使命，也是我們每一個人一生的使命。施洗約翰願意被上帝差派到曠野地去呼喊，求主也賞賜給我，一顆願意被你差派的心志，不管是繁華都市，或是高山叢林，只要是你的差遣，我就願意前往。約翰只做一件事，就是預備主的道，修直他的路。這就像在台灣東海岸那懸崖峭壁，彎彎曲曲、高高低低的海岸，要開出一條高速公路一樣。是很大的挑戰。一切山窪都要填滿，大小山崗都要削平！要截彎取直，要削高填窪，好讓凡有血氣的，都能看見上帝救贖的恩典。求主幫助我，也能這一生都認真從事福音預工的使命與呼召。我們蒙召，不是要拯救世人，乃是要預備人心，好讓他們能夠親近耶穌，得到主耶穌的救恩。

題目: 施洗約翰傳講「悔改」的信息，因對象的不同，他要求的內容也有異。試想，假若施洗約翰今日向你傳講「悔改」的信息，會因你所扮演的角色，而要求什麼「悔改」的內容？

3:1 凱撒提庇留在位第十五年，本丟彼拉多作猶太巡撫，希律作加利利分封的王，他兄弟腓力作以土利亞和特拉可尼地方分封的王，呂撒聶作亞比利尼分封的王，
In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiber'i-us Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of the region of Iturae'a and Trachoni'tis, and Lysa'ni-as tetrarch of Abile'ne,
3:2 亞那和該亞法作大祭司。那時，撒迦利亞的兒子約翰在曠野裡，　神的話臨到他。
in the high-priesthood of Annas and Ca'iaphas, the word of God came to John the son of Zechari'ah in the wilderness;
3:3 他就來到約旦河一帶地方，宣講悔改的洗禮，使罪得赦。
and he went into all the region about the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
3:4 正如先知以賽亞書上所記的話，說：在曠野有人聲喊著說：預備主的道，修直他的路！
As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
3:5 一切山窪都要填滿；大小山岡都要削平！彎彎曲曲的地方要改為正直；高高低低的道路要改為平坦！
Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low, and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;
3:6 凡有血氣的，都要見　神的救恩！
and all flesh shall see the salvation of God."
3:7 約翰對那出來要受他洗的眾人說：毒蛇的種類！誰指示你們逃避將來的忿怒呢？
He said therefore to the multitudes that came out to be baptized by him, "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
3:8 你們要結出果子來，與悔改的心相稱。不要自己心裡說：有亞伯拉罕為我們的祖宗。我告訴你們，　神能從這些石頭中，給亞伯拉罕興起子孫來。
Bear fruits that befit repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, `We have Abraham as our father'; for I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children to Abraham.
3:9 現在斧子已經放在樹根上，凡不結好果子的樹就砍下來，丟在火裡。
Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees; every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."
3:10 眾人問他說：這樣，我們當作甚麼呢？
And the multitudes asked him, "What then shall we do?"
3:11 約翰回答說：有兩件衣裳的，就分給那沒有的；有食物的，也當這樣行。
And he answered them, "He who has two coats, let him share with him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise."
3:12 又有稅吏來要受洗，問他說：夫子，我們當作甚麼呢？
Tax collectors also came to be baptized, and said to him, "Teacher, what shall we do?"
3:13 約翰說：除了例定的數目，不要多取。
And he said to them, "Collect no more than is appointed you."
3:14 又有兵丁問他說：我們當當作甚麼呢？約翰說：不要以強暴待人，也不要訛詐人，自己有錢糧就當知足。
Soldiers also asked him, "And we, what shall we do?" And he said to them, "Rob no one by violence or by false accusation, and be content with your wages."
3:15 百姓指望基督來的時候，人都心裡猜疑，或者約翰是基督。
As the people were in expectation, and all men questioned in their hearts concerning John, whether perhaps he were the Christ,
3:16 約翰說：我是用水給你們施洗，但有一位能力比我更大的要來，我就是給他解鞋帶也不配。他要用聖靈與火給你們施洗。
John answered them all, "I baptize you with water; but he who is mightier than I is coming, the thong of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie; he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
3:17 他手裡拿著簸箕，要揚淨他的場，把麥子收在倉裡，把糠用不滅的火燒盡了。
His winnowing fork is in his hand, to clear his threshing floor, and to gather the wheat into his granary, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire."
3:18 約翰又用許多別的話勸百姓，向他們傳福音。
So, with many other exhortations, he preached good news to the people.
3:19 只是分封的王希律，因他兄弟之妻希羅底的緣故，並因他所行的一切惡事，受了約翰的責備；
But Herod the tetrarch, who had been reproved by him for Hero'di-as, his brother's wife, and for all the evil things that Herod had done,
3:20 又另外添了一件，就是把約翰收在監裡。
added this to them all, that he shut up John in prison.
3:21 眾百姓都受了洗，耶穌也受了洗。正禱告的時候，天就開了，
Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened,
3:22 聖靈降臨在他身上，形狀彷彿鴿子；又有聲音從天上來，說：你是我的愛子，我喜悅你。
and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form, as a dove, and a voice came from heaven, "Thou art my beloved Son; with thee I am well pleased."
3:23 耶穌開頭傳道，年紀約有三十歲。依人看來，他是約瑟的兒子；約瑟是希里的兒子；
Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty years of age, being the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli,
3:24 希里是瑪塔的兒子；瑪塔是利未的兒子；利未是麥基的兒子；麥基是雅拿的兒子；雅拿是約瑟的兒子；
the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Melchi, the son of Jan'na-i, the son of Joseph,
3:25 約瑟是瑪他提亞的兒子；瑪他提亞是亞摩斯的兒子；亞摩斯是拿鴻的兒子；拿鴻是以斯利的兒子；以斯利是拿該的兒子；
the son of Mattathi'as, the son of Amos, the son of Nahum, the son of Esli, the son of Nag'ga-i,
3:26 拿該是瑪押的兒子；瑪押是瑪他提亞的兒子；瑪他提亞是西美的兒子；西美是約瑟的兒子；約瑟是猶大的兒子；猶大是約亞拿的兒子；
the son of Ma'ath, the son of Mattathi'as, the son of Sem'e-in, the son of Josech, the son of Joda,
3:27 約亞拿是利撒的兒子；利撒是所羅巴伯的兒子；所羅巴伯是撒拉鐵的兒子；撒拉鐵是尼利的兒子；尼利是麥基的兒子；

經文: 路加福音 2:7 就生了頭胎的兒子，用布包起來，放在馬槽裡，因為客店裡沒有地方。

默想: 當主耶穌為了要拯救我們脫離罪惡的捆綁而降生為人時，他所遭遇的，是一個不十分接納的環境。主耶穌降生在客店的馬槽裡，因為客店裡沒有地方。當我們在公車或捷運上面看到一個大腹便便的孕腹上車時，我們會起身讓座。可是當年在伯利恆的客店中，住滿了旅客，當他們看見馬利亞臨盆時，竟然連一個旅客願意把一個地方讓給馬利亞也沒有。這也成為牧羊人要確定那位嬰孩就是天使所說的救主與主基督的耶穌的最重要記號。天使說，你們要看見一個嬰孩，包著布，臥在馬槽裡，那就是記號了。親愛的主啊！整個宇宙是你與天父所共同創造的，但是當你到自己的地方來，自己的人卻不接納你。主啊！當你願意前來住在我的心中時，我的心也常常向你掛出客滿的牌子，沒有地方來迎接你。求主赦免。求主幫助我，在我非常煩忙的生活當中，能夠挪出時空，好迎接你進入我的心中。

題目: 當上主要向人類宣佈創世以來最大的好消息時，最先是向當時的人們眼中看為極低賤，且不能履行宗教儀儀的牧羊人顯現。試想，神的救恩，是否也如同這樣，臨到每一個平凡的我們？

2:1 當那些日子，凱撒亞古士督有旨意下來，叫天下人民都報名上冊。
In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be enrolled.
2:2 這是居里扭作敘利亞巡撫的時候，頭一次行報名上冊的事。
This was the first enrollment, when Quirin'i-us was governor of Syria.
2:3 眾人各歸各城，報名上冊。
And all went to be enrolled, each to his own city.
2:4 約瑟也從加利利的拿撒勒城上猶太去，到了大衛的城，名叫伯利恆，因他本是大衛一族一家的人，
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,
2:5 要和他所聘之妻馬利亞一同報名上冊。那時馬利亞的身孕已經重了。
to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child.
2:6 他們在那裡的時候，馬利亞的產期到了，
And while they were there, the time came for her to be delivered.
2:7 就生了頭胎的兒子，用布包起來，放在馬槽裡，因為客店裡沒有地方。
And she gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
2:8 在伯利恆之野地裡有牧羊的人，夜間按著更次看守羊群。
And in that region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
2:9 有主的使者站在他們旁邊，主的榮光四面照著他們；牧羊的人就甚懼怕。
And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear.
2:10 那天使對他們說：不要懼怕！我報給你們大喜的信息，是關乎萬民的；
And the angel said to them, "Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people;
2:11 因今天在大衛的城裡，為你們生了救主，就是主基督。
for to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
2:12 你們要看見一個嬰孩，包著布，臥在馬槽裡，那就是記號了。
And this will be a sign for you: you will find a babe wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger."
2:13 忽然，有一大隊天兵同那天使讚美　神說：
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
2:14 在至高之處榮耀歸與　神！在地上平安歸與他所喜悅的人（有古卷作：喜悅歸與人）！
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased!"
2:15 眾天使離開他們，升天去了。牧羊的人彼此說：我們往伯利恆去，看看所成的事，就是主所指示我們的。
When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us."
2:16 他們急忙去了，就尋見馬利亞和約瑟，又有那嬰孩臥在馬槽裡；
And they went with haste, and found Mary and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
2:17 既然看見，就把天使論這孩子的話傳開了。
And when they saw it they made known the saying which had been told them concerning this child;
2:18 凡聽見的，就詫異牧羊之人對他們所說的話。
and all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them.
2:19 馬利亞卻把這一切的事存在心裡，反覆思想。
But Mary kept all these things, pondering them in her heart.
2:20 牧羊的人回去了，因所聽見所看見的一切事，正如天使向他們所說的，就歸榮耀與　神，讚美他。
And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.
2:21 滿了八天，就給孩子行割禮，與他起名叫耶穌；這就是沒有成胎以前，天使所起的名。
And at the end of eight days, when he was circumcised, he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
2:22 按摩西律法滿了潔淨的日子，他們帶著孩子上耶路撒冷去，要把他獻與主。
And when the time came for their purification according to the law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord
2:23 正如主的律法上所記：凡頭生的男子必稱聖歸主；
(as it is written in the law of the Lord, "Every male that opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord")
2:24 又要照主的律法上所說，或用一對斑鳩，或用兩隻雛鴿獻祭。
and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in the law of the Lord, "a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons."
2:25 在耶路撒冷有一個人，名叫西面；這人又公義又虔誠，素常盼望以色列的安慰者來到，又有聖靈在他身上。
Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
2:26 他得了聖靈的啟示，知道自己未死以前，必看見主所立的基督。
And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ.
2:27 他受了聖靈的感動，進入聖殿，正遇見耶穌的父母抱著孩子進來，要照律法的規矩辦理。
And inspired by the Spirit he came into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the law,
2:28 西面就用手接過他來，稱頌　神說：
he took him up in his arms and blessed God and said,
2:29 主啊！如今可以照你的話，釋放僕人安然去世；
"Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word;
2:30 因為我的眼睛已經看見你的救恩─
for mine eyes have seen thy salvation
2:31 就是你在萬民面前所預備的：
which thou hast prepared in the presence of all peoples,
2:32 是照亮外邦人的光，又是你民以色列的榮耀。
a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to thy people Israel."
2:33 孩子的父母因這論耶穌的話就希奇。
And his father and his mother marveled at what was said about him;
2:34 西面給他們祝福，又對孩子的母親馬利亞說：這孩子被立，是要叫以色列中許多人跌倒，許多人興起；又要作毀謗的話柄，叫許多人心裡的意念顯露出來；你自己的心也要被刀刺透。
and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, "Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is spoken against
2:35 併於上節
(and a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that thoughts out of many hearts may be revealed."
2:36 又有女先知，名叫亞拿，是亞設支派法內力的女兒，年紀已經老邁，從作童女出嫁的時候，同丈夫住了七年就寡居了，
And there was a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phan'u-el, of the tribe of Asher; she was of a great age, having lived with her husband seven years from her virginity,
2:37 現在已經八十四歲（或作：就寡居了八十四年），並不離開聖殿，禁食祈求，晝夜事奉　神。
and as a widow till she was eighty-four. She did not depart from the temple, worshiping with fasting and prayer night and day.
2:38 正當那時，她進前來稱謝　神，將孩子的事對一切盼望耶路撒冷得救贖的人講說。
And coming up at that very hour she gave thanks to God, and spoke of him to all who were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.
2:39 約瑟和馬利亞照主的律法辦完了一切的事，就回加利利，到自己的城拿撒勒去了。
And when they had performed everything according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city, Nazareth.
2:40 孩子漸漸長大，強健起來，充滿智慧，又有　神的恩在他身上。
And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon him.
2:41 每年到逾越節，他父母就上耶路撒冷去。
Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover.
2:42 當他十二歲的時候，他們按著節期的規矩上去。
And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to custom;
2:43 守滿了節期，他們回去，孩童耶穌仍舊在耶路撒冷。他的父母並不知道，
and when the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents did not know it,
2:44 以為他在同行的人中間，走了一天的路程，就在親族和熟識的人中找他，
but supposing him to be in the company they went a day's journey, and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintances;
2:45 既找不著，就回耶路撒冷去找他。
and when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking him.
2:46 過了三天，就遇見他在殿裡，坐在教師中間，一面聽，一面問。
After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions;
2:47 凡聽見他的，都希奇他的聰明和他的應對。
and all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.
2:48 他父母看見就很希奇。他母親對他說：我兒！為甚麼向我們這樣行呢？看哪！你父親和我傷心來找你！
And when they saw him they were astonished; and his mother said to him, "Son, why have you treated us so? Behold, your father and I have been looking for you anxiously."
2:49 耶穌說：為甚麼找我呢？豈不知我應當以我父的事為念麼（或作：豈不知我應當在我父的家裡麼）？
And he said to them, "How is it that you sought me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?"
2:50 他所說的這話，他們不明白。
And they did not understand the saying which he spoke to them.
2:51 他就同他們下去，回到拿撒勒，並且順從他們。他母親把這一切的事都存在心裡。
And he went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them; and his mother kept all these things in her heart.
2:52 耶穌的智慧和身量（或作：年紀），並　神和人喜愛他的心，都一齊增長。
And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and man.

經文: 路加福音 1:20 到了時候，這話必然應驗；只因你不信，你必啞巴，不能說話，直到這事成就的日子。

默想: 施洗約翰的父親撒迦利亞是祭司，夫妻在神面前被稱為是義人，遵行主的一切誡命禮儀，沒有可指摘的。可惜的是他的妻子以利沙伯不生育，兩個人又年紀老邁了。夫妻兩人多年為了盼望能得到一個兒子，向上帝迫切禱告祈求，一直到他的妻子以利沙伯已經不太可能生育了，上帝才派遣天使加百列，在撒迦利亞在聖殿燒香侍奉時，向他顯現，告訴他他的禱告已經蒙耶和華的垂聽與應允。想不到撒迦利亞由於自己與妻子的年齡老邁，因而質疑天使所傳達上帝旨意的可信度。耶和華並沒有因為撒迦利亞的不信，就不賞賜給他兒子。撒迦利亞的不信讓他變得有口難言。一直到上帝的應許應驗了，他才開口說話。感謝主的恩典，並不會因為我們的不信就不施恩典給我們。求主幫助我的不信。

題目: 施洗約翰出生的目的：「他要作主的前驅，堅強有力，像先知以利亞一樣。他要使父親和兒女重新和好，使悖逆的人回頭，走上義人明智的道路；他要幫助人民來親近主。」試想，我們重生(基督徒)後的生活目的是？

1:1 提阿非羅大人哪，有好些人提筆作書，述說在我們中間所成就的事，是照傳道的人從起初親眼看見又傳給我們的。
Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things which have been accomplished among us,
1:2
just as they were delivered to us by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word,
1:3 這些事我既從起頭都詳細考察了，就定意要按著次序寫給你，
it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent The-oph'ilus,
1:4 使你知道所學之道都是確實的。
that you may know the truth concerning the things of which you have been informed.
1:5 當猶太王希律的時候，亞比雅班裡有一個祭司，名叫撒迦利亞；他妻子是亞倫的後人，名叫以利沙伯。
In the days of Herod, king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechari'ah, of the division of Abi'jah; and he had a wife of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.
1:6 他們二人在　神面前都是義人，遵行主的一切誡命禮儀，沒有可指摘的，
And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
1:7 只是沒有孩子；因為以利沙伯不生育，兩個人又年紀老邁了。
But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and both were advanced in years.
1:8 撒迦利亞按班次在　神面前供祭司的職分，
Now while he was serving as priest before God when his division was on duty,
1:9 照祭司的規矩掣籤，得進主殿燒香。
according to the custom of the priesthood, it fell to him by lot to enter the temple of the Lord and burn incense.
1:10 燒香的時候，眾百姓在外面禱告。
And the whole multitude of the people were praying outside at the hour of incense.
1:11 有主的使者站在香壇的右邊，向他顯現。
And there appeared to him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
1:12 撒迦利亞看見，就驚慌害怕。
And Zechari'ah was troubled when he saw him, and fear fell upon him.
1:13 天使對他說：撒迦利亞，不要害怕，因為你的祈禱已經被聽見了。你的妻子以利沙伯要給你生一個兒子，你要給他起名叫約翰。
But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zechari'ah, for your prayer is heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.
1:14 你必歡喜快樂；有許多人因他出世，也必喜樂。
And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth;
1:15 他在主面前將要為大，淡酒濃酒都不喝，從母腹裡就被聖靈充滿了。
for he will be great before the Lord, and he shall drink no wine nor strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.
1:16 他要使許多以色列人回轉，歸於主─他們的　神。
And he will turn many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God,
1:17 他必有以利亞的心志能力，行在主的前面，叫為父的心轉向兒女，叫悖逆的人轉從義人的智慧，又為主預備合用的百姓。
and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Eli'jah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared."
1:18 撒迦利亞對天使說：我憑著甚麼可知道這事呢？我已經老了，我的妻子也年紀老邁了。
And Zechari'ah said to the angel, "How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in years."
1:19 天使回答說：我是站在　神面前的加百列，奉差而來對你說話，將這好信息報給你。
And the angel answered him, "I am Gabriel, who stand in the presence of God; and I was sent to speak to you, and to bring you this good news.
1:20 到了時候，這話必然應驗；只因你不信，你必啞巴，不能說話，直到這事成就的日子。
And behold, you will be silent and unable to speak until the day that these things come to pass, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time."
1:21 百姓等候撒迦利亞，詫異他許久在殿裡。
And the people were waiting for Zechari'ah, and they wondered at his delay in the temple.
1:22 及至他出來，不能和他們說話，他們就知道他在殿裡見了異象；因為他直向他們打手式，竟成了啞巴。
And when he came out, he could not speak to them, and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple; and he made signs to them and remained dumb.
1:23 他供職的日子已滿，就回家去了。
And when his time of service was ended, he went to his home.
1:24 這些日子以後，他的妻子以利沙伯懷了孕，就隱藏了五個月，
After these days his wife Elizabeth conceived, and for five months she hid herself, saying,
1:25 說：主在眷顧我的日子，這樣看待我，要把我在人間的羞恥除掉。
"Thus the Lord has done to me in the days when he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men."
1:26 到了第六個月，天使加百列奉　神的差遣往加利利的一座城去，這城名叫拿撒勒，
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
1:27 到一個童女那裡，是已經許配大衛家的一個人，名叫約瑟。童女的名字叫馬利亞；
to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
1:28 天使進去，對她說：蒙大恩的女子，我問你安，主和你同在了！
And he came to her and said, "Hail, O favored one, the Lord is with you!"
1:29 馬利亞因這話就很驚慌，又反復思想這樣問安是甚麼意思。
But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be.
1:30 天使對她說：馬利亞，不要怕！你在　神面前已經蒙恩了。
And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
1:31 你要懷孕生子，可以給他起名叫耶穌。
And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.
1:32 他要為大，稱為至高者的兒子；主　神要把他祖大衛的位給他。
He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David,
1:33 他要作雅各家的王，直到永遠；他的國也沒有窮盡。
and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there will be no end."
1:34 馬利亞對天使說：我沒有出嫁，怎麼有這事呢？
And Mary said to the angel, "How shall this be, since I have no husband?"
1:35 天使回答說：聖靈要臨到你身上，至高者的能力要蔭庇你，因此所要生的聖者必稱為　神的兒子（或作：所要生的，必稱為聖，稱為　神的兒子）。
And the angel said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God.
1:36 況且你的親戚以利沙伯，在年老的時候也懷了男胎，就是那素來稱為不生育的，現在有孕六個月了。
And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren.
1:37 因為，出於　神的話，沒有一句不帶能力的。
For with God nothing will be impossible."
1:38 馬利亞說：我是主的使女，情願照你的話成就在我身上。天使就離開她去了。
And Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.
1:39 那時候，馬利亞起身，急忙往山地裡去，來到猶大的一座城；
In those days Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country, to a city of Judah,
1:40 進了撒迦利亞的家，問以利沙伯安。
and she entered the house of Zechari'ah and greeted Elizabeth.
1:41 以利沙伯一聽馬利亞問安，所懷的胎就在腹裡跳動。以利沙伯且被聖靈充滿，
And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit
1:42 高聲喊著說：你在婦女中是有福的！你所懷的胎也是有福的！
and she exclaimed with a loud cry, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!
1:43 我主的母到我這裡來，這是從那裡得的呢？
And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
1:44 因為你問安的聲音一入我耳，我腹裡的胎就歡喜跳動。
For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy.
1:45 這相信的女子是有福的！因為主對她所說的話都要應驗。
And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfilment of what was spoken to her from the Lord."
1:46 馬利亞說：我心尊主為大；
And Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord,
1:47 我靈以　神我的救主為樂；
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
1:48 因為他顧念他使女的卑微；從今以後，萬代要稱我有福。
for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed;
1:49 那有權能的，為我成就了大事；他的名為聖。
for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
1:50 他憐憫敬畏他的人，直到世世代代。
And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation.
1:51 他用膀臂施展大能；那狂傲的人正心裡妄想就被他趕散了。
He has shown strength with his arm, he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts,
1:52 他叫有權柄的失位，叫卑賤的升高；
he has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted those of low degree;
1:53 叫飢餓的得飽美食，叫富足的空手回去。
he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away.
1:54 他扶助了他的僕人以色列，
He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy,
1:55 為要記念亞伯拉罕和他的後裔，施憐憫直到永遠，正如從前對我們列祖所說的話。
as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his posterity for ever."
1:56 馬利亞和以利沙伯同住，約有三個月，就回家去了。
And Mary remained with her about three months, and returned to her home.
1:57 以利沙伯的產期到了，就生了一個兒子。
Now the time came for Elizabeth to be delivered, and she gave birth to a son.
1:58 鄰里親族聽見主向她大施憐憫，就和她一同歡樂。
And her neighbors and kinsfolk heard that the Lord had shown great mercy to her, and they rejoiced with her.
1:59 到了第八日，他們來要給孩子行割禮，並要照他父親的名字叫他撒迦利亞。
And on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they would have named him Zechari'ah after his father,
1:60 他母親說：不可！要叫他約翰。
but his mother said, "Not so; he shall be called John."
1:61 他們說：你親族中沒有叫這名字的。
And they said to her, "None of your kindred is called by this name."
1:62 他們就向他父親打手式，問他要叫這孩子甚麼名字。
And they made signs to his father, inquiring what he would have him called.
1:63 他要了一塊寫字的板，就寫上，說：他的名字是約翰。他們便都希奇。
And he asked for a writing tablet, and wrote, "His name is John." And they all marveled.
1:64 撒迦利亞的口立時開了，舌頭也舒展了，就說出話來，稱頌　神。
And immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed, and he spoke, blessing God.
1:65 周圍居住的人都懼怕；這一切的事就傳遍了猶太的山地。
And fear came on all their neighbors. And all these things were talked about through all the hill country of Judea;
1:66 凡聽見的人都將這事放在心裡，說：這個孩子將來怎麼樣呢？因為有主與他同在。
and all who heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, "What then will this child be?" For the hand of the Lord was with him.
1:67 他父親撒迦利亞被聖靈充滿了，就預言說：
And his father Zechari'ah was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying,
1:68 主─以色列的　神是應當稱頌的！因他眷顧他的百姓，為他們施行救贖，
"Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people,
1:69 在他僕人大衛家中，為我們興起了拯救的角，
and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David,
1:70 正如主藉著從創世以來聖先知的口所說的話，
as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from of old,
1:71 拯救我們脫離仇敵和一切恨我們之人的手，
that we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us;
1:72 向我們列祖施憐憫，記念他的聖約─
to perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant,
1:73 就是他對我們祖宗亞伯拉罕所起的誓─
the oath which he swore to our father Abraham,
1:74 叫我們既從仇敵手中被救出來，
to grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear,
1:75 就可以終身在他面前，坦然無懼的用聖潔、公義事奉他。
in holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our life.
1:76 孩子啊！你要稱為至高者的先知；因為你要行在主的前面，預備他的道路，
And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,
1:77 叫他的百姓因罪得赦，就知道救恩。
to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins,
1:78 因我們　神憐憫的心腸，叫清晨的日光從高天臨到我們，
through the tender mercy of our God, when the day shall dawn upon us from on high
1:79 要照亮坐在黑暗中死蔭裡的人，把我們的腳引到平安的路上。
to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."
1:80 那孩子漸漸長大，心靈強健，住在曠野，直到他顯明在以色列人面前的日子。
And the child grew and became strong in spirit, and he was in the wilderness till the day of his manifestation to Israel.

經文: 士師記 21:25 那時，以色列中沒有王，各人任意而行。

默想: 充滿拜偶像、暴力、失敗的士師記以這句話作為總結。那時，以色列中沒有王，各人任意而行。一方面，士師記這樣的情況，埋下以色列人要求立王的伏筆。另一放面，我們也看到，當我們沒有人可以帶領我們往前的方向時，便會產生各人任意而行的混亂。後來以色列人有了掃羅王、大衛王、所羅門王，我們看到的是，甚至連耶和華藉著先知所抹油按立的國王，也是會不遵行耶和華的命令而任意而行。甚至連合神心意的大衛王，也在聖經中留下任意而行的失敗事件。求主幫助我，以上帝作我心中的王與主宰，一生順服耶和華，不要偏行己路。

題目: 為懲治便雅憫惡行，致便雅憫幾近滅族。事後以色列人反悔，想盡辦法為便雅憫族延續血脈。試想在那世代以色列人任意妄行，上主雖使用外族處罰他們，但卻不折斷壓傷的蘆葦，也不吹滅將殘的燈火。我們是否能體會上主的心意？

21:1 以色列人在米斯巴曾起誓說：「我們都不將女兒給便雅憫人為妻。」
Now the men of Israel had sworn at Mizpah, "No one of us shall give his daughter in marriage to Benjamin."
21:2 以色列人來到伯特利，坐在　神面前直到晚上，放聲痛哭，
And the people came to Bethel, and sat there till evening before God, and they lifted up their voices and wept bitterly.
21:3 說：「耶和華─以色列的　神啊，為何以色列中有這樣缺了一支派的事呢？」
And they said, "O LORD, the God of Israel, why has this come to pass in Israel, that there should be today one tribe lacking in Israel?"
21:4 次日清早，百姓起來，在那裡築了一座壇，獻燔祭和平安祭。
And on the morrow the people rose early, and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.
21:5 以色列人彼此問說：「以色列各支派中，誰沒有同會眾上到耶和華面前來呢？」先是以色列人起過大誓說，凡不上米斯巴到耶和華面前來的，必將他治死。
And the people of Israel said, "Which of all the tribes of Israel did not come up in the assembly to the LORD?" For they had taken a great oath concerning him who did not come up to the LORD to Mizpah, saying, "He shall be put to death."
21:6 以色列人為他們的弟兄便雅憫後悔，說：「如今以色列中絕了一個支派了。
And the people of Israel had compassion for Benjamin their brother, and said, "One tribe is cut off from Israel this day.
21:7 我們既在耶和華面前起誓說，必不將我們的女兒給便雅憫人為妻，現在我們當怎樣辦理、使他們剩下的人有妻呢？」
What shall we do for wives for those who are left, since we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them any of our daughters for wives?"
21:8 又彼此問說：「以色列支派中誰沒有上米斯巴到耶和華面前來呢？」他們就查出基列•雅比沒有一人進營到會眾那裡；
And they said, "What one is there of the tribes of Israel that did not come up to the LORD to Mizpah?" And behold, no one had come to the camp from Ja'besh-gil'ead, to the assembly.
21:9 因為百姓被數的時候，沒有一個基列•雅比人在那裡。
For when the people were mustered, behold, not one of the inhabitants of Ja'besh-gil'ead was there.
21:10 會眾就打發一萬二千大勇士，吩咐他們說：「你們去用刀將基列•雅比人連婦女帶孩子都擊殺了。
So the congregation sent thither twelve thousand of their bravest men, and commanded them, "Go and smite the inhabitants of Ja'besh-gil'ead with the edge of the sword; also the women and the little ones.
21:11 所當行的就是這樣：要將一切男子和已嫁的女子盡行殺戮。」
This is what you shall do; every male and every woman that has lain with a male you shall utterly destroy."
21:12 他們在基列•雅比人中，遇見了四百個未嫁的處女，就帶到迦南地的示羅營裡。
And they found among the inhabitants of Ja'besh-gil'ead four hundred young virgins who had not known man by lying with him; and they brought them to the camp at Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.
21:13 全會眾打發人到臨門磐的便雅憫人那裡，向他們說和睦的話。
Then the whole congregation sent word to the Benjaminites who were at the rock of Rimmon, and proclaimed peace to them.
21:14 當時便雅憫人回來了，以色列人就把所存活基列•雅比的女子給他們為妻，還是不夠。
And Benjamin returned at that time; and they gave them the women whom they had saved alive of the women of Ja'besh-gil'ead; but they did not suffice for them.
21:15 百姓為便雅憫人後悔，因為耶和華使以色列人缺了一個支派（原文是使以色列中有了破口）。
And the people had compassion on Benjamin because the LORD had made a breach in the tribes of Israel.
21:16 會中的長老說：「便雅憫中的女子既然除滅了，我們當怎樣辦理、使那餘剩的人有妻呢？」
Then the elders of the congregation said, "What shall we do for wives for those who are left, since the women are destroyed out of Benjamin?"
21:17 又說：「便雅憫逃脫的人當有地業，免得以色列中塗抹了一個支派。
And they said, "There must be an inheritance for the survivors of Benjamin, that a tribe be not blotted out from Israel.
21:18 只是我們不能將自己的女兒給他們為妻；因為以色列人曾起誓說，有將女兒給便雅憫人為妻的，必受咒詛。」
Yet we cannot give them wives of our daughters." For the people of Israel had sworn, "Cursed be he who gives a wife to Benjamin."
21:19 他們又說：「在利波拿以南，伯特利以北，在示劍大路以東的示羅，年年有耶和華的節期」；
So they said, "Behold, there is the yearly feast of the LORD at Shiloh, which is north of Bethel, on the east of the highway that goes up from Bethel to Shechem, and south of Lebo'nah."
21:20 就吩咐便雅憫人說：「你們去，在葡萄園中埋伏。
And they commanded the Benjaminites, saying, "Go and lie in wait in the vineyards,
21:21 若看見示羅的女子出來跳舞，就從葡萄園出來，在示羅的女子中各搶一個為妻，回便雅憫地去。
and watch; if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in the dances, then come out of the vineyards and seize each man his wife from the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.
21:22 他們的父親或是弟兄若來與我們爭競，我們就說：『求你們看我們的情面，施恩給這些人，因我們在爭戰的時候沒有給他們留下女子為妻。這也不是你們將子女給他們的；若是你們給的，就算有罪。』」
And when their fathers or their brothers come to complain to us, we will say to them, `Grant them graciously to us; because we did not take for each man of them his wife in battle, neither did you give them to them, else you would now be guilty.'"
21:23 於是便雅憫人照樣而行，按著他們的數目從跳舞的女子中搶去為妻，就回自己的地業去，又重修城邑居住。
And the Benjaminites did so, and took their wives, according to their number, from the dancers whom they carried off; then they went and returned to their inheritance, and rebuilt the towns, and dwelt in them.
21:24 當時以色列人離開那裡，各歸本支派、本宗族、本地業去了。
And the people of Israel departed from there at that time, every man to his tribe and family, and they went out from there every man to his inheritance.
21:25 那時，以色列中沒有王，各人任意而行。
In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes.

經文: 士師記 20:23-25 未擺陣之先，以色列人上去，在耶和華面前哭號，直到晚上，求問耶和華說：我們再去與我們弟兄便雅憫人打仗可以不可以？耶和華說：可以上去攻擊他們。第二日，以色列人就上前攻擊便雅憫人。便雅憫人也在這日從基比亞出來，與以色列人接戰，又殺死他們一萬八千，都是拿刀的。

默想: 在本章經文當中，我們看見以色列人在派兵出發，與便雅憫族戰爭之前，先到耶和華的約櫃面前哭訴上次攻擊的挫拜，並且求問耶和華的帶領。耶和華的回答是可以去攻擊便雅憫人。但是，以色列人在聽從耶和華啟示之後，前往與便雅憫人戰爭的結果，卻是又大敗一場，被殺死了一萬八千名拿刀的勇士。一直到第三次戰爭，以色列人才打了一場大勝仗。因此，上帝的帶領並不一定保證每次都順利亨通。有時，上帝有他隱密的旨意，是我們所無法完全明白的。當以色列人連續兩次聽從耶和華的啟示，前往與便雅憫人戰爭，都吃了敗仗之後，他們還是不放棄，繼續到耶和華面前尋求耶和華的帶領，第三次才打了勝仗。求主幫助我，在遭遇失敗挫折時，還能像以色列人一樣，堅定信心相信並聽從上帝的帶領。

題目: 聽聞利未人之妾的故事，以色列人大發熱心，要求便雅憫族交出基比亞人，他們卻不加理會，以致同胞相殘。便雅憫族包庇罪惡，致使族中男丁只餘六百人，藉此我們當深思大義與親族間該如何選擇？

20:1 於是以色列從但到別是巴，以及住基列地的眾人都出來，如同一人，聚集在米斯巴耶和華面前。
Then all the people of Israel came out, from Dan to Beer-sheba, including the land of Gilead, and the congregation assembled as one man to the LORD at Mizpah.
20:2 以色列民的首領，就是各支派的軍長，都站在　神百姓的會中；拿刀的步兵共有四十萬。
And the chiefs of all the people, of all the tribes of Israel, presented themselves in the assembly of the people of God, four hundred thousand men on foot that drew the sword.
20:3 以色列人上到米斯巴，便雅憫人都聽見了。以色列人說：「請你將這件惡事的情由對我們說明。」
(Now the Benjaminites heard that the people of Israel had gone up to Mizpah.) And the people of Israel said, "Tell us, how was this wickedness brought to pass?"
20:4 那利未人，就是被害之婦人的丈夫，回答說：「我和我的妾到了便雅憫的基比亞住宿。
And the Levite, the husband of the woman who was murdered, answered and said, "I came to Gib'e-ah that belongs to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to spend the night.
20:5 基比亞人夜間起來，圍了我住的房子，想要殺我，又將我的妾強姦致死。
And the men of Gib'e-ah rose against me, and beset the house round about me by night; they meant to kill me, and they ravished my concubine, and she is dead.
20:6 我就把我妾的屍身切成塊子，使人拿著傳送以色列得為業的全地，因為基比亞人在以色列中行了兇淫醜惡的事。
And I took my concubine and cut her in pieces, and sent her throughout all the country of the inheritance of Israel; for they have committed abomination and wantonness in Israel.
20:7 你們以色列人都當籌劃商議。」
Behold, you people of Israel, all of you, give your advice and counsel here."
20:8 眾民都起來如同一人，說：「我們連一人都不回自己帳棚、自己房屋去。
And all the people arose as one man, saying, "We will not any of us go to his tent, and none of us will return to his house.
20:9 我們向基比亞人必這樣行，照所掣的籤去攻擊他們。
But now this is what we will do to Gib'e-ah: we will go up against it by lot,
20:10 我們要在以色列各支派中，一百人挑取十人，一千人挑取百人，一萬人挑取千人，為民運糧，等大眾到了便雅憫的基比亞，就照基比亞人在以色列中所行的醜事征伐他們。」
and we will take ten men of a hundred throughout all the tribes of Israel, and a hundred of a thousand, and a thousand of ten thousand, to bring provisions for the people, that when they come they may requite Gib'e-ah of Benjamin, for all the wanton crime which they have committed in Israel."
20:11 於是以色列眾人彼此連合如同一人，聚集攻擊那城。
So all the men of Israel gathered against the city, united as one man.
20:12 以色列眾支派打發人去，問便雅憫支派的各家說：「你們中間怎麼做了這樣的惡事呢？
And the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, "What wickedness is this that has taken place among you?
20:13 現在你們要將基比亞的那些匪徒交出來，我們好治死他們，從以色列中除掉這惡。」便雅憫人卻不肯聽從他們弟兄以色列人的話。
Now therefore give up the men, the base fellows in Gib'e-ah, that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel." But the Benjaminites would not listen to the voice of their brethren, the people of Israel.
20:14 便雅憫人從他們的各城裡出來，聚集到了基比亞，要與以色列人打仗。
And the Benjaminites came together out of the cities to Gib'e-ah, to go out to battle against the people of Israel.
20:15 那時便雅憫人從各城裡點出拿刀的，共有二萬六千；另外還有基比亞人點出七百精兵。
And the Benjaminites mustered out of their cities on that day twenty-six thousand men that drew the sword, besides the inhabitants of Gib'e-ah, who mustered seven hundred picked men.
20:16 在眾軍之中有揀選的七百精兵，都是左手便利的，能用機弦甩石打人，毫髮不差。
Among all these were seven hundred picked men who were left-handed; every one could sling a stone at a hair, and not miss.
20:17 便雅憫人之外，點出以色列人拿刀的，共有四十萬，都是戰士。
And the men of Israel, apart from Benjamin, mustered four hundred thousand men that drew sword; all these were men of war.
20:18 以色列人就起來，到伯特利去求問　神說：「我們中間誰當首先上去與便雅憫人爭戰呢？」耶和華說：「猶大當先上去。」
The people of Israel arose and went up to Bethel, and inquired of God, "Which of us shall go up first to battle against the Benjaminites?" And the LORD said, "Judah shall go up first."
20:19 以色列人早晨起來，對著基比亞安營。
Then the people of Israel rose in the morning, and encamped against Gib'e-ah.
20:20 以色列人出來，要與便雅憫人打仗，就在基比亞前擺陣。
And the men of Israel went out to battle against Benjamin; and the men of Israel drew up the battle line against them at Gib'e-ah.
20:21 便雅憫人就從基比亞出來，當日殺死以色列人二萬二千。
The Benjaminites came out of Gib'e-ah, and felled to the ground on that day twenty-two thousand men of the Israelites.
20:22 以色列人彼此奮勇，仍在頭一日擺陣的地方又擺陣。
But the people, the men of Israel, took courage, and again formed the battle line in the same place where they had formed it on the first day.
20:23 未擺陣之先，以色列人上去，在耶和華面前哭號，直到晚上，求問耶和華說：「我們再去與我們弟兄便雅憫人打仗可以不可以？」耶和華說：「可以上去攻擊他們。」
And the people of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until the evening; and they inquired of the LORD, "Shall we again draw near to battle against our brethren the Benjaminites?" And the LORD said, "Go up against them."
20:24 第二日，以色列人就上前攻擊便雅憫人。
So the people of Israel came near against the Benjaminites the second day.
20:25 便雅憫人也在這日從基比亞出來，與以色列人接戰，又殺死他們一萬八千，都是拿刀的。
And Benjamin went against them out of Gib'e-ah the second day, and felled to the ground eighteen thousand men of the people of Israel; all these were men who drew the sword.
20:26 以色列眾人就上到伯特利，坐在耶和華面前哭號，當日禁食直到晚上；又在耶和華面前獻燔祭和平安祭。
Then all the people of Israel, the whole army, went up and came to Bethel and wept; they sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day until evening, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
20:27 那時，　神的約櫃在那裡；亞倫的孫子、以利亞撒的兒子非尼哈侍立在約櫃前。以色列人問耶和華說：「我們當再出去與我們弟兄便雅憫人打仗呢？還是罷兵呢？」耶和華說：「你們當上去，因為明日我必將他們交在你們手中。」
And the people of Israel inquired of the LORD (for the ark of the covenant of God was there in those days,
20:28 併於上節
and Phin'ehas the son of Elea'zar, son of Aaron, ministered before it in those days), saying, "Shall we yet again go out to battle against our brethren the Benjaminites, or shall we cease?" And the LORD said, "Go up; for tomorrow I will give them into your hand."
20:29 以色列人在基比亞的四圍設下伏兵。
So Israel set men in ambush round about Gib'e-ah.
20:30 第三日，以色列人又上去攻擊便雅憫人，在基比亞前擺陣，與前兩次一樣。
And the people of Israel went up against the Benjaminites on the third day, and set themselves in array against Gib'e-ah, as at other times.
20:31 便雅憫人也出來迎敵，就被引誘離城；在田間兩條路上，一通伯特利，一通基比亞，像前兩次，動手殺死以色列人約有三十個。
And the Benjaminites went out against the people, and were drawn away from the city; and as at other times they began to smite and kill some of the people, in the highways, one of which goes up to Bethel and the other to Gib'e-ah, and in the open country, about thirty men of Israel.
20:32 便雅憫人說：「他們仍舊敗在我們面前。」但以色列人說：「我們不如逃跑，引誘他們離開城到路上來。」
And the Benjaminites said, "They are routed before us, as at the first." But the men of Israel said, "Let us flee, and draw them away from the city to the highways."
20:33 以色列眾人都起來，在巴力•他瑪擺陣，以色列的伏兵從馬利迦巴埋伏的地方衝上前去。
And all the men of Israel rose up out of their place, and set themselves in array at Ba'al-ta'mar; and the men of Israel who were in ambush rushed out of their place west of Geba.
20:34 有以色列人中的一萬精兵，來到基比亞前接戰，勢派甚是凶猛；便雅憫人卻不知道災禍臨近了。
And there came against Gib'e-ah ten thousand picked men out of all Israel, and the battle was hard; but the Benjaminites did not know that disaster was close upon them.
20:35 耶和華使以色列人殺敗便雅憫人。那日，以色列人殺死便雅憫人二萬五千一百，都是拿刀的。
And the LORD defeated Benjamin before Israel; and the men of Israel destroyed twenty-five thousand one hundred men of Benjamin that day; all these were men who drew the sword.
20:36 於是便雅憫人知道自己敗了。先是以色列人；因為靠著在基比亞前所設的伏兵，就在便雅憫人面前詐敗。
So the Benjaminites saw that they were defeated. The men of Israel gave ground to Benjamin, because they trusted to the men in ambush whom they had set against Gib'e-ah.
20:37 伏兵急忙闖進基比亞，用刀殺死全城的人。
And the men in ambush made haste and rushed upon Gib'e-ah; the men in ambush moved out and smote all the city with the edge of the sword.
20:38 以色列人預先同伏兵約定在城內放火，以煙氣上騰為號。
Now the appointed signal between the men of Israel and the men in ambush was that when they made a great cloud of smoke rise up out of the city
20:39 以色列人臨退陣的時候，便雅憫人動手殺死以色列人，約有三十個，就說：「他們仍像前次被我們殺敗了。」
the men of Israel should turn in battle. Now Benjamin had begun to smite and kill about thirty men of Israel; they said, "Surely they are smitten down before us, as in the first battle."
20:40 當煙氣如柱從城中上騰的時候，便雅憫人回頭觀看，見全城的煙氣沖天。
But when the signal began to rise out of the city in a column of smoke, the Benjaminites looked behind them; and behold, the whole of the city went up in smoke to heaven.
20:41 以色列人又轉身回來，便雅憫人就甚驚惶，因為看見災禍臨到自己了。
Then the men of Israel turned, and the men of Benjamin were dismayed, for they saw that disaster was close upon them.
20:42 他們在以色列人面前轉身往曠野逃跑；以色列人在後面追殺。那從各城裡出來的，也都夾攻殺滅他們。
Therefore they turned their backs before the men of Israel in the direction of the wilderness; but the battle overtook them, and those who came out of the cities destroyed them in the midst of them.
20:43 以色列人圍繞便雅憫人，追趕他們，在他們歇腳之處、對著日出之地的基比亞踐踏他們。
Cutting down the Benjaminites, they pursued them and trod them down from Nohah as far as opposite Gib'e-ah on the east.
20:44 便雅憫人死了的有一萬八千，都是勇士。
Eighteen thousand men of Benjamin fell, all of them men of valor.
20:45 其餘的人轉身向曠野逃跑，往臨門磐去。以色列人在道路上殺了他們五千人，如拾取遺穗一樣，追到基頓又殺了他們二千人。
And they turned and fled toward the wilderness to the rock of Rimmon; five thousand men of them were cut down in the highways, and they were pursued hard to Gidom, and two thousand men of them were slain.
20:46 那日便雅憫死了的共有二萬五千人，都是拿刀的勇士。
So all who fell that day of Benjamin were twenty-five thousand men that drew the sword, all of them men of valor.
20:47 只剩下六百人，轉身向曠野逃跑，到了臨門磐，就在那裡住了四個月。
But six hundred men turned and fled toward the wilderness to the rock of Rimmon, and abode at the rock of Rimmon four months.
20:48 以色列人又轉到便雅憫地，將各城的人和牲畜，並一切所遇見的，都用刀殺盡，又放火燒了一切城邑。
And the men of Israel turned back against the Benjaminites, and smote them with the edge of the sword, men and beasts and all that they found. And all the towns which they found they set on fire.

經文: 士師記 19:15 他們進入基比亞要在那裡住宿，就坐在城裡的街上，因為無人接他們進家住宿。

默想: 基比亞的便雅憫人，對於出外的異鄉客旅，一點也沒有愛心，他們不願意邀請這位來自以法蓮山地的利未人以及他的同伴，進入他們家裡過夜。讓這個來自以法蓮山地的利未人以及他的同伴，在黑夜裡坐在街頭，眼看就只好露宿街頭時，幸好來了一位也是來自以法蓮山地的老鄉，邀請他們到他家過夜。想不到基比亞的便雅憫人，居然惡從膽邊生，企圖破門而入，要集體輪暴性虐待這位利未人。這讓我想到創世記所記載，當兩位天始前往所多瑪城拜訪亞伯拉罕的姪子羅得，要向他警告即將到來的上帝審判時，所多瑪全城的人，也是同樣企圖集體輪暴性虐待這兩位到訪的天使。那時，天使顯出神蹟，讓這群暴民一時眼瞎，找不到門路。但是，這次在基比亞城，這位利未人，卻是拉他的妾出去，接受基比亞人的集體輪暴性虐待致死。耶和華對於企圖集體強暴未遂的所多瑪人，給予從天降火焚城的審判。但是，耶和華卻對於基比亞人的集體倫暴罪行，沒有從天上給予立即的公義審判，卻容許以色列人各支派，自己用戰爭來處理這個罪行。主耶穌告訴我們，當他再臨時要審判我們的標準之一，就是，我作客旅，你們留我住。求主加添我的愛心，讓我對於出外人會給以接待與幫助。

題目: 利未人遠行尋妾，但在基比亞時，卻以妾的性命保全自己。為報復基比亞人的惡行，竟切割妾的屍身分送以色列各支派。看似為求正義將妾之死述之公論，但卻以殘忍的方式進行。此利未人的行徑相較於基比亞人，又如何？

19:1 當以色列中沒有王的時候，有住以法蓮山地那邊的一個利未人，娶了一個猶大伯利恆的女子為妾。
In those days, when there was no king in Israel, a certain Levite was sojourning in the remote parts of the hill country of E'phraim, who took to himself a concubine from Bethlehem in Judah.
19:2 妾行淫離開丈夫，回猶大的伯利恆，到了父家，在那裡住了四個月。
And his concubine became angry with him, and she went away from him to her father's house at Bethlehem in Judah, and was there some four months.
19:3 她丈夫起來，帶著一個僕人、兩匹驢去見她，用好話勸她回來。女子就引丈夫進入父家。她父見了那人，便歡歡喜喜地迎接。
Then her husband arose and went after her, to speak kindly to her and bring her back. He had with him his servant and a couple of asses. And he came to her father's house; and when the girl's father saw him, he came with joy to meet him.
19:4 那人的岳父，就是女子的父親，將那人留下住了三天。於是二人一同吃喝、住宿。
And his father-in-law, the girl's father, made him stay, and he remained with him three days; so they ate and drank, and lodged there.
19:5 到第四天，利未人清早起來要走，女子的父親對女婿說：「請你吃點飯，加添心力，然後可以行路。」
And on the fourth day they arose early in the morning, and he prepared to go; but the girl's father said to his son-in-law, "Strengthen your heart with a morsel of bread, and after that you may go."
19:6 於是二人坐下一同吃喝。女子的父親對那人說：「請你再住一夜，暢快你的心。」
So the two men sat and ate and drank together; and the girl's father said to the man, "Be pleased to spend the night, and let your heart be merry."
19:7 那人起來要走，他岳父強留他，他又住了一宿。
And when the man rose up to go, his father-in-law urged him, till he lodged there again.
19:8 到第五天，他清早起來要走，女子的父親說：「請你吃點飯，加添心力，等到日頭偏西再走。」於是二人一同吃飯。
And on the fifth day he arose early in the morning to depart; and the girl's father said, "Strengthen your heart, and tarry until the day declines." So they ate, both of them.
19:9 那人同他的妾和僕人起來要走，他岳父，就是女子的父親，對他說：「看哪，日頭偏西了，請你再住一夜；天快晚了，可以在這裡住宿，暢快你的心。明天早早起行回家去。」
And when the man and his concubine and his servant rose up to depart, his father-in-law, the girl's father, said to him, "Behold, now the day has waned toward evening; pray tarry all night. Behold, the day draws to its close; lodge here and let your heart be merry; and tomorrow you shall arise early in the morning for your journey, and go home."
19:10 那人不願再住一夜，就備上那兩匹驢，帶著妾起身走了，來到耶布斯的對面（耶布斯就是耶路撒冷。）
But the man would not spend the night; he rose up and departed, and arrived opposite Jebus (that is, Jerusalem). He had with him a couple of saddled asses, and his concubine was with him.
19:11 臨近耶布斯的時候，日頭快要落了，僕人對主人說：「我們不如進這耶布斯人的城裡住宿。」
When they were near Jebus, the day was far spent, and the servant said to his master, "Come now, let us turn aside to this city of the Jeb'usites, and spend the night in it."
19:12 主人回答說：「我們不可進不是以色列人住的外邦城，不如過到基比亞去」；
And his master said to him, "We will not turn aside into the city of foreigners, who do not belong to the people of Israel; but we will pass on to Gib'e-ah."
19:13 又對僕人說：「我們可以到一個地方，或住在基比亞，或住在拉瑪。」
And he said to his servant, "Come and let us draw near to one of these places, and spend the night at Gib'e-ah or at Ramah."
19:14 他們就往前走。將到便雅憫的基比亞，日頭已經落了；
So they passed on and went their way; and the sun went down on them near Gib'e-ah, which belongs to Benjamin,
19:15 他們進入基比亞要在那裡住宿，就坐在城裡的街上，因為無人接他們進家住宿。
and they turned aside there, to go in and spend the night at Gib'e-ah. And he went in and sat down in the open square of the city; for no man took them into his house to spend the night.
19:16 晚上，有一個老年人從田間做工回來。他原是以法蓮山地的人，住在基比亞；那地方的人卻是便雅憫人。
And behold, an old man was coming from his work in the field at evening; the man was from the hill country of E'phraim, and he was sojourning in Gib'e-ah; the men of the place were Benjaminites.
19:17 老年人舉目看見客人坐在城裡的街上，就問他說：「你從哪裡來？要往哪裡去？」
And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the wayfarer in the open square of the city; and the old man said, "Where are you going? and whence do you come?"
19:18 他回答說：「我們從猶大的伯利恆來，要往以法蓮山地那邊去。我原是那裡的人，到過猶大的伯利恆，現在我往耶和華的殿去，在這裡無人接我進他的家。
And he said to him, "We are passing from Bethlehem in Judah to the remote parts of the hill country of E'phraim, from which I come. I went to Bethlehem in Judah; and I am going to my home; and nobody takes me into his house.
19:19 其實我有糧草可以餵驢，我與我的妾，並我的僕人，有餅有酒，並不缺少甚麼。」
We have straw and provender for our asses, with bread and wine for me and your maidservant and the young man with your servants; there is no lack of anything."
19:20 老年人說：「願你平安！你所需用的我都給你，只是不可在街上過夜。」
And the old man said, "Peace be to you; I will care for all your wants; only, do not spend the night in the square."
19:21 於是領他們到家裡，餵上驢，他們就洗腳吃喝。
So he brought him into his house, and gave the asses provender; and they washed their feet, and ate and drank.
19:22 他們心裡正歡暢的時候，城中的匪徒圍住房子，連連叩門，對房主老人說：「你把那進你家的人帶出來，我們要與他交合。」
As they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, base fellows, beset the house round about, beating on the door; and they said to the old man, the master of the house, "Bring out the man who came into your house, that we may know him."
19:23 那房主出來對他們說：「弟兄們哪，不要這樣作惡；這人既然進了我的家，你們就不要行這醜事。
And the man, the master of the house, went out to them and said to them, "No, my brethren, do not act so wickedly; seeing that this man has come into my house, do not do this vile thing.
19:24 我有個女兒，還是處女，並有這人的妾，我將她們領出來任憑你們玷辱她們，只是向這人不可行這樣的醜事。」
Behold, here are my virgin daughter and his concubine; let me bring them out now. Ravish them and do with them what seems good to you; but against this man do not do so vile a thing."
19:25 那些人卻不聽從他的話。那人就把他的妾拉出去交給他們，他們便與她交合，終夜凌辱她，直到天色快亮才放她去。
But the men would not listen to him. So the man seized his concubine, and put her out to them; and they knew her, and abused her all night until the morning. And as the dawn began to break, they let her go.
19:26 天快亮的時候，婦人回到她主人住宿的房門前，就仆倒在地，直到天亮。
And as morning appeared, the woman came and fell down at the door of the man's house where her master was, till it was light.
19:27 早晨，她的主人起來開了房門，出去要行路，不料那婦人仆倒在房門前，兩手搭在門檻上；
And her master rose up in the morning, and when he opened the doors of the house and went out to go on his way, behold, there was his concubine lying at the door of the house, with her hands on the threshold.
19:28 就對婦人說：「起來，我們走吧！」婦人卻不回答。那人便將她馱在驢上，起身回本處去了。
He said to her, "Get up, let us be going." But there was no answer. Then he put her upon the ass; and the man rose up and went away to his home.
19:29 到了家裡，用刀將妾的屍身切成十二塊，使人拿著傳送以色列的四境。
And when he entered his house, he took a knife, and laying hold of his concubine he divided her, limb by limb, into twelve pieces, and sent her throughout all the territory of Israel.
19:30 凡看見的人都說：「從以色列人出埃及地，直到今日，這樣的事沒有行過，也沒有見過。現在應當思想，大家商議當怎樣辦理。」
And all who saw it said, "Such a thing has never happened or been seen from the day that the people of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt until this day; consider it, take counsel, and speak."

默想: 神的殿在示羅，但人卻不上示羅去敬拜耶和華，寧可敬拜自己在家裡設立由米迦那裡搶奪過來的銀偶像。耶和華是創造並掌管宇宙萬物的上帝，偶像卻是由人所鑄造，並且可以被人用武力強奪的東西。我們天性不喜歡被掌管，我們傾向造自己掌控一切。像創世記第三章所記載亞當與夏娃墮落的故事，那蛇對夏娃的誘惑就是，你可以用你的手去摘下那分別善惡樹上的果子，你可以成為如神一樣。本來在創世記第一章所記載，當耶和華造人時，就把上帝的形像與樣式賞賜給了人類。人類卻不願意用感恩的心，伸出雙手來接受上帝所賞賜這寶貴的禮物，寧可自己用手去摘取那果子，自己要達到如神的境界。求主幫助我，要尋求耶和華的面來敬拜他，不要自己設立自己的偶像來敬拜。要學習順服耶和華，不要自己以為聰明。

題目: 但人仗著人多勢眾，強行擄掠米迦所做的神像、祭司、家人、財物，當米迦追趕時，還明知故問「你聚集這許多人來做甚麼呢？」試問，我們是否有時也因人多，而欺壓了較弱勢的個人或團體？

18:1 那時，以色列中沒有王。但支派的人仍是尋地居住；因為到那日子，他們還沒有在以色列支派中得地為業。
In those days there was no king in Israel. And in those days the tribe of the Danites was seeking for itself an inheritance to dwell in; for until then no inheritance among the tribes of Israel had fallen to them.
18:2 但人從瑣拉和以實陶打發本族中的五個勇士，去仔細窺探那地，吩咐他們說：「你們去窺探那地。」他們來到以法蓮山地，進了米迦的住宅，就在那裡住宿。
So the Danites sent five able men from the whole number of their tribe, from Zorah and from Esh'ta-ol, to spy out the land and to explore it; and they said to them, "Go and explore the land." And they came to the hill country of E'phraim, to the house of Micah, and lodged there.
18:3 他們臨近米迦的住宅，聽出那少年利未人的口音來，就進去問他說：「誰領你到這裡來？你在這裡做甚麼？你在這裡得甚麼？」
When they were by the house of Micah, they recognized the voice of the young Levite; and they turned aside and said to him, "Who brought you here? What are you doing in this place? What is your business here?"
18:4 他回答說：「米迦待我如此如此，請我作祭司。」
And he said to them, "Thus and thus has Micah dealt with me: he has hired me, and I have become his priest."
18:5 他們對他說：「請你求問　神，使我們知道所行的道路通達不通達。」
And they said to him, "Inquire of God, we pray thee, that we may know whether the journey on which we are setting out will succeed."
18:6 祭司對他們說：「你們可以平平安安地去，你們所行的道路是在耶和華面前的。」
And the priest said to them, "Go in peace. The journey on which you go is under the eye of the LORD."
18:7 五人就走了，來到拉億，見那裡的民安居無慮，如同西頓人安居一樣。在那地沒有人掌權擾亂他們；他們離西頓人也遠，與別人沒有來往。
Then the five men departed, and came to La'ish, and saw the people who were there, how they dwelt in security, after the manner of the Sido'nians, quiet and unsuspecting, lacking nothing that is in the earth, and possessing wealth, and how they were far from the Sido'nians and had no dealings with any one.
18:8 五人回到瑣拉和以實陶，見他們的弟兄；弟兄問他們說：「你們有甚麼話？」
And when they came to their brethren at Zorah and Esh'ta-ol, their brethren said to them, "What do you report?"
18:9 他們回答說：「起來，我們上去攻擊他們吧！我們已經窺探那地，見那地甚好。你們為何靜坐不動呢？要急速前往得那地為業，不可遲延。
They said, "Arise, and let us go up against them; for we have seen the land, and behold, it is very fertile. And will you do nothing? Do not be slow to go, and enter in and possess the land.
18:10 你們到了那裡，必看見安居無慮的民，地也寬闊。　神已將那地交在你們手中；那地百物俱全，一無所缺。」
When you go, you will come to an unsuspecting people. The land is broad; yea, God has given it into your hands, a place where there is no lack of anything that is in the earth."
18:11 於是但族中的六百人，各帶兵器，從瑣拉和以實陶前往，
And six hundred men of the tribe of Dan, armed with weapons of war, set forth from Zorah and Esh'ta-ol,
18:12 上到猶大的基列•耶琳，在基列•耶琳後邊安營。因此那地方名叫瑪哈尼•但，直到今日。
and went up and encamped at Kir'iath-je'arim in Judah. On this account that place is called Ma'haneh-dan to this day; behold, it is west of Kir'iath-je'arim.
18:13 他們從那裡往以法蓮山地去，來到米迦的住宅。
And they passed on from there to the hill country of E'phraim, and came to the house of Micah.
18:14 從前窺探拉億地的五個人對他們的弟兄說：「這宅子裡有以弗得和家中的神像，並雕刻的像與鑄成的像，你們知道嗎？現在你們要想一想當怎樣行。」
Then the five men who had gone to spy out the country of La'ish said to their brethren, "Do you know that in these houses there are an ephod, teraphim, a graven image, and a molten image? Now therefore consider what you will do."
18:15 五人就進入米迦的住宅，到了那少年利未人的房內問他好。
And they turned aside thither, and came to the house of the young Levite, at the home of Micah, and asked him of his welfare.
18:16 那六百但人各帶兵器，站在門口。
Now the six hundred men of the Danites, armed with their weapons of war, stood by the entrance of the gate;
18:17 窺探地的五個人走進去，將雕刻的像、以弗得、家中的神像，並鑄成的像，都拿了去。祭司和帶兵器的六百人，一同站在門口。
and the five men who had gone to spy out the land went up, and entered and took the graven image, the ephod, the teraphim, and the molten image, while the priest stood by the entrance of the gate with the six hundred men armed with weapons of war.
18:18 那五個人進入米迦的住宅，拿出雕刻的像、以弗得、家中的神像，並鑄成的像，祭司就問他們說：「你們做甚麼呢？」
And when these went into Micah's house and took the graven image, the ephod, the teraphim, and the molten image, the priest said to them, "What are you doing?"
18:19 他們回答說：「不要作聲，用手摀口，跟我們去吧！我們必以你為父、為祭司。你作一家的祭司好呢？還是作以色列一族一支派的祭司好呢？」
And they said to him, "Keep quiet, put your hand upon your mouth, and come with us, and be to us a father and a priest. Is it better for you to be priest to the house of one man, or to be priest to a tribe and family in Israel?"
18:20 祭司心裡喜悅，便拿著以弗得和家中的神像，並雕刻的像，進入他們中間。
And the priest's heart was glad; he took the ephod, and the teraphim, and the graven image, and went in the midst of the people.
18:21 他們就轉身離開那裡，妻子、兒女、牲畜、財物都在前頭。
So they turned and departed, putting the little ones and the cattle and the goods in front of them.
18:22 離米迦的住宅已遠，米迦的近鄰都聚集來，追趕但人，
When they were a good way from the home of Micah, the men who were in the houses near Micah's house were called out, and they overtook the Danites.
18:23 呼叫但人。但人回頭問米迦說：「你聚集這許多人來做甚麼呢？」
And they shouted to the Danites, who turned round and said to Micah, "What ails you that you come with such a company?"
18:24 米迦說：「你們將我所做的神像和祭司都帶了去，我還有所剩的麼？怎麼還問我說『做甚麼』呢？」
And he said, "You take my gods which I made, and the priest, and go away, and what have I left? How then do you ask me, `What ails you?'"
18:25 但人對米迦說：「你不要使我們聽見你的聲音，恐怕有性暴的人攻擊你，以致你和你的全家盡都喪命。」
And the Danites said to him, "Do not let your voice be heard among us, lest angry fellows fall upon you, and you lose your life with the lives of your household."
18:26 但人還是走他們的路。米迦見他們的勢力比自己強盛，就轉身回家去了。
Then the Danites went their way; and when Micah saw that they were too strong for him, he turned and went back to his home.
18:27 但人將米迦所做的神像和他的祭司都帶到拉億，見安居無慮的民，就用刀殺了那民，又放火燒了那城，
And taking what Micah had made, and the priest who belonged to him, the Danites came to La'ish, to a people quiet and unsuspecting, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and burned the city with fire.
18:28 並無人搭救；因為離西頓遠，他們又與別人沒有來往。城在平原，那平原靠近伯•利合。但人又在那裡修城居住，
And there was no deliverer because it was far from Sidon, and they had no dealings with any one. It was in the valley which belongs to Beth-rehob. And they rebuilt the city, and dwelt in it.
18:29 照著他們始祖以色列之子但的名字，給那城起名叫但；原先那城名叫拉億。
And they named the city Dan, after the name of Dan their ancestor, who was born to Israel; but the name of the city was La'ish at the first.
18:30 但人就為自己設立那雕刻的像。摩西的孫子、革舜的兒子約拿單，和他的子孫作但支派的祭司，直到那地遭擄掠的日子。
And the Danites set up the graven image for themselves; and Jonathan the son of Gershom, son of Moses, and his sons were priests to the tribe of the Danites until the day of the captivity of the land.
18:31 　神的殿在示羅多少日子，但人為自己設立米迦所雕刻的像也在但多少日子。
So they set up Micah's graven image which he made, as long as the house of God was at Shiloh.

經文: 士師記 17:13 米迦說：現在我知道耶和華必賜福與我，因我有一個利未人作祭司。

默想: 米迦偷了母親的銀子而被母親咒詛。當他把銀子歸還母親時，母親確用其中一部份替他雕刻一座銀偶像，卻把這個稱為獻給耶和華。後來有一位利未少年人遊蕩到米迦家裡，尋找可以住宿之處。米迦就把他留下來，請他擔任這個銀偶像的祭司。然後米迦就自己慶幸，因為擁有一位利未少年人作為祭司，必會蒙耶和華的祝福。主啊！求你幫助我，不要像米迦一樣，把這些外在的宗教儀式物品與人物，視為蒙神祝福的保證，而是會遵行耶和華的命令，盡己愛神與愛鄰如己。

題目: 當時以色列民深受外族影響，自立祭司，雕塑偶像當作耶和華崇拜，甚至連利未人也忘記自己的身分，為五斗米折腰。試想在我們是否也為生活、利益，而輕看我們身為神兒女及尊貴的祭司身分？

17:1 以法蓮山地有一個人名叫米迦。
There was a man of the hill country of E'phraim, whose name was Micah.
17:2 他對母親說：「你那一千一百舍客勒銀子被人拿去，你因此咒詛，並且告訴了我。看哪，這銀子在我這裡，是我拿去了。」他母親說：「我兒啊，願耶和華賜福與你！」
And he said to his mother, "The eleven hundred pieces of silver which were taken from you, about which you uttered a curse, and also spoke it in my ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it." And his mother said, "Blessed be my son by the LORD."
17:3 米迦就把這一千一百舍客勒銀子還他母親。他母親說：「我分出這銀子來為你獻給耶和華，好雕刻一個像，鑄成一個像。現在我還是交給你。」
And he restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother; and his mother said, "I consecrate the silver to the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image; now therefore I will restore it to you."
17:4 米迦將銀子還他母親，他母親將二百舍客勒銀子交給銀匠，雕刻一個像，鑄成一個像，安置在米迦的屋內。
So when he restored the money to his mother, his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave it to the silversmith, who made it into a graven image and a molten image; and it was in the house of Micah.
17:5 這米迦有了神堂，又製造以弗得和家中的神像，分派他一個兒子作祭司。
And the man Micah had a shrine, and he made an ephod and teraphim, and installed one of his sons, who became his priest.
17:6 那時以色列中沒有王，各人任意而行。
In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes.
17:7 猶大的伯利恆有一個少年人，是猶大族的利未人，他在那裡寄居。
Now there was a young man of Bethlehem in Judah, of the family of Judah, who was a Levite; and he sojourned there.
17:8 這人離開猶大的伯利恆城，要找一個可住的地方。行路的時候，到了以法蓮山地，走到米迦的家。
And the man departed from the town of Bethlehem in Judah, to live where he could find a place; and as he journeyed, he came to the hill country of E'phraim to the house of Micah.
17:9 米迦問他說：「你從哪裡來？」他回答說：「從猶大的伯利恆來。我是利未人，要找一個可住的地方。」
And Micah said to him, "From where do you come?" And he said to him, "I am a Levite of Bethlehem in Judah, and I am going to sojourn where I may find a place."
17:10 米迦說：「你可以住在我這裡，我以你為父、為祭司。我每年給你十舍客勒銀子，一套衣服和度日的食物。」利未人就進了他的家。
And Micah said to him, "Stay with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten pieces of silver a year, and a suit of apparel, and your living."
17:11 利未人情願與那人同住；那人看這少年人如自己的兒子一樣。
And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man became to him like one of his sons.
17:12 米迦分派這少年的利未人作祭司，他就住在米迦的家裡。
And Micah installed the Levite, and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
17:13 米迦說：「現在我知道耶和華必賜福與我，因我有一個利未人作祭司。」

經文: 士師記 16:17 參孫就把心中所藏的都告訴了他，對他說：向來人沒有用剃頭刀剃我的頭，因為我自出母胎就歸神作拿細耳人；若剃了我的頭髮，我的力氣就離開我，我便軟弱像別人一樣。

默想: 參孫理性知道，他從出母腹就歸耶和華作拿細耳人。拿細耳人的一個記號，就是留一頭長髮，完全不剃頭。(民6:2-5) 但是，參孫除了留了滿頭長髮之外，他的生活卻是毫無節制的陷溺在情色與暴力之間，一點也沒有過聖潔的生活。耶和華為了向以色列人施恩，雖然參孫的所謂拿細耳人的約，只剩下那滿頭的長髮，上帝依然賞賜給參孫超自然的體力，好讓他有能力制服非利士人，解救以色列人脫離非利士人的逼迫。那裡知道，參孫在大利拉的誆哄之下，最後終於把自己擁有超然能力的秘密完全告訴大利拉，以致於落得被抓為階下囚，並且被挖了雙眼。我覺得參孫最悲慘的是，大利拉已經三翻兩次出賣參孫，他卻仍舊執迷不誤，一直到大利拉已經將他的頭髮完全剃光了，他還不知道耶和華的靈已經離開了他，還想一展他的超然體力。當我們享受在神的恩典中一段時間之後，我們慢慢的，會自以為我們已經擁有上帝所賞賜的恩典了，產生了恃寵而驕的妄想，忘記了這些恩典都是來自耶和華的賞賜。約伯說的，耶和華賞賜，耶和華收回，耶和華的名是應當稱頌的。求主保守我，會珍惜上帝所賞賜的恩典，忠心服侍，並且小心保守自己，過討神喜悅的生活。

題目: 參孫順從私慾，終至自嚐苦果成為階下囚，至終仍向上主禱告「至高上主啊，求你記念我！上帝啊，懇求再一次賜給我力量，給我一次機會報非利士人挖我雙眼之仇」試想，在嚐盡苦果後，你是為滿足復仇私慾，亦或尋求神心意而向神祈求？

16:1 參孫到了迦薩，在那裡看見一個妓女，就與她親近。
Samson went to Gaza, and there he saw a harlot, and he went in to her.
16:2 有人告訴迦薩人說：「參孫到這裡來了！」他們就把他團團圍住，終夜在城門悄悄埋伏，說：「等到夜天亮我們便殺他。」
The Gazites were told, "Samson has come here," and they surrounded the place and lay in wait for him all night at the gate of the city. They kept quiet all night, saying, "Let us wait till the light of the morning; then we will kill him."
16:3 參孫睡到半夜，起來，將城門的門扇、門框、門閂，一齊拆下來，扛在肩上，扛到希伯崙前的山頂上。
But Samson lay till midnight, and at midnight he arose and took hold of the doors of the gate of the city and the two posts, and pulled them up, bar and all, and put them on his shoulders and carried them to the top of the hill that is before Hebron.
16:4 後來，參孫在梭烈谷喜愛一個婦人，名叫大利拉。
After this he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Deli'lah.
16:5 非利士人的首領上去見那婦人，對她說：「求你誆哄參孫，探探他因何有這麼大的力氣，我們用何法能勝他，捆綁剋制他。我們就每人給你一千一百舍客勒銀子。」
And the lords of the Philistines came to her and said to her, "Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lies, and by what means we may overpower him, that we may bind him to subdue him; and we will each give you eleven hundred pieces of silver."
16:6 大利拉對參孫說：「求你告訴我，你因何有這麼大的力氣，當用何法捆綁剋制你。」
And Deli'lah said to Samson, "Please tell me wherein your great strength lies, and how you might be bound, that one could subdue you."
16:7 參孫回答說：「人若用七條未乾的青繩子捆綁我，我就軟弱像別人一樣。」
And Samson said to her, "If they bind me with seven fresh bowstrings which have not been dried, then I shall become weak, and be like any other man."
16:8 於是非利士人的首領拿了七條未乾的青繩子來，交給婦人，她就用繩子捆綁參孫。
Then the lords of the Philistines brought her seven fresh bowstrings which had not been dried, and she bound him with them.
16:9 有人預先埋伏在婦人的內室裡。婦人說：「參孫哪，非利士人拿你來了！」參孫就掙斷繩子，如掙斷經火的麻線一般。這樣，他力氣的根由人還是不知道。
Now she had men lying in wait in an inner chamber. And she said to him, "The Philistines are upon you, Samson!" But he snapped the bowstrings, as a string of tow snaps when it touches the fire. So the secret of his strength was not known.
16:10 大利拉對參孫說：「你欺哄我，向我說謊言。現在求你告訴我當用何法捆綁你。」
And Deli'lah said to Samson, "Behold, you have mocked me, and told me lies; please tell me how you might be bound."
16:11 參孫回答說：「人若用沒有使過的新繩捆綁我，我就軟弱像別人一樣。」
And he said to her, "If they bind me with new ropes that have not been used, then I shall become weak, and be like any other man."
16:12 大利拉就用新繩捆綁他，對他說：「參孫哪，非利士人拿你來了！」有人預先埋伏在內室裡。參孫將臂上的繩掙斷了，如掙斷一條線一樣。
So Deli'lah took new ropes and bound him with them, and said to him, "The Philistines are upon you, Samson!" And the men lying in wait were in an inner chamber. But he snapped the ropes off his arms like a thread.
16:13 大利拉對參孫說：「你到如今還是欺哄我，向我說謊言。求你告訴我，當用何法捆綁你。」參孫回答說：「你若將我頭上的七條髮綹，與緯線同織就可以了。」
And Deli'lah said to Samson, "Until now you have mocked me, and told me lies; tell me how you might be bound." And he said to her, "If you weave the seven locks of my head with the web and make it tight with the pin, then I shall become weak, and be like any other man."
16:14 於是大利拉將他的髮綹與緯線同織，用橛子釘住，對他說：「參孫哪，非利士人拿你來了！」參孫從睡中醒來，將機上的橛子和緯線一齊都拔出來了。
So while he slept, Deli'lah took the seven locks of his head and wove them into the web. And she made them tight with the pin, and said to him, "The Philistines are upon you, Samson!" But he awoke from his sleep, and pulled away the pin, the loom, and the web.
16:15 大利拉對參孫說：「你既不與我同心，怎麼說你愛我呢？你這三次欺哄我，沒有告訴我，你因何有這麼大的力氣。」
And she said to him, "How can you say, `I love you,' when your heart is not with me? You have mocked me these three times, and you have not told me wherein your great strength lies."
16:16 大利拉天天用話催逼他，甚至他心裡煩悶要死。
And when she pressed him hard with her words day after day, and urged him, his soul was vexed to death.
16:17 參孫就把心中所藏的都告訴了她，對她說：「向來人沒有用剃頭刀剃我的頭，因為我自出母胎就歸　神作拿細耳人；若剃了我的頭髮，我的力氣就離開我，我便軟弱像別人一樣。」
And he told her all his mind, and said to her, "A razor has never come upon my head; for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother's womb. If I be shaved, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man."
16:18 大利拉見他把心中所藏的都告訴了她，就打發人到非利士人的首領那裡，對他們說：「他已經把心中所藏的都告訴了我，請你們再上來一次。」於是非利士人的首領手裡拿著銀子，上到婦人那裡。
When Deli'lah saw that he had told her all his mind, she sent and called the lords of the Philistines, saying, "Come up this once, for he has told me all his mind." Then the lords of the Philistines came up to her, and brought the money in their hands.
16:19 大利拉使參孫枕著她的膝睡覺，叫了一個人來剃除他頭上的七條髮綹。於是大利拉剋制他，他的力氣就離開他了。
She made him sleep upon her knees; and she called a man, and had him shave off the seven locks of his head. Then she began to torment him, and his strength left him.
16:20 大利拉說：「參孫哪，非利士人拿你來了！」參孫從睡中醒來，心裡說：「我要像前幾次出去活動身體」；他卻不知道耶和華已經離開他了。
And she said, "The Philistines are upon you, Samson!" And he awoke from his sleep, and said, "I will go out as at other times, and shake myself free." And he did not know that the LORD had left him.
16:21 非利士人將他拿住，剜了他的眼睛，帶他下到迦薩，用銅鍊拘索他；他就在監裡推磨。
And the Philistines seized him and gouged out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with bronze fetters; and he ground at the mill in the prison.
16:22 然而他的頭髮被剃之後，又漸漸長起來了。
But the hair of his head began to grow again after it had been shaved.
16:23 非利士人的首領聚集，要給他們的神大袞獻大祭，並且歡樂，因為他們說：「我們的神將我們的仇敵參孫交在我們手中了。」
Now the lords of the Philistines gathered to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to rejoice; for they said, "Our god has given Samson our enemy into our hand."
16:24 眾人看見參孫，就讚美他們的神說：「我們的神將毀壞我們地、殺害我們許多人的仇敵交在我們手中了。」
And when the people saw him, they praised their god; for they said, "Our god has given our enemy into our hand, the ravager of our country, who has slain many of us."
16:25 他們正宴樂的時候，就說：「叫參孫來，在我們面前戲耍戲耍。」於是將參孫從監裡提出來，他就在眾人面前戲耍。他們使他站在兩柱中間。
And when their hearts were merry, they said, "Call Samson, that he may make sport for us." So they called Samson out of the prison, and he made sport before them. They made him stand between the pillars;
16:26 參孫向拉他手的童子說：「求你讓我摸著托房的柱子，我要靠一靠。」
and Samson said to the lad who held him by the hand, "Let me feel the pillars on which the house rests, that I may lean against them."
16:27 那時房內充滿男女，非利士人的眾首領也都在那裡。房的平頂上約有三千男女觀看參孫戲耍。
Now the house was full of men and women; all the lords of the Philistines were there, and on the roof there were about three thousand men and women, who looked on while Samson made sport.
16:28 參孫求告耶和華說：「主耶和華啊，求你眷念我。　神啊，求你賜我這一次的力量，使我在非利士人身上報那剜我雙眼的仇。」
Then Samson called to the LORD and said, "O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be avenged upon the Philistines for one of my two eyes."
16:29 參孫就抱住托房的那兩根柱子：左手抱一根，右手抱一根，
And Samson grasped the two middle pillars upon which the house rested, and he leaned his weight upon them, his right hand on the one and his left hand on the other.
16:30 說：「我情願與非利士人同死！」就盡力屈身，房子倒塌，壓住首領和房內的眾人。這樣，參孫死時所殺的人比活著所殺的還多。
And Samson said, "Let me die with the Philistines." Then he bowed with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords and upon all the people that were in it. So the dead whom he slew at his death were more than those whom he had slain during his life.
16:31 參孫的弟兄和他父的全家都下去取他的屍首，抬上來葬在瑣拉和以實陶中間，在他父瑪挪亞的墳墓裡。參孫作以色列的士師二十年。
Then his brothers and all his family came down and took him and brought him up and buried him between Zorah and Esh'ta-ol in the tomb of Mano'ah his father. He had judged Israel twenty years.

經文: 士師記 15:7 參孫對非利士人說：你們既然這樣行，我必向你們報仇才肯罷休。

默想: 從本段經文中，我們看到參孫與非利士人都是以復仇性公義 (retributive justice) 來處理彼此之間的傷害與挫折。復仇性公義最大的問題，是傷人者與復仇者對於該傷害的程度，以及如何才算是公義的評估標準，往往很難取得一致。當復仇者感覺，如此傷害對方，剛好是達到公義的要求時，傷人者卻感覺復仇者所造成的傷害程度，遠超過公義的標準。因此，冤冤相報，只會帶來一來一往、螺旋式的彼此傷害程度的加劇與擴大，一直到兩敗俱傷、同歸一盡的悲慘下場。主耶穌基督在十字架上臨死之前，為那些將他誣告以及把他釘死在十字架的人，向上帝禱告，求上帝能夠赦免他們。這種用饒恕來處理傷害的方法，開創了另外一種公義，稱為復和性公義 (restorative justice)。求主幫助我，在受到別人傷害時，能夠依靠主耶穌的力量，學習復和性公義的功課，免去復仇性公義的悲劇。

題目: 參孫經歷妻被奪、火燒非利士田、報殺妻之仇、同胞出賣後，又得上主的靈大大感動，擊殺一千人。事後，卻感口渴幾乎至死，向上主祈求，賜下活水泉，以致精神復原、活力充沛。試想你曾否經驗在人生的盡頭，竟看見神再次賜活水泉的恩典？

15:1 過了些日子，到割麥子的時候，參孫帶著一隻山羊羔去看他的妻，說：「我要進內室見我的妻。」他岳父不容他進去，
After a while, at the time of wheat harvest, Samson went to visit his wife with a kid; and he said, "I will go in to my wife in the chamber." But her father would not allow him to go in.
15:2 說：「我估定你是極其恨她，因此我將她給了你的陪伴。她的妹子不是比她還美麗嗎？你可以娶來代替她吧！」
And her father said, "I really thought that you utterly hated her; so I gave her to your companion. Is not her younger sister fairer than she? Pray take her instead."
15:3 參孫說：「這回我加害於非利士人不算有罪。」
And Samson said to them, "This time I shall be blameless in regard to the Philistines, when I do them mischief."
15:4 於是參孫去捉了三百隻狐狸（或譯：野狗），將狐狸尾巴一對一對地捆上，將火把捆在兩條尾巴中間，
So Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took torches; and he turned them tail to tail, and put a torch between each pair of tails.
15:5 點著火把，就放狐狸進入非利士人站著的禾稼，將堆集的禾捆和未割的禾稼，並橄欖園盡都燒了。
And when he had set fire to the torches, he let the foxes go into the standing grain of the Philistines, and burned up the shocks and the standing grain, as well as the olive orchards.
15:6 非利士人說：「這事是誰做的呢？」有人說：「是亭拿人的女婿參孫，因為他岳父將他的妻給了他的陪伴。」於是非利士人上去，用火燒了婦人和她的父親。
Then the Philistines said, "Who has done this?" And they said, "Samson, the son-in-law of the Timnite, because he has taken his wife and given her to his companion." And the Philistines came up, and burned her and her father with fire.
15:7 參孫對非利士人說：「你們既然這樣行，我必向你們報仇才肯罷休。」
And Samson said to them, "If this is what you do, I swear I will be avenged upon you, and after that I will quit."
15:8 參孫就大大擊殺他們，連腿帶腰都砍斷了。他便下去，住在以坦磐的穴內。
And he smote them hip and thigh with great slaughter; and he went down and stayed in the cleft of the rock of Etam.
15:9 非利士人上去安營在猶大，布散在利希。
Then the Philistines came up and encamped in Judah, and made a raid on Lehi.
15:10 猶大人說：「你們為何上來攻擊我們呢？」他們說：「我們上來是要捆綁參孫；他向我們怎樣行，我們也要向他怎樣行。」
And the men of Judah said, "Why have you come up against us?" They said, "We have come up to bind Samson, to do to him as he did to us."
15:11 於是有三千猶大人下到以坦磐的穴內，對參孫說：「非利士人轄制我們，你不知道麼？你向我們行的是甚麼事呢？」他回答說：「他們向我怎樣行，我也要向他們怎樣行。」
Then three thousand men of Judah went down to the cleft of the rock of Etam, and said to Samson, "Do you not know that the Philistines are rulers over us? What then is this that you have done to us?" And he said to them, "As they did to me, so have I done to them."
15:12 猶大人對他說：「我們下來是要捆綁你，將你交在非利士人手中。」參孫說：「你們要向我起誓，應承你們自己不害死我。」
And they said to him, "We have come down to bind you, that we may give you into the hands of the Philistines." And Samson said to them, "Swear to me that you will not fall upon me yourselves."
15:13 他們說：「我們斷不殺你，只要將你捆綁交在非利士人手中。」於是用兩條新繩捆綁參孫，將他從以坦磐帶上去。
They said to him, "No; we will only bind you and give you into their hands; we will not kill you." So they bound him with two new ropes, and brought him up from the rock.
15:14 參孫到了利希，非利士人都迎著喧嚷。耶和華的靈大大感動參孫，他臂上的繩就像火燒的麻一樣，他的綁繩都從他手上脫落下來。
When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him; and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the ropes which were on his arms became as flax that has caught fire, and his bonds melted off his hands.
15:15 他見一塊未乾的驢腮骨，就伸手拾起來，用以擊殺一千人。
And he found a fresh jawbone of an ass, and put out his hand and seized it, and with it he slew a thousand men.
15:16 參孫說：我用驢腮骨殺人成堆，用驢腮骨殺了一千人。
And Samson said, "With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jawbone of an ass have I slain a thousand men."
15:17 說完這話，就把那腮骨從手裡拋出去了。那地便叫拉末•利希。
When he had finished speaking, he threw away the jawbone out of his hand; and that place was called Ra'math-le'hi.
15:18 參孫甚覺口渴，就求告耶和華說：「你既藉僕人的手施行這麼大的拯救，豈可任我渴死、落在未受割禮的人手中呢？」
And he was very thirsty, and he called on the LORD and said, "Thou hast granted this great deliverance by the hand of thy servant; and shall I now die of thirst, and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?"
15:19 　神就使利希的窪處裂開，有水從其中湧出來。參孫喝了，精神復原；因此那泉名叫隱•哈歌利，那泉直到今日還在利希。
And God split open the hollow place that is at Lehi, and there came water from it; and when he drank, his spirit returned, and he revived. Therefore the name of it was called En-hakkor'e; it is at Lehi to this day.
15:20 當非利士人轄制以色列人的時候，參孫作以色列的士師二十年。
And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.

經文: 士師記 13:8 瑪挪亞就祈求耶和華說：「主啊，求你再差遣那神人到我們這裡來，好指教我們怎樣待這將要生的孩子。

默想: 瑪挪亞與妻子無法懷孕生育，耶和華差遣使者向他的妻子顯現，應許要賞賜給他們一個兒子。同時交待他們，這個兒子從出生就要歸耶和華作拿細耳人。妻子連忙把這個異象的經驗與瑪挪亞分享。瑪挪亞祈求耶和華，再度差遣使者，來教導他們，當如何教養這個上帝所特別賞賜的寶貝兒子。瑪挪亞夫婦是我們很好的榜樣。當他們不孕時，耐心等候上帝的恩典。當上帝應允要賞賜他們一個兒子時，他們向上帝祈求來教導他們，要如何作一個好父母，不只生養子女，還可以好好教養子女，讓子女一生走在討神喜悅的道路之上。箴言22章6節說，教養孩童，使他走當行的道，就是到老他也不偏離。求主教導我，如何才能好好的教導每一個你所賞賜給我們的寶貝子女。

題目: 以色列「又」得罪上主，上主「把他們交在」非利士人手中。試想，當我們又「偏行己路時」，上主「又」以慈愛管教我們，我們是否能悔悟知罪，回到正路，對準上主的道路？

13:1 以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，耶和華將他們交在非利士人手中四十年。
And the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD gave them into the hand of the Philistines for forty years.
13:2 那時，有一個瑣拉人，是屬但族的，名叫瑪挪亞。他的妻不懷孕，不生育。
And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the tribe of the Danites, whose name was Mano'ah; and his wife was barren and had no children.
13:3 耶和華的使者向那婦人顯現，對她說：「向來你不懷孕，不生育，如今你必懷孕生一個兒子。
And the angel of the LORD appeared to the woman and said to her, "Behold, you are barren and have no children; but you shall conceive and bear a son.
13:4 所以你當謹慎，清酒濃酒都不可喝，一切不潔之物也不可吃。
Therefore beware, and drink no wine or strong drink, and eat nothing unclean,
13:5 你必懷孕生一個兒子，不可用剃頭刀剃他的頭，因為這孩子一出胎就歸　神作拿細耳人。他必起首拯救以色列人脫離非利士人的手。」
for lo, you shall conceive and bear a son. No razor shall come upon his head, for the boy shall be a Nazirite to God from birth; and he shall begin to deliver Israel from the hand of the Philistines."
13:6 婦人就回去對丈夫說：「有一個神人到我面前來，他的相貌如　神使者的相貌，甚是可畏。我沒有問他從哪裡來，他也沒有將他的名告訴我，
Then the woman came and told her husband, "A man of God came to me, and his countenance was like the countenance of the angel of God, very terrible; I did not ask him whence he was, and he did not tell me his name;
13:7 卻對我說：『你要懷孕生一個兒子，所以清酒濃酒都不可喝，一切不潔之物也不可吃；因為這孩子從出胎一直到死，必歸　神作拿細耳人。』」
but he said to me, `Behold, you shall conceive and bear a son; so then drink no wine or strong drink, and eat nothing unclean, for the boy shall be a Nazirite to God from birth to the day of his death.'"
13:8 瑪挪亞就祈求耶和華說：「主啊，求你再差遣那神人到我們這裡來，好指教我們怎樣待這將要生的孩子。」
Then Mano'ah entreated the LORD, and said, "O, LORD, I pray thee, let the man of God whom thou didst send come again to us, and teach us what we are to do with the boy that will be born."
13:9 　神應允瑪挪亞的話；婦人正坐在田間的時候，　神的使者又到她那裡，她丈夫瑪挪亞卻沒有同她在一處。
And God listened to the voice of Mano'ah, and the angel of God came again to the woman as she sat in the field; but Mano'ah her husband was not with her.
13:10 婦人急忙跑去告訴丈夫說：「那日到我面前來的人，又向我顯現。」
And the woman ran in haste and told her husband, "Behold, the man who came to me the other day has appeared to me."
13:11 瑪挪亞起來跟隨他的妻來到那人面前，對他說：「與這婦人說話的就是你嗎？」他說：「是我。」
And Mano'ah arose and went after his wife, and came to the man and said to him, "Are you the man who spoke to this woman?" And he said, "I am."
13:12 瑪挪亞說：「願你的話應驗！我們當怎樣待這孩子，他後來當怎樣呢？」
And Mano'ah said, "Now when your words come true, what is to be the boy's manner of life, and what is he to do?"
13:13 耶和華的使者對瑪挪亞說：「我告訴婦人的一切事，她都當謹慎。
And the angel of the LORD said to Mano'ah, "Of all that I said to the woman let her beware.
13:14 葡萄樹所結的都不可吃，清酒濃酒都不可喝，一切不潔之物也不可吃。凡我所吩咐的，她都當遵守。」
She may not eat of anything that comes from the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, or eat any unclean thing; all that I commanded her let her observe."
13:15 瑪挪亞對耶和華的使者說：「求你容我們款留你，好為你預備一隻山羊羔。」
Mano'ah said to the angel of the LORD, "Pray, let us detain you, and prepare a kid for you."
13:16 耶和華的使者對瑪挪亞說：「你雖然款留我，我卻不吃你的食物，你若預備燔祭就當獻與耶和華。」原來瑪挪亞不知道他是耶和華的使者。
And the angel of the LORD said to Mano'ah, "If you detain me, I will not eat of your food; but if you make ready a burnt offering, then offer it to the LORD." (For Mano'ah did not know that he was the angel of the LORD.)
13:17 瑪挪亞對耶和華的使者說：「請將你的名告訴我，到你話應驗的時候，我們好尊敬你。」
And Mano'ah said to the angel of the LORD, "What is your name, so that, when your words come true, we may honor you?"
13:18 耶和華的使者對他說：「你何必問我的名，我名是奇妙的。」
And the angel of the LORD said to him, "Why do you ask my name, seeing it is wonderful?"
13:19 瑪挪亞將一隻山羊羔和素祭在磐石上獻與耶和華，使者行奇妙的事；瑪挪亞和他的妻觀看，
So Mano'ah took the kid with the cereal offering, and offered it upon the rock to the LORD, to him who works wonders.
13:20 見火焰從壇上往上升，耶和華的使者在壇上的火焰中也升上去了。瑪挪亞和他的妻看見，就俯伏於地。
And when the flame went up toward heaven from the altar, the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar while Mano'ah and his wife looked on; and they fell on their faces to the ground.
13:21 耶和華的使者不再向瑪挪亞和他的妻顯現，瑪挪亞才知道他是耶和華的使者。
The angel of the LORD appeared no more to Mano'ah and to his wife. Then Mano'ah knew that he was the angel of the LORD.
13:22 瑪挪亞對他的妻說：「我們必要死，因為看見了　神。」
And Mano'ah said to his wife, "We shall surely die, for we have seen God."
13:23 他的妻卻對他說：「耶和華若要殺我們，必不從我們手裡收納燔祭和素祭，並不將這一切事指示我們，今日也不將這些話告訴我們。」
But his wife said to him, "If the LORD had meant to kill us, he would not have accepted a burnt offering and a cereal offering at our hands, or shown us all these things, or now announced to us such things as these."
13:24 後來婦人生了一個兒子，給他起名叫參孫。孩子長大，耶和華賜福與他。
And the woman bore a son, and called his name Samson; and the boy grew, and the LORD blessed him.
13:25 在瑪哈尼•但，就是瑣拉和以實陶中間，耶和華的靈才感動他。
And the Spirit of the LORD began to stir him in Ma'haneh-dan, between Zorah and Esh'ta-ol.
